Chp 4 meetings and greetings

the moon was high. Ardeth and Selene took a walk in the gardens to rest a little from the crowded room.

"I am sorry to ask you this, but are you married? it just rick told me about your son!"

" I am married, but it's complicated!"

" Does your son wants to meet his father?"

" of course he does but he still can't, until everything is safe"

" what do you mean?"

" family issues... what about you?"

" me?"

"yes, you. any special lady in your heart?" Selene in a joking tone

" Actually, no. the elders want me to marry someone... they approved one of their daughters or just someone sharing the same .. I don't know if I should ..."

" what it is?

" every night since my people s war, I have been dreaming about a girl. but it seems more like a memory rather than just a dream. that's why I want to find the priestess..."

" what the dream like?"

" I am getting married to the girl but I can not see her face, and then in the honeymoon, I see a mark on her shoulder"

" you are a traitor because you kill my parents, leaders of the tribe of isis. you had to go in order to keep the peace between tribes"

" but nothing would have happened if you had said yes"

" it also wouldn't happen if you weren't a coward. you are not fit to lead the medjai or the tribes!"

" take that back !"

" or you what... you were a coward back then as you are now! Imothep may have brought you back but you are still worthless and acting like a child!

Rorin took a gun out of his jacket and pointed at Selene, who just keep still and looking really mad at him.

"NO!" Ardeth put himself between them pushing Selene behind him.

" There you are... Hello!...what's going on here? " said Rick arriving to check on them. " Rorin didn't we talk about not more pointing guns?!"

" look, Selene, the perfect timing! all together again.. but you still haven't learned." Rorin moves the gun in ricks direction and shot ricks in the chest.

Selene summons the wind that blows Rorin right in the ice-cold river next to the gardens.
" Richard..." Selene runs to rick, pressuring his wound. Meanwhile, Evy arrived too. "Ardeth, Evy bring him to the gate, I will get the car! Jonathan get your car and meet us at my place.
