Chapter 4: Begging Forgiveness

After Blushade's and Stormfly's incident Toothless had led Blushade back to the village where she would be patched up. Toothless held his reft wing over Blushade's body while honding her up with his own body. The two had just reached Gobber's shop.

"Gobber," Toothless growled. Gobber turned around at the sound of Toothless and became wide eyed as he saw an injured Blushade.

"Blushade? What in Thor's name happened to you?" Gobber asked in shock. Blushade uncovered her eye to reveal the large gash down her eye, blood trickling from her face and paw and dripping onto the ground. "That's a deep gash," Gobber said as he inspected the wound, "Ye get yourself into a fight?" Blushade nodded slowly, her head throbbing in pain because of the movement of her head. Gobber picked up a rag and placed it gently on Blushade's wound to clean the blood off.

"I'll take care of her here Toothless, you go get Hiccup and bring him here," Gobber said. Toothless brought his wing off of Blushade and looked at her worryingly before running off to get Hiccup.

After a few minutes, Toothless had brought Hiccup to Gobber's shop. Albiet Hiccup didn't understand much at first but he quickly learned that Toothless wanted himself to follow him. Toothless roughly nudged Hiccup into the shop.

"Alright Toothless, calm down. What's the ru..." Hiccup stopped speaking as he saw the condition that Blushade was in, Gobber wiping away the last spot of blood around Blushade's eye.

"She had a fight Hiccup," Gobber said, looking at Hiccup.

"A fight? With whom?" Hiccup asked, with shock in his voice.

"I don't know. Toothless just showed up with her like this," Gobber answered.

"Hiccup, are you in there!?" Astrid's voice called out from outside the shop. Hiccup and Toothless both looked outside to see Astrid and a nervous and scared Stormfly walking towards them. Toothless ignored Stormfly's presence by walking back inside.

"Astrid? What is it?" Hiccup asked. Astrid quickly walked up to Hiccup while Stormfly slowly trailed behind, her head drooped down.

"Someone told us that they saw Blushade walking through the village with her eye bleeding, so we came as fast as we could," Astrid explained. Stormfly kept taking quick glances at Toothless before looking back at the ground. Toothless noticed this and growled silently.

"Well, Blushade's in here," Hiccup said, directing Astrid and Stormfly inside.

After Astrid entered, Stormfly was next. Toothless alowed Stormfly to enter, but watched her cautiously. "Oh; Blushade... who did this to you?" Astrid asked, kneeling down in front of her. Blushade quickly looked over at Stormfly, then back at Astrid. Stormfly ever so slowly approached Blushade, resulting in Toothless jumping in front of her and growling menicingly, walking towards her as she backed outside fearfuly.

"Toothless, what are you doing?" Hiccup asked, surprised by Toothless' actions.

"Don't go anywhere near her," Toothless warned. As Toothless stopped, so did Stormfly. Toothless went back inside and next to Blushade, cooing with concern as he leant his head near Blushade's. Gobber began to wrap a bandage around Blushade's head and over her wounded eye. Then, something finally clicked with Hiccup and he turned around to Stormfly.

"Stormfly... did you do this?" Hiccup asked. Astrid stood up in shock and looked at Stormfly.

"Hiccup what are you saying?" Astrid asked. Hiccup didn't answer, but kept his gaze on Stormfly.

"Stormfly, did you do this?" Hiccup repeated. Slowly Stormfly nodded, shocking Astrid even more. Hiccup's eyes widened. "Why Stormfly? Why would you so something like this?" Hiccup asked another question, this time sounding more demanding than before. Stormfly just drooped her head down apologetically.

"Chief, I'm going to have to keep Blushade here for a little while longer," Gobber said. Hiccup nodded towards Gobber.

"I understand, come on Toothless," Hiccup said, beginning to walk out. Before Toothless followed him he looked at Blushade, an expression of concern clearly obvious on his face.

"Are you going to be okay?" Toothless asked. Blushade smiled at the Alpha's concerning emotion.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Blushade reasurred. Toothless smiled and nuzzled his head against Blushade's, making the female's face turn red with embarrassment. After a few seconds Toothless reared his head away.

"I hope so... Bluey," Toothless said before following Hiccup out of the shop. Blushade watched as Toothless walked away, only then realizing what Cloudjumper really meant by that Toothless 'cared' for her. As Toothless left the shop, he stopped and turned his attention towards Stormfly.

"If you ever try to hurt my Blushade again, I'll throw you into the ocean myself," Toothless threatened. Stormfly looked at Toothless with an expression of shock on her face, and watched him as he began to walk away.

An hour had passed since Toothless left Blushade with Gobber, and Stormfly was speaking with Meatlug about the recent events. The two Dragoness' sat by the Great Hall, their riders inside.

"Why on Earth would you do such a thing?!" Meatlug exclaimed.

"I'm sorry," Stormfly appologized, "I was just being my arrogant self again." Meatlug's expression from surprised to cross.

"You tried to kill Blushade, the only Night Fury besides the Alpha any of us have ever seen," Meatlug said sternly. Stormfly closed her eyes and looked down in regret.

"I know. Toothless even threatened to kill me if I ever dried to hurt Blushade again," Stormfly said, sounding depressed. Meatlug's eyes widened in surprise. Threaten to kill Stormfly? That was a bit of an overeaction. Then again, what Stormfly did was much more than an overeaction.

"Well, you know what you have to do now, don't you?" Meatlug asked. Stormfly looked at her, a look of confusion across her face. "You have to apologise from the bottom of your heart. Practically pledge your life to him if you want him to forgive you. Blushade too." Stormfly had agreed with Meatlug up until that last part. Pledge her life to Blushade? Yeah right.

"Blushade? Toothless I understand, but Blushade?" Stormfly asked in an unbecoming manner. Meatlug looked at Stormfly with a stern expression.

"Yes, Blushade," Meatlug exclaimed, "It's the only way Toothless will forgive you." Stormfly clearly understood Meatlug's words, but she still didn't like it. Stormfly sighed, deciding that Meatlug was right and that there was no other choice.

"Alright, I'll do it."

Stormfly, feeling extremely nervous, walked up to Toothless and Blushade outside the Chief's house. Blushade was let out after Gobber had finally finished healing her.

"I'm glad you're alright now," Toothless told Blushade. Blushade smiled as best she could without the right side of her face hurting.

"Toothless, Blushade," Stormfly greeted. The two Furies turned their attention towards the Nadder before Toothless looked away, blanking her.

"What do you want Stormfly?" Blushade asked sternly.

"I came to apologise." Toothless stood quiet, not acknowledging the Nadder's presence. Blushade stayed quiet as well. Seeing no other option, Stormfly closed her eyes, tilted her head and body down then spread out her wings, bowing to the two Furies.

"Alpha, Blushade, I'm begging for your forgiveness now," Stormfly said. Toothless opened one of his eyes and looked at Stormfly. "If this isn't enough, then maybe this is. My life now belongs to the both of you, to own." Toothless and Blushade widened their eyes in shock. They couldn't believe that Stormfly would offer them her life to earn their forgiveness.

"Stormfly?" Blushade questioned.

"No," Toothless started, catching Stormfly's attention, "your life does not belong to us." Stormfly drooped her head back down in sadness. "But, if you're willing to go that far so we will forgive you, then that's what I'll do." Stormfly looked back up. "I forgive you Stormfly," Toothless said. Stormfly smiled widely to hear that.

"Really?" She asked. Toothless nodded, also smiling.

"Yeah."

Blushade sighed and shook her head slightly. "Alright, I forgive you too," She said. Stormfly stood up straight and folded her wings back in.

"Thank you guys so much," Stormfly said. The two Furies smiled back at Stormfly, happy that they sorted things out.

Meanwhile, on a faraway island, a bluish-green Sliquifier tumbled in her landing onto a sea stack, exhausted from a long flight. She slowly got up, feeling a pain in her joints as she almost fell back down again. She then picked up a scent of someone familiar.

"It's her," The Sliquifier said. She looked down at her paws and on one of the claws on her left paw was a silver ring. "I promised Blushade." She began to flap her wings and fly towards the source of the scent. "Don't worry Hun, we'll be together again soon… I'm almost there."

I'm sorry for uploading late, it's just that I've been having some problems with my friends that I don't want to talk about.

Blushade: Don't worry, I'm here for you.
Me: Thanks but, I'll be fine.
Toothless: Is that Sliquifier who I think it is?
Me: Darn right.
Blushade: You still haven't told me what the secret was.
Me: Don't worry, you'll find out either next chapter or the chapter after that. Depends on how things go.
Toothless: See you all next time, Toothless out!

Blushade: …
Toothless: *grins with a smug look*
