As Airi was escaping toward the stairs, Akemi was busying trying to let herself out of the cuffs, but the four saint beasts that were surrounding a globe ball that showed them the intruders became aware of her fleeing. "Stop her!" yelled the leader of the four. With her knife in hand, Akemi tossed her knife directly at the pursuer and cut him with her knife. He turned to look at her with rage set ablaze in his eyes. She recoiled back to a corner of the bed as far from Seiryuu, the one she injured and was able to draw blood.
"ENOUGH! LEAVE SEIRYUU BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING! NOW GENBU GO PURSUE OUR LITTLE ESCAPED BIRD!" ordered the leader.
As she watched Seiryuu and Genbu chase after their target, Akemi thought to herself, "Please be safe and find help! Please Lord protect her!" Her train of thought was cut off when the leader came close to her. "You will never be able to defeat Urameshi Yusuke. You are doomed to be defeated Suzaku of the four saint beast! He will kick your ass!" said Akemi as Suzaku approached her.
"I would like to see him try when I decide to target what he loves most, but no matter his little band of fools are no match for the four saint beasts," proclaimed Suzaku.
"No matter what you do, even I can see on your crystal ball, that Yusuke is not alone. His team will defeat your old warriors, and he will be kicking your ass!" proclaimed Akemi as she tried her hardest to figure a new plan to get out of the cuffs and save her sister.
"You believe so why do you have so much faith? He brought a weakling that has very little spirit energy, a tiny three eyed demon that has no really strength and a pretty boy with no really power but a smell of both human and demon. Where do you see that I will lose?"
"A three eyed demon? Hiei! He must be talking about Hiei! OMG holy shit! I need to get out of here right now! What will I do?" thought Akemi as she showed a look of shock at the mention of Hiei. "You should never underestimate your opponents. The common mistake of bad guys or demons who think too highly of themselves is that they always underestimate their opponents which lead to their destruction! Asshole!" exclaimed Akemi as she stuck her tongue out at Suzaku.
"You and your sister will see firsthand what I am capable of! By the way, your sister was caught! How can she be so cruel as to leave her younger sister behind while she was freed? You should give up on the stupid thought of true love and kindness. It is a ridiculous notion."
"The thought was never really to escape, but to warn Yusuke of what is happening! Fool, you really underestimated us! My sister just needed to let Yusuke know what was happening and why we were taken before you tried anything! You truly don't realize that for years when we were born, we were taught the ways of the warrior, trained our bodies to their limits and passed, and adapted to new circumstances with each new strategy at hand! She would never leave me, and I would never leave her! So go hang yourself on your own stupid ideas and notions, because we don't give a shit what you think, asshole!" claimed Akemi as she smiled her most devilish evil master plan smile she had at Suzaku.
"AHHHHHHHH! BITCH! I HATE HUMAN WOMEN! BYAKKO, GO TO YOUR STATION AND BE READY IN CASE GENBU LOSES," ordered Suzaku as he went straight to watching what was happening on his giant television in one corner of the room.
"Yes, sir," said Byakko as he vanished behind the door.
"Sir, what shall I do with the prisoner?" asked Seiryuu, who had appeared on the television screen.
"Bring her back! She has ruined our plans! We will have to find another use for them both!"
"Yes, sir."
Meanwhile, Seiryuu was having trouble being able to control Airi. Airi was fighting Seiryuu every step of the way and forcing him to fight back with force. As Seiryuu was fighting Airi and trying to get her under control, Kurama had finished defeating Genbu, and it was time for Kuwabara's turn to fight Byakko. Kurama, Hiei, and Yusuke were so anxious and frustrated that they all volunteered to fight the tiger, but Kuwabara intervened and chose to fight instead.
"Dude, can you seriously fight this tiger thing?" asked Yusuke.
"Yeah, because if you lose, you don't only put your life in danger but everyone else, idiot! But then again one of us will have to pick up the slack. We shouldn't be leaving Akemi's life in the hands of a baboon." exclaimed Hiei under his breath as he turned away when Yusuke and Kuwabara looked at him with puzzlement on their faces.
"Yes, it is not wise to jump into something to quickly without a proper strategy. People's lives depend on you. Especially Airi and Akemi are depending on you!" exclaimed Kurama with a look of worry and frustration.
"WAIT A MINUTE! Why are you and Hiei so concerned about Akemi and Airi? How do you even know them? What relationship do you have with them?" inquired Yusuke as he was looking so puzzled at why the demons were so concerned over the girls.
"I don't need to explain myself to you, detective!" exclaimed Hiei as tried his hardest to hide his private and long since forgotten relationship from Yusuke.
"What? Hiei, you are not helping the situation by being only concerned about Akemi. Can he not control himself enough to hide the past? UGH! Yusuke is going to find out, but we must keep it a secret just a little longer. How can I best do that?" thought Kurama as he was trying to think up a strategy to misdirect Yusuke. "Yusuke, the girls go to my school. They are only classmates to me and acquaintances to Hiei, which he must have saw Akemi while tracking me down at school and Koenma thinks that these girls are special that is why he asked us to protect them," said Kurama as he tried not to lead Yusuke to believe that there was anything between him and Airi, along with Hiei and Akemi.
"I don't believe you, but I will just save that for later! Right now we have a world to save!" exclaimed Yusuke.
"Yeah let's stop messing around and go! I've got this. So let me do it! Geez you guys act like you don't have any faith in me," exclaimed Kuwabara with an excited look.
"Alright, but when you die we will have a better chance at defeating him! Hahahaha Just kidding, don't die okay? We do have faith, very little faith but at least it is nothing," exclaimed Yusuke.
"Don't kid yourself, detective. He will probably die in 2 minutes if not less," said Hiei with a smirk on his face.
"HEY! I CAN BEAT YOU BOTH WHILE BLIND FOLDED!" exclaimed Kuwabara with a look of annoyance.
"Sure you can," said Yusuke.
"Enough, guys we don't have time," said Kurama with a look of really you guys are going to do this now.
As Kuwabara began his fight with Byakko and would later win, Seiryuu was battling Airi who was using a spell of protection from his ice attacks. "UGH! I won't get out of here with just protection spells. I need to use some attack spells, but I don't have much power in demon world, since they brought up the barrier that divides the two worlds. Long ago, there was no barrier which I could use my powers, but now the power is divided like the two worlds. Oh well! I got to try and have to try to save Akemi!" thought Airi as she concentrated on her protection barrier.
Airi raised her hands as if to block an attack and began to recite the incantation, "Music within my soul, light and darkness that coincides in balance, here my pleas come forth demonic energy that comes from one long ago. Demon seed grow and devour all…." As she was reciting the incantation, a white light mixed with black light began to swirl around her, but before she was able to finish her incantation, Suzaku came from behind and knocked her out.
"I asked you to do one simple thing and you couldn't even do that!" exclaimed Suzaku to Seiryuu. "Byakko was defeated by the big gorilla looking guy! Go to your position, and I will take over from here!"
"My lord Suzaku, I can handle this. I won't disappoint you!" claimed Seiryuu.
"Seiryuu, you do not know who these girls are. They are more than you think. I never said anything, because only I need to know who they are. I would consider never underestimating these girls, because they are more powerful than one thinks and add who they mated with makes them more powerful than any among us. Keep that in mind when you fight the intruders! I would assume they are the girls' protectors," exclaimed Suzaku as he picked up Airi and took her back to the tower.
Meanwhile, the team was now in Seiryuu's domain trying to defeat him. Now it was Hiei's turn to fight one of the four saint beasts! Back in the tower, Airi finally awakened from being hit in the head by Suzaku. "Oh great, I'm back in the tower!" exclaimed Airi.
"Welcome back. Did you have a nice trip?" asked Akemi while still being chained to the wall.
"That is seriously an odd question to ask, but sure I was able to get your knife from Seiryuu while he had me over his shoulders! Here," Airi held out her hand revealing the knife for Akemi to take and begin working on the cuffs again. "Akemi, we have a problem!" exclaimed Airi.
"What kind of problem? Good problem or bad problem?" asked Akemi.
"Seriously you're asking me that? Like for real?" asked Airi.
"Yes, I am. Now answer me. I am being serious."
"Ummm, good news, kind of, Hiei is here!" exclaimed Airi with a shy sort of smile hoping her sister doesn't freak out.
"In what universe is that good news?" asked Akemi trying to not freak out since she was still trying to break them both free from the cuffs.
"Ummmm, Kurama is also here!"
"Is that supposed to make me feel better!"
"Ummm, Yes, because we are both in the same boat. Now we just need to escape before they come!" exclaimed Airi hoping that would motivate her sister to work a little faster at freeing them.
"I'm working on it! You have to give me time, man. You think this is easy. By all means, let's see you do it any faster."
"Ummm, never mind. I will just sit here!"
"Thought so. Keep an eye out for that damn bird. I hate birds!"
"She is over there by Suzaku. If you can free us before she looks over, maybe we can escape down the stairs before they notice."
"Almost free. Success, let's get out of here before Hiei comes. Oh and Kurama, too," said Akemi as they began to run towards the door. They were soon blocked by the bird, Murugu. Before she could say anything, Akemi jumped into the air tossing the knife which didn't kill her but did knock her out of the way. "Oh, Suzaku, your prisoners are escaping!" exclaimed Murugu as she tried to rise up to go after them.
"Forget it. We can capture them later! Let's focus on the intruders."
"Yes, we are free!" exclaimed Akemi as they were running down the stairs.
"OH! Oh no. we are so doomed!"
"What? Why?" asked Akemi.
"Look out the window! They are here damn it! What are we going to do?" asked Airi as they both were staring out the window watching Yusuke and his team were fighting the cultivated humans.
"I don't know. You're asking me. I am the baby! You think of something. I got us free!" exclaimed Akemi as they continued to run down the flight of stairs.
"Okay. I think I have a plan," said Airi as Yusuke made his way to one of the windows on the tower, and they had reached the bottom of the staircase. The remaining team was looking at them in puzzlement to how the girls got free. As Hiei made an advance toward Akemi, she quickly screamed, "I'm not here," and ducked behind her elder sister, Airi. Airi was thinking really you are gonna hide behind me and leave me to deal with them. As Kurama began to advance, Airi began saying, "You don't see anything!" while moving towards the second staircase.
"Airi, I can see you that trick or whatever it is isn't working!" claimed Kurama as Hiei stared blankly at the girls and with one step was behind Akemi. He reached out and grabbed her arm and in the confusion, came a lightning strike from the tower. Akemi quickly shook off Hiei's grip and took off running leaving Airi behind. As Kurama was advancing toward Airi, she screamed, "Don't! Yusuke needs you guys, and you defeated the cultivated humans so go and help him! Don't worry about us! We can find our way out ourselves!"
"We need to talk, Airi, but you're right. I will find you, and we will discuss this! Bye for now," said Kurama as he caressed Airi's face then took off toward the tower to aid Yusuke in his fight with Suzaku. Yusuke won the battle, but almost at the cost of his life. Then Kuwabara and Yusuke both fought the Toguro brothers after maze castle which only turned out to be a trap for Yusuke to fight in the dark tournament. As Airi and Akemi were freed from demon world, they began to wonder what they could do to help Yusuke as he faced the rest of his foes. Then came a chilling voice from behind, "You, girls, will be joining Yusuke at the dark tournament whether by free will or not!"
"You don't command us! We choose where and what time we feel like going!" exclaimed Airi as she was face to face with the one who snuck up behind them.
"She is right. You can't make us go!" added Akemi.
"We will see. See you soon," said the intruder then left leaving the girls wondering what was going to be their next adventure, but for sure they knew, it would have something to do with the dark tournament.
