6 months later... wow. I'm sorry guys. Hopefully this will make up for it, I have the next chapter already written as well. Enjoy!

"What's going on here?"

Logan squeezed his eyes shut as he heard James' voice call out from behind.

"Logan and I are switching bunks for the week," Carlos said excitedly to James. "I'm your new bunkmate!"

Logan refused to look at James, or even turn around as he helped his Latino bandmate move his luggage from Kendall and Carlos' bus undercarriage to his and James'.

"Why are you switching buses, Carlos?" James asked with a devious tone behind his voice, realizing he'd get an answer out of Carlos faster than he'd get one out of Logan. He knew something was wrong.

"I mean…don't tour managers suggest doing this from time to time anyways?" Carlos shrugged.

"Yeah but we've never done this… we've never felt the need to," James said a little quieter, watching Logan and Carlos.

"Apparently Logan did," Carlos chuckled. "Right Logie?"

Logan stiffened at the sound of his name. "Uh, right," he mumbled, shoving the last of Carlos' suitcases into his old bus. He finally turned to face James and noticed the taller boy's cold and hurt facial expression.

"I have to get my stuff from inside the bus now, back in a jiffy," Carlos announced all too quickly for Logan to react in time, and he was suddenly left alone with James in between the two parked tour buses. He looked down at his shoes, hoping James would just walk away but he knew—"Logan?" James interrupted Logan's whirlwind of a mind. "Babe? What's really going on here?"

Logan shuttered as he walked over to close the undercarriage door. 'Babe' was his weakness. "I just want to switch things up a little," he shrugged. "I feel like this will be good for our creative minds—"

"Bullshit," James grumbled, and suddenly Logan felt himself pinned against the side of the tourbus by his wrists. "You've been acting strange lately, is it something someone said or did to you?"

"Sorta…" Logan sighed, not able to bring himself to tell the truth to or make eye contact with James as he felt the strong grip around his wrists tighten.

"Logan tell me now," James growled before his eyes grew wide and he loosened his grip. "Did someone find out about us?"

In that moment Logan felt the fire of absolute hatred grow in his stomach and heart.
"Of course that's what you're fucking worried about," Logan ripped his body out of James' grasp and slid away from the tour bus "You're only ever worried about being caught, and it's fucking with me James!"

James looked around to see if anyone was nearby or listening. The only people he could see were the hotel service entrance guards about a hundred feet away, chatting with each other as Logan's mental breakdown took place.
"Your fear of being caught and outed is fucking with me, my heart, my mind—my entire being," Logan's entire body shook as he finally let everything out. "And you don't even have an idea of any of it. You have no idea."

They stood in silence, staring at each other. James was completely lost, as he thought everything was all right between the two of them.

"Logan, I can't out myself. You can't come out—it's not good for our image," James begged for sympathy as Logan shook his head.

"No James. I am so done hiding myself from the world—it's about time everyone knew the truth."

James felt a twinge of fear run through his body, what if Logan told the band's entire world their secret? Their managers? Coworkers? Fans?

"Don't worry James," Logan rolled his eyes, realizing how he scared James. "I'm not gonna out you. In the end, you'll have to do that yourself."

"It's not that easy," James nearly whispered.

"Like I said, you'll have to do that yourself," Logan's facial expression softened into a sad, pitiful look. He turned to make his way back into the hotel as Carlos stepped off his old bus, completely unknowing of the events that just took place outside.

"Logan? What's wrong?"

"I'm gay," Logan smiled at Carlos. He spun around and made eye contact with James as he continued to walk backwards, "and I don't care who knows."

Carlos smiled back at Logan and shrugged, completely unaffected by what Logan had just revealed to him. James could only watch in shock and confusion as Logan walked away from him—and them, with no cares left to give.

"So, busmate, where do you want me to put my stuff?" Carlos smiled at James, who suddenly felt cold and lifeless.

"We love you Vegas!"

"Thanks for an awesome night we'll see you soon!"

Big Time Rush exited to backstage after performing for an arena of screaming fans. "Great show boys," hands were clapped and patted against shoulders and backs as the boys walked towards their dressing room to change out of their performance attire.

Carlos took a call from his girlfriend, Alexa, while Kendall signed autographs for VIP ticketholders. Logan changed quickly before sitting down next to Carlos on the dressing room couch.

"The crowd was amazing tonight," Carlos told Alexa, as Logan nodded in agreement. He took a moment to watch James as he stood in the corner of the room while checking his phone. He had barely even looked at Logan since their argument this afternoon—Logan knew he had his ex-lover stumped. James looked up from his phone briefly only to make eye contact with Logan, which resulted in his eyes looking back down quickly.

Logan shook his head and looked at his feet propped on the coffee table in front of him. His heart ached.

"Alright, love you too babe," Carlos finally hung up before joining Logan with his thoughts. "What's wrong Logie? You seem distracted."

"Just tired," Logan shrugged. Carlos threw his arm over Logan's shoulders.

"You know I accept you, right? Nothing has changed since you told me what you did this afternoon," Carlos whispered, not sure who else Logan had told.

"I know," Logan smiled. "I never doubted you would be great about it."

"Does James know?"

Logan snorted. "Yeah, he does. We shared a bus, remember?"

"Did he say something mean to you about it?" Carlos kept whispering into Logan's ear. "Is that why you moved out of the bus?" Logan looked up from his shoes to see James staring at the two on the couch, looking bothered by what he was seeing.

"No, he didn't. Everything's alright, I promise," Logan insisted, patting the hand that hung over his left shoulder.

"You let me know, I'll fuck someone up if you just say the word," Carlos removed his arm from over Logan's shoulder and got up from the couch to change.

Logan nodded, unsure of how to feel about that statement. He looked back over to where James was standing, only to find that he was nowhere to be seen.

I hope this chapter was good! I'll keep posting soon. Like I said in the last "Ride" update. Got a LOT of time on my hands.
