Last time on Whodunnit? 12 everyday strangers from all walks of life entered the Rue Manor to play a diabolical game of life... and death. Things started off with a bang, literally! Disrespectful Alani went out in a blaze and her life was extinguished on the front lawn, where the remaining 11 guests discovered her body.

They were then told that this was no accident, and filled in on the details of the game, and pretty soon set off on an investigation to save their lives. The guests had varying success, some shone bright, and others, dimmed out.

In the end, Blossom, the sneaky Cherrim proved to be the Pokémon of the hour and not only solved the riddle, but the entire case. With the tops, there must also be bottoms. Mary, the timid Mareep didn't do so hot, and ended up with a scared card. Our biggest loser however, was Kenny the Komala! The unenthusiastic houseguest did not impress the Killer and was punished with death.

However, the game must go on and our remaining 10 guests will have to solve this murder, and get one step closer to unmasking Whodunnit?

None of the houseguests were really surprised to see Kenny dead. Most of them suspected that the young man was going to end up dead. They were still understandably upset though. Another person had died, and the game continues on.

Mary, who was grateful to be alive embraced Drake. The two hugged a bit before they saw Wallace approach the group.

"I'm so grateful to be alive, I didn't get a wink of sleep. I was absolutely petrified that I was the next to go.." Mary wiped a tear from her eye. "Since I have this second chance, I'm going to take full advantage of it, no more slacking off for me!"

"Houseguests!" Wallace addressed the group of Pokémon as he ushered them into the living room.

"Kenny is dead. The killer has struck again." Wallace announced the obvious. "Same as last time, there will be 3 areas for you to choose from to investigate. You will have an allotted time 30 minutes to investigate your area of choosing."

"The three areas you may choose from this time are the crime scene, which is the upstairs hallway. The last known whereabouts, which is the estate kitchen, and of course the morgue." Wallace took a breath before continuing on. "If you would like to investigate the crime scene, please raise your hands."

Missy, Justin, Shane, Drake and Blossom all raised their hands (in Missy's case she just stated that she'd like to investigate the crime scene.) Mary started to raise her leg, but after a look from Drake, she stopped and realized it would be smarter to split up to gather more clues.

"Mary and I figured it would be helpful if we at least covered two out of the three areas. Last time we stuck together, which didn't really help us that much." Drake sighed. "Hopefully this works and we end up spared at the end of the day."

"Alright, you four please follow Irene upstairs." Wallace redirected his attention back to the remaining guests after the group of four left.

"How many of you would prefer to investigate the last know whereabouts?" Wallace asked.

Quinton and Mary were the only ones who wanted to investigate the kitchen. Wallace raised his eyebrows at the small amount of choosers, but made no further comment.

"I was shocked that it was only Mary and I who chose to investigate the Kitchen," Quinton grinned. "I know that Mary and I will probably end up having some key info, and I'm very happy about that."

"You two may follow Rosalina to the kitchen." Once the two Pokémon left, Wallace asked Tom, Penny and Shawna to follow him to the morgue.

The Crime Scene: Blossom, Missy, Shane, Justin and Drake

The group of five entered the hallway. Spreading out, the Pokémon looked around diligently to find some sort of clue.

Blossom broke off from the group very quickly to conduct her own investigation.

"I'm a very independent person. I like doing things solo if possible, I was raised not to rely on others." Blossom said. "It's hard to trust anyone when there's a psychotic killer on the loose, and everyone is fighting for their lives."

Shane noticed Blossom wander off so he decided to follow her. He knew that she was a good detective and he figured that if anyone was capable of finding an important clue, that it was Blossom.

"Yesterday, I was robbed of the riddle by Blossom." Shane said with a frown. "Even though she apologized, I'm still a bit mad over the whole thing."

Justin and Drake decided to search around together, figuring that two sets of eyes are definitely better than one.

They weren't having very much progress, but neither gave up on their search.

"There has to be a clue somewhere..." Drake said, a little bit frustrated at the lack of progress made thus far.

"Don't stress out about it, Drake." Justin rubbed the Gible's back consolingly. "I'm sure we'll find something."

"Yeah, you're right.." Drake calmed down a little.

"I have to find something to take back to Mary." Drake commented, a little bit afraid of being scared because he couldn't find any information at the crime scene. "If I can't keep Mary and I safe, we might end up dying!"

Missy was floating up and down the hallway, looking for clues by herself. She wasn't really bothered by this though, she was used to be isolated and solo.

Missy had an idea. She couldn't believe nobody had thought of this considering how obvious this was. She was a bit embarrassed that it took this long to be done.

"I'm shocked that this wasn't done immediately," Missy tilted her head sheepishly. "I don't know why we didn't immediately investigate where the body was found, but everyone else was too preoccupied with that they were doing to notice me."

Missy floated to where Kenny's body used to be. On inspection, Missy saw a pool of blood on the floor. She sniffed the blood, but there was no odd scent or anything like that. It was just a standard pool of blood.

"Nothing weird about that." said Justin from behind her.

"Ack!" Missy jumped up, startled by the Pokémon. She didn't notice him walk behind her so he was a bit spooked when he spoke.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Justin apologized to Missy.

"It's alright," Missy forgave the Lickilicky. "I found this pool of blood..."

"Yeah, we saw you looking at it so we came to check." Justin told Missy.

"Finally, we found something!" Justin smiled widely. "Well, Missy found something. I just followed her. I'm glad we got something though, even if it is something as silly as a blood pool."

The two Pokémon stared at the pool of blood for a bit, not quite sure what to make of it. There wasn't anything particular odd about it, it was just a pool of blood. It wasn't until they looked beside it when they noticed that there were smaller drops leading away from it.

Taking the initiative, Justin started tracing the drops of blood back to the staircase. He looked over and saw my droplets on the stairs as well.

"That's weird.." Missy said from behind the Lickilicky. "It's just little droplets of blood, but then it suddenly turns into a puddle?"

"Did he have a nosebleed or something?" Justin thought aloud, trying to think of explanations for the weird puddles.

Missy just shook her head, unable to really provide an answer to the question that Justin asked.

"What did y'all find?" Drake approached the two, he had decided to see what the others were doing after having no real progress with his own investigation.

"We found a puddle of blood, and a trail of droplets leading to it." Justin explained to the little Gible.

"It lead to Kenny's bedroom?" Drake asked.

"Yup, it did." Missy answered. "We're not sure why though."

"Thankfully, I do have something to take back to Mary from the crime scene." Drake said with a small smile. "It's not much, but it's better than nothing. I just hope she's having better luck at the last known than I am here."

Meanwhile, Blossom and Shane also found something. The two had found the blood puddle, but they also noticed something lying in it. There were little wood shavings in the pool of blood, and the two were a bit stumped by it. They didn't however notice the tiny droplets of blood leading to the pool of blood, or pay any attention to the three other Pokémon having a discussion about the trail of blood.

"Why are there wood shavings in this pile of blood?" Blossom asked Shane, trying to make sense of the evidence they just found.

"I'm not sure, Blossom." The Snover was just as confused as the Cherrim.

"We found these wood chippings in the pool of blood," Blossom said. "We don't know what to think of it though, but we're sure it's something important. Pokémon don't just bleed wood chippings. I'm guessing it probably came from the murder weapon or something."

After the two walked away, Drake walked over to investigate the puddle of blood on his own. The Gible saw the wood chippings that Missy and Justin had missed, and he made note of the presence of it.

"That's odd..." Drake said, but right as he got those words out, the estate bell rang, signifying that the investigation time was up.

The Last Known Whereabouts: Quinton and Mary

Quinton and Mary entered the kitchen. The two stood still, looking around the estate's state of the art kitchen. Neither really said anything for a few minutes.

"Uh, maybe we should look together? It is just the two of us after all." Quinton suggested to Mary.

"I'd be fine with that." Mary squeaked out.

"Alright, lets do this." Quinton walked around the kitchen looking for something, and Mary followed after him.

"I feel really bad for Mary." Quinton said. "Last night she was scared, and I just can't help but pity her. I want to help her with this investigation as much as I possibly can without hurting my own game. At the end of the day only one of us will survive, but that doesn't mean I have to put my own morals aside."

Mary was the first one to discover something. On the edge of one of the counters, there was some blood stains on top of the surface, and some dripping down.

"Hey Quinton, I think I found something," Mary called out from the counter.

Quinton walked over to the Mareep to investigate her findings.

"Oh, what's this?" Quinton asked.

"I found something on the counter. There's a bloodstain and some dripping down the side as well." Mary repeated her findings.

The Quilava looked closer, and saw the stains and dripping blood.

"It looks like someone hit their head on this." Quinton stated.

"It does, doesn't it?" Mary responsed. "How did this happen though?"

"I'm not sure myself. Maybe Kenny tripped on something and hit his head?" Quinton offered a response.

"I guess that could of been what happened. I just don't understand how, it doesn't look like anything tripped him on the ground." Mary said while looking at the ground.

Quinton started looking on the ground too, but unlike Mary, he was able to find something.

"Huh?" Quinton said. "What's this?" Quinton saw little blood droplets on the floor.

"Why is that there?" Mary asked. Suddenly she thought of something. "Do you think he tripped, hit his nose on the counter and it started to bleed?"

"That's definitely possible." Quinton responded. "Why didn't he get a tissue though? The trash can is empty."

"Maybe he was interrupted by something?" Mary suggested.

"By what though?" Quinton asked. When he finished, he started to walk around the kitchen some more.

"Maybe we should try to find out why he was in the kitchen in the first place." Mary suggested.

"Maybe he wanted a midnight snack?" Quinton said, while opening the fridge. "Holy shit!" Quinton stumbled backwards after slamming the fridge door shut.

"Huh? What's wrong?" Mary ran over to see what was wrong.

"T-The fridge! Inside of it." Quinton stuttered, still shaken by whatever he found inside of the fridge.

"Quinton opened the fridge and got really scared by whatever was in it." Mary said. "It must be something important to the case, but I'm really scared to check it out for myself." Mary sniffed. "I have to be brave for Drake though, I know he's counting on me to get some good information for us."

Mary opened the fridge, and she yelped when she saw what was inside of it. Inside of the fridge was a wild Ekans. Slamming the door shut, she started crying.

"Oh my stars! Why the hell is that in the fridge!" Mary screamed. She recalled something Kenny told her on the first day. "Quinton! I know what happened that made Kenny trip!"

"Huh?" Quinton looked confused, before he put two and two together. "Do you think he got spooked and fell backwards onto the counter?"

"Not just that, but I remember Kenny telling me he had a deathly fear of snakes!" Mary was excited. She knew this was a very important discovery they had made.

"If Kenny had seen a snake, there's no doubt in my mind that he would of dropped the tissue and made a run for it in a panic!" Mary said confidently. "This makes a lot of sense to me, I'm pretty sure this Ekans didn't just end up in that fridge on accident. The killer placed that there as a trap for Kenny!"

The two Pokémon looked down at the ground and saw some blood droplets. The blood droplets led over to the kitchen door.

"Yeah, I think Kenny made a run for it and got blood on the ground from his nose." Quinton stated.

"Kenny opened the fridge, saw the snake, stumbled back and tripped, hit his nose on the counter, got a nosebleed and made a run for it." Mary offered her thoughts on what happened.

"That makes sense, I'm pretty sure you're correct on that." Quinton agreed with Mary.

"We have a vital piece of info, Quinton." Mary said. "I think we should keep this within our own groups." Mary took a breath. "What if you, Shawna and Missy joined up with Drake and I."

"Honestly, that's a good idea. We can definitely be a force to be reckoned with if we do that, plus I'm pretty sure the killer is probably one of the other 5 people left." Quinton agreed to the alliance.

"So Mary offers this alliance." Quinton said. "She suggested that her and Drake join forces with Missy, Shawna and I. Honestly, I'm all for it."

Suddenly, the estate bell rings. Their investigation time is up, but the two feel relatively confident exiting the kitchen. They know that they made the right decision about investigating the kitchen.

The Morgue: Tom, Penny and Shawna

"It's cold..." Penny said when they entered the room.

"Yeah, it's a morgue, Penny." Shawna said to the Lurantis.

Tom didn't pay any mind to the two, he just got to work immediately. Walking over to the body, he pulled the cover back and started looking over the body.

"If the girls want to waste time chatting away, I'll let them." Tom said. "I won't however, waste time with them. I have a murder to solve, and it's imperative that I do this as best as I can,"

Penny and Shawna walked over to Tom and looked over his shoulder.

"Find anything?" Penny asked the Tepig.

"Not yet, I might be able to faster if I could have some help." Tom answered Penny's question.

"Let me, I'm Nurse Joy's assistant anyway. If anyone can find something it would be me." Shawna walked over to Tom's side and started looking over the body.

Right away, Shawna found something. Turning over Kenny's body, it was clear that there was a blunt force wound on the back of his neck. Blood was pouring from it, and his neck was at an unnatural angle.

"It looks like his neck was snapped or something from the wound. Death would of been instantaneous if that cracked the cervical spine," Shawna said. "That's a fatal wound. I'm not going to tell them about the cervical spine though. I'll let them figure that out themselves."

"That's fatal right?" Penny asked. "It looks like his neck was broken or something."

Tom just nodded, and Shawna didn't respond at all.

Tom inspected the wound closer and noticed stuff in the wound. He saw the same wood chippings that the people at the crime scene found in the puddle of blood in the hallway.

"Oh.." Tom said. Shawna and Penny looked at where he was looking and saw the same thing.

"Wait a minute.." Penny said, suddenly face palming.

"What?" Shawna looked at the Lurantis in confusion.

"I can't believe we didn't notice this sooner!" Penny said to the Clefable.

"Kenny always had his log with him, but at the morgue it's no where to be found." Penny said. "Suspiciously, there's wood chippings in his neck wound. I think that he was hit on the neck with his own log."

"Notice wh-, oh!" Shawna realized what was wrong. "His log! It's not with him!"

"You're right!" Tom said. "Where could it be though? Do you think it's in one of the other areas?"

"It could be, it's clearly not in the morgue with us." Shawna responded.

"Well, I'm sure we'll find out later. We should probably continue our investigation now." Penny redirected the conversation, not wanting to waste any more time.

Turning the body back over, Tom made the next discovery. Looking at the nose, Tom saw that the nose seemed to not only have been bleeding earlier, but it also was broken.

"What happened to his nose?" Tom asked.

"Maybe he was hit on the nose by the same thing that made the neck wound?" Penny said.

"It's possible." Shawna responded, not sounding confident in it.

"Kenny has this nose wound." Shawna said. "Penny and Tom think it's from the same thing as the neck wound, but I'm not sure that that's the case. There would be more trauma if he was hit on the face with the same thing that caused that neck wound."

Right before the estate bell rang, Penny started to look over the body some more and made a last minute discovery. On Kenny's arm, there was a snake bite. She didn't have time to tell the others of her findings as the bell rang.

"On Kenny's arm there was this bite mark," Penny said. "I'm not sure what it was from but it kinda threw me off. What we found in the morgue was aneck wound, this bite doesn't make any sense to me."

The ten remaining guests gathered in the living room, having been called there by Wallace. They all looked at the Watchog in curiosity, wondering why he had called them all there.

"Well, I hope you used your investigation time wisely. Same as last time, the Killer has provided you some time to discuss your findings with each other. Good luck houseguests, use this time to the fullest." Wallace said. "Also! We have sliders and fruit salads available in the parlor for anyone who is feeling a bit peckish."

The houseguests dispersed to discuss their info. They knew that they wouldn't be able to solve the murder without at least having some info from the other scenes. Kenny tried going solo, and look where it got him. Dead on a morgue slab, that's where it got him.

Quinton gathered up Missy and Shawna real quick and explained to them the deal he and Mary had made in the kitchen.

"We're going to work with Mary and Drake for the time being." Quinton told the other two.

"Oh, alright." Missy said, a bit caught off guard but she had no real issues with it.

"The more the merrier, but just to be sure, we're still closest with each other right?" Shawna asked.

"Of course, duh." Quinton reassured.

"So Quinton comes to us with this deal he made with Mary at the last known whereabouts." Missy said. "I personally have no issues with it, but in the end only one of us will survive, so eventually we're gonna have to cut those ties."

"Let's go meet up with them." Quinton told the girls, and they walked off to find Mary and Drake.

Meanwhile, Shane and Blossom had come up with a plan. They knew that the two of them only had one area between them, so they had to get info from the last known and morgue. The two were in the parlor with their food, and they were discussing what to do.

"What if you go talk to Penny, and I go talk to Quinton?" Shane asked Blossom.

"Yeah, that seems good to me." Blossom went off in search of Penny.

"Shane came up with this plan to get the rest of the information, and I'm on board with it." Blossom said. "If we survive tonight, I know we're going to have to split up if we work together. We can't make this mistake again."

Justin, Penny and Tom sat in the library discussing their findings when Blossom walked in to talk with them.

"Hi guys." Blossom greeted. "Do y'all want to talk about our findings?"

"That's what we were doing, you're free to join if you'd like." Justin said.

"I just can't turn a person away, to be honest." Justin sighed. "I know it's a game and all, but I just have such a big heart. I know that I'm going to have to toughen up soon if I want to survive, but the more information we have the better."

"Alright, so at the crime scene, we didn't really find much." Justin started. "All there really was just a puddle of blood and some droplets leading from it to the stairs."

"That's it?" Penny asked incredulously. "That can't be it, can it?"

"Justin finishes telling us what they found at the crime scene in like 5 seconds and I'm shocked." Penny said. "There's no way that that's all he found. There has to be more, right?"

Blossom wasn't sure if she should tell them about the wood shavings in the blood pool. If they didn't solve the riddle, having that little bit of info over the others might save her.

"I don't feel to guilty over not sharing the wood chippings with the others. In the end, it's a fight for my life, and sharing info that might save me with others will help their game, but won't help mine." Blossom said.

"Well, at the morgue we found a lot," Tom started to explain. "Firstly, Kenny had a wound on the back of his neck. It looked pretty bad, so it wouldn't surprise me if it killed him."

"Also, he had a wound on his nose too. It looked broken, and it was clearly bleeding too." Penny finished for Tom.

"Oh! There was also these little wood chippings in the wound too, but we aren't sure how those got there to be honest. All I can really think is that it's from the murder weapon." Tom said.

"I'm not sure if I want to disclose the log, because I'm pretty sure they didn't find it at the crime scene. All I can think is that it's at the last known whereabouts, so I'm going to have to talk to either Quinton or Mary about that later." Tom said.

"One more thing, right before the bell rang, I noticed something on Kenny's arm. Not only was there dried blood, but there was also what looked like two fang marks, maybe from a snake?" Penny said.

"That makes no sense?" Justin said, a bit confused.

"Penny tells us that there was a snake bite on Kenny's arm." Justin says. "I'm so confused by that. It doesn't match up with what we found, so how is that possible? All I can do is hopefully solve the riddle."

While they finished discussing, Mary and Drake met up with Quinton, Missy and Shawna outside at the patio.

"So, let's discuss what we found." Shawna said. "I'll go first. At the morgue, there was a fatal neck wound on Kenny. His cervical spine seemed to be snapped, and there was little wood chippings in the wound too."

"Oh! There was wood shavings in the pool of blood I found at the crime scene!" Drake interrupted Shawna with his discovery.

"So that's why there was wood shavings in the pool of blood!" Drake said. "I still don't know where it came from, but I know that if probably had something to do with the murder weapon."

"That adds up with what we found, and I think I know where they came from too." Shawna said. "I'll get to that after I finish my findings though. Kenny's nose was broken too, and here's the biggest thing in my opinion. Kenny always has his little log with him right? In the morgue it was nowhere to be found. My guess is that it was stolen, and maybe used to beat the back of his neck. That would explain why there was wood chippings in his wound."

"We didn't find any logs in the kitchen," Mary says. "I'm wondering where his log went, maybe Drake found it at the crime scene?"

"We did find something even better though!" Quinton said. "In the kitchen there was some blood on the counter, as well as some dripping down the side. Furthermore, there was little droplets leading from the counter to the door. We think it was probably from a nosebleed, and that he tripped and hit his nose on it. Here's where things get interesting though. In the fridge, there was an Ekans."

"An Ekans? Why in the world was there an Ekans in the fridge?" Drake looked shocked, absolutely stunned by that revelation.

"So Quinton tells us that there was an Ekans in the fridge, and I'm pretty shocked." Shawna said. "There wasn't any snake bites at the morgue as far as I'm concerned, why would there be a snake at the last known?"

"Here's what we think happened. So just so y'all know, Kenny has a massive fear of snakes. I think Kenny opened the fridge, saw the Ekans, freaked out and tripped. Then he hit his nose on the counter, which broke his nose and made him start bleeding. He then ran out of the kitchen upstairs, and somehow died up there." Mary explained her theory.

"Well, here's what I found at the crime scene. There was a pool of blood where the body was found, and leading away from that pool of blood were little droplets of blood which I think was probably from his nosebleed. I didn't notice the shavings though, so thank god Drake did." Missy told the other group.

"I guess that's all, hopefully we solve this riddle to tie up all the loose ends." Quinton said, and right after Shane walked by, finally finding them. It was too late though, as the estate bell rang, signifying that time to discuss was over.

"Oh my god! Not only did I not get anything from the last known whereabouts, but I also didn't get anything from the morgue either. I'm literally screwed if I don't solve the riddle. I need that immunity bad!" Shane panicked.

"Dear houseguests, once again the Killer has provided me with a riddle to share with you." Wallace told the ten Pokémon who had gathered in front of him. He passed out 10 playing cards each with a riddle on them, as well two dice to each houseguest.

"With all of the lies, cheats and snakes

this can give quite a few headaches,

In the room where you can find over the counter relief

you might find something beyond belief,

hurry quick to make the play

so that you can maybe save the day."

"Godspeed, my guests." Wallace said. "Remember, there's immunity on the line."

Without another word, Wallace walked off and left the group of ten to their thoughts.

Similar to last time, everyone started scattering off to solve the riddle, whether it be alone or in groups. While last time Missy, Quinton and Shawna decided to work together, this time Missy decided to try and tackle the riddle by herself.

Missy wondered around for a couple minutes, not really making any progress. She decided to go over the riddle again, focusing on the snake part. She remembered that they had found a snake in the fridge, so she figured that maybe there was something in the fridge.

She searched the fridge, but didn't find anything related to the riddle sadly.

Meanwhile, Quinton, Shawna, and Drake had gathered in the living room to put their heads together. Going over the riddle, they tried dissecting it one part at a time.

"The first two parts are probably references to the snake and neck wound. That's just red herring." Quinton said.

"Yeah, the important parts is probably what comes after that." offered Drake.

"Over the counter.." Shawna kept repeating to herself. Suddenly, she had an idea. "Wait! Aren't there over the counter medicines in kitchen cabinets?" Shawna ran off immediately after saying that, not even waiting around for a second. The others followed her to the kitchen too.

What they didn't know however, was that someone else had made that connection too, even before Missy had entered the kitchen herself.

Penny, who had decided to just analyze the riddle instead of going on a wild goose chase immediately picked up the over the counter part of the riddle. She went to the kitchen and searched through the cabinets when she found a notecard. Attached to that notecard was a receipt with an order of Ekans, and another riddle.

"It was a snake bite! But was that what killed Kenny?" Penny walked off with the riddle card, meaning to read it outside. On her way out she bumped into the Drake, Quinton and Shawna, but they didn't notice that she had the card.

"You're almost there, just one last scramble

head to the parlor where you'll make a gamble,

once there you must roll snake eyes

and then you'll find out how Kenny dies."

Penny made her way to the parlor, but she wasn't alone there. Mary, who had made it there from the "make a play" part of the riddle was searching around trying to figure out what to do next.

Penny walked in silently, not really wanting Mary to figure out the riddle first. Searching diligently for where she had to "make a gamble", Penny realized that she had to go to where the poker equipment was. Luckily for Penny, Mary had given up her search and left the room.

Penny rolled the dice and landed on two ones, aka "snake eyes". Suddenly, a drawer popped out and the estate bell rang, signifying that she had solved the riddle.

"Inside of the drawer was Kenny's log." Penny said. "Not just that, but it was bloodstained, meaning that it was in fact the murder weapon."

Unbeknownst to Penny, Mary was outside of the room and saw everything through the window, so she knew that Penny had solved the riddle, she didn't know what was in the drawer though.

"Congratulations, one of you has solved the riddle! You may share your info or not share, it is up to you. Stating your cases will happen soon, so be ready for that." Wallace said, then walked away.

Penny got with Justin immediately, as he was the one she trusted the most.

"Okay, so here's what I found. Number one, it was a snake bite I found by the way. In the kitchen counters was a receipt for a snake order. I'm not sure where the snake was hidden, but maybe I can trade info with Mary or Quinton to find out, as I'm pretty sure it was in the kitchen somewhere. Lastly, in the parlor was the murder weapon. The killer hid it in a drawer, and it was Kenny's log. It had blood on it from his neck." Penny said.

"I'm so grateful to Penny right now." Justin said.

"Thank god she gave me all of this information, now I just have to put it all together."

"Let's go find Mary or Quinton now." The two went off, and ran into Mary soon.

"Hey Mary, if you tell us what you found at the last known, we'll tell you what I found for the riddle." Penny told Mary.

"Okay, here's what we found at the kitchen. So in the fridge, there was an Ekans. Also, the counter had blood on it, which I assume happened when Kenny tripped and broke his nose on it." Mary told them everything.

Penny then told Mary everything from the riddle, except the snake order part. She wanted to keep one thing for themselves just in case.

"Thank you Penny." Mary said, and then she went off to tell the rest of her team.

"I'm glad that I know this, and I'm pretty sure I know how this murder happened. I just gotta tell the rest of my group, and that way we're all spared." Mary said.

Shane and Blossom met up, trying to put a theory together. Both were extremely nervous, and at that point they just prayed they could figure out something that made semi sense.

"I'm absolutely terrified right now," Blossom said. "I know barely anything, and I hate to do this, but I'm gonna lie to Shane about what was found at the morgue. I have to ensure that I live to see daylight tomorrow, even if it means killing my own ally."

Tom was in his room, collecting and writing his thoughts down. He had come up with a case that made sense to him, he could only hope that it would be good enough to keep him spared.

"I don't know nearly as much as I wish I did. I'm not confident going into this state your case at all." Tom said. "Hopefully the Killer takes mercy on me and spares me, but if not, I hope it's fast and painless."

Quinton, Shawna and Missy were discussing together when Drake and Mary entered the room. Mary had just finished explaining to Drake what she had gathered and the two were filling in the other three now.

"We have all the pieces to the puzzle, now it's just about who puts together the best case." Missy said. "Either way, we're all spared and that's that, but I still would love to get the best case theory."

Everyone had enough time to come up with a plan, and now it was time to state their cases. Wallace had the maids lead each guest to the dining room to state their cases.

This was it, the determining factor on who lives, and who dies. Who is spared, and who is scared.

State Your Case: "Mary and Kenny had been scared. You already had your victim picked out though." Tom said.

"Kenny wasn't able to sleep. Thinking that maybe a midnight snack would help, Kenny went downstairs and entered the kitchen." Quinton recalled.

"Opening the fridge, Kenny was shocked to see his biggest fear, a snake in the fridge." said Drake.

"Lashing out, the Ekans that you had placed there after ordering it online, bit Kenny on the arm, causing him to stumble backwards and hit his head on the counter, breaking his nose." Justin stated.

"Kenny ran upstairs, dripping blood from his nose, getting in on nearly every step on his way to the hallway." Shawna said to the air.

"I don't really know what happened, but I think you tackled Kenny and slammed his skull on the floor until he died?" Shane guessed.

"Once Kenny got upstairs, you were hidden, waiting for him." said Blossom.

"He got to the middle of the hallway, all the while bleeding from his nose." Missy said.

"Sneaking up on him, you swung his own log and hit him in the neck, snapping his cervical spine, killing him instantly." Mary stated.

"He fell to the floor, the blood pooling underneath his neck. The log had left wood shavings not only on his neck wound, but in the pool of blood too. Lastly, you hid his log in the parlor in a drawer." Finished Penny.

"Mary, you're sweet and shy act doesn't fool me one bit." accused Tom.

"Stop being such a psychopath, Blossom." Shane said.

"Quinton, this was another excellent murder, but I still know you did it." Penny said confidently.

"Even though I'm beginning to really like you, I know you're the killer Missy." Shawna sighed.

"I was wrong about Kenny being the killer, but this time I know you're whodunnit, Missy." Mary accused.

"As they always say, keep your friends close but your enemies closer, Penny." Justin said with a smirk.

"Drake, you're gonna get caught soon." Blossom said.

"Blossom, girl you're sneaky but not enough to fool me." Missy stated.

"Missy, please stop ending innocent lives already." Drake begged.

"We're working together, but that doesn't mean you fool me, Shawna." Quinton grinned.

The guests were sitting at the dinner table, eating or conversing while they waited for Wallace to arrive. Unlike last night, most of them were able to eat either due to wanting to enjoy their last meal, or because they were confident that they were spared.

"I see you are all in higher spirits today," Wallace commented. "Hopefully the news I have for one of you makes your day even better."

Everyone at the table turned their eyes to Wallace, anxious to see who got the best case theory tonight.

Some felt confident that it was them, and you could tell based on their attitudes and body language.

"Congratulations Justin!" Wallace said with gusto, shocking a certain group of five that thought they had it in the bag. "You are the MVP of today, and have put together the most solid theory of how I, the Killer pulled off this banging murder. You are spared. As for the rest of you, Wallace will fill you in on the details you didn't quite hit figure out smashingly."

"Poor little Kenny sealed his fate long before he even got the scared milkshake. By isolating himself and giving up, he all but ensured he would be the next to go. Unable to fall asleep, Kenny decided to go for a midnight snack. Unbeknownst to him, waiting in the fridge was something that wanted him as a snack. Earlier, I had ordered an Ekans to be delivered to the manor, knowing that Kenny had an irrational fear of anything with scales and fangs. I placed that Ekans in the fridge, so when Kenny opened the fridge, the starved serpent bit his arm. Kenny, absolutely terrified for his life, slammed the fridge shut, knocking off some of the magnets on the fridge which our two investigators missed. Stumbling backwards, Kenny slammed his nose against the counter, breaking it and leaving a bloodstain on the edge. He made a run for it, nosebleeding and all upstairs to what he thought was safety. Dripping blood the entire way up, Kenny ran up the stairs, and made it to the middle of the hallway, where I was lying in wait like a snake. Striking faster than an Arbok, I bashed him on the neck with his own log, which left wood chippings on the wound. This wound snapped his cervical spine, killing him almost instantly. He fell to the floor, leaving a pool of blood under him, which also had wood chippings in it too. Lastly, I went to the parlor and hid his bloody log in a drawer.

Sneakier than a snake,

Your Killer."

The houseguests were all displaying various emotions. Some were shocked at the cruelty of the murder, some were pissed that they didn't get all of that correct, some were smiling because they knew they were spared and some were absolutely terrified due to how off they were with their theory.

"The Killer has one more thing for you all." Wallace passed out little envelopes addressed to the guests. "Inside of those envelopes are your fates. I'll call you each one by one to open your sealed fate. Remember, two or more people will be scared."

"Mary, if you may start us off." Wallace told the Mareep.

Mary opened the letter and sighed. She turned it around for all of the others to see, smiling wide.

SPARED

"Last night I was scared, and now I'm spared." Mary said. "You don't know how grateful I am right now. I feel like a new woman."

"Missy, it's your turn." Wallace said.

"Hold your horses, Wallace." Missy took a bite out of her meal. "Alright, here goes nothing." She opened her letter and showed the contents of her card, grinning.

SPARED

"Quinton, it's your turn." Wallace informed the Quilava.

"Alright." Quinton quickly opened his card and showed the table what they expected.

SPARED

"Its a bit bittersweet to be spared, even though I didn't get the best case this time, I know I'll get it tomorrow." Quinton said confidently.

"Shane, it's your turn." Wallace said to the shaking Snover.

"Do I have to?" Shane said, trying to to cry.

"Yes, you do." Wallace told Shane.

Shane opened his card and started to sob. He laid his head on the table and let the card fall.

SCARED

"Seeing Shane have the scared card is really sad." Blossom said. "I know that if he's scared, what's stopping me from being scared too?"

"Aw, Shane..." Justin said, sad to see his friend get scared.

"Penny, it's your turn." Wallace said.

Penny didn't waste time, she just opened her envelope, already knowing what was in it.

SPARED

"Good job, Penny." Mary congratulated the Lurantis.

"Thank you, Mary." Penny smiled at Mary.

"Penny is spared and I'm stoked." Justin said. "She's the person I'm closest with in the game, and we're both still alive to see another day."

"Drake, it's your turn." Wallace said.

"Here goes nothing," Drake ripped open his card and saw the words he wanted to see.

SPARED

"Being spared along with Mary is amazing!" Drake cheered. "We're both getting better at the game, and we might be able to actually make it to the end!"

"Shawna, your turn." Wallace looked over at the Clefable.

Shawna opened her card with a smile, already knowing that she was safe.

SPARED

"As it should be." Shawna stated, a little arrogantly.

This left two people who hadn't opened their cards, the two people who were the most scared at the table. Everyone looked over at Blossom and Tom, curious as to who was spared and who was scared.

"Blossom, why don't you open yours." Wallace said.

"I don't want to, ugh." Blossom opened her card, shocked at the words on it.

SPARED

"Thank Arceus!" Blossom laughed in relief.

"Of course you're spared, you snake." Shane spat, words dripping with venom.

"Am I surprised that Blossom is spared?" Shane asked. "Not at all. She's the killer after all, and she lied to my face about everything, even though we were allies. If I do end up surviving, I'm making sure she goes down." Shane promised.

"Woah! Don't be mad that I'm spared and you're not." Blossom giggled. "It's a game, Shane. You would of done the same thing if you were in my shoes."

"Except I wouldn't of because I have standards, unlike you." Shane glared.

Tensions rising, Tom opened his card already knowing what was on it.

"Well, shit." Tom cursed, frustrated with himself.

SCARED

"Being scared is the worst." Tom said. "I'm not ready to die, I have so much fight left in me. If I'm spared tonight, I'm going to work so much harder than before, that's a fact."

"Well houseguests, one of you will not live to see the morning. Good luck you two, try to get some sleep." Wallace walked out of the room, leaving the guests in their thoughts and terrors.

Shane's Room:

"I'm terrified right now. Every little sound in the night scares me, and I don't think I can get any sleep tonight." Shane shuddered, jumping at another bump in the night.

"If I end up living tonight, I'm going to make sure Blossom gets her karma." Shane said with conviction.

"Even if I die, I feel like Blossom is gonna get what's coming to her, whether it be death, or jail." Shane said.

Shane walked around his room, locking the doors and closing the windows.

Tom's Room:

"I'm not ready to die." Tom stated. He was sitting on his bed, staring at the door.

"I can't fall asleep, I'm way too strung." Tom started writing in his notepad, hoping it would relax him.

"Please, if you're listening, take Shane's life, not mine." Tom begged.

"I promise I'll do much better and be a worthy adversary if you spare me, just let me make it through the night." Tom pleaded, before shutting his curtains.

The killer had made their choice on who to kill, and they were moving about, ready to murder the next victim. This next murder will stump the guests, they were sure of it. It's time to see who the real competitors are, and who the weak links are.

6:53 AM

"What in the world?" shouted Justin, shocked by the water that flooded out of the parlor when he opened the door.

"Oh my goodness, who's that?" Penny said right next to him, pointing at the body that was floating in the water.

"Wallace, help!" Justin shouted, while the rest of the houseguests were starting to wake up due to the commotion coming from downstairs.

"Huh? What's going on?" asked Tom, coming downstairs from his room. Penny and Justin ran over to hug him, glad that he was alive.

By that point, everyone had gathered downstairs, where they saw Shane's soaking wet body laying on the floor.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Killer has struck again." Wallace announced.

And that's it! This took me a while to write because of school, exams and EOCs but it's done. I had a little bit of trouble thinking of the murder, but once I got that done it was pretty easy to write the rest. I hope you enjoyed this. Shane is dead now, but who will be next? Also, I switched the format up a bit and added confessionals now, and I think I'm gonna keep it like that too. I hope that's more enjoyable for you guys, but if you want me to go back to the original format just let me know. Reviews are appreciated, and I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
