Oh godammnit its beeeen soo long. I am so sorry but i guess youve heard me say that alot but i really really am sorry for being so late. Ive been mentally knocked out for a while and havnt had quite the time to figure out a good continuation. But here it contiunues hope its still good its a bit longer then usual but i felt it necessary since i have been gone for a while. The story is still in progress so you can still request villains that can appear in this plot or as many of you have come up with suggestion of what should be included in this story. enjoy and please try to forgive me
The night had fallen upon the blistering cold of Russia. Mostly everybody had gone to sleep by now... Or so they thought. Not everybody was able to sleep well. And that somebody was a particular orange top. Yess indeed Alice had stepped out into the chilling night air. After checking that everybody was sound asleep she stepped out. For some reason she couldn't get the odd feeling that she knew where the signal was coming from. She had this hunch that somehow Lync could be way closer then they had estimated. What if they both was within reachable lenght. Or was it perhaps her own wishful thinking that drove her to assume this kind of feeling. After all she had been trying nonstop to try to find them not quitting for a second. Even though she couldn't quite forget what happened between Hydron and Lync outside her house, She still wished for both to return safely back. But then again could Hydron possibly he changed and could he possibly be a better King then his monstrous father?
" Im sure he must have changed somehow for him to be that scared to lose Lync" she said to herself.
The time inside the Vexos base and the fight against Xenoheld she had seen fear in the prince when he couldn't wake Lync.
"Lynch" she sighed out loud
"Soo thinking about someone" another voice cut in making Alice almost jump out of her skin.
She turned to see Dan standing there as well
"Dan what you doing out here" she said still a litle shocked
"I was just going to the bathroom and then i noticed you went out and i just went i guess" Dan shrugged
"I see" she sighed
"Is something wrong Alice for you to be out here so late" Dan asked now concerned
'"Its nothing really i just got out here to think" Alice answered back trying to hide that yes she was concerned.
"Is it about the dissapearing of Lync and Hydron you think its their signal out there" Dan inquired
"I am sure its Lyncs at least and there were to signals all off sudden so it must be Hydron after all they were together the last time i saw them before the blast" Alice said
"Alice i dont mean to pessimistic but the base exploded how in the world would they be able to get out in time." Dan said with doubt filling his voice
"The transporter card" Alice answered
"The transporter card you mean the one you used when you were masquerade?"
"Yess i lost hold of it during the fight with the king, and im pretty sure Lync must have found it and used it to transport him and Hydron away" Alice started out her theory
"So where do you think it took them" Dan asked
"I dont know Dan that card has the abillity to transport the holder anywhere they think of.
but theyr here somewhere on earth." Alice wondered
"Yess thats for sure i know it and i got this feeling its nearer then we might think" Alice seemed pretty sure.
"And what if we do find them alice what about Hydron i mean up until now he was a pretty cruel guy and the way he acted towards Lync am astouned that Lync still stays with him" Dan said a bit sad
"I know and i was originally going into the base to get Lync away from Hydron, but the things i saw in there the way Hydron acted towards Lync. it makes me think that maybe Hydron is changed and that he was trying to make up for what he did by defeating his dad and protect Lync it was kinda cute " Alice said in a serious tone yet she was smiling.
"Wow i didn't know Hydron was like that" Dan was shocked
"Neither did i Dan i really hope he doesn't go back to his cruel self cause the new Hydron i think would be a better future for Vestal and for Lyncs sake" Alice responded
"You really care about Lync don't you" Dan inquired
"I do he isn't that bad really yess at first he was rude but i noticed his suffering by the way he tried to hide it. i can tell he really do care about Hydron" Alice said
"We r gonna find them cause i am pretty sure that Hydron would have gotten plenty of time to reflect wherever he is" Dan said encouraging.
( you could need some reflection time Hydron) she thought
Then in a flash a sudden thought struck her like lightning. Reflecting,close signal on earth.
could it possibly be?
"That could be it Dan" she almost shouted in joy.
Dan startled by her outburst looked at her wideyed.
"What Alice?"
"I think i know where Hydron and Lync are" Alice said before draggin Dan to the lab
Back in the Cave
"Aw man how many roads does this cave have?" Lync let out a heavy sigh,
"Just hold on Lync there has to be a way out here somehow" Hydron tried to be encouraging but
Then again his voice wasnt that convincing.
Nervously twisting his lock of hair he looked around.
(Damnit it seems everytime we go a route we end up here at the center and i am sure we took all the roads)
"What's with this freaky cave it's like a living thing in here" Lync said a little panicky.
"What i wanna know is what kind of things you were thinking that got us transported here?" Hydron now said annoyed.
"I told you there wasn't any particular location in mind just anywhere but the base" Lync said not believing they got back to previous topic again.
"You should at least decided on a location we know" Hydron said even more annoyed.
"At a time like that with only mere seconds to spare i doubt anybody could think straight" Lync tried desperatly to defend the accusations coming at him.
"Yeah well look at where we are lost in some cave" Hydron now raised his voice.
"I am sorry okay i didn't think further then that, i was just so afraid we wouldnt make it out alive and id hate to lose you at this point" Lync shouted before slightly falling forward.
Hydron reached out and caught a hold on him.
"Whoah whoah easy there" he said as he steadied Lync a bit more.
"I am sorry i didnt mean to accuse you or anything i am just so frustrated to be stuck inside this neverending cave" he said before settling down on the ground against the big rock in the center of the room.
"You and me both" Lync sighed.
"I dont get it we been all over the place and yet we havn't come near an exit how big is this cave?" Hydron wondered.
"I dont know its almost like the cave is doing this to us on purpose like its putting us on some sort of test" Lync then said.
"What do you mean by that" Hydron questioned seemingly curious.
"I just remembered some story Alice told me when i was on earth...that time" Lync said a little nervous fearing Hydron would react to the name alice.
Hydron indeed reacted a little remembering the more dark days between him and Lync, but put a lot off effort not to show it to the pinkette.
"So whats the story" he tried to lessen the nervous tension coming from Lync
"Well Alice told me this" Lync started
Flashback
Lync looked up as Alice sat next to him.
" You know there was a time where i wasn't such a good person either" Alice started to speak.
"I find that hard to believe" Lync said casually.
"Believe what you like but once i let my mind get tangled up, because of my own insecurity and lack of confidence and i became this evil character you could say"
Lync now looked a bit more interested.
So what happened on?
"I became Masquerade and started doing all these bad things even hurting my own friends driven by a evil presence. Without being aware of what i was doing i let myself sink further and further into depression and subcounciousnes."
"Sounds horrible how did you get out of it?" Lync now fully focused onto the story.
"It was when Dan defeated Masquerade that i became myself again. But something weird happen to me first. i suddenly found myself inside a cave all alone. It had blue shining crystal walls and gave a sort of magical feel to it. I was so confused of where i was and how id gotten there. I thought about it over and over when a vision of everything Masquerade did while having me under control. I saw them all and realized i was the one doing it. How id let my doubt and eventually shame over being weak. Let it make into a evil person that would hurt my friends. I couldn't believe my eyes my ears nothing. How could i let myself become this way. It broke my heart completly. So much that i wanted to just surrender and stay in this cave forever, thinking i deserved it….
Alice paused to take a breath she wasn't aware she had held in for too long"
But then a light shined upon me and i was filled with memories of my friends of Dan telling me just how much i meant to them all. Theyr my friends they like me just for who i am. Runo and Julia my bestfriend's who always was there for me. Who would never let me down. None of them thought of me as weak or less of a person. Dan brought me out of the Masquerade control and made take control over my own mind. And not least grandpa who always loved me and cherished every moment together with me. encouraging me to always give my best to everything. It was then i realized i was the only one that could take control over my own life. I decided to build my resolve strong enough so that nobody could do such a thing to me again. I would never let Masquerade get to me again. Because i wanted to be there for Dan and the others and just be me because in the end thats all that matters. To be happy and live along friends that appreciate and care for me just as much i do for them. And before i knew it the cave was lighting up and i closed my eyes onley to wake up back on the battlefield where i fought as Masquerade. Dan and the others were there trying to wake me up. And it was there i became myself again Alice finished.
She gave a light smile to Lync who looked rather astonished.
End of Flashback
As Lync finished the story he looked elsewhere but Hydron. Hydron mearly was still digesting all that had been said. It reminded him of himself in a nostalgic way. He had to admit Alice didn't look like much when he had first met her. That she was the mysterious Masquerade. He had actually heard about it randomly from Spectra but never did imagine it was her. His mindset was ended as he could feel Lync slumping together against the rock. He took in the rather cute sight of the Ventus brawler sleeping next to him.
You must be so tired after everything you went through he said sadly. He pulled Lync to rest against him instead wanting him to at least sleep peacefully.
"You look cute when you sleep Lync" Hydron smiled while keeping a good hold on him.
His mind drifted off while looking at what he hoped was his new aquired lover. Many thoughts and memories went through Hydrons mind. He thought to about the day he met Lync and how happy the boy had been not to say surprised. After all a nobody getting audience from the vestal prince. He liked Lync he saw something special in him, his fighting spirit heck even his stubborn attitude. And yet he let it go to far. He let his rage and jealousy not to mention corruption of power blind him. He couldn't even realize what he had become. His desire for power took a hold on everybody that came near. To the point of eradicating his own people, the people he was supposed to look after as a King someday. How evil. His desperate attempts to please his father. He only had Lync who he trusted the only one to turn to when things got too difficult. He took advantage over the boys admiration and the way Lync looked up to him. And to the point of breaking him down,getting posessive over him developing the idea that he had the right to take ownership over whatever he saw fit. More or less he had turned himself into a monster.
"All the cruel things i did to you, treating you like you were nothing less then a spy and my lapdog" lapdog….the word haunted Hydrons mind.
"How could i be so cruel when you were so loyal to me you did nothing wrong not really. Its all me its all my fault I did this to you.I let the hatred for my father and power blind me completely. My arrogancy got the best of me blinded me. I drove you away, i am the reason you ran in the first place and i go and make you suffer even more"
He looked around himself.
"Maybe its meant for me to be here. For my crimes i couldn't possibly atone for it. The people would never forgive me for what ive done i dont expect them to. I am no good to lead i was always following blindly to my fathers orders"
Dark memories were eating him up slowly. The guilt of everything he had done to Vestal the Bakugans and not to mention Lync.
He could still remember when Lync returned to Vestal after he had run after Spectra and Gus to earth, He had let his jealousy of Spectra take over. He never thought he would ever use the agonizer on anyone but he had done it to Lync to show him his place.
And yet after everything he did and he knew he had it coming to him, Lync risked his all to come save him from the prison cell.
"You were willing to lose it all for me even if you didn't have to you came for me" He looked down at Lync who had snuggled closer to him.
"You were the one that saved me the one to wake me up and come to my senses. If it wasn't for you i probably would never have the guts to stand up for my father,never have something to look forward to"
He looked down miserably.
"Maybe it's for the better i just stay right here sure nobody out there will miss me."
He then felt a hand touch his cheek softly.
"Stop looking down on yourself" the cute voice of Lync sounded.
Hydron opened his eyes wide to come to face with a pair of blue eyes staring with sadness at him.
"Lync" he muttered sadly.
"Please don't say you deserve to rot in a dark cave away from everybody. It isn't your fault not entirely at least. So you went into psykopath mode for a good while but still didnt you make up for it didn't you stop your demeaning actions in the end. You stood your ground and defeated Xenoheld your own father" Lync said looking pretty serious.
"Lync i hurt so many people i hurt you how can you be so forgiven"
"But i knew it wasn't really the real you i knew something had made you change cause you didn't use to be that mean and cruel. Your father drove you to insanity with how he treated you. He turned you into the unoticable. And for a while i really thought you wouldn't be the kind prince you were when i first met you" Lync said with a shaking voice. Clearly about to cry.
"L-Lync what are you" Hydron said getting really worried.
"But you did change in the end i knew it when you told me to flee from the base and i saw it in your eyes when you tried to defeat your father the first time. I knew then there was no way i was gonna leave you, not ever. I still mean what i said you are the best leader for our people for Vestal. I really do" Lync now fell a couple of tears.
Hydron stared with wide eyes at the Ventus brawler. Lync believed in him this entire time. He kept his hope up this entire time.
(How can possibly give up now that i have you Lync)
He then laid his hand on Lync's cheek lifting his face up to look at him.
"Thank you Lync thank you for not leaving me i love you so much and i swear i will do what i can to get us out of this cave. I dont want to give up now. Ill fight to make things right for all of them"
Lync smiled.
"As long as i have you i can do it" Hydron said
" That aint gonna change ill be right here with you" Lync said blissfully
Hydron gently caressed his cheek before kissing Lync fully drawing him in gave into the kiss.
The kiss however didn't last long as the entire room lit up dramatically. Both teens closed their eyes as the light was blinding them both holding onto each other tightly. The ground started shaking with drastic tremors.
" Whats happening Lync screamed"
" Hold on Lync just hold on" Hydron tried to stand balanced but with the ground shaking the way it was it proved to be difficult. A sudden shockwave came bursting from the nearby crystall wall and towards the pair.
Both teens collapsing to the ground…..
Oh another cliffhanger think theyll be okay it sure is a dangerous cave theyr in who knows. Is Alice right about where they are and whatelse will happen...soo many questions feel free to let me know what you think Love ya all. see ya next time (Hopefully soon)
