Jasper/Bella Twilight one shot. Jasper returns to Forks a year after they left needing some time alone. What he finds in their old house will change is world as he knew it. Mature content.
He needed to get away. It had been almost a year since they left Forks. Since he fucked up and ruined everything. His family was never happy anymore. Edward was gone most of the time, Carlisle spent most of his time working and Esme wasn't the smiling mother anymore. Emmett was stuck in a dark cloud of depression and it was affecting Rose. Alice, well Alice and I had never been in love. Only companions to fight the loneliness of being un mated. I loved her but was never in love with her. She wasn't my mate and I wasn't hers. Now she can't even look at me. The loss of Bella in our family had a bigger impact then I thought it would. She was missed greatly by everyone and everyone was pissed at me for fucking up and Edward for being the selfish prick he is and making everyone leave.
The emotions in the house were killing me and I needed a break before I killed someone. Tossing the bear to the ground I sighed, full. Yeah I needed a break and I need one somewhere that Alice couldn't see me. Forks was the only place that I knew of that messed with her vision because of the wolves. I could go back to the old house for a while, just to get a break.
With my decision made I ran, ran fast as I could to Forks. When I was a few miles from the house I wrinkled my nose, the wolves must know I was here.
Sure enough a few minutes later three large men came jogging out of the woods and growled.
"Cullen. What are you doing back here?" Sam ask me and I could feel the large amounts of anger rolling off the three young men.
"It's only me back for now. I needed a break from my family so I'm going to be staying in our old house. I won't go into town I just needed to take a break." I told them. They looked at each other for a moment and I could tell they were hiding something.
"Have you any fucking idea what you all did. Do you? You ruined Bella's life." Paul spat and Sam had to almost restrain him from jumping me.
"I don't know what happened between her and my brother when we left. Edward thought it best that we leave her alone so she could have a safe and normal life." I explained and Paul snorted.
"A lot of good that did. He left her broken, crying on the forest floor all night. We found her barely alive that morning. She hasn't been right since. Running on auto pilot. She barley ate, she didn't go back to school, she was like a fucking zombie. Then those other vampires came for her and." He said but I growled.
"What other vampires?" I ask.
"I don't know their names. A red-head and one with dreads. They came for Bella. We keep her safe for months until a couple of days ago." Sam said and I tensed. What had we done?
"What happened?" I ask.
"Like you give a shit, but since you'll find out soon enough well tell you. We took out the one with the dreads but he was just a diversion. The red-head made it to Bella's house. Killed Charlie in front of Bella, Almost killed Jake and was in the process of draining Bella when we finally arrived and took her out." Paul told me and my stomach dropped.
"She's. Dead?" I ask.
"Might as well me. She turned and has locked herself in your old house. She refuses to see anyone and won't eat or whatever it is you do. We kill animals and leave them for her on the porch and keep watch over the house in case she gets the urge to run towards the town." Sam said and I was running towards the house as fast as I could. I had to see Bella.
I passed another wolf on the way as I made it to the house. I could see the dead animals on the porch. She had drained a few but not near enough for a newborn to survive on.
Opening the back door I gasp. Her scent had changed and filled the house with the most amazing smell I had ever run across. She smelled good as a human but as a Vampire, damn.
Tracking her scent I was surprised to find she was holed up in my old room. I knew she could sense me as I heard her low, warning growl as I slowly opened the door. There she was huddled in the corner of my old room, shivering in fear. I could tell she didn't recognize me and it made her appear like a frightened animal. I felt sick knowing she had to turn on her own and then had no one there when she woke to take care of her.
As I walked into the room I could feel the fear and need to protect herself roll off her in waves. As expected she pounced the moment she saw me moving closer to her. I was ready for it through. I twisted around as she knocked us to the floor and I turned and pinned her face first to the floor with my teeth at her neck.
Her smell was even better up close and I had a hard time controlling my body's reaction to the smell of her and the feel of her fighting under me.
"Darlin. Not that I don't enjoy what you're doing sweetheart, but you need to calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." I told her in her ear and I gently started purring which shocked the hell out of me. I have never purred.
My Mate. Bella was my mate. Only your mate can make you purr and here I was purring away at Bella who slowly relaxed against me.
"That's it darlin." I told her when she started purring back to me and pushing her body into me and I hissed when her ass brushed against me.
"Jasper?" she ask in question and I slowly turned her over and looked down at her.
"It's me darlin." I told her.
God she was gorgeous. She had filled out and curves in all the right places, her hair was thick, wavy and long down to her middle back and had red highlights in it and her eyes were black with either hunger or lust, maybe both. Damn she was perfect.
"What, what are you doing here?" she ask panting as she looked me over. I knew she saw my scars but un like Alice they didn't bother her and I could see her body was tense with want. She wanted me and I wanted her. Badly.
"I needed a break for the dark cloud of emotions that has settled over our family since we left you. I thought I could stay here for a while until I decided what I was going to do next." I told her.
"Is it just you?" she ask and I nodded and she breathed a sigh of relief. Her emotions were evening out now and staying on hunger and lust, or maybe it was mine.
"Sam and Paul told me what happened to you when I was running towards the house. I am so sorry Bella. It was all my fault that everything has happened to everyone." I told her and she shook her head quickly.
"It was never your fault Jasper. I never blamed you. It's that rat bastard Edward's fault and the rest of them for leaving me without so much as a fuck you." she spat and I was shocked at her new language. She had changed.
"Well, I can't argue with you there darlin. But in their defense they fought to stay but Edward made them leave." I said moving my body closer to her and inhaling her sweet smell of Vanilla and honey.
"Jasper?" she said and I looked up at her.
"Yes Darlin." I ask running my nose along her neck and smelling her deeply, she groaned.
"I need." She said and I hummed.
"What, do you need what sweetheart." I ask and ran my hand down her sides and gripped her hips, pulling them against me.
"I don't know. But I need something. Please." She begged and I knew what she needed and I was more than happy to give it to her, but I need to take care of her hunger first.
Growling I captured her lips in a deep kiss, plunging my tongue deep in her mouth. Her tasted exploded in my mouth and it was better than any blood I had ever tasted.
She moaned loudly and griped my long blonde hair tight as she tried to climb into me. I knew her newborn instincts were taking over, coupled with the instinct of being close to her mate was making her delirious with need not to mention she was borderline of starving right now.
With great difficulty I slowed our kiss and pulled back holding her to the floor when she whimpered and went to attack again.
"Calm down Darlin. I'll be more than happy to fulfill all your needs my beautiful newborn mate. But first you need to feed honey." I told her purring to her again to get her to calm down. Closing her eyes she took a few deep breathes and nodded but her eyes popped open again.
"Mate?" she ask me and I nodded.
"Yes, I recognized it from your smell and the fact that we are purring at each other. Only mates can do that." I told her and her emotions bounced all over the place.
"What about Alice?" she ask with a ping of pain at saying Alice's name and I sighed.
"Alice and I were only ever friends. We did sleep together from time to time when we felt lonely but we were never mates." I told her and she gave a low growl at the thought of me with anyone else and I purred again to soothe her.
"No need to growl darlin. I'm your mate and as your mate it's my job to make sure all your needs are taken care of. The most important being your hunger." I told her standing and pulling her up to stand.
I looked her over and I could tell she was still wearing the clothes she was attacked in a few days before. Going over to my closet I pulled out one of my button down shirts and handed it to her to wear. Her current shirt was ripped in several places but her pants were still ok. She could wear my things until I was able to order her more stuff her size.
A low growl ripped from my throat as she ripped off her old shirt and slipped into mine. The view of her chest in just a bra had me stone hard.
"Jasper. I need help." She said and I chuckled. Her newborn strength made her afraid to try and button the shirt herself so I gladly went over and slowly did up each button before smoothing the shirt down. It was too big for her but I was loving the sight of her in my clothes.
"Let's go hunting darlin." I told her and she smiled in excitement and nodded.
We ran side by side for miles, passing some of the wolves along the way. They nodded to me seeing as I was now the one taking care of Bella and they didn't have to worry any longer.
Bella was a natural at hunting and she hunted really clean as well, which surprised me. Most newborns were messy as hell but Bella was able to feed from 5 deer without making a mess of my shirt and I was proud of her.
"Feel better now?" I ask her and she nodded as we buried the bodies and raced back to the house.
I let Bella shower and change into more of my things while I ordered a ton of new clothes for her that I thought she would like, newborns tended to go through a lot of clothes in the first year while they got use to their strength. I checked my email and rolled my eyes at all the emails from Alice wanting to know where I was. I deleted those not wanting to deal with my family right now.
"Jasper." I heard Bella call from the doorway and I looked up from the computer and I gasp. Bella was standing there in nothing but one of my white button up shirts that stop mid thigh, her hair was damp from her shower and her smell was filling the room quickly. Damn.
I noticed she was fighting and was very tense. All things very common with newborns. Their emotions and thoughts are so scattered that they feel the need to be on consistent alert.
"Come here Darlin." I said motioning for her with my hand. She was in front of me in seconds with her new speed and she giggled a little at the rush she got from moving so fast.
"I believe I gave you shorts to try on too darlin?" I said looking her over from head to toe from where she stood in front of me. She smirked and straddled my lap in a bold move that the human Bella wouldn't have been able to do.
"I don't want to wear clothes right now Jasper. I have all these feeling rushing through me and I don't know how to stop them but I feel you're the only one that can help. Is that normal?" she ask confused and I nodded running my hands up and down her back and pulling her closer to me cause her to purr some.
"Very normal." I told her before capturing her mouth in another deep kiss. How my idiot brother was able to leave Bella was beyond me but I'm glad he drop the ball because I more than happy to pick it up and love Bella the way she deserves for the rest of eternity.
We kissed like we had been lovers for years. Her hands made quick work of my shirt and slide of off my shoulders, running her hands lovingly along my scars and I felt so much love for her at that moment for accepting me and my flaws.
I slide my shirt off her shoulders living her naked in my lap and I took a moment too look her over. She was perfection. Her skin was perfect compared to mine. All that marked her was the bite from James but I have my mark on her before the night was up.
When she started whimpering in need again I stood with her and she wrapped her legs around my waist as I carried her over towards my bed.
We fell on it and I landed on top of her with my lips attached to her breast. She purred and moaned and I kissed, nipped and sucked on both her beautiful globes before moving down the bed and down her body.
It didn't take long to drive her to orgasm when my mouth on her sex and I drank in the delicious taste of her venom as it poured out of her.
I quickly sheded my pants before kissing back up her body and laying between her spread thighs.
"Ready darlin?" I ask her and she nodded before gasping in pain as I thrust into her and stilled.
"You're a virgin?" I ask in shock. Surly her and Edward. Nodding she whimpered a little as the pain started to slowly receded as I purred for her to relax.
"You should have said something darlin. I didn't know I through you and Edward." I told her and she shook her head quickly.
"He wouldn't touch me." she said and I rolled my eyes. What a dumb ass.
"Well, I definitely have no issues with touching you and I plan to do it often. Ready?" I ask her and she nodded wrapping her legs around my waist as her newborn need started growing again.
"Please." She whimpered in frustration and I smirked as I started thrusting into her. I started slow at first but I could feel her need grown with my own and before long we were both moving quickly, my gift out of control as I lost the ability to hang onto it. Bella felt so good. So amazing and I had never felt please and peace as I did now.
When I felt her tighten and she let out a primal growl as her orgasm washed over her and sunk my teeth into her neck pushing my venom into her, marking her as mine. She purred in content and I growled as I felt her teeth marking me as well and I lost my hold on my own orgasm then and went over the edge, spilling my venom inside her, collapsing on her chest.
"Never as a vampire have I ever felt winded but you manage to drain me girl." I joked as we panted, trying to caught un needed breath. She giggled and I shifted and moved to lay beside her and wrapped her in my arms.
"Is it always like that. Intense I mean?" she ask a little while later.
"Yes, with mates it is and your immediate need will lessen after your newborn year and you're able to get back to normal. The need for each other will always be there and when were together like this is will always be explosive." I explained and she nodded, snuggling into me more.
"What are we going to do when it's time for you to head back to your family?" she ask me a few days later. We had spent the days pretty much wrapped into each other, making love all over the house and hunting as much as we could to satisfy her newborn hunger.
I looked down at her from where she was laying in my lap and we were reading books and just relaxing, naked in our room. Even through her clothes I ordered had arrived most of the time we went without clothes. It was easier than her constantly ripping our clothes when her sexual need arose.
"Do you want to live with the family?" I ask her and she thought for a moment, her emotions everywhere before she shook her head.
"No, I can't. Not right now at least. And I don't know if I'll ever be able too. It hurt so much when everyone left without so much as a good bye. And then there's Edward and Alice. I'm afraid I'll want to rip Alice apart because you have a past with her and I don't like it and Edward I just want to rip apart because of how he hurt me. Besides they didn't want me anyways. Edward told me that." She said and I frowned at her.
"Come again? Edward told you what?" I ask and she sat up and spun to face me.
"That I was only a distraction for your family to amuse themselves with. That Edward only wanted me because he couldn't read my mind and that your family never really wanted me to be a part of their lives permanently." She said and I gapped in shock. How could he be so cruel and lie like that.
"Darlin, he was lying about everything. The family never wanted to leave and I can tell you they have been saddened since then. I had already left after I almost attacked you and Edward made the others leave. Said we were too dangerous to be around you anymore and that you needed a clean break. None of us knew what he told you, but he said you understood and would be able to move on. Edward did love you, and still does and yes when he finds out about us he's going to flip out but I won't let you go now that I've found you." I told her pulling her towards me and giving her a kiss.
"Please, don't ever leave me Jasper. I wouldn't survive it." She told me and I sent her a wave of love from me.
"You never have to worry. I anit going anywhere darlin." I assured her and she nodded and kissed me again before pulling back.
"as far as Alice is concerned you don't have to worry about that. I have no desire to be with her ever again. The only reason we ever there sexually together was because we were lonely and waiting for our mates. Your feelings towards her will never go away but I want you to know I'd never hurt you like that and once Alice does find her mate then you won't feel the need to kill her so much. I imagine I'll feel the same way if you were to ever be around Edward again." I told her and she nodded and snorted.
"You defiantly don't need to worry. All I want to do with Edward is rip his head off. I have so much hate for him inside me that I don't know if I'll ever be able to move on from that. He didn't just break my heart he took my family from me, left me alone and I lost Charlie because of it and I was turned into a vampire alone. What he did and caused by his actions because he thought he had a right to tell me what I should and should not do is something he can never apologize for." She said and I felt the hurt and anger roll off her and I rubbed her back to calm her down.
"That's completely understandable darlin and I'll stand by and hold him for you if you do decide to rip his head off." I told her and she chuckled before kissing my lips quickly again.
"But this still doesn't decide what happens when the family wants you back. I don't want to lose you but I don't think I can live with them right now." She said worry radiating off her.
"Hush darlin. Don't worry. I've already sent Carlisle and email letting him know that I wouldn't be returning for a long while that I found my mate and want to spend time with them. I won't leave you sweetheart, ever. We can stay here as long as you want or go to one of my other places until you feel like you can be around humans again and then we can travel, go to school do whatever you want. And one day when you're ready we can take a trip to see the family and deal with Edward and see if you want a relationship with any of them. If not then that's fine will never go back. It doesn't matter to me as long as I have you." I told her and she sighed in relief before sliding into my lap and I groaned as she lowered herself onto me all talking down with.
We stayed in the house in Forks for over a month in complete peace, we even found out Bella had a gift, she was a shield and I powerful one at that and we worked daily to make sure she knew how to use it if she ever needed to. Everything was great until one day we were laying in bed after another round of love making when I heard a car pull up. Jumping up I cursed when I saw it was Carlisle, Rose and Edward's cars all pulling up to the house.
"Looks like the whole family decided to check on me." I told her and she gasp standing quickly and looking outside to see them pulling up and parking. I felt the cover of Bella's shield slide over me on instinct to protect her mate from those she deems a danger and I gave her a kiss in thanks, glad Edward wouldn't be able to read my mind until Bella removes her shield.
"Get dressed darlin. Looks like we have to deal with this sooner than I wanted." I told her as I pulled my pants on and I smirked and all Bella put on was my shirt and her panties.
"Minx." I called her and she giggled.
"I'm not ashamed Jasper and I want them to know what we've been doing this whole time and that I belong to you." she told me as we heard the car doors open and close and I kissed her deeply for her devotion. I could feel she was trying to keep calm but one wrong move from anyone would set my little newborn off.
"If she touches you Jasper. I'll kill her." She told me and knew she was talking about Alice and I nodded.
"Ditto." I told her meaning Edward and she gave a nod as I heard the family call my name from down stairs.
"Follow me in a few moments." I told her and she nodded and fidgeted in nervousness as I left the room and headed down stairs, shirtless since the minx stole mine.
"Well, well well. Smells like you've been having a great time Jazz." Emmett said and I knew they could all smell sex all over the house. We have been doing mainly that since the first day here.
"Still a pig Bro." I told her and he gave me a mainly hug. Alice bounced up to me with a large smile on her face and I stepped back quickly and put my hands up to stop her from touching me, she looked hurt but I really didn't care.
"That would not be a good idea Alice." I told her and she pouted.
"why not." She ask and I rolled my eyes.
"My mate as made it clear that if you touch me she will kill you." I told her and Alice gasp in shock before stepping back and standing next to Esme nodding.
"Ok, I understand." Alice said and I nodded, good.
"How have you been. You haven't responded to any of our calls or emails since you told me you weren't coming back home. We were worried." Carlisle said and I could see Edward frowning as he tried to read my thoughts.
"There was nothing more to say. My mate doesn't want to be a part of the family right now and I refuse to leave her." I said and Esme stepped forward but didn't touch me.
"Why doesn't she want to be around us Jasper? I don't understand. Have we done something to her?" she said and I felt Bella the moment she appeared at the top of the steps.
"Only ruined my life is all and broke me almost beyond repair." She said and their eyes snapped to Bella and they gasp as she descended the stairs and stood at my side, my arm automatically going around her waist.
"Bella. Oh honey. How did this happen?" Esme ask walking forward and Bella tensed ready to attack so I pushed her behind me and Esme stopped as Carlisle pulled her back towards him sensing the danger.
"Bella is a newborn Esme. Not a good idea to try and touch her or get to close. No sudden movements or outburst either." I said giving Edward a warning look as I felt his anger rolling off him in waves so strong I almost growled.
"What have you done?" Edward hissed before he was thrown back and hit the wall leaving a dent as Bella shoved him back with her shield and stood next to me fuming.
"How dare you even think of accusing him of anything? This is your fault Edward." She hissed and growled and the others step back further and Edward laid on the ground staring at her in shock.
"I didn't turn Bella Edward. I came back here for some time alone and was stopped by the wolves on the way here to let me know that we left Bella broken, depressed and zombie like. That we left her unprotected and Victoria got to her. Killed Charlie and tried to drain Bella but she was stopped by the wolves killing her and leaving Bella to change on her own. When I got here she was starving, scared and sitting in the corner of my room afraid to move." I explained and I could see the family's face and feel their emotions. They were so sorry for causing this and wished there was something they could have done to stop it. Even Rose felt bad for Bella.
"Oh Bella. We didn't know." Esme said and Bella rolled her eyes.
"Well I guess it's hard to know anything when you up and leave without so much as a fuck you." Bella spat, her newborn anger getting the best of her and I pulled her back into my arms and purred into her ear to calm her. The others watched in awe as we interacted.
"You're mated to my brother now?" Edward ask standing and Bella nodded pulling her shirt to the side to show off my bite mark and Edward frowned, he was not happy.
"Don't even think about saying anything Edward. You will set her off and I won't stop her from killing you like she wants very badly right now. You had your chance and you left her. She's mine now." I told him and he growled at me and sprung and I met him in the middle and took him down and held him to the ground. He was worthless without his gift and since Bella had me shielded he was easy to take down.
"You can't beat me Edward. Bella has my mind shielded from you because she doesn't trust any of you anymore. How could you tell her the family only wanted her as a toy and was done playing with her? How could you hurt her like that if you loved her so much? You crushed her and she hates you for it. Bella is my mate and you will stay away or I will end you." I growled the Major coming to the surface to protect his mate. I heard the family gasp when they heard what Edward told Bella and they were mad now.
"You told her what?" Rose hissed as I let Edward stand but kept Bella behind me as I crouched ready for another attack.
"I wanted her to have a clean break. Hate us so she could move on. I lied that day but I thought it was for the best." He explained and Bella snorted in laughter as she peeked around me and sneered at him.
"That's always been your problem Edward. You acted like my father instead of my boyfriend trying to make my choices for me. Well, guess what Edward. I have been thinking for myself for a long time before you came into my life and you have no right to decided what was best for me on anything. That's not how a relationship works and Jasper's right. I hate you with everything in me right now. I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive you or any of you but right now I really can't stand to look at any of you." she said and I back Bella up towards the steps.
"Bella and I are leaving. Don't follow us or try to find us. When Bella's ready on day maybe we will find you and visit. Until then Bella is my only focused right now." I warned and they all nodded and allow us to pack our things.
Alice tried coming to talk to me as I loaded up my truck with all our things and Bella finished up in our room.
"Jasper please don't leave and just disappear. I'm sure Bella will be fine after a while and I'd really like you two to be here. I miss you Jasper." She said and went to hug me. But Bella's growl stilled her and before I could blink Bella was standing between me and her former best first and hand Alice by the throat.
"If you ever fucking touch him in any way again I will burn you. He is mine not yours so back off bitch." She spat before shoving Alice up onto the porch.
"Let's go killer." I chuckled as I pulled her to into the truck as the family helped a stunned Alice off the ground. Bella was growling and I knew if we didn't leave now she would not be able to control herself anymore so I buckled her in and drove off and away from the family and I actually felt a peace not being under there shadow anymore.
We spent a lot of time alone in my home in Colorado back in the mountains. Peter and Charlotte came to visit a month after we arrived and they never left. They loved Bella and loved how happy I was with her.
About 5 years after Bella was turned we got a wedding invitation. Apparently Edward and Alice helped each other lick their wounds and ended up mating and now we're getting married and wanted us to be there. Bella agreed as long as we stayed somewhere ourselves so I rented a house up in Canada where the family was staying and we made the flight out there now that Bella was better at being near humans.
The wedding was over the top like Alice wanted and Bella rolled her eyes at all the gaudy pink that she had everywhere. Bella met the Denali's and the rest of our extended family. We spent time with the family but I could tell Bella would always consider them my family and not hers. She was getting better though. She talked with Carlisle, Esme, Rose and Emmett while we were there and she made small talk with Edward and Alice but she still wouldn't let Alice near me and I felt the same about Edward. I don't think those feelings will ever change.
After promising to visit more often we headed back home where Peter and Charlotte were waiting. Back to our lives and our happiness.
