Chapter 4
The pines twins have been living at the wizard's house for a few weeks now. It was a strange, yet fun time for the twins. They watched Bill do tricks and he fed them really good food.
Things were good for the twins but Dipper was suspicious of the one eyed wizard. He was usually up in his study and he didn't let the twins go up there. One morning after Bill went up to his study Dipper talked to Mabel.
"Mabel, I think this guy could be bad news," Dipper whispered to his sister.
"What?" Mabel laughed. "Calm down Dipper, you're overreacting."
"I'm serious Mabel," Dipper said. He got out his old book and flipped to the page I saw and started reading.
"Beware of Bill, the most notorious villain I have ever met," Dipper read off the worn pages. "He can mess with you and lead you to ruin. Don't be fooled by how he looks, he can change forms. He can enter you thoughts and dreams. Whatever you do, DON'T LET HIM IN YOUR MIND! He will try to kill you!"
"Maybe it's a different Bill Cipher," Mabel said, a little scared. "Is there of picture of the 'Big, Scary, Mindreader?"
"All that's in here is a picture of this triangle guy," Dipper flipped the yellowed pages to show a blood splattered drawing of a triangle.
"That's a triangle not a person!" Mabel laughed.
"Wait look at this!" Dipper pointed to the page where it was written, "Also watch out for he is known for being a skilled shapeshifter."
"We have to be careful," Dipper warned.
"Shouldn't you kids be getting to bed?" Bill asked. The twins jumped up to see the one eyed wizard standing before them.
"Um… it's still sunny out," Mabel murmured. As she turned to the window, the sky was pitch black.
"It was daylight a second ago," Mabel murmured.
Bill smiled strangely. "Well now it's not," he said calmly. "Now you kids have to get on up to bed. We have an early day tomorrow." And with this he picked up the small kids and carried them to their room.
He tucked the kids into bed and turned out the light. The kids stared into the darkness as they were scared to go to sleep.
"Dipper?" Mabel whispered. "Do you think this guy could really try to kill us?"
"I don't know," Dipper replied. "All I can say is that we have to be careful with this guy." He turned on his side to face his sister.
"Don't worry," he comforted Mabel. "We'll be fine."
Mabel smiled in the dark room. "You're right bro. Thanks for helping me. Good night."
"Good night," Dipper replied.
The next morning, Dipper woke up very tired. He turned to say "Good morning to his sister but she wasn't in bed.
"Mabel, are you in the bathroom?" Dipper called out. There was no answer. Dipper was starting to get worried. He called out for Bill but he was nowhere to be found. He searched all over the house but couldn't find either of them.
The only room he hadn't checked was the study where Bill works. Dipper knocked on the door quietly. There was no answer. He pushed slightly on the door and it moved without a sound.
He put his eye level to the slit in the door. He couldn't believe what he saw.
A one-eyed triangle had descended onto his sister. She started screaming before she passed out. Dipper rushed in the room to catch her but she had passed out.
"Oh my God!" he screamed. Mabel started to move a little, swinging her arms against invisible monsters. Dipper ran back to grab his journal. As he flipped the pages, he whispered, "Don't worry Mabel, I'll help you get out of this!"
