Naruto – The Kitsune Protector

I am glad that you guys are enjoying the stories that I have been making and I am also glad you are reading some that you might not have read before, anyways let's get to the new chapter of The Kitsune Protector.

This chapter won't have much to any action but will have lots of dialogue between Naruto and Kunou, with some communications with his peerage member and his wife Yasaka.

This is going to be my last update for 2018, I am travelling a lot for the Christmas holidays, and I won't be back and updating until late January to early February. I will still write chapters when I have the chance, but I won't upload. Sorry about that.

Volume 1, Chapter 4

Last Time

It was the end of the first day for Naruto, and he couldn't be happier, his final class was ruined because he had three massive perverts in his classroom and they always interrupted his speaking and asked stupid questions about Oppai. Something that irked Naruto greatly was the fact that one of the perverts, the bald one openly admitted that he wanted to mind rape a female, which left him sent to the principal's office in a jiffy, he fully explained to the perverts that he will threaten a suspension or even expulsion from the school if this behavior kept up. Of course, this made most, if not all the females in the class adore Naruto, not only with his ways of how he will teach the class, but with the fact that he will punish anything perverted he catches.

The only problem was, when he went out of the classroom for lunch, he and Kunou locked eyes and she didn't look that happy, judging by the cute pout he received, he knew he was going to get a talking to by the first-year student when he found her again, she was most likely waiting for him at the front gate.

As Naruto was packing his belongings, he was interrupted by a presence in the room, when he looked over to where it was, he was met with Zeoticus, wearing the same clothes from this morning, except now a little wrinkled.

"So... how was your first day?" Zeoticus asked with a small knowing look on his face and he crossed his arms and let a small smirk grace his face.

"It was... interesting to say the least." Naruto answered and continued packing some small things up from his desk and clearing for the cleaners to have an easier job.

"Really? From what I heard you have made quite the impression with the female students, whilst most of the males hate you? Care to explain?" Zeoticus asked playfully, he received a slight glare from Naruto in return.

"All I did was mention that if I caught more perverted acts coming from any of the males, and even the perverted females, then they will be punished, depending on the severity of it. This made most of the females become crazy with different rumors they started spreading around.

Zeoticus gave a small chuckle and proceeded to turn around and leave, but before he did, he got his hand out of his pocket and handed Naruto a small slip of paper, then left the room.

When Naruto opened the small slip, he was given an address, which he presumed was the place Sirzechs promised him from the misstep he took when having Naruto teach in an area so far away from Kyoto.

"Might as well face the wrath of Kunou now." Naruto said to himself, as he prepared for a Taxi to take them to the new house.

Naruto got up and made sure he didn't leave any belongings behind, then turned off the lights of the classroom, then closed the door, and exited towards the front gate.

Now

As Naruto made his way to the front gate, still in his disguise, he was met with Kunou speaking to some people who looked her year, some new friends that she made, mainly because no-one knew her or who she was.

As Naruto made his way closer, he noticed that the females that surrounded Kunou all left through the front gate and had their parents picked them up, it was then at that point where Kunou turned around on her heel and looked towards Naruto with her cheeks puffed out and she was giving him the quivering lip with teary eyes.

"Tou-sama! Why didn't you tell me you were going to teach here?" Kunou asked in a whiny voice as her lips and eyes continued to quiver, it didn't help that her vixen features were only seeable by Naruto, she truly did have the quivering fox technique down pat.

Naruto, unable to resist something that was extremely cute and coming from his surrogate daughter/mate, quickly scooped her up in a hug and gave her a little spin whilst he hugged her close, Naruto could feel her body warm up and she snuggled deeper into his body to keep the warmth there.

"I'm sorry Kunou, it was something that Sirzechs gave me literally earlier this morning of giving me this job because the fact that Fallen Angels are here, and they are planning something." Naruto said as he rubbed the back of Kunou's head and gave her a small peck to her head. If someone were to look at this, they would think this was a father and daughter moment, but to the people who knew of these two, knew it wasn't the case.

Kunou looked up at him with a concerned expression as he mentioned fallen angels, let it be known that Kunou doesn't like them, and not Devils that much either, the only one she enjoys being around is Sirzech's, mainly because he acts childish and throws devil standards out the window. "Tou-sama, is there going to be any scary things happening?" Kunou asked cutely as her adorable pout was replaced with a scared expression.

Naruto petted Kunou on the head which she didn't do anything to stop, except she leaned in to the touch. "No, I will deal with it, we also have to remember that this is a place controlled by devils as well." Naruto said as he lifted up Kunou with ease and put her on his relatively broad shoulders and gave her a ride on his muscular shoulders.

As they walked through the front gate, Naruto saw that his taxi that he booked was waiting in front of the school building. He set Kunou down on the ground and motioned for her to follow him, which Kunou did happily do.

As Naruto and Kunou went into the taxi, he gave the taxi driver the slip of paper that Zeoticus gave to him, he briefly saw that the taxi driver, who was in his late 60's if Naruto were to guess, looked at him with wide eyes.

"Th-this... is your place?" The man stuttered out, Naruto blinked for a second before nodding his head with a sheepish smile plastered on his face. Naruto didn't even get that much of a chance to get his seat belt on before the elderly man, quickly set up the GPS and put on the yen counter for the final price, before he put his foot down on the pedal, giving a whole new meaning to 'peddle to the medal', the car rocketed off down the street, with the taxi driver having yen signs in his eyes as he realised he was transporting a rich person.

The drive was very fun, as they got the attention of the cops in the streets before somehow managing to lose them in multiple twists and turns throughout the small town.

As Naruto paid the taxi driver who had driven for around 30 minutes, while 15 of those minutes were dodging the cops, Naruto decided to be nice and pay a bit more for making the drive interesting, as Kunou and Naruto got out, Naruto noticed that Kunou had swirly eyes whilst trying to keep her balance.

"Tou-sama, I am never getting in a taxi again." Kunou said as she stretched to get the kinks out of her body for being confined in that space for so long.

"I agree Kunou." Naruto said as he moved to the front gate before the house itself.

As Naruto got up to the gate, he realized that it was larger than him and was burnt orange in colour and had a large swirl that connected the two sides together, the gate also had many small intricate designs on it. Already a small plus in his book.

As he opened the gate, he was pleased when it didn't make any unnecessary noises as it opened, and thankfully no creaking or scraping noises for his and Kunou's delicate hearing due to them being Youkai's.

As they walked down the new pathway to their new temporary home in Kuoh, they were left flabbergasted when they saw just how big this mansion was... and that was putting it lightly.

The mansion was three stories tall and was about the length of three football fields long, it was a beautiful mixture between modern and ancient in design, with the pavement being made of cobblestone.

The mansion had a large garden area to look after, and already looked healthy, the windows on the buildings were a darker shade of grey, making it really hard to look through on the outside, and were shaped in small circles at the top, revealing a room at the top of the mansion, along with some more larger rectangular windows, and revealing some of the curtains in the room, the bottom of the mansion had massive shaded grey rectangular windows that people could look out of comfortably, a massive garage was connected on the side and had a driveway large enough for a couple of cars parked side by side and had some nicely trimmed bushes and hedges, with some flowers in bloom, which were a mixture of red, blue, violet and even white.

The pillars supporting the balconies of the mansion were a deep burnt orange colour, mixed with some red intricate designs, there were statues beautifully carved out in the shape of Kyuubi's and even some other animals, the one that Naruto liked the most though, was the one with the Kyuubi family on it, with it going the largest at the back, with the smaller one being at the front, with the paws of the larger ones placed safely on the head of the smaller one.

The roofing was done with shingles that were deep royal purple in colour and glittered in the sunlight, but also reflected some of the hit that came from the rays of light. The mansion colour scheme was cream coloured with some more intricate designs from the times of Ancient Rome with marble crafted and cut perfectly into intricate designs and many other designs with patterns, there was also a massive stairway leading to the upper stories on either side of the massive building, going in a small curve to reach the next floor.

"Wow." Both Naruto and Kunou said at the same time as they saw the house they had, it made them want to make this their holiday home when they wanted some time away from Kyoto.

"Sirzechs really went overboard... but it is beautiful." Naruto said as he continued to look at the surrounding area, he even spotted a small walkway connecting to the garden around the side of the mansion.

He felt a tug on his shirt, and he looked down and saw Kunou looking at him with a mixture of awe and confusion.

"Tou-sama. Why did he do this?" Kunou asked, dropping the small hiding spell that she knew from her training, somehow Naruto knew some cool tricks like teleporting and making things out of elements. Her ears were out and a little bent with a small question mark floating above her head.

Naruto chuckled a bit and patted her head affectionately. "I don't know, but I am definitely NOT complaining." Naruto said as he continued to walk closer to the magnificent mansion that was now his.

As he was walking closer and closer to the mansion, the more so it finally set in on his mind, he would love to stay here, if it wasn't for the duties of Kyoto, maybe if he had a son or daughter for the heir of the leadership title.

He made his way up the small stair case that was made of white marble with some blue gems in it, Naruto made his way up to a massive golden door that had some nice designs on it, they couldn't be made into specific objects, but they were nice to look at.

"Geez, he sure went over the top in this mansion, didn't he?" Naruto asked Kunou as he looked out of the corner of his eyes and saw Kunou still admiring the decorations and the size of the house.

Kunou just dumbly nods her head to his question, Naruto chuckles a bit and rubs her head, then proceeds to open the door, which was opened due to the small seal that Sirzechs put on it to only recognise Naruto and his visitors, something that Naruto helped in fixing up all of the small flaws in the system along with Ajuka.

As Naruto and Kunou walk into the mansion, they were met with some regal decorations and lavish wallpaper and even floorboards and tiles.

The wallpaper was a mixture of baby blue along with some golden designs on it, down what appeared to be a massive hallway, held a golden design of a Chinese dragon floating along some fluffy white clouds. The details on it was amazing.

The floorboards were made of oakwood and didn't make that much noise when you stepped down on it, only really making soft thuds when you put your weight down on it.

The tiles in the kitchen were evenly cut and had some bronze tinges along the edges along with the pure, clean white with them, they were cut into even squares, whilst the ones along the walls were cut into diamond shapes to make it even.

"Woah." Kunou whispered out in awe, even her mother's house wasn't this extravagant, she knew now that Sirzechs went over the top in designing this.

I know. Kunou." Naruto called out to her, he turned around to fully face Kunou know, when he called her, she gave him a cute head tilt.

"Yes, Tou-sama?" She answered cutely to the only male she will ever need in her life.

"Do you want to explore this place together?" Naruto asked Kunou, he didn't have to wait long for her response as she happily nodded her head quickly and bounced on her heels and clutched at Naruto's hand.

Naruto smiled at the action, although she was mature than most females her age to due her Youkai blood, she still acted like a child when he and Yasaka were around, she didn't show this side to many other people.

"Come on, let's go. Hopefully we don't get lost." Naruto said as he started leading Kunou down the hallway.

It took Naruto and Kunou a full hour and a half to explore the entire mansion from top to bottom, they eventually weren't even surprised at one point with how fancy and expensive everything looked, it looked like it was fit for a King and it was amazing, it will take some time to get used to living in the mansion, when they were so used to their modest home back in Kyoto.

Naruto found the master bedroom at the top level of the mansion, and it was the biggest room in the house, with a massive king sized bed that could fit maybe five people on it, the room was designed and decorated with rare materials, even having some random jewellery lying about, some with diamonds, some with rubies and even with emeralds, the room even had an en-suite and a walk-in wardrobe where it could probably fit another bedroom in it, the wood decor was made with oak-wood that was polished and looked absolutely pristine and even had fancy full mirrors in the walk-in wardrobe.

Naruto found a necklace that was made of gold and had amethyst crystal in shape of a crescent moon, Naruto gave that to Kunou because of her fascination with the crescent moon. She hugged him with a grip that could kill a man.

As they found out on the doors, was a little slab that had enough room to put a name on it, so Kunou got the room closest to the master bedroom, that was going to be Naruto's and Yasaka's if she ever came down to visit, Kunou even decorated her door with many foxes, although they were singed on the door with her bishop enhanced foxfire.

The hallways were all made with floorboards that were perfectly clean and never made any unnecessary noise when stepped on, the hallways were also lined with golden wallpaper with many mythology designs on it, they even had kitsune wallpaper in the master bedroom.

The backyard was very impressive, it was massive and had some sports courts, such as a tennis court, even a volleyball court, it had a massive pool that had the bottom made of white and black marble, the walls were also made of marble, the area around it was soft concrete so it didn't become boiling, but a nice warmth to stand on, just on the other side of the clear boundary around the pool was a Jacuzzi that was always bubbling and you didn't need to step super high to get into it.

The trees planted along the edges of the walkways were cherry blossom trees that were always in bloom thanks to some devil magic, they even had some Jacaranda trees, a nice mixture of pink and purple in the backyard, the plants that were found in the hedges were rose plants, red roses, violet roses, it was amazing to look at, and really colourful, they were definitely going to enjoy this area.

If Naruto were to estimate just how large this mansion was, he would probably say that it was about the size of a small island found near the Asian region, and this was on simple land that was never used near Kuoh town. What a catch. +

As Naruto made his way inside with Kunou, they were back in the living room where they left some of their stuff, Kunou then turned around and looked at Nartuo.

"Tou-sama, I am going to get my stuff from my friend's house, I will be back in a couple of minutes." Kunou said and did a short respectful bow, she always was so respectful to Naruto.

"Of course, just be careful not to get caught teleporting or with your features out." Naruto said as he rubbed her fox ears to prove his point.

Kunou leaned in to the touch and started giving small, but very cute yips. Her golden eyes widened as she realised what noises she let escape her lips and looked up to see Naruto trying his hardest to hold in his laughter.

"It's not funny! It's embarrassing!" Kunou whined out with her fox ears drooping a bit as she stomped her foot childishly, she then quickly hid her features with a small spell and teleported out of the mansion.

When Kunou left, Naruto's happy and carefree face was replaced with one of seriousness as he dropped his disguise and went into his true form, which wasn't that much different, except with his nine foxtails swishing about lazily behind him.

He concentrated and made a magic circle near his ear and spoke out. "Snake, please send to my location sun dragon and little red." Naruto spoke, if one were to hear they could hear a slight muffled feminine voice on the other side.

"Yes. We need some more back up for the next couple of weeks, something big is going to happen." Naruto said to the magic circle.

The magic circled wavered and cracked, until it fell apart, leaving nothing behind, Naruto flopped down on the couch as he realised just how much was going to need to happen, now he will have the devils of the area after him, and he would bet a thousand yen that Sirzechs didn't tell Rias or Sona what is happening, and they are probably going to spy on him and Kunou now.

Naruto rubbed his temples as he tried to calm a rapidly approaching headache, he chose sun dragon and little red because they were his youngest pieces of his peerage, having only just got them a year ago and they are only 16 and 18 with sun dragon being older.

'This is going to be annoying. I just know it.' Naruto thought to himself as he laid back on the comfortable couch and took a few deep breaths before he looked up to the ceiling and watched as the chandelier just moved a little bit, just swaying with the small gust his tails made when he flopped down.

He got out his little screen and turned it on, he waited a few seconds before he was met with a small holographic version of his wife, Yasaka.

"Hey dear." Naruto greeted with a small smile as he looked at his holographic wife.

"Hello Naru-koi, I heard that you want the dragon and little red. Are you sure that is a good idea?" Yasaka questioned Naruto as she continued to do some small amounts of paperwork on her desk, but she wasn't as annoyed because of the small trick Naruto taught her, using clones.

"Yes, although they may be young, they need experience, plus they are pretty strong. I have a feeling something big is happening in a couple of weeks and I want them to have some experience, and maybe make some friends here." Naruto replied honestly, he enjoyed the spark those two had.

"Alright, I'll trust your decision, koi. How is the house?" Yasaka questioned as she heard of the house that Sirzechs built for Naruto before he left Kyoto.

Naruto scratched the back of his head and gave his reply. "It's amazing, although it is nearly larger than half of Kyoto town its comfy, Kunou loves it here, maybe you should come over and visit later."

"I wish I can, but who would look after Kyoto? I'm not that proficient with my clones and they don't last long, and besides the public would lose their heads if I leave, they already took your leave badly, it took over three hours to calm them down." Yasaka giggled a bit when she saw the dumbfounded look on Naruto's face.

"Geez, they sure do love me." Naruto mumbled to himself as he learnt how much they lost it when he left, even though it is for a couple of days.

"Yes, you are their King, if I were to leave as well, I have a feeling chaos would be everywhere." Yasaka said before she looked at the clock on the wall near the desk. Yasaka gave a cute yawn which showed her canines and her pristine white teeth. "Alright koi, I am tired, I will talk to you later." Yasaka said before she blew a kiss at Naruto and hung up the call, with her body disappearing from the screen.

Naruto put the screen back in his pocket, his senses went off as he saw the orange magic circle with a kitsune in the middle of it light up in the room and out of the magic circle came out Kunou, carrying a small suitcase.

"I'm back!" Kunou said cheerfully, she always had some cheer in her, especially now since she doesn't have to worry that much because she isn't in Kyoto anymore.

"Welcome back." Naruto said as he stood up and walked over to Kunou. "I want to let you know, my Rook and my Knight are coming over soon, so you can have more friends at school and have some more people to talk to here." Naruto said as he gave a kiss to Kunou's head and picked up his suitcase and started walking towards the staircase leading up to the next floor. "If you need me, I will be in my room." Naruto said as he started walking up the stairs.

As Naruto disappeared up the stairs, Kunou was left alone and she let out a small squeal of delight, she knew who Naruto was talking about and they were here favorite members of the peerage, they were so fun to be around.

Kunou picked up her new luggage and her old luggage and skipped her way up the stairs and go up to her new room to unpack and settle down, and maybe fall asleep.

This is my last update for 2018, so I would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year, I will be back late January to early February, I am doing so much travelling and even going overseas, so I can't update, but I can still make some chapters, if you're wondering on what stories I am writing chapters for, please check my profile and read the priority list.

Alright guys, I gave a hint for two peerage members, and I am going to say, they are crossover characters, but they have plot for them. Sun Dragon and Little Red, ring any bells? They are the Rook and Knight respectively, maybe even another hint to who they are, I already mentioned they were females.
