Five Weeks Later:
"Inuyasha…" Kagome said softly and very hesitant.
"What is it?" Inuyasha asked looking at Kagome; she was very pale.
"We need to talk." Kagome said clearly upset.
"What's wrong?" Inuyasha asked concerned.
"The Morning After Pill…" Kagome started.
"What about it?" Inuyasha asked looking at Kagome.
"It didn't work…" Kagome said crying.
"What are you saying?" Inuyasha asked sitting up immediately.
"I'm pregnant…" Kagome said, tears just pouring down her face.
"Are you sure?" Inuyasha asked looking at her.
"Yes…I got a call from the doctor an hour ago. And I took four home pregnancy tests…" Kagome said upset.
"Four at home tests and a doctor's appointment…and they all came back positive?" Inuyasha asked still in shock.
"Yes…I'm so sorry." Kagome said hysterical.
"Don't be; it's not your fault. This is his fault…" Inuyasha said annoyed.
"What are we going to do?" Kagome asked looking at Inuyasha.
"What do you want to do?" Inuyasha asked seriously.
"I don't know…" Kagome said softly, upset.
"Come here; It'll all be ok…one way or another." Inuyasha said as he did the best he could to comfort her.
"I can't get an abortion…that's all I know…but I'm not ready to be a mom yet." Kagome said terrified.
"Well…what about adoption; I know a few people who want to be parents who can't get pregnant…" Inuyasha said seriously.
"Well…are you ready to be a dad yet?" Kagome asked looking up at Inuyasha.
"No… I mean I would like to be a dad, but not right now. I'm only nineteen." Inuyasha said half seriously.
"And I'm only seventeen." Kagome said softly.
"So…adoption?" Inuyasha asked looking at her.
"Yeah…" Kagome said softly.
"Well…at least you won't show until after school ends…" Inuyasha said trying to calm her down.
"True…" Kagome said leaning into Inuyasha.
"Are you ok?" Inuyasha asked concerned.
"I don't know…I'm scared." Kagome said honestly.
"I bet…" Inuyasha sighed.
"I'm sorry…" Kagome said softly.
"Don't be; it's his fault, not yours or mine…right?" Inuyasha asked concerned.
"No; it's not your fault either. Are you going to leave me?" Kagome asked scared; that's what she was most afraid of.
"No, never. I'd stay with you even if you decided to keep the baby." Inuyasha said seriously.
"Really?" Kagome asked pulling away, shocked.
"Of course; it's a part of you and me." Inuyasha said seriously.
"But we're still putting it up for adoption?" Kagome asked looking at Inuyasha.
"If that's what you want." Inuyasha said seriously.
"Can we do that one thing? The adoption where we're allowed to see the baby if we want?" Kagome asked confused.
"You mean open adoption. And of course. I know two families that would do that. I'll give them a call later and we'll set up some meetings." Inuyasha said calmly.
"Ok. I love you." Kagome said softly.
"I love you too. More than anything in this whole entire world." Inuyasha said hugging her…
