Alright, on with the story!

Perry: I hope for your sake that Monogram isn't really going to send me away.

Be nice and i won't. make him do it.

Perry: (sighs) Fine.

Phineas: (runs up to us and barks)

Perry: He want's to do the disclaimer.

Fine with me, go ahead.

Phineas: (barks) translation: P&F doesn't belong to Night.

Major Mongoram: (cheerfully) Read and Review!

How did you get in here?

MM: Me? You are using O.W.C.A.'s conference room 2 for this.

Oh, yeah...

Phineas couldn't help but stare back at Perry's boss when the man started to stare at him. But although he may have looked attentive, he was all but. Perry's last words echoed in his head.

"Unfortunately Sir, it seems that I will have to-to leave my host-family after this dilemma is…is solved."

Leave them, what did that mean? Why would Perry leave them? And why would he be so hurt that he would have to? He didn't trust them anyhow, right? So why would he want to stay? He could've-

"Are you sure?"

The Major's voice snapped Phineas back to the present and he heard Perry answer: "I am Sir. These three are Phineas Horatio Flynn", he pointed to Phineas, "Ferb Jonathan Fletcher", he pointed to Ferb, "and Isabella Jane Garcia-Shapiro", he pointed to Isabella in the end.

"Did he have to use our full names?", growled the black cat sourly.

Phineas couldn't help but nod in agreement. While Ferb may not mind his, Phineas, much like Candace, wasn't all that fond of his full name. Horatio, how had his mom even come up with that one? Then he suddenly heard Perry mutter: "And the boy who named me Perry Bartholomew Flynn-Fletcher is complaining, really?" Phineas snorted. Okay, maybe Perry had the right to use their names like that. His own wasn't the best either after all.

"Well…If I wouldn't know you and your nemesis Agent P, I'd accuse you of lying to gain attention now."

"I get too much attention as it is", grunted the platypus to himself.

Major Monogram didn't seem to have heard him, since he continued: "I guess the best we can do right now is keep them safe and away from harm. That means they'll have to stay with us. Agent P, get them to the HQ. They'll be our guests until we can turn them back."

"What about Linda, Lawrence, Candace and Mrs Garcia-Shapiro?", asked Perry quickly.

"You leave that to us Agent P. For now just concern yourself with taking care of your owners and their friend."

Perry gave a quick salute and the screen turned off. Phineas watched surprised how the platypus let out a deep sigh and slumped in his chair. "Well", muttered Perry. "That went…better than expected." He was about to get up, when Phineas leaped onto the chair and pinned him there. "Ph-Phineas?"

The dog-turned-boy lowered his ears and growled: "What did you mean before? About leaving us?"

Perry stared up at him sadly and after a few heartbeats he whispered: "It's regulation…when an Agent's cover is blown and revealed to their host-family, they get relocated for their own and the family's safety."

Phineas eyes widened and Ferb asked: "So that is why you never told us about your secret."

The platypus nodded and whispered: "I…can't bear the thought of leaving you guys…you aren't just a cover or a host-family…you're my family…my boys." Phineas stared down at the teal-furred animal wide-eyed. Perry looked close to tears at this point, his despair at the thought of being taken from his family clearly visible to all three kids. Before Phineas knew what he was doing, his paws had already moved forward, thrown around his pet's neck to hug him tightly. Perry froze for a second, before he hugged back forcefully.

Smiling slightly Phineas whispered: "We won't let them Perry." A questioning rumble came from the Agent's chest. "We won't let them take you away from us Perry. And even if they do, we'll find you and get you back, I…we promise." He added the we when he felt Ferb joining the hug. They remained like this for a short while, animal-turned-owners and their pet entangled tightly in a loving hug, before the finally broke apart and Perry got up.

He looked at them, dark red eyes still glazed with a slight sheen of tears, and smiled. The brothers grinned back at him. The next thing Phineas knew, was that he was being sucked through an air tunnel system that was used by a lot of other animals as well. Right after their hug, Perry had turned off the translator, quickly sent some sort of message, only giving a mischievous grin when asked who it was for, and then he had ushered them towards one of the tunnels. Jumping in first, the kids had soon joined him on the way to HQ.

While in the tunnel system Phineas saw all kinds of animals. From a mouse and a praying mantis over a fox and a panda to a rhino and a reindeer. And each and every one of them wore a hat similar to Perry's. Sometimes the colours apparently varied, but altogether the same. Suddenly the dog heard a 'pop' and found himself tumbling over a tile-floor.

Isabella landed on top of him while Ferb managed to make use of his new wings and clumsily managed to glide away from the pile. As soon a she realised that she lay on him, Isabella scrambled off the small dog, who got up and shook himself wildly, before he looked around. It looked like they were in some kind of foyer. Some agents were there, exiting and entering the room.

He even saw a few humans, most being either clothed like scientists, cleaning personal or kitchen staff. At this he raised an eyebrow at Perry who shrugged: "Most of us are terrible cooks and while the majority of us cleans up after ourselves, there are those few that already have trouble with being housebroken."

Phineas saw how a teasing grin appeared on Isabella's face, before she asked: "Oh…and do you speak from personal experience or-"

"I'm perfectly clean, thank you very much", cut Perry in and glared at her. Then he jerked his thumb at a door behind him and continued: "Anyhow, c'mon. We've got to get you to the room you'll be staying in for the while." He set off quickly.

Phineas scrambled after him and asked: "And Mom and Dad and Candace…will they be…" He trailed of.

Perry smiled at him warmly and placed a hand on his head. "They'll be fine Phineas, I promise. They won't worry too much. Major Monogram and Carl may act like bumbling fools every once in a while, but they know their job and what they're doing." Those words alone relieved Phineas more than he ever thought possible and he relaxed a little.

They walked on in silence for a bit, when they crossed the path of a dark brown squirrel in a light brown hat with a greyish band, quite different from Perry's dark brown and black one. The squirrel froze for a few seconds, then let out a squeal and saluted energetically.

Phineas looked at Perry confused, to see an interesting expression on the platypus' face. He looked ready to facepalm. But instead of doing that, Perry simply remained in his already straight posture and saluted back, resulting in another squeal from the squirrel, which then zipped off, chanting "I met him! I met him! I met him!..." along the way. Perry on the other hand slumped with a slight groan and muttered: "Rookies", before they set off again.

"Perry…what just happened?", asked Isabella finally.

The platypus smirked slightly and answered: "Ranks between the Agents are shown by the different colours of their hats. The kid you just saw was probably one of the rookies that finished their training two weeks ago. Can't say I mind I missed that graduation ceremony. They do tend to get annoying quickly. Most top level agents stay clear of them."

"Top level Agents?", asked Phineas now.

Perry nodded and answered: "Yeah, Agents with the same kind of colouring for their hats that I have. We're Top level and the ones who mostly have a personal nemesis assigned to us. Any further differences in ranks between our group is only shown by our badges."

"Okay, I was confused there for a second since I actually saw a lot of animals with a hat similar to yours", stated Isabella.

Perry smiled and answered: "It can get confusing, can't it?"

"Why if it isn't Perry."

Phineas almost ran his pet over when Perry stopped dead in his tracks. Looking past the Agent, he saw a Panda with a hat completely similar to Perry's standing in front of them. Beady black eyes were narrowed haughtily and Phineas heard a low growl rumble in Perry's chest. But when the platypus spoke his voice was calm and flat. "Hello Peter. Nice weather today, isn't it?" The Panda only snorted and roughly pushed past the teal-furred Agent, who barely even moved, though the growl started to move upwards in Perry's throat before he swallowed it down again.

Once the Panda had disappeared around a corner, Phineas turned to his pet and asked: "Who was that?"

"That was Peter the Panda", growled Perry out, bright red eyes glaring after the black and white animal furiously. "He was transferred here from our Seattle division at the beginning of summer."

"You don't seem to like him much", observed Isabella.

Perry huffed at that and growled: "I can assure, the feeling is mutual." With that he turned away and started walking again. And damn could that platypus walk fast.

"Perry…wait – huff – we aren't that – that fast", panted Phineas after a while of running after his pet.

Perry glanced back and his eyes softened, the bright red colour darkening back to a familiar dark red. "Sorry you guys", sighed the platypus and rubbed his head, "but Peter always gets me agitated. Coupled with the stress from today…Gosh I need a break." Ferb hopped up to Perry's side at that and placed a gentle wing on the platypus' arm. In answer Perry's beak curled into a thankful smile.

The group set off once more and finally they reached a couple of doors. The doors didn't look all that special, but Perry seemed to know where he went, since he immediately zeroed in on one of the doors and pushed it open. He walked in, followed by the former humans, who all froze in shock, gasps escaping them at what they saw. The room held just about everything. One side held quite a number of beds, on the other side were a pool, tables and chairs, bookcases and a small training area. Turning to Phineas, Ferb and Isabella, Perry explained: "We don't have that many new recruits right now, so most of the rooms in this wing are empty. This is already one of the smaller ones, so don't worry about that. If you need anything, the computer near the wall serves as a terminal for just about everything. I can give you a tour of the HQ if you want. We'd only need to wait a bit for a dear friend of mine."

Phineas was still busy taking in the awesome space that Perry called a room so Isabella asked: "A friend of yours?"

At this Perry smirked and answered: "You know him. He should be here…Ah, right on time." That was when they all heard paws thudding along the hallways thanks to the still open door. The steps got louder and finally a familiar tan dog appeared in the door.

Phineas' jaw dropped to the ground and Isabella gasped. Perry on the other hand just walked up to the other Agent and offered his fist. The Chihuahua bumped his own against it while the platypus greeted: "As punctual as ever Pinky."

Pinky let out a barking laugh at that and argued: "I need to make myself stand out through something, now don't I?"

Perry couldn't help the grin that spread over his face when Pinky appeared in the doorway. Walking past the stunned kids he held out his fist to his friend, who answered the fist-bump immediately. "As punctual as ever Pinky", teased the platypus.

Pinky barked out a laugh at that and argued: "I need to make myself stand out through something, now don't I?"

Glancing back at the kids, Perry found them still stunned, so he resolved to give them some more time and asked: "So, how was Poofenplotz today?"

Pinky snorted at that and answered: "That woman is so strange. She created an '-ificator' that would've created the perfect lipstick, one that would apparently allow her to control any man she kisses with it, but it needed fish-scales, FISH-SCALES of all things, to actually work. I mean seriously, what is it with the bad guys in Danville sometimes?"

Perry tilted his head at the heavily breathing Chihuahua and asked: "You done?"

At this he got a grin and Pinky answered: "I feel much better. Now…what was this about Isa getting involved with Doofenshmirtz?"

Before Perry could answer, a soft voice called out: "P-Pinky?"

Both Agents focused on the black cat that had spoken and Pinky's eyes widened. "Isa?", asked the dog back and took a step forward.

Isabella scanned the Chihuahua, then asked: "What….what happened to your collar?"

Pinky glanced down at the bright blue collar with the golden tag on his neck. "Oh, that." With a quick flip he revealed the pink collar with the silver tag that was on the other side. "This one clashes too much with the hat", answered the Chihuahua and quickly switched it back to blue. The next second he found himself with an armful of black fur.

Perry smiled while he watched pet and owner embrace and looked at Phineas and Ferb who smiled back at him. After a minute or two the two pulled apart and Isabella opened his mouth when Perry's watch interrupted her. Perry glanced at it and frowned when he read 'red alert'. Quickly motioning Pinky to his side, he pressed a button and Monogram's hologram appeared.

"Agent P, thank goodness I managed to reach you. And Agent Pinky is there too, good. I need you both out in Danville now. As it appears, Doofenshmirtz managed to recreate today's –inator."

"Since when is that guy so competent?", asked Pinky confused. Perry shrugged.

"He started flying through Danville with it, for some reason targeting especially kids and teenagers. I need you both to aid the other Agents in finding the animal-turned-humans and bringing them here. And if you can stop Doofenshmirtz along the way, it would be well appreciated." Both Agents saluted and the hologram disappeared.

Pinky turned to the three kids and ordered: "You three wait here where it's safe." The three of them nodded and Perry and Pinky rushed out of the room and through the hallways of the HQ. "Your house is closer to the HQ than mine, can I use your exit?", asked the dog once they reached the correct tube-system-entrance.

"Sure", answered Perry and leaped in. Pinky followed him and in less than a minute they both popped out of a bush in the Flynn-Fletcher backyard. There Perry already heard something that made his blood run cold.

"But Mom! You gotta believe me! It's me, Candace! Phineas and Ferb must've done this, I know it."

Now normally those words weren't any news to him, but normally they were spoken in the human tongue, not in meows and whimpers. "Lawrence why is that cat still here?", called Linda out suddenly.

Then there was a slamming noise and Candace shrieked: "MOM!"

Perry and Pinky exchanged a worried look, before both leaped out of the bush and hid behind the corner of the house. Peeking past it Perry's heart grew heavy. Standing there, looking like she was drowning in despair, was a white she-cat with fur that was incredible similar to Phineas', even if the red spots were a bit lighter. "Candace", hissed the platypus. The cat's ears twitched and she looked at him.

"Perry? Why do you have a hat?"

Perry refrained from rolling his eyes and answered: "I'll explain later. Come here, we need to get you somewhere safe."

"We?", asked the teenager, but made her way over to him. Pinky's head popped up behind Perry and the Chihuahua waved at her. "Pinky?", asked Candace surprised.

"Yeah…what Perry said. C'mon we need to get you out of here and back to HQ."

Candace blinked confused at those words, but still came towards them anyways. Leading her back to the bush, Perry turned to Pinky and asked: "Will you take her back? I'll continue looking." The Chihuahua nodded and leaped down the tube that Perry had just uncovered. Candace hesitated and glanced at Perry nervously. He looked back at her and gave her an encouraging nod. The cat took a deep breath and then leaped forward. Perry smiled proudly. She could be a pain sometimes, but Candace was one of the bravest people Perry knew.

He allowed himself to bask in his pride for his owners for a few seconds, before he refocused on his task and ran out of the backyard, keeping a good eye on the window to make sure neither Linda nor Lawrence saw him. He ran through the suburbs, catching occasional glances at some other Agents doing the same. He was just passing a familiar backyard when he heard it once more.

"Everything is going to be alright, Suzy." The voice and the name used were familiar, the caws and screeches the words were made up from not so much. Jumping up, Perry pulled himself onto the fence and looked down into the Johnson backyard. And indeed two animals stood there, one male and one female. The male was a blond falcon, the female a very young blonde poodle.

Standing up on the fence, Perry carefully balanced over to the door, then called: "Jeremy!" The falcon's head shot up and blue eyes focused on the platypus.

"Perry? Is that you?", asked the teenager surprised.

"Hat", giggled Suzy, prompting Perry to hold back another eye-roll. The girl couldn't fool him. He knew just about as much about her as Candace and Buford did. Matter of fact, he knew a little more since she was, already, on O.W.C.A.'s Watch-List.

"It's me and I'll explain later. But now I need to get you two out of here and somewhere where we can hopefully turn you back."

After his answer, Perry flipped off the fence and opened the door. Jeremy hopped out, followed by Suzy and Perry led them out onto the street. The next entrance to the HQ was nearby luckily, but they still would have to walk a whole block to reach it. They had almost reached it, when Perry heard two more familiar voices, before he also saw the animals they came from. He couldn't help it this time and facepalmed. Those two didn't even try to seem inconspicuous. They were arguing, loudly, on the sidewalk.

"Buford! Baljeet! Over here!", called Perry over the street and watched how the heads of the black monkey and the greyish-brown bulldog shot in his direction. Both blinked in surprise, but quickly crossed the street and Perry set off once more. Rounding one more corner, Perry led the along a few backyards to a big tree.

"Perry, where exactly are you leading us anyway?", asked Jeremy finally.

"And what's with the two legs and the hat?", added Buford.

Perry gave a soft sigh. What is it with humans and asking about my fedora when they see me? "You'll see soon enough", answered the platypus out loud and pressed his palm against the tree. It shook slightly, before one part of the bark moved away, to reveal an elevator-like room. "After you", said the Agent and held his hand out towards the tree.

Slowly the four animal-turned-humans walked in and Perry followed them quickly. He was about to close the bark, when a voice rang out. "Perry wait!" Looking out of the tree, he saw a green lizard in a fedora run up to him, followed by a skunk and an animal that Perry recognized as a genet, an animal that hails from Africa.

"Hey there Leon, looks like you had luck as well", greeted Perry once the lizard reached him.

"Oh you got no idea", groaned Leon out. "That genet-turned-girl? It was a pain to get her out of her treehouse. I can see why she turned into one aside from being part-African." Perry reached out to give the bright green lizard an encouraging pat on the back and moved to close the tree once more. Everything went dark for a second, before the lights of the elevator went on and it started to move.

Perry and Leon shared a smirk when they heard the surprised exclamation the former humans gave when they started moving through O.W.C.A.'s tunnel system. A few minutes later the elevator dinged and opened to a hallway in the HQ. At the same time another elevator opened and Perry blinked surprised when Pinky staggered out and ran for safety. He didn't even need to ask since a pile of small, wrestling animals rolled out soon after. Leon next to him snickered into his hand. Pinky, having heard that of course, turned to snarl the lizard. "Shut up and help me!" That only caused Leon to burst out laughing, soon followed by Buford.

Perry rolled his eyes, then looked at Pinky and said: "Cover your ears." Pinky tilted his head at him, before he nodded in understanding and flattened his ears against his head before pressing his hands against them. Perry lifted to fingers to his mouth and let out a high, sharp whistle. Immediately the wrestling pile of animals froze and the dove and nightingale with them felt safe to land on the ground.

Scanning the pile of animals Perry finally recognized their species. It were an orangish mouse, a tan gecko with brown along his spine and a pale brown Chinchilla with golden streaks on her tail and ears. Taking a deep breath so he wouldn't snap at them, because goddammit Perry needed a break, he calmly said: "Please cease this behaviour. You are here the O.W.C.A. HQ and you were brought here so we could help you all return to normal. We have rooms for you that will fulfil all your needs, but if you misbehave, we also have a few very comfy cells around here, clear?"

"Crystal", squeaked the mouse in a voice that Perry recognized as Irving, Phineas' and Ferb's self-proclaimed greatest fan.

Great, thought the platypus dryly, then he turned around and instructed: "You follow Pinky, Leon and myself. We'll lead you to your room." He jerked his head back around, red eyes narrowed. "Don't wander off." Then he set off.

After a few seconds of silence Pinky finally muttered: "I'd say you handled that well but…not after halfway through your speech."

"Yeah, that wasn't very much like you", agreed Leon.

Perry sighed softly and rubbed his forehead. "Sorry you guys. It's just, I barely had any sleep tonight and with everything that happened today…all I really want to do right now is curl up somewhere and go to sleep."

Pinky placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed it slightly, before he continued: "Still thanks Perry, you did handle this better than I did."

"Or than I could've", added Leon.

Perry smiled at his friends at that and answered: "Thanks guys, but just helped out a friend."

"I know, but it's no secret, and everyone knows it for a fact, that Monogram calls you O.W.C.A.'s best Agent. And he does it for a reason." Leon nodded in agreement with Pinky's words.

Perry sighed at that and argued: "I'm still just doing my job you know." He saw how Pinky rolled his eyes at that, then glanced down at his watch. A room-number was displayed on it. "Change of course guys. Looks like the first room got to small."

"That's no surprise", muttered Pinky while they walked down another hallway. "When I made my way back from bringing Candace here, I came across Lester ushering two more cats along."

Both Perry and Leon looked at Pinky surprised. "Lester's back already?", asked Leon. Perry nodded his head along. The lemur-agent hadn't been expected back till next week.

"Yeah, something about the family reunion ending early because of cousin Julian or something like that. I'm not sure but that's what I managed to gather", answered Pinky.

Perry nodded in understanding, when the skunk suddenly asked: "Are we there yet?" Her voice was impatient and bratty and caused the two furred agents' fur to bristle.

"Almost", answered Pinky. And true to form, they rounded one more corner and came across a wide open double-door.

Quite the number of animals were already gathered and Leon exclaimed: "Good god, did Doofenshmirtz hit half the kids in the city?"

Perry didn't have the heart to inform him that that number wasn't even half the kids in the suburbs.

"…and what if Mom needs something. And what about Stacy. And oh god what is Jeremy going to think and-"

Phineas beat Perry to the punch in cutting his sister's panicked rambling off and the terrier soothed: "Candace calm down. I'm sure it's gonna be alright."

"Alright?! Does this look like alright to you?"

"Candace?"

The cat spun around and her eyes widened. "Jeremy!"

Perry stepped to the side and leaned against the wall, Pinky copying him while Leon left the room again. He listened with half an ear to the conversations between the former humans while at the same time relayed Carl's message that Doofenshmirtz had finally stopped blasting kids and had disappeared somewhere to Pinky. That knew text-message-receiver on his watch was truly ingenious. The two agents waited a few more minutes to see if anyone else would come, before the nodded to each other and closed the doors.

The dull thud was enough to make everyone in the room shut up and turn to the two Agents.

Perry cleared his throat slightly, then began: "Now, I'm sure you are all confused about just what is going on here. And like I promised some of you already, you will get your explanation now. At the moment you are in a Recruits-Room at the O.W.C.A. HQ, the headquarters of the Organisation Without a Cool Acronym. You can laugh, I know it's funny." He paused for a second to let the few laughs that had appeared sound out.

"The O.W.C.A. is an organization that deploys animal agents in the United States, and in a few other parts of the world too, but we are most prominent in the US. Our Organisation is dedicated to defeating evil and mischief. Several of our animal agents are disguised as household pets, including myself and Agent Pinky here." Pinky nodded at the group.

"As to what happened today. Quite some Agents have their own nemesis to deal with on a daily basis. Today I'm afraid Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz, an assigned nemesis, managed to do a lot more damage than usual. He was the one who flew over Danville and turned you all into animals. At this very moment O.W.C.A.'s best scientists are working on a way to turn you all back into humans so you may return to your homes. What I need from you all now, is that you introduce yourselves to me since we need to create a cover for your families. Any volunteers to start things of?"

Most animals shifted nervously and Perry was about to simply call someone out, when a familiar terrier stepped forward. "Phineas Flynn", said the dog loudly and clearly. Pinky, who had a notebook out, scribbled down the young inventors name. "And this is my stepbrother Ferb Fletcher." Phineas gestured to the green-winged owl.

Candace stepped next to her brothers and called: "Candace Flynn."

That seemed to break the dam, since Jeremy hopped up next to her and said: "Jeremy Johnson, and this is my little sister Suzy." He held a blonde wing out to the small poodle, drawing shudders from Candace and Buford.

Isabella leaped forward next and called: "Isabella Garcia-Shapiro."

"Gretchen Martinez", said the light brown cat next to Isabella, followed by the blonde: "Katie Young."

"I'm Milly Harris", went a light-brown-greyish cat on.

"Ginger Hirano", said a black cat followed by another black with long and fluffy fur.

"Holly Nelson it is", stated the cat and then the last cat around Isabella, a brown cat with red collar, said: "I'm Adyson Sweetwater."

"So the Fireside girls all got turned into cats", murmured Pinky while he continued noting the names.

"Kinda ironic", agreed Perry, remembering that technically Candace was a Fireside Girl as well.

The nightingale suddenly glided forward and landed next to Ginger. "I'm Stacy Hirano, Ginger's older sister."

"And I'm Jenny Brown", added the dove serenely. The gecko next to her rolled his eyes good-naturedly and added: "I'm Django Brown, her little brother."

"Buford Van-Stomm!", shouted the bulldog suddenly, scaring the majority of the room half to death.

The monkey next to him glanced around worriedly, then muttered: "Baljeet Tjinder."

"I'm Irving Du Bois", called the mouse out cheerfully.

Perry nodded slowly and let his eyes wander over the group that had introduced themselves already. Those were the former humans he knew already. Now his attention wandered to the remaining five newcomers and he raised an eyebrow, prompting them to talk. To his surprise, it was the skunk who got herself together first and said: "Leonie Müller, I just moved here two weeks ago from Austria."

"Oh! Where the kangaroos are?", exclaimed Buford.

The skunk glared at him and growled: "Austria, not Australia you dolt! We don't have any Kangaroos in the middle of Europe except for in zoos!"

Sensing that a fight was about to break out, Perry quickly stepped in and growled: "Cut it out, both of you. Buford, do me a favour and try to think before you act, Leonie, try to keep your temper under control. Don't forget what kind of animal you got turned into." At this the, obviously, teenager blanched and curled her black and white tail around herself.

Turning back to the remaining for animals, the genet, the chinchilla, a fox and strangely familiar looking wolf, Perry crossed his arms and looked at the expectantly. The fox took the leap this time and explained: "Thomas Morgan, I'm in the same homeroom as Candace, Stacy and Jenny over there." He pointed to the three girls, who had looks of realisation on their faces. The genet went next.

"Amelia Wood, same explanation as Morgan."

The chinchilla hesitated a little, then softly answered: "Tamara Savić…uh…I..."

"I know you", exclaimed Phineas. "You're the new girl that came into our class a few weeks before summer."

The chinchilla nodded shyly and lowered her head. Perry smiled down at her as gently as he could and she actually smiled back a little. Then he turned his attention to the last member of the group. "And your name would be?", prompted the platypus.

The wolf grinned brightly at that and answered, in a very familiar voice: "Oh come now Agent P? You can't recognize me?"

It must have looked rather comical how both Perry's own and Pinky's jaw almost dropped to the ground when they recognized the voice. Pinkies notebook and pen clattered to the ground, then the Chihuahua stammered: "But…you…how…he…are you really…"

"Monty?", breathed Perry in disbelieve.

Monty Monogram gave the platypus another bright grin and saluted playfully. "Yes and ready for orders Agent."

"Monogram is going to kill us", whispered Pinky from behind.

Glancing back at his friend, Perry found him holding his head in his hands and argued: "Kill us? Kill me more likely, you aren't even in his division Pinky."

"Can I cut in here and ask just why your boss would kill you Perry?", asked Phineas now.

Perry sighed deeply and held a hand out to the wolf. "Everyone, this is Monty Monogram, first and only son of the commanding officer of my division in O.W.C.A. Major Monogram." Multiple jaws dropped at that explanation and Monty snickered to himself. Perry bit back a groan. It was obvious the animal-turned-commanding officer in training was having a blast right now.

Suddenly, just like a few hours ago, Perry's watch rang once more. Pinky was over by his side immediately and the hologram sprung up without Perry even accepting the call. Major Monogram appeared, looking exhausted.

"Agent P there is an emergency", shouted the man. "Doofenshmirtz broke into the HQ. He's in the lobby right now, shooting agents left and right and he'll soon be closer to the centre and-" A loud cry behind him cut the man off and he spun around. "He hit Carl!" Spinning back to look at his Agent he ordered: "Agent P gather every available Agent you can find and top Doofenshmirtz, stats!"

Monogram didn't even allow Perry to reply before the feed cut off. Perry sprang into action immediately. Both he and Pinky spun to the closed door and were about to run out, when Phineas blocked his way. "No Phineas you are not coming along!", growled the platypus impatiently at his owner.

"But we can help Perry, besides, he can obviously come!"

Perry glanced to where Phineas pointed at the door, exactly where Monty and Pinky were waiting for him. The Major's son was shakily getting on two legs so he would really be able to help. Turning back to Phineas he bit out: "You aren't trained and have no idea what you'd be dealing with Phineas. There is a slight chance that Doofenshmirtz blasting you again could turn you back, but there is also the chance that things could get even worse. It's too dangerous to take any of you with me. Monty is better trained than that rookie squirrel we saw today. And he's my boss' son. I can't order him around. You guys on the other hand, are guests here and so you follow the rules, my rules in this case."

"But-", tried the terrier.

"No buts", cried Perry back and grabbed Phineas' shoulders. "Don't you get it?! I couldn't take it if anything else happened to you Phineas. If I take you with me, I won't be able to focus and most definitely get hit, because I'll only worry about you. Stay here, we'll be back!"

Then he jumped over his owner's head and rushed out the door. Pinky, while following him, gave a quick yell of: "Same goes for you Isa!" Then the door closed behind the two agents and Monty and they rushed down the hallways of the HQ.
