Nightshine

"What is he?"

"Did he fall out of the sky?"

"He looks kinda weird."

A commotion was leaking out in the plaza as many Pokemon huddled around. This caught the attention of Nightshine as she maneuvered around the many Pokemon surrounding the thing. She had to wonder what was causing such attention, and if the person is okay.

When she was at the front, she saw a black figure with wings darker than a Honchkrow. She sure he was a Chiman with its chest piece and armor. She was a bit excited because she got close to another Chiman. She'll admit she was fascinated by them. And scared because there will be chaos when he wakes up.

"Hey! I think he's waking up!" Everyone froze as the Raven began to stir and awake. Nightshine was panicking slightly and thought of something.

"Hypno! Use Hypnosis quick!" A yellow Pokemon with a white collar holding a round thing nodded as he used his psychic powers to lull the Chiman to sleep. His eyelids started to fall and fully fell asleep. Everyone released the breath they held as the Chiman was snoring, a sign meaning that he's asleep.

"What is one doing here?" Nightshine whispered to the crowd. Everyone shook their heads as they murmured among themselves. The gist she heard was that he fell out of the sky.

She rubbed her head as she assigned two Pokemon to carry him elsewhere. Anywhere far away from here. Everyone left, leaving Nightshine to think alone.

"It appears our cover is wearing thin, Nightshine." Wiseshell said. "What should we do?"

She shook her head. "I-don't know. We haven't had a problem like this since. The closest we've ever gotten to a Chiman were the Lions." She sighed. "What are going to do?" Wiseshell pondered for a while.

"Well, you could ask the Lions." She looked at him.

"I asked to not let anyone know about this you know. I didn't ask for attention."

"What I mean is ask for their cooperation again. Think about it. They helped us before. Its more likely they'll help us again." 'That is true' Nightshine thought. They could ask for the Lions assistance again. But still, the chances of being spotted are still very high...

"Its the only plausible solution, Nightshine." Wiseshell said, looking up. "They are our only hope." She gave it one last thought then sighed.

"Get one of the Pawniards to got to the Lions, then report back to me." Wiseshell nodded as he teleported away. Nightshine sighed once more as she thought deeply.

'I just hope no one else will know about this.'

Laval

"You have that look on your face again."

Laval jumped by Longtooth's sudden statement. "H-huh?"

Knowing Longtooth, he hid his smirk with a grin. "You've been spacing out lately since we went to that secret village. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with-oh I don't know-a certain Pokemon?" Laval groaned and flushed. He seriously doesn't have a thing with Nightshine. Right?

"I don't like-like her! Its just-" Laval groaned and went inside the temple.

"You'll thank me one day!" Laval ignored him as he walked around the Chi pool where elders gather Chi orbs. His father stood near the pool, his arms folded behind his back. Laval approached him, his steps sulking a bit.

His father noticed. "Son, are you alright?"

He wasn't sure if he would tell his father. Him, in love? Even he would doubt himself. Even Cragger would define love as a 'mushy gross stuff' when they were young. Every time the topic of Nightshine was brought up, he would be tongue-tied and chose to stay quiet most of the time.

So he decided to lie. "Its nothing dad." Lagravis bore his eyes through him, almost analyzing every detail of his face.

"You can't lie to me son. I know everything there is about you."

'Oh Cavora' Laval should'v known that his father, of all people, know him better. "Well, you probably won't believe me but-" Suddenly Leonidas called out to them.

"Sir! A Pokemon would like to see you." Laval instantly perked up and followed his father where a little metal-like Pokemon stood with its arms crossed.

"Greetings little one. What brings you here?" Lagravis said. The Pawniard, before he answered, kicked Lagravis in the shin.

"Don't be 'little one' me! I am one of Steelguard's number one soldier! So don't you be makin' a fuss about it!" He said.

"He's forgotten humble." Laval whispered to his father.

"Can you at least tell us your name?"

He did a little salute. "The name's Preobrazhensky."

"Uh, what?" Laval said, confused.

"I said the name is Preobrazhensky." He said a little louder. Laval started to ask him again but Lagravis shook his head, closing Laval's mouth.

"What is it that you need?"

"Lady Nightshine is requesting the assistance of you Lions. However do not use any large vehicles, she said."

Laval, without hesitation, ran towards his Speedor. "C'mon dad! The Pokemon needs us!" He almost said 'Nightshine' but caught on. Lagravis protested about his son's sudden outburst but nonetheless grabbed onto his Speedor and caught up to his son.

Cragger

"Cragger, what are you doing?" Crooler asked with her fake sweet voice. She watched as Cragger fiddled with they're father's crossbow. It was brand new and shiny after the fight with the cave dwellers but she couldn't care less about that. She was interested in letting her brother sniff a pretty plant...

"Fixing dad's crossbow. I thought it might need a little fixing up, y'know?" He said as he polished the bow.

"Yes, yes, really nice, but-" She moved her claw and waved it to and fro in front of Cragger's nostrils. "Won't have just a tiny sniff of my-" Before he could smell it, Cragger swatted it away. He stood up and ran outside. Crooler stayed and shook the flower lots of times before it wilted. She growled under her breath and threw the shrub away. Cragger ran outside to test out the bow but before he could, he saw a few Lions on Speedors racing towards somewhere.

"Where are they going?" He asked himself. Crooler caught up to him. Before she could do anything, he ran to his Speedor and drove off in chasing the Lions. She growled a bit louder this time and stomped the wilted plant angrily on the ground.

Nightshine

She couldn't stop pacing as soon as the Lions came.

She was muttering inaudible things, blocking off the outside as she thought on what to do for her village. Only Laval was brave enough to approach her,

"Um... Nightshine? Are you alright...?" He said, touching her shoulder. Before he knew it, he was sent flying across the ground and hit a tree. He threw her hands over her mouth and knelt besides Laval.

"Oh my Arceus, I am so sorry! Are you all right?" She placed one hand under his head and one placed on his chest. He blushed at the contact but remained stoic.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He sat up and rubbed the back of his head. He felt some kind of presence behind him. He turned and saw a blue, leafless tree with an 'X' carved in the middle.

"What kind of tree is this...?" He said. He felt power emanating from it and it felt good. It revitalized him, albeit faintly.

"Ah... That is Xerneas in its hibernation state." Nightshine said. "We've been trying to revive him for so many years that many of our ancestors have died protecting it."

"Why? What was Xerneas like?" Soon his father joined him and examined the tree.

"He was the very essence of life. He vitalizes the sick and can bring back the dead. He was our savior three thousand years ago when..." She violently shook her head. She didn't want to reminisce that tragedy again. It was too painful.

"Never mind. We, the Pokemon, must revive him at all costs. The tree is essential for everything around it." Lagravis scratched his chin.

"Can we help you in reviving Xerneas?" He asked. Nightshine thought for a while.

"Yes-I mean-if you could. We need a huge source of energy to have him absorb it. That's why Steelguard entered the race so he could win the golden sphere."

"Steelguard?" Laval said. "Oh! You mean that mysterious racer the other day?" Nightshine nodded.

"Sadly the golden sphere didn't work. That's why we called you a few weeks ago. And I hadn't expected to let you know of our existence."

"Well sorry to drop by unexpectedly." Laval said sarcastically.

Nightshine ignored him. "But if it hadn't been for you, we would've been in much deeper trouble. That I thank you."

Laval meekly scratched his head. "Don't mention it."

"Is that why you sent us a message to come here? To figure out how to revive Xerneas?" Lagravis asked.

Nightshine shook her head. "I called you because a Chiman managed to penetrate our village."

Both the Lions' eyes widened. "How? Who was it? What tribe was he from?"

"The gist of what the witnesses said he fell from the sky. I don't know who it was and I don't know what tribe is he from. But I can describe him. He had black wings, black feathers and a hook for a claw."

"The Ravens?" Laval said.

"Probably so."

"We'll see to it that the Raven will be interrogated." Lagravis said. Nightshine smiled a little in relief.

"Thank you. Try not to raise suspicion when interrogating him."

"We will." Laval said before taking off on his Speedor. Nightshine who had a worried look on her face, sighed.

"Please don't fail us Chimans."

Eris

Eris was flying across Chima, her white wings fluttering through the gentle breeze. Suddenly smoke arose over some trees. Eris swooped down and what she saw was beyond her imagination. Creatures of different proportions either sprawled across the ground or running away were here. Something arose from behind her. She felt her knees grow weak and meekly turned around, only to find the same red bird in her dream last time, about to eat her.

"AAAAH!" Eris screamed across the Raven Tribe. A couple of Ravens looked at her weirdly and went back to what their doing. Eris blinked. Since when did she went to the Raven Tribe? She looked around and saw her Speedor, surprisingly still intact. She sighed and went to her Speedor until she heard someone talking about weird creatures. She careened her ears to find the source and, surprise, Razar was sitting on a bench instead of selling cheap stuff. She went over to him with an innocent look on her face.

"Um... Razar. I can't help but overhear that you've seen some weird creatures. Care to elaborate?" She asked.

The Raven blinked until plastering that face. The same face that he makes to encourage customers to buy his merchandise. "Ah! Eris, my friend! Yes, about what I said earlier. Um... It comes in a price if you want to know."

Eris groaned. "What!? But-"

"Now now, my friend." Razar put an arm around her shoulders. "In the Raven Tribe, if you want something, you gotta buy it. So... how much do you have?"

Eris almost screamed, knocking a barrel full of stuff, a Raven saying; "Hey! Watch the merchandise!"

She brushed it off and flew to her Speedor. "Laval will probably listen to me." Speaking of the Lion, a few Lion tanks approached them. On two Speedors is Lagravis and the Lion she wanted to meet since her dreams appeared.

"Laval! I have something to tell you!" Eris said, flying towards Laval. The Lion blinked, unsure of what to do.

"Uh, Eris? We kinda have to talk to a Raven here. For royal stuff!" Lagravis sent him a look but shook his head.

"But this is serious-"The Lions brushed her off and talked to Razar. Eris had to bite her tongue in order not to scream.

"Razar, we have heard about you seeing weird creatures. Would care to elaborate on what they look like and where you found them?" Lagravis asked. Eris gasped. So they already knew about the creatures?

"Ah, more people thirsty for questions? Business must be booming..." He muttered the last part.

"What was that?" Laval asked.

"Nothing! So uh, those creatures you were asking..." He scratched his head. "Well, I don't know. It was a bit of a blur, like a dream, y'know? But I was pretty sure I saw something that was real..." Razar trailed off to pique the Lions' interest.

"And...?" Laval asked impatiently.

"Patience, my friend. I was just trying to remember." Then his eyes widened. "Ah! Yes! Now I remember. One of them was tall and white. It was wearing a dress, I think? It had blue hair and amber eyes." Razar sighed. "When I picture it now, it seemed far more like a dream when I think of that mysterious creature.

At this point, Eris kicked a stack of crates. How come Razar told the Lions and not her?!

Laval shifted uncomfortably. "Do you happen to know where you saw the creatures?"

Razar scratched his head some more. "Eh, the last thing I remembered was falling back asleep. I woke up sleeping in my room so I thought it was just a dream."

Laval and Lagravis looked at each other for a while until coming to a conclusion. "It was probably just a dream." Lagravis said.

"Yeah, there's now way those types of creatures exist." Laval said.

Eris had enough of this and yelled; "I HAD THOSE DREAMS TOO!" It was so loud, it caught the attention of nearly the whole Tribe.

"Uh..." Eris trembled. "I had those dreams too..." She said in a quieter voice.

"Then why didn't you say so, Eris?" Laval asked. She wanted to argue about saying that all day and yesterday but decided against it.

"I had those dreams too about those weird creatures. My first dream was that there was a giant red bird sucking all life. Then my second dream was that a village of those creatures were under attack or something. Then that same red bird appeared again."

The Lions looked uneasy but hid it well. "And what has that red bird got to do with fictional creatures?" Lagravis asked.

"Their not fictional. Their real! I'm sure of it..."

"Eris," Laval placed a hand on her shoulder. "You were probably still shaken up about what happened in the Outlands. Don't worry. We were still pretty shaken up as well."

"But-"

"Get some rest, Eris. I still have some stuff to do." Laval hopped on his Speedor and drove off with the other Lions.

"But-"

"Eris, my friend. Don't worry about it. Can I offer you in some complimentary mementos of the Scorpion Tribe?" Razar gestured over to some old Scorpion items. One was a picture of Scorm. Eris flew off her Speedor and drove off. She was determined to find out what the mysterious creatures are hiding.

Starting by following Laval.

Laval

"Do you think Eris might know about Pokemon, dad?" Laval asked his father.

"I don't know, son but we did as Nightshine asked. Let's go back to the village and tell Nightshine." They drove into the hidden forest past the black fox guards and into the village. They both dropped off their Speedorz and walked towards the pacing Gardevoir. This time, she didn't went crazy.

"Did you find out who it is? Do they know of our existence?" Nightshine asked anxiously.

"Relax, Nightshine. No one knows about the Pokemon. The Raven we talked to thought is was just a dream."

Nightshine sighed, relieved to have solved the problem. "Thank you Laval and Lagravis. I don't know what my village would do without you."

Laval meekly scratched his cheek. "Aw, don't mention it." Then he remembered. "Nightshine. Do you know a red bird Pokemon?"

Nightshine blinked. "There area a lot of red bird Pokemon here. You might as well describe further."

"A giant red bird that sucks all life. Does that sound familiar?" Laval trailed off due to the horrified face Nightshine held. Swiftly, she grabbed his shoulders and looked at him straight in the eye.

"How did you know about him?" Laval was a bit scared of the sudden tension in her voice. She must have sensed his distress and released him, sighing a bit.

"I'm sorry. It's just-Laval. The red bird your referring to is-"

"I KNEW IT!" The Pokemon and Lions flinched at the sudden outburst. They turned and saw Eris, who looked worn out like she had a fight with the black foxes.

'The black foxes...'

"I knew it! There was a village full of mysterious creatures! Did anyone believe me?! No-"

Smack!

Eris dropped on the ground unconscious when Nightshine hit her at the back of her head. When she looked at Laval, her eyes shone with fury.

"You. Me. Wigglytuff Guild. Now."
