"CEILLLLLLLLLL!" Cried a voice that echoed through the halls of the manor.
"Oh no." You herd the blonde haired blue eyed chief sigh. "It seems our master's fiancé is here."
"Now now Bard. That is no way to speak about the young lady Elizabeth." Sebastian told him as the chief dressed all in white with googles hanging around his neck placed a cigerate within his mouth. "Its a good thing me and lady (L/N) here made such a lot of food. With that I thank you Milady."
Sebastian turned and bowed to you as you told him it was no problem. You felt it almost as paying him back for helping you out in the garden even if it was something of your own doing from memories. The making of the picnic helped take your mind from it not wanting to linger on such a bad memory. "Lets go Milady we should greet Lady Elizabeth." Sebastian told you after quickly having finished of the packing of the picnic.
He headed on ahead as you where dumfounded along with Bard to see how fast he was able to pack it, but remembering his trait it knocked you back to reality quicker then Bard, so you followed Sebastian out. You both headed over and towards Ciel's study where a high pitched voice was talking about different plans with such enthusiasm you wondered how Ciel coped with such a girl considering his personality is usually a little glum. Sebastian knocked on the study door and waited for his master's reply before opening it for you to step in first. Upon doing so a screech made you freeze to your spot as a blonde hair girl with it tried into pig tails with a red hair band hugged you. Her red dress with a pink underdress flowed with her swift movements along with the trail ends of the pink bow she had tied on her back. "You poor thing! Ciel has told me everything about you!" Elizabeth cried as she hugged you tightly.
You felt your body getting squeezed under the girls grip and the air along with it. For a young lady she had such a great amount of strength.
"Milady Elizabeth please be careful with Lady (L/N) she is still on her recovery and feeling a little fragile." Sebastian bowed to the girl as she withdrew from you.
"Oh I am sorry, I did not hurt you did I?" Her voice a little saddened as you also saw the sorry in her green eyes you could not help but forgive her.
"No you didn't please do not worry to much about it. Its a pleasure to meet you Lady Elizabeth." You curtseyed a little feeling it only right, but she took you by the hand and pulled you over to where Ciel was sat behind his desk.
"Please call me Lizzy. Ciellllll!" She told you and called over to Ciel as she dragged you forward. "You must simply let me take her shopping."
"Out of the question!" Ciel's expression did not change from his usual stern one. "I am sorry Lizzy but allowing (F/N) out the manor is something of a danger. I imagine if she left the grounds again her kidnappers could find her again."
"You can't keep her locked up here Ciel she won't want to always stay here. I know your doing your best to help but PLEASE! Let me take her out! We will stick to well crowed areas so that its harder to spot her. Also why don't you and Sebastian come along it will be like a fun trip!" Lizzy exclaimed getting more and more excited with each high pitched word that came from her mouth and looking over at Ciel you could see he did not like the idea, but was having a hard time at turning her down.
"Fine! But we stick to areas I say are ok to go by and we will not be spending long. The longer we are out the more the risk will grow." He sighed seeing he had hardily no authority in turning down a request from her. "Sebastian prepare us a carriage."
"Yes my Lord." Sebastian bowed before exiting to make ready a carriage for your shopping trip.
"I know lets get you something nice for the picnic (f/n)" Lizzy squeaked out.
The picnic you and Sebastian had prepared came up during a conversation in the carriage and Elizabeth saw it as an adorable idea and decided she would join in. You already had to post-pone the picnic for a little while because Sebastian had not planned the trip into the city. You where worried as it had only been a few days since you had arrived at the manor and in that time you had feared about them coming back even if you gave it no second thought you felt safe around the manor despite recent events. At least these events did not want you dead despite how horrible they were. Elizabeth was now dragging you around the shopping district of the city while you where closely followed by Ciel and Sebastian. Darting in and out of many shops that Elizabeth saw adorable looking clothing in.
"This is my favourite shop (F/N) maybe we could find you something in here!" She said pulling you into a cute looking dress store. The store was full of a verity of dresses and accessories to match and before long Elizabeth had your arms full of different dresses and accessories. Pushing you in to a dressing room you tried on the different dresses with Elizabeth's help. You stepped out each time having Ciel and Sebastian speak there thoughts on the dresses Elizabeth chose for you. They spoke very little and seemed very bored about being there until...
"That looks great on you Lady (F/N)." Sebastian spoke up first. "The saying is true feathers do make fine birds."
"I would have to agree with my butler there." Ciel simply said the only smile resonating from Sebastian as Lizzy stepped out behind you.
"Ciel! Can't you be a bit more positive? After all she does look adorable!" Lizzy squeaked as she hugged you more gently this time.
You noticed Sebastian's mind change threw his eyes as he glanced sideways for a moment between some racks before back on you and Lizzy. He just smiled seeing your eyes set on him, but then you felt some eyes not from them but from were Sebastian had just glanced. It took every inch of you not to look over because surely if it was dangerous Sebastian would have at least made a move to stop it. Unless he did not want to panic anyone. The slight warning gaze in his eyes confirmed that. Before you knew it you where sat back in the carriage after paying for all the things Lizzy had brought for you her and even Ciel. During this carriage ride Lizzy demanded to know you better asking about your past and with that you earned watchful eyes of Ciel, as though he was ready to intervene in anything you may say wrong. With that in mind you recalled your fake past about how your house burnt to the ground and your parents along with it.
"Ciel it sounds very much..." Lizzy started to say but Ciel hushed her.
"Yes, but hers was over 10 years ago now and it was not just her house but most of the village as well. I did some more research into it but no one knows why it happened just that it took many lives that day." Ciel explained as Lizzy looked down at the carriage floor sad for you, but then suddenly perked up.
"I KNOW! Lets have a ball! That way (F/N) can meet lots of new people and gain new friends." Lizzy cheered.
"I'm not sure..." Ciel started but was cut of.
"Come on Ciel! I am sure she would love it. After all what girl does not love a good ball? It does not have to be tonight then how about tomorrow?" Lizzy pleaded as you could see Ciel very irritated by it.
"Lizzy it will be ok. I won't be residing here for much longer." You hoped to throw Elizabeth off to stop her from bothering Ciel but you earned a glance from both of them. "After all I can't always keep taking off Ciel like this my presence is just a hindrance I am sure of it."
"Don't say that (F/N), Ciel does not mind one bit! Do you Ciel?" Lizzy turned to Ciel her big emerald eyes almost pleading him which made him sigh and glance out the window.
"Sebastian be sure to send out the invites and prepare for the ball tomorrow night." Ciel ordered Sebastian who was up on the front driving the carriage just like he had been on the way in.
"Yes my lord." You could hear his voice resonate from behind your seat since you sat with your back to the drivers seat.
"Then its sorted!" Lizzy cheered.
Back at the manor Lizzy and you got changed with help of Mey-rin. Un-luckily this time you where laced into a corset by Lizzy's moaning you gave in, but you where not prepared for the pain it gave. You where sure most of the manor would have known that now. Along with that Lizzy had seen the mark on your back and you had to explain in a lie that it was something your former work place had given you as a sign that you belonged to them, so you could not go off getting another job. Lizzy pitied you but not enough to stop the corset from constricting you. Barely able to breath and pain from your mark and soreness of bruises you where unaware that it would make the job of moving even the slightest bit a uncomfortable task. Somehow in record timing they had fixed one of your new dresses on you and had finished up your make-up and hair. You where now sat how Lizzy taught you on a blanket outside in lovely sunny weather. You where sure it was a little past the time in what Sebastian had in mind to serve the picnic but as soon as Ciel arrived sitting with you both he had brought out the picnic basket you had prepped earlier together. The corset was a pain to eat lunch in but you continued on to the end. In fact you sort of rushed your food which your where sure that it earned you a few eyebrow raises. "Seems you are quite enjoying the food we had prepared this morning lady (F/N)." Sebastian smiled as Ciel just scoffed and Lizzy smiled towards you.
"Yes well thank you Sebastian but I think I may head back to my room." You had had enough of the corset tight on your still pain stricken body.
Standing up you walked from the garden and once inside you hurried as fast as you could back to your room. Slamming the door you quickly removed the dress and unknowingly shredded the corset beneath it. Falling to pieces on the floor you replaced the dress and slumped forward on your bed breathing erratic from your dash. Not long after a knock echoed at the door. You pulled yourself up to sit on the bed and calmed your breathing down before allowing whoever it was to enter. You took a guess at to who it was and you where quite correct.
"Is everything ok miss (f/n)?" Sebastian said seeing you trying to recover your normal breathing and looking down at the ripped corset which seemed to have been shredded to pieces. "Seems that's a bit unrepairable."
He closed the door behind him as he stepped over the corset and stopped just in front of you. Only now where you aware of the corset looking down at your hands you could see your nails had grown around your fingers and came out pointed like claws. Shortly after they did become claws along with some of your skin turning pale before turning back to your regular hands.
"So this is what the higher end of society is like... How do they cope with those things?" Your breath slowly becoming steady again. "I guess its something they just get use to."
"Answering your own questions now?" Sebastian stated.
"The only way anything will get answered around here." You explained lying down and rolling over on the bed to face your back to him. "After all who was that earlier in the shop? and before you ask the one you glanced at."
"I assure you ha..." Sebastian started but you cut him of rolling back around and sitting back up.
"SEE! Always avoiding questions that matter!" You snapped.
"I did not know such things bothered you so much (F/N)." Sebastian remained with a frim processional look. "I don't want to go to that ball either." You told him straight.
"As a guest of my master you mus..." You interrupted him again.
"I don't CARE!" You started to become agitated with the things going on around you. People not explaining properly or pains from your dragon forum once again adjusting itself from being so dormant for so long. You also still felt sore from the assault a few days ago.
"Leave me alone!" You told him before turning back around and lying down once again.
"This time I will but that is no manner for any lady to take. I will protect and serve to my master's orders even if your just having a bad day. That includes stopping you from destroying his reputation. I admit your race is interesting in deed and it would be shame if I had to put an end to you. After all you are quite the specimen and I will have such a tasty meal when devouring your soul. I don't suppose you will be coming out of you room any time soon. If that is the case dinner will be a bit later this afternoon due to my master having to attend to a situation, so dinner will be served at 6:32pm." You could not see it but he gave a bow and left your room.
You felt rude to ignore him like that and he was right you where getting mad over something so little. Maybe you were being obnoxious or maybe they were protecting you? Whatever the reason you knew you where safe as long as that demon and his dinner where around, or that's what you thought as your mind wandered and soon enough dragged you to the dream plains.
"(F/N)...(F/N)...(F/N)..." Darkness and that voice. "They are coming!"
You awoke and you knew you had over slept and properly more then likely had missed dinner, but you got up made yourself presentable before heading out. You slowly stepped threw the corridors hearing a grand clock striking 8pm and as soon as it hit the last strike a door gently opened as you passed by it. You turned seeing a low yellowish light being admitted from the room. You turned back heading towards it opening it up you realized it was the young masters study. Knocking at the door and no reply came so you quietly stepped in. The room was lit just enough for documents to be read and sorted. You could see that is what Ciel must have been doing since papers lined his desk. You stepped up to the desk scanning over the papers to which one with the Queen's mark on caught your eye, so you picked it up and started to read. It explained to Ciel about the roll he must play in bring down these 'knights' without letting it known that the Queen had ordered their downfall. It also talked about a young half light dragon that had been missing for sometime and the Queen had reasons to believe the Knights where behind the half dragon's disappearance. She was worried because she knew the master of the young Halfling and she paid great respect for all the help she received from the master. She wanted to make sure the Halfling's safety was assured and asked of Ciel to look after them. Was this the letter Ciel was talking to you about the other day?
"I see your quite the troublesome little thing!" A voice you really did not want to hear right now echoed threw you.
"I... I..." Your tried to make an excuse as you turned around placing the paper on the desk to try make it seem like you read nothing.
"How adorable you are trying to cover yourself. Well you now know the importance we have of keeping you safe." Sebastian said to you as you tried to think of a way out. "Why did you come in here anyway?"
"I was just strolling and I thought I might pay Ciel a visit but he seems not to be here so if you would kindly..." You where cut of before you could finish.
"He is asleep the young master has a long day tomorrow and you too should be getting some rest but it seems you have awoken yourself by being asleep all afternoon... Maybe I could fix that." He said as a sly look crossed his face with a smirk creeping behind it as you backed up into the desk. "That and we will have to think about some punishment so that you don't go creeping again, but why did you want to see my master?"
"Oh just to tell him about the ball..." You said glad he had not come any closer to you but were dreading what he meant by 'punishment'.
"Still not attending? Why is that? I feel its just more then not wanting to go. Is it because you can not dance my dear? There is little anyone knows about you but I guess dancing was not part of your master's training." Sebastian's grin turned into a sly smile and he was right you had no idea.
"I can dance just fine thank you!" You told him hoping to avoid a confrontation with him, but one of his hands where suddenly in front of you.
"Then instead of a punishment, dance with me?" He said as you gulped lifting your hand to place on his but then pulling away at the last moment. "As I thought."
"I can! I just don't want to dance with you." You moved to the side and passed around him to the door seeing he had closed it behind him you reached for the handle.
You where suddenly grabbed and pulled back confused in the moment he managed to pull you close and lock you so you where ready for a dance. You looked up to see his still smug look as you tried to wrench away from him but with no luck, he had hold of you tight. You knew from that point you had no escape and you where going to learn to dance even if you where unwilling. To your surprise time flew by, as two hours had gone out the window while you where learning to dance. Although the practise did not go perfectly at first stepping on his toes and 'accidently' kicking him every so often. After those two hour you where in almost perfect sync. Now you could not think up another reason to say why you where not going, as he bid you a good night and left you alone in the office dumb struck.
You stayed in your room most of the day trying to avoid the demon after your night's encounter, you where expecting him at any time now, but he never came not even to tell you about meals. Was he avoiding you too, or even being courteous? It was well in the afternoon when a knock came at your door assuming it was Sebastian you were reluctant to allow them in, but after a third waiting knock came a voice.
"(F/N) you in there? Are you alright?" You could hear the squeaky voice of the master fiancé... Lizzy. "Oh yes! Come in please. Sorry but I kind of over slept a little." You apologized to the girl.
"Its alright (F/N) Sebastian explained you where not feeling to well." Lizzy seemed a little glum. "I hope you are alright."
"I am fine Lizzy I feel much better. Thank you for your concern and coming to visit me, but about the ball..." You started but you where cut off by a gleam in her eyes and her excited voice spring to life.
"You are feeling better? So you can attended?" You gave a sigh seeing there was no escape out of it now just like yesterday she dragged you out of the bed. "It won't be long now, so lets get you all dressed up first!"
You could not help but go along with it, so she dressed you in a nice (F/C) dress with matching accessories and of course the corset. It felt better then yesterday but it still took the air from your lungs making it harder to do things. She did your hair and helped you with some lovely shoes to match up with your dress. It was soon her turn and you watched as Mey-rin dressed her up in a pleasant soft pink dress, corset, accessories and shoes.
"You both looking stunning you do!" Mey-rin complimented as your cheeks turned red a bit thinking about how beautiful Lizzy had made you.
Snapped from your thoughts by Lizzy taking you by your hand and guiding you out the room. To your surprise Ciel and Sebastian were stood there. Ciel had dressed so finely in a blue out fit that made him look so mature and smart. Sebastian was stood beside him as he held an arm out to Lizzy ready to escort her. You could see she was ready to explode and jump Ciel but she held her calm and hooked her arm threw Ciel's. Ciel escorted her of as you stood there watching them. Shortly after you felt a presence at your side. "Would you mind if I escorted you to the ball young lady? You look simply stunning tonight." Sebastian complimented you as you felt your cheeks tint, but you looked down at his arm and linked yours threw it.
"Sebastian... I apologize for yesterday it was un-lady like of me you where right." Your saddened voice apologized to him and even though you felt his eyes piercing your form you still hung your head.
"(F/N) Look at me." He told you but you declined only to have a white gloved finger tilt your chin up so your eyes met his.
You instantly melted within his eyes and your could not shift your gaze from his crimson red ones. No matter how much you tried you where stuck, hypnotised.
"You do not need to worry on such trifling matters I am glad you had a change of heart about the ball. It would have been a shame if no one could see your beauty in that magnificent dress. Although I feel inclined to keep this image to myself." You felt his finger stroke your chin but you still could not move, as he was playing you and you knew it, but for some reason you could not decline him. "Well its quite the shame I can not, so maybe a dance later my dear. Lets get going otherwise it will end without you."
Sebastian escorted you to the ball unaware of yourself linking your arm threw his like he really did have you under his spell. The ball was quite busy with so many high and powerful people dancing with ladies of the same calibre. Even Ciel seemed to be mingling something you never expected from the child Earl, but you did not see your place and without thought felt your feet stepping backwards on you, as Sebastian had come to stop at the top of some grand stairs.
"Is there a problem young mistress?" He went formal mode once again which caused you to snap from an intense glare you had over the ball.
"No... Everything is alright." You stuttered a bit as Sebastian pulled you on down the stairs into the sea of chattering people.
You unhooked your arm from his as he gave you a bow.
"I am afraid I have to attend to matters, but please do enjoy your time mistress." Sebastian gave a warm smile before leaving you alone.
"How can something so beautiful be so nervous?" A man approached you as soon as Sebastian had left.
You looked his way after you had stared after Sebastian hoping he would not leave, but he had anyway leaving you with a smartly dressed man. His suit was a fine deep blue with a white ruffled scarf thing around his neck. Short dark brown hair lined his head while his blue eyes where fixed upon you with a small smile which vaguely said 'hello'. Worried on what to say next you could feel butterflies fill in your stomach making you too nervous to even move. "Maybe a dance will help to cure that?" He said holding a hand out to you. "After all it is common courteous to accept."
You nodded your head slightly before taking his hand. After all he was right it was courtesy to accept and you did not want to put a bad mark to Ciel's name. He took you to the dance floor slightly of to the side and put his hand around your waste and took hold of your other extending your arms as you placed a your other hand on his shoulder. The music was sweet and his was gaze upon you as he swept you around the room. He was amazing at leading you and you felt eyes upon you both, so yours started to wander from his.
"No you must keep your eyes on your partner my dear. Did no one ever teach you that?" In fact Sebastian made that all to clear but it made you blush in embarrassment just thinking about it. "Is everything all right my dear?"
"Yes everything is." You gave him a smile.
"That's the first honest smile I have seen of you this evening and it suits you so well." He said in flattery and so you knew something was up. "Tell me milady how long have you been at this manor for in the presence of the Earl?"
"Not long at all." You told him but confused to why he asked you that. "Why do you ask?"
"It just seems odd why such a beauty such as yourself is residing with a young Earl." He was still smiling and you started to feel a bit uneasy but not because of him... Why now? "Why not come and accompany me? It will be refreshing to have such a wonderful lady in my home again. Ever since my parents and fiancé died I have been so alone, so will you not milady?"
So many questions ran through you head as to why he was asking that so suddenly. Why would someone so rich be so lonely? Surely he had everything he wanted. So many questions flying threw brought a pain to your head for some reason you felt like you knew the man but from where? Why could you not put a...
"Sorry but one dance per lady." A recognisable voice had saved you from the man's grip. "If you don't mind milady I would love this dance."
"Sebastian..." You where stunned could he just pull you away like that? After all he was the butler.
"Don't give anymore thought on it lady. Its just me and you allow me to lead you and just relax enjoy the music." Sebastian took you as far from the man as he could across the floor and his face seemed none to impressed.
"Is everything alright?" You asked looking up at him.
His eyes had not been on yours and had been looking around, but he brought his eyes to meet yours and once again that hypnotic gaze hit yours. He spun you around and brought you in close, so close that you could feel his breath. His expression had his signature smile as if it was all an act and it only got wider after seeing your face so shocked at the sudden closeness. "If I am truthful I was a bit worried if you fall for a man at the ball he may take you from my grasp and that sweet soul would be lost to me. I can't have a filthily man ruin it for me. After all you will be mine, all of you! I won't spare even an inch." You had to admit it always freaked you out when he talked or in this case whispered to you about being his, once again eyes where on you and him followed by whispers. "They think we are so in sync that its such a wonderful sight they can't stop themselves from staring. Maybe we do belong together maybe our souls are intertwined. Just maybe this was fated. That is if such a thing was true, but like them I can not keep my eyes of such beauty."
"Sebastian please don't..." You begged him softly. "How is your head feeling?" He asked with his grin now that of his teasing smirk and you realised what he had done as he released you from his grip. "If you wish milady I will bring you a drink you seem a little flushed."
He was right but how could you not be? You shook it from your mind. Did he just do that to stop your headache and if so how did he know about it anyway... You could see his smile returned professional.
"Yes please Sebastian." You said stunned but he bowed and walked away, as you decided you needed some fresh air.
Walking up the stairs you had come down and out on to a canopy in one of the nearest rooms. The strict fresh air was a delight to your mind. You tried to think about the man in the ballroom but it only started to pain your head again, so you quickly wiped the slate clean thinking of your dance with the butler. Looking out across the beautiful garden under the moonlight.
"So this is where you are!" You turned seeing the man from the ballroom stood there, as pain pricked at your head again. "I will be surely letting the Earl know of his butler's manners."
"Who are you?" You asked, as you placed a hand on your head trying to contain the pain.
"My sweet I am Lord George have you not herd of me?" He asked seeming a bit disappointed, and you shook your head. "Well seems I may have to make a good impression of myself."
He got closer and you stepped backwards and this happened till you felt yourself fall backwards over the banister you forgot was behind you, but something caught you and pulled you back up.
"Lady (F/N) you could have really hurt yourself, but I am glad your safe." He smiled as your heart raced with shock from the sudden almost fall. "Just relax I will not do anything indecent to you. In fact I have no interest in such beasts."
"What?" You said in shock trying to pull yourself away but it was too late you felt a small sharp prick in your lower side and your strength drain from your body. You could not move you could not speak and you knew you where in trouble. He had injected you with something that had paralyzed your body so you could still see what was happening. He lifted you up like a bride resting your head on his shoulder as he carried you back in threw the building and out a back door to a car awaiting. From inside you her screams and a howling.
"Seems like your butler won't interrupt us this time. The knights finally have their target back, so lets get out of here lads." He said as he shoved you in the back seat if the car and got in along side. Once the door was shut the car sped off.
"I hope you enjoyed that little freedom, as its time for your punishment. I can not just simply having you running away now can I. Your such a dangerous beast what would happen if I let you live how you wanted? So many would die, so many would suffer. You see I am doing it for the good of man kind and at least all you can do is co-operate but no you would rather join in making them suffer." The man's voice was harsh in tone and his look were filled with what look like hatred and then a shooting pain shot threw your head and you remembered. "Finally you know who I am now!"
The person before you was part of the knights. NO! He was their leader.
