James glared at his wife in confusion.

"You, what?!" He growled.

Ann's eyes widened, surprised at her husband's tone, particularly in front of Kim, who looked just as afraid as she did.

"I'm sorry James, Kimmie, but it's true, I've know about Daniel and his work for a long time." Ann mumbled.

"Why didn't you tell me?! 19 years of marriage and all the way through, you didn't bring up anything about a brother! In fact you didn't really tell me much about your parents!" James yelled, making both Ann and Kim flinch.

"Listen, I don't want to argue about this in front of Kim." Ann replied "long story short, I never told you because I was afraid that you would divorce me if you found out that my dad and brother are villains!"

James shot a hideous look at his wife and turned away from her, as far as the roped would let him.

"Are you two finished? I've got some news to deliver!" Daniel announced.

"What is it?" Asked Ann.

"Do we even want to hear it?" Asked James.

"It's about our father, he wants you all dead, that's why I'm here, he sent me to kill you." Daniel admitted "it's because of Kim and her connection with the Global Justice Network."

Ann and James looked at each other in shock.

"But why would he want to kill his own daughter, son in law, granddaughter and grandsons?" James enquired.

"He doesn't know that you guys are related to him, the only way that I knew was by recognizing features on Kim's face, he has never seen so much as a picture pf any of you. He only knows your address because he tracked you down after the invasion."

Kim muffled under the tape and squirmed in discomfort. She had emerald eyes, full of confusion and fear, darting from both of her parents, to Daniel.

"Let me take the tape off, hold still, Kim." Daniel said, tearing the tape away.

"I don't understand! You are my uncle and you and Grandfather are villains? Are you going to kill us?" Kim gabbled, her voice shaking.

"No I'm not going to kill you, now I've found out that you're my family, I will protect you instead. I suggest, Ann, James, you keep everyone safe here, tomorrow nad I'll make up a lie that I killed you to our dad."

"But surely, you could just tell him the truth, he would stop coming after us if he knew that we are his family, right?" Ann said, hopefully.

"Sadly that wouldn't stop him. He wouldn't care if he knew that you are his family, he would just go for the kill, because Kim works for Global Justice. Trust me, he tried to kill me before, when I didn't complete something for him."

"What? He was never like that when we where little!" Ann exclaimed "he used to be so kind and lovely."

"You're wrong there. I remember the night when he left to be a villain, you can imagine how terrible and violent that row was."

"The row mum mentioned in her letter..." Ann said under her breath, then she remembered.

Saturday October 12th 1985-

Mat and Kira where lying on their bed, as far apart as they could be, staring up at the ceiling. Daniel and Anna had been put to bed only an hour ago and Pam was at a sleepover, so Mat thought that it would be a good idea to tell his wife his plans for the future.

"Kira, we've been so distant recently, that I want to move on."

Kira rolled over and stared at him with angry, blue eyes.

"What do you mean? Have you found someone else, is that what this is?!" Kira yelled.

To her surprise, her husband simply chuckled, looking at her with a nasty smirk, that he usually had on when he was off his head pissed.

"Oh, stop jumping to conclusions, dear. I mean that I have decided to let my dreams come alive, make them start happening and maybe that way, we could love each other, all over again."

Kira thought about her husband's words, with her head bent low. Recently, they had been growing apart, less cuddles, more fights, less talking, more shouting. Maybe following their dreams would make them happier and sew the family back together again.

"What is your dream?"

"I would like to be a villain."

Kira started laughing, thinking that he was just playing around.

"Really? You a villain?" She chuckled.

Just then, Mat turned cruel and grabbed his wife tightly by the wrists, shaking her.

"Do you think that I'm not good enough? Do you think that I was joking? Do you want me to show you how evil I am?!" Mat bellowed.

"Shhhh! You'll wake the kids."

"Do I care? They need to know who their father is! Who he was meant to be all along!"

"You're a drunk and you always have been!" Kira screamed, trying to wriggle free from Mat's grasp.

"Oh no, I'm not drunk! I can just feel power, I can feel the true villain in me!" Mat roared.

"You're a mad man! Get away from me!" Kira cried, pushing her husband away and running out of the room, to collect her kids and get out of there.

Mat ran after her and grabbed her hair in the hallway, making her scream and fall over.

Daniel and Anna sat up in their beds and turned their nightlights on.

"Mum's in trouble!" Daniel cried, leaping out of bed and running into the hall way.

Kira was still on the ground, crying and screaming as Mat had his rough, filthy grip on her hair.

"Mum! Dad stop, please!" Daniel begged.

Mat realised Kira's hair and smirked at his two kids. Daniel was standing, stone still, both of his hands where up, as a sign for stop. Anna, meanwhile, had her little, pudgy fingers around the edge of her bedroom door frame, behind her brother. Her eyes where large, her lips where parted in shock and she was shaking from head to toe.

Suddenly, Mat grabbed Daniel by the arm and dragged him downstairs. Daniel screamed for his mum and tried to pull away.

"Mat, no! Get off him! Leave him alone!" Kira cried, rushing after them. She grabbed onto Mat's sleeve, but he pushed her away.

"I'm taking him with me! He's my son and he can be a valuable addition to my evil plans!"

"No! You can't do that! He hasn't got any clothes with him, no food, no toothbrush, toys, nothing! Most importantly, he's my son too, you can't just take him away from me!" Kira screamed.

"He doesn't need any of that stuff, I've got the money to pay for it. Oh and by the time he's all trained, he won't want to be your son anymore."

"What?!" Kira cried, as Mat dragged Daniel into the hall "what do you mean he won't want to be my son? Also, what money?"

"I've been saving for this for years! This is my dream and I won't have you take it away from me!" Mat shouted, storming out of the door, Daniel behind him.

"What did I do to him? Why is he acting this way?" Kira cried, tears cascading down her face.

Anna came downstairs and wrapped her arms around her mum.

"They'll come back mummy. I promise." Anna whispered.

"Really? I bet that you'd be better of without me too, wouldn't you?"

"No." Ann muttered.

"Don't lie to me!" Kira said, shaking Anna violently.

"Stop it!" Anna shouted, pulling away.

"Sorry. I'm so sorry baby." Kira said, embracing Anna's tiny form.

After that Kira invited a few friends around to help. She wanted Pam to help, but she refused. Pam walked out on them after a while, because she found her mum too difficult.

Ann eventually met James one lunch time at college, when they where both getting pot noodles in a shop. They fell in love, married in 1998 and then had a child, named Kim.

"Yeah I remember it all now." Ann muttered.

"It wasn't much fun for me either. The moment I got to our dad's new place, I was thrust into training."

"Training?" Ann asked.

"Yeah, training. Hard, evil training."

1985-

"Alright son, make me proud!" Mat shouted, shoving Daniel into a boxing ring.

"But, I can't box!" Daniel panicked.

"Exactly! I want to see how weak you are!" Chuckled Mat.

Daniel noticed some men he had never seen before, in green uniform, climb over the red rope around the ring.

One of the men swung at Daniel, just missing his jaw. The other tried to grab him from behind, but Daniel dodged him and kicked at him. He managed to kick the man where it hurts and run as far away from as possible.

Just then, he felt a hard whack on his stomach, catapulting him backwards and falling down on the other side of the ring. He started to see black and struggled to stand. He just lay there, trying to register what had happened.

"What's wrong with you? Scared?" One of the men taunted.

"That's when I snapped, I couldn't bare being made fun off. I kicked the guy so hard that he flew over the ring and needed to go to hospital. Dad was proud, so he trained me and here we are today. Dad's got a lot of money that he stole and he's using it to run his evil business."

"Hold on a sec, how come I have never heard of you guys?" Asked Kim.

"Because dad hid his lair away, got rid of any school records, marriage stuff, birth certificates and things. He wiped us off the radar. Now, I need to protect you guys from getting hurt."

"Could you untie us first?" Ann asked.

"Uh, sure. Just don't hurt me, I seriously won't cause you any harm because you are my family."

"You shouldn't hurt people who aren't your family either." James said.

"I have to, dad's orders, it's what's done in his place."

"Well, you are a grown man, why are you still following his orders?" Asked Kim, as Daniel untied her.

"Because if I don't, he'll kill me. I seriously wasn't joking when I said that he had tried to before."

"In that case, we aren't the only ones who need protection." Ann said.

"But how will you protect me?" Daniel asked.

"Well, I am a crime fighter, I could." Kim suggested.

"I appreciate the offer, Kim, but your granddad is unstoppable"

Suddenly an idea came into Kim's head.

"My boy friend, Ron Stoppable, could beat him, he's got Mystical Monkey Power."

Daniel laughed "Seriously? Aren't you a bit old for pretend games?"

"No, this isn't pretend!" Kim said, getting a bit frustrated "he used it to save me in the Lowardion invasion!"

Daniel bit his lip and sighed.

"We'll see." He uttered, still not sure whether to believe her.

Just then, his walkie talkie went off, making him, Ann, James, Kim and the henchmen, stare at each other in horror.

To be continued...

Hey, sorry this is a bit late, I made it longer to make it up to you.
