Chapter 03 A First Kiss
Quanktumspirit: "Here is the third tale, please review again."
"So you do love Dag?" Jack ask smiling brightly.
"I never said that," Norb answer in his defense, feeling his cheeks flush.
Jack snorted playfully smirking at Norb, "Don't deny you love him the more you deny it the more you'll fall for him."
Jack began to yawn out rubbing his tired eye lids. Norb's ears perked up in confusing.
"Hu? What do you mean by that?" Norb ask confused, looking straight into Jack's face, giving him his full attention.
"If you keep denying that your in love with Dag the stronger your feelings will grow for Daggett, until you can't hold your emotion in anymore and you confess to Dag before you can stop yourself,...or you'll kiss him...trust me I know,"Jack said blushing bright red in embarrassment.
Norb's flush deeply feeling his heart beat faster and faster.
"So you loved another male before and you kiss him before you could stop yourself and all Because you keep denying it?"Norb ask shocked feeling his face brighten redder in embarrassment.
Jack stared down at the floor bitting his lip in frustration feeling his cheeks blush redder as he inhale sharply, and slowly exhales as a smile grows across his face.
"Yes,...but not a MALE, I'M NOT GAY!"Jack loudly snapped the last part out in annoyance.
Jack calmed himself down very quickly looking at the yahoo clock on the wall. The clock was reading 5:30 AM in the morning. Jack began to wonder why Norb and him were up so early in the morning.
"Why are we up so early in the morning anyway?" Jack ask confused rubbing his eyes lids again.
Norb eyes went wide as he rapidly blinked a few times staring at Jack in disbelieve. For not even knowing what special day this was.
"It's Valentine's Day...but this one is going to be different for me and Dag," Norb answered mostly to himself feeling his cheeks heat up.
"Yea I know, but you still didn't answer me fully, why are we up so early on Valentines Day?" Jack ask smirking.
"I...was going to make Daggy wag breakfast for our first thing today for Valentine's Day," Norb softly whispered smiling.
Jack face brighten in excitement Knowing this is the perfect chance to tease Norb.
"Awwww you found a cute nick name For Dag, Daggy wag that's so sweet, to call your soon to be future Boyfriend," Jack squeaked in a high pitch voice and in a mocking tone, elbowing Norb playfully on the ribs.
"Ok, ok stop it," Norb snapped pushing Jack's elbow away from him. Flushing redder.
"So what kind of breakfast you making for your Daggy Wag?" Jack ask making a loud snort in the progress.
Norb glares at Jack the 'Your pushing your Luck' kind of glare. While flushing even redder.
"If you must know, it's 5 waffles, 4 bacon strips, 3 eggs, 2 set of toast, half the plat full of hash browns, and 4 sausage links," Norb stated feeling proud of himself. That he made all that food in a short time.
Jack expression only grew brighter, knowing Norb of course is to scared to bring the food up to Dag. Smirking wider Jack gives Norb the little push.
"Now go take it to sleeping beauty, breakfast in bed, your future boyfriend will flip in joy seeing all that food made just for him...unless your too scared to take it to him," Jack said grinning.
Norb glared at Jack, "Ha, you wish that I was too scared."
Norb smirks looking at the clock as it read 6:45AM in the morning. As he began to walk up the stairs holding the big plate of breakfast in his paws.
Jack stood there amused to how easy it was to trick Norb into taking the breakfast to Dag, Norb began to slowly walk up to the bunked canoe beds seeing Dag his younger twin brother sleeping soundly in Norb's bed holding his teddy bear tight.
Norb gazed down at his brother smiling seeing him sleeping so peaceful in his bed. Norb set the big plate down on his side. Gently grabbing Dag's shoulders shaking him awake.
"Dag...Daggy wag time to get up," Norb softly whispers into Dag's ear.
Dag snorted in his sleep turning to the big plate that held all the yummy food as Dag's started snorting at the air.
"Oooo what's that?...WAFFLES," Dag shouted excitedly.
Dag's eyes shot wide open in excitement. Dag was about to burst out of the bed and downstairs to claim the yummy waffles until he saw Norb gazing down at him watching him sleep. As his excited expression turned into a Nervously one.
Dag lightly flushes becoming more nervous releasing How long has Norb been watching him sleep on Norb's bed, watching him dream happily Dag gazes at Norb and flushes redder. And yet Dag welcomes the idea of Norb watching Him sleep soundly. It made Dag feel safe. he expect that of course since he was head over heels for Norb.
"Norbie what are you doing?" Dag asked softly, rising up meeting with Norb's gaze.
Norb snapped out of his thoughts smiling brightly grabbing the big plate of food as he began to speak happily.
"Happy Valentine's Day Daggy wag," Norb smiles gently setting the plate down on Dag's lap.
Dag gasps as his eyes go wide looking at Norb in disbelieve.
"This can't all be for me," Dag said looking at Norb.
Norb's face brighten letting go of the plate.
"It is, I...feel bad about yesterday I really could have forgotten, we always spend Valentines Day together," Norb said sadly looking down.
Dag frowns glaring at Norb in frustration.
"I told you it's ok!" Dag snaps in a loud firm voice.
Dag's expression softens a bit, knowing he shouldn't be too hard on his brother, especially since he made him all this food, he was trying to make it up to him.
"I already forgave you, and for bringing that up you have to eat this big plate of yummy food with me," Dag said smirking.
Norb gazed at Dag shaking his head.
"Dag it's for you, I'm not eating your food," Norb said looking up gazing at Dag.
Dag expression darkens grinning at Norb.
"I will throw all this yummy smelling away unless you eat with me," Dag stated gazing at Norb waiting for Norb's response.
"Dag I..." Norb said, then suddenly re-closes his mouth seeing Dag's Dark death glare.
The kind (Shut up and eat or this will not be pretty) kind of glare. Norb sigh in defeat grabbing a fork. Dag's expression softens again grabbing a fork as they began to eat.
"Thank you," Dag smiles takings bite out of a sausage links.
Dag's eyes widen in delight tasting the delicious flavor in the sausage link.
"Oooooo, oh Wowers Norbie-Orbie this is so deli-cious," Dag said happily, swallowing the rest of his sausage link.
Norb's flushes deeply smiling to Dag's comment on his cooking.
"Thanks Daggy wag I'm glade you like it," Norb smiles.
In the afternoon 12:00 AM to be exact Dag was sitting on the couch, softly smiling to himself remembering this morning breakfast with his older twin brother. Jack enters the room seeing Dag's expression. And he began to start smirking.
Walking up to Dag Jack ask in a low voice. "You kiss him yet?"
Dag's snaps out of his trice and starts blushing bright red.
"No, no we haven't jet," Dag said disappointment in his voice.
Jack frowned in disappointment, starring down at the floor, knowing his plan isn't working. Jack inhales sharply then exhales knowing he has to take the risk for them.
"Alright faze 3 is a fail, but faze 4 should do the trick this time," Jack said smirking.
Dag's eyes widen in horror, knowing what Jack meant.
"NO, you can't tell him!" Dag shouts, grabbing Jack, starring him in the eyes.
"Who said I was?" Jack said smirking.
Dag blushes deeply looking away from Jack's gaze.
"I can't, I'm too scared," Dag softly whispers.
Jack's expression softens, grabbing Dag's chin Jack forcing Dag to look at him.
"I know, it's a very scary thing. But if you don't tell him,...you might lose him forever and I can't let that happen to you," Jack said smiling letting go of Dag's chin.
"What's faze 4?"Dag ask in a whisper.
Jack smirks widely grabbing a yahoo bottle.
"I can't say If I did then you would probably kill me," Jack said laughing out loud.
Dag's expression darkens giving Jack a glare, "It better not me dirty Jack!"
Jack's expression brightens more grinning at Dag.
"It's not dirty, but if faze four fails too then It will have to be dirty," Jack warns Dag grinning.
Dag gulps loudly flushing bright red in embarrassment.
"Why are you doing this anyway, Jack?" Dag ask flushing redder.
"Because you won't tell your feelings for Norb and you'll lose him forever...and I can't let that happen, you to are just perfect for each other"Jack answers smiling.
Dag's smile twisted into a nervously one when Norb enters the room with a disappointment expression.
"So...you don't have anyone expect for us to spend Valentines Day with?" Norb ask.
Jack frowns at Norb's question. Suddenly Jack's phone's beeps.
Jack looks at his phone and grins, then he stood up before saying, "No, I don't, but I'm needed back at home right away I'll see you guys soon."
Dag's expression saddens.
"But you just got I haven't seen you since preschool," Dag said gazing at Jack sadly.
Jack only grins widely. Daggert's eyes went wide in horror knowing that faze 4 is in action.
"I'm not leaving for long, about 8 houres, I'm going by helicopter," Jack said gazing back at Dag.
Jack wraps his paw around Dag and softly whispers, "Faze four is in motion, you have 8 hours to confess to Norb, and when I come back through that door and if I don't see your paws intertwined with Norb's then faze 5 will begin, and it won't be pretty I promise."
Jack grinned evile at Dag, Dag swallows sharply knowing Jack's serious. Dag nodes his head understanding completely.
Jack smiles gazing at Norb, "I'm sorry for the sudden news, I'll see you guy's later tonight, enjoy the rest of your Valentines Day."
Jack smirks winking at Norb. Before anyone could say another word Jack walked out the door. Dag gazed at Norb. His heart pounding feeling his blood pound rapidly into his ears.
"So, Norbie what are we going to do now?" Dag ask gazing into Norb's eyes.
Dag began to melt into Norb's gaze flushing redder. Norb flushed deeply in embarrassment.
"I don't know... the breakfast idea was all I had," Norb flushes redder more embarrassed.
Dag's eyes sparkled in excitement knowing what they could do.
"Remember our first Valentine's we were about a month old?" Dag ask gazing at Norb.
Norb snaps out of his thoughts Gazing back at Dag.
"Yeah, but it's kinda fuzzy," Norb said giving Dag his full attention.
"Anyway, mama gave us our first big bucket of chocolate, and we had a arm wrestle for it, winner takes all," Dag said grinning.
"Yeah," Norb gaze at Dag oddly having no idea where Dag is going with this.
"We could arm wrestle playfully, just for fun," Dag said lightly flushing.
"Ok, but let's make a deal then," Norb grins.
Dag gives Norb a questionable look knowing Norb must have something up his sleeve.
"Ok what's the deal?" Dag ask grinning having no idea what Norb has in stock for them.
"If I win I get anything I want from you, and if you win you'll get anything you want from me... so what do you want if you win?" Norb ask gazing nervously at Dag.
"I... I want to see your 'Secret room'," Dag said gazing at Norb.
"That's it," Norb smiles sighing in relief.
"No, I mean I want to see your most secreted room, the one you would never let anyone see, ever," Dag said lightly flushing.
Norb gasp, his eyes going wide in shock, "No you can't see that room."
"You said anything, so if I win you will show me that room," Dag said in a demanded voice.
"Fine... what do I get if I win?" Norb ask feeling his cheeks cool down back to their blonde colour.
Dag flushes brightly looking down at the floor, "Whatever you want, anything you want from me, or anything you want me to do."
Norb grins in delight, knowing he could have Dag do anything he wanted when he wins.
"Ok it's a deal," Norb smiles holding his paw.
Dag smirks back grabbing Norb's paw. They shake their paws together sealing their faith. Dag smirks grinning wickedly showing his bright white shark like teeth.
"So you ready to get your butt kicked?" Norb grins grabbing Dag's paw.
"Bring it on," Dag grins.
Norb and Dag began to arm wrestle, both beavers pushing hard as they could into each others paw but neither one barged, not even a little. They both began to get frustrated. Suddenly Dag had an idea and grinned, he pushed his face up to Norberts, softly licking his twins cheek.
Norb's eyes go wide in shock, flushing extremely red. Norb began to loosen up on his grip getting lost from the sudden affection Dag just gave him. Dag grins evilly, slamming his paw hard against Norb's paw as it falls on the table, he then smiles at his victory.
"HA, I WIN!" Dag shouts happy jumping up and down.
Norbs face burned red with anger, "That was low Dag, even for you."
Dag smirks wider, crossing his paws against his chest.
"So, and now you have to show me your most secret room," Dag shouted excitedly jumping up and down while rapidly clapping his paws, to get even more excited.
Norb flushes deeply but then grins widely as he had an idea.
"Fine, Dag but for cheating I get one thing from you too then," Norb said smirking.
"Ok, but I still get to see your most secret room," Dag said grinning.
Norb and Dag are now in front of a giant metal door with small dragon patterns all over it, the handle was made out of silver and represented two beaver teeth, 'Norberts secret Room' was written in bronze letters across it. Norb started to panick knowing if he showed Dag his most secret room, Dag would think he's a twisted messed up beaver in so many ways. And would never want to see Norbert again.
Dag gazed at Norb's expression and started to regret that he asked Norb to show him his most secret room in their entire dam.
"You don't have to show me if you don't want to and if it makes you so uncomfortable Norbie," Dag said softly whispering as he looked at his twin brother.
Norb gazed at Dag shocked knowing that Dag was so eager to find out what was behind the giant metal door. And now he would just walk away from it... for him. Dag would never do anything like this ever.
"Why?... Why would you change your mind now... you would never do anything like this... why me?" Norb asked in a whisper.
Dag gaze deeply into Norb's eyes softly smiling, "we promised each other every Valentine's Day, we would never force each other to do something we didn't want to do,... or trick each other."
Norb's heart skipped a beat. Remembering that they did promised each other that, but Norb just knew right there that it wasn't the reason why Dag would just walk away from Norbert's most secret room. Norb suddenly grab's Dag's shoulder, pushing Dag into the wall, he was gazing deeply into Dag's eyes.
Dag's own eyes went wide in shock. His heart begins to rapidly beat in shock, seeing his and Norb's faces were very close to each other, they were nearly kissing, they were that close. Dag's breathing becomes heavy feeling Norb's breath against his lips. Dag gazed deeply into Norb's eyes waiting for Norb to speak.
"Dag... I'm in love with you," Norb softly whispers, not taking his eyes of Dag's.
Dag's eyes went wider then they ever have in their whole life. Dag feels his heart began to tingle like it did exactly one year ago, but this time it was so much stronger. Before Dag could respond to Norb's confession Norb begins again.
"Dag, do you love me too, are you in love with me?" Norb asked gazing deeply into Dag's eyes.
Dag flushes deeply, gently wrapping his paws around Norb's neck, gazing deeper into Norb's eyes to give him the most honest answer he could ever muster.
"Yes... I do, I am in love with you," Dag softly smiles, whispering it into Norb's ear, whiles flushing deeper.
Norb stares down at the floor, letting go of Dag, "How do I know you truly love me? No one was ever truly in love with me, not even Treeflower."
Huge tears streamed out of his eyes, Daggert could see the deep sadness of his brother. Dag grabs Norb's chin forcing him to look at him back.
"Your wrong Norbie, I really do love you, I have been ever since you kissed my cheek, one year ago," Dag whispers smiling.
Norb gazes deeply into Dag's eyes, looking for any hesitation but finds none. Knowing Dag really does love him.
"Then give me my first kiss, if you do truly love me," Norb soflty whispers, gently wrapping his paws around Dag's midsection.
Dag flushes deeply, closing his eyes, knowing this is it. He was going to have his first kiss with the one he truly loves. Dag smiles closing the gap between them, giving Norb and him their first kiss. Norb's eyes widen flushing in shock, his younger twin brother, was actually kissing him. Eventually Norb closed his eyes tightening his grip around Dag kissing him back.
Dag's whole face flushes deeply, loving every single second of the taste of his brothers lips pressing against his own. Feeling Norbert kissing back, putting so much passion into his lips. Dag slowly pulls away gazing into Norb's eyes, his breath was just taken for a second or two and he was panting heavily.
"I love you Norbie," Dag whispers between pants.
Norb feels his heart glow warmly, loving the four words coming out of Dag's mouth.
"I love you too Daggy wag," Norb softly smiles, licking Dag's cheek.
Dag blushes deeply, smiling back at his brother, he hugged him tight, breathing in his lovely brothers scent.
"Can we go back to the dam? I want to talk... about this... but not here," Dag smiles licking Norb's cheek.
"So you really don't want to see my secret room then?" Norb asks shocked.
Dag smirks, grabbing Norb's paw, "Nah, I found something else, that I want more."
Both beaver brothers left the steal door behind them and were sitting now on their couch, gazing at each other. Both their faces were bright red as they remembered the kiss they shared only 5 minuets ago.
"So you really do love me, your not joking, right?" Norb asked in fear.
"No Norbie, I really do love you... I want you to be my boyfriend," Dag whispers the last part out, his face blushes deeper.
Norb's expression massively brightens, hugging Dag tight to his chest.
"I would love too, but only if your my boyfriend too," Norb smiles, licking Dag's face.
"As long as you hold me this close to your chest. I'll do anything for you," Dag whispers, softly pressing his lips against Norb's, sharing their second kiss.
