Chapter Four - Sheets and Butterflies
~ A Teen Wolf fanfiction collaboration between Miss E Charlotte and Sage Londyn.~
"Still no word from Avery?" Stiles asked as he and Teagan each grabbed a few bags of ice out of the trunk of her car outside of the animal clinic.
"No. She's probably lounging on a beach somewhere. I wouldn't want to leave that to come back to school either." Teagan said with a small laugh, wishing she could make him feel better.
When he didn't say anything, she said "Come on, we need to get this ice inside."
"Stiles! Stop thinking about Avery in a bikini and come on!" Teagan exclaimed once she realized he was lost in his thoughts.
Shaking his head he said he grabbed another bag of ice and smiled widely as he said, "Who said I was thinking about her wearing a bikini…"
Rolling her eyes Teagan said, "Stop thinking about her naked then!"
Stiles laughed and started to say something but stopped and then looked at Teagan with wide eyes before he looked down to the ground.
Teagan's confused expression faded as she saw Derek heading towards them.
"Less talking. Come on, we need to get this done." Derek said gruffly as he grabbed several bags from the trunk and gave the teens another look before he headed back inside.
"Show off." Stiles mumbled at seeing how many bags of ice he'd gotten at once, as he and Teagan followed Derek back in the building.
Teagan passed her bags off to Scott who ripped them open and poured them in the large metal tub of water.
"Obviously it's not going to be particularly comfortable." Dr. Deaton said to Isaac as the last bags of ice were added to the tub.
"You're sure this work?" Teagan asked as she walked over to them.
"If we can slow his heart rate down enough… he'll slip into a trancelike state." He answered, nodding in response.
"Like being hypnotized…" Isaac thought out loud as he walked over to the metal tub.
"Exactly! You'll be half-transformed. It will let us access your subconscious mind." He continued.
Teagan put a hand on Isaac's arm as he leaned down next to the tub and looked and at the ice water. Reaching up he rested his hand on hers and gave her a reassuring squeeze.
"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Scott questioned.
"Very slow." He replied looking around the room.
With a slight jolt of attitude in his voice Derek asked, "Well, how slow is very slow?"
"Nearly dead." Deaton said after a pause.
Teagan let out a small gasp as she thought of how many close calls she'd had with his life lately.
"Hey, it's okay, I'll be fine." Isaac said as he stood and pulled Teagan against him.
"It's safe right?" Teagan questioned, her dark brown eyes watery and wide as she looked at Deaton.
"Do you want me to answer honestly?" He asked, giving her an empathetic look.
"No, not really." Isaac answered for her as he tightened his arms around her.
Hearing an odd noise they all looked over to see Stiles had pulled on an elbow length exam glove.
"Stiles!" Teagan said shaking her head back and forth.
"What?" He asked, still holding his arm with the glove on it, up in the air.
Derek gave him a stern look and Stiles rolled his eyes and pulled the glove off, tossing it on the table next to him.
"Look if this feels too risky, you don't have to do this." Derek said.
Teagan looked at him a little surprised.
"This is our best shot at finding Boyd and Erica." He reasoned as he took his shirt off and threw it behind him.
He could hear Teagan's heart starting to race as her fear was growing.
"I have to do this." He said looking at her.
She nodded. She didn't quite understand the bond between pack members but she knew if it were any of her friends in danger, she'd do everything she could to find them.
Teagan took a few steps back from the tub as Isaac got in, the instant he sat down in the water his body started shaking and she could hear his teeth chattering.
He tried not to look over at her. It hurt him to see how worried she was and he didn't want to see the pained expression on her face.
Stiles and Teagan stood back while Scott and Derek pushed Isaac under the ice water.
After a few seconds Teagan looked over to the tub, her eyes filled with tears as she realized exactly how dangerous this could be.
It wasn't much longer that Isaac started to fight back, hit body desperately needing to be out of the ice cold water.
"Hold him!" Deaton instructed as he directed his attention to Stiles and Teagan.
Stiles rushed forward as he held Isaac's legs down, but he continued to thrash and water was splashing everywhere.
Taking a deep breath and fighting the tears that threatened to spill down her cheeks, Teagan knew she needed to help them, she had to be strong.
Letting out the breath of air, she stood beside Scott and helped the other 3 hold him down.
Scott looked over at her as she gasped when her plunged her hands and arms into the freezing cold water, it was so cold it almost felt like it was burning her skin.
After a few moments, he stopped fighting back.
Fearfully Teagan looked over her shoulder to where Deaton was, as she let go of Isaac.
Once everyone had taken their hands off of him, his body slowly floated up until his head was out of the water and he was able to take a breath.
She knew she should have been relieved, but seeing how pale his skin was and the blue tint to his lips she was still extremely worried.
Speaking quietly to the group, Dr. Deaton said, "Now remember. Only I can talk to him. Too many voices will confuse him, draw him out."
He was speaking so calmly that Teagan felt her nerves ease a little as she nodded in understanding.
"Isaac, can you hear me?" He questioned.
"Yes, I can hear you." He responded.
"This is Dr. Deaton, I'd like to ask you a few questions. Is that alright?" He continued.
"Yes." Isaac answered.
"I want to ask you about the night you found Erica and Boyd. I want you to remember for me in as vivid detail as possible, like you're actually there again." He continued to speak in a calm voice to the teenager.
"No, I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna do that." Isaac repeated several times as he moved around the water.
The fluorescent light overhead started to flicker and Deaton continued, "It's okay, just relax. They're just memories, you can't be hurt by a memory."
Once he stopped moving around, Deaton said "Now lets go back to that night, to the place where you found Erica and Boyd. Tell me what you see, is there some kind of a building, a house?"
"It… it's not a house. It's stone, I think marble." He replied.
"Perfect." Deaton said, before he went on to question him more, "Can you give me any more descriptors?"
"It's dusty, empty." Isaac said.
"Like an abandoned building?" He pushed for more detail.
The light started to flicker again and Isaac moved around uncomfortably in the water.
"They see me… someone –someones here. They see me, they see me!" He said as he grabbed onto Teagan's arm.
She gasped in surprise and looked down at him, hoping what they were putting him through was worth it.
Everyone had to pushed his body back under the water some, but kept his face above the surface.
Scott reached over to try and pry Isaac's fingers off of Teagan's arm, but she shook her head and whispered, "It's okay."
"Just memories, you can't be hurt by them. Just relax, relax. No tell us what you see, tell us everything." Deaton reminded him, as he looked up the light still flickering above them.
"I hear Boyd, I can hear them talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises. They're afraid they'll hurt each other." Isaac said as his eyes opened.
"Is he talking to Erica?" Deaton asked.
"i… I think so. I can't see them." He admitted.
Derek shook his head and quietly informed everyone, "If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're going to tear each other apart."
Scott looked at him with a horrified expression.
Raising his voice slightly Dr. Deaton said, "Isaac, we need to find them… right now."
He stayed quiet.
"Can you see them?" Deaton asked.
"No." Isaac said, his voice sounded fearful.
"Can you see what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of a marker, a number on a door, a sign?" He pushed for more information.
With a gasp, Isaac sat straight up in the tub and the lights went off.
"They're here!" He said several times, each time he sounded more scared than the last.
Stiles looked around the room confused.
"It's alright, just tell us…" Dr. Deaton started to say but Isaac panicked more.
"They're here! They can see me!" He said as he shook his head and grabbed franticly onto the sides of the tub.
Derek opened his mouth to ask where Isaac was at in his memories, he was growing frustrated by the lack of information that Deaton was getting.
"Isaac, it's okay. You're here with us… no can hurt you, they're just memories." She said, her tone soothing.
He stopped thrashing around he asked, "Teagan?"
"Yeah, Isaac it's me. You're okay." She said as she looked over to Dr. Deaton who nodded for her to continue.
"What do you see?" She asked.
"I… see blonde hair, a girl with blonde hair. One of the alpha's is talking to her…" He said.
"What is the alpha saying?" Teagan asked.
"Is it Erica?" Stiles asked.
Teagan shot him a look.
"It has to be." Derek answered with a nod.
"Isaac, what is the alpha saying to Erica?" Teagan repeated her questioned.
"He says… she's going to have a make a decision. She's scared… her hearts racing." He answered.
"What's happening now?" Teagan asked, as everyone wondered what kind of decision they could be talking about.
"They've got me! They're pulling me into a room. I see her!" He shouted as he started to thrash around again.
"It's okay, Isaac. It's just memories, tell me what's happening now." She said, trying to remain as calm as possible.
"I see her! She's… dead!" He yelled as he sat back up in the metal tub.
"See who?" Teagan asked, tears burning her eyes from seeing how upset he was getting.
"Erica! They… must have killed her!" He shouted.
"Isaac, calm down." Teagan said, but this time it wasn't working.
"I can't get out!" He yelled as he remembered trying to get out of the room they locked him in.
"Tell us where you are." Teagan pushed.
"If I don't get out of here, they're going to kill me too!" He yelled as he franticly grabbed onto the sides of the tub.
Teagan opened her mouth but Derek cut her off.
"Isaac, where are you? Tell us where you are!" He yelled.
"Stop it!" Teagan shouted at him.
Pushing him back down in the water Derek yelled, "Isaac! Where are you!"
"With his heart rate, he could go into shock." Deaton warned.
But Derek ignored him, "Isaac, what do you see, where are you?"
Sitting back up and coming out of the trance, Isaac yelled, "I saw a vault, a bank vault. I know where they are, I saw the name Beacon Hills First National Bank."
Isaac and Teagan helped him out of the water and she wrapped a large blanket around him, as he shivered.
Seeing all of their somber expressions he said, "What?"
"You don't remember what you said right before you woke up?" Stiles asked.
He shook his head no.
"You said that when they captured you… they pulled you into a room and Erica's body was there." Stiles filled him in.
"Erica's dead?" Isaac asked, feeling his heart drop.
"Maybe she's not dead, he did say he saw a blonde girl talking to an alpha." Scott offered.
"And he heard Boyd speaking to someone." Deaton chimed in.
"I don't think I've ever heard of that bank." Stiles said as he pulled his phone out.
"It wasn't open very long before it got robbed and shut down." She explained.
When everyone looked at her confused she said, "Avery's dad owned that bank before he opened the one he has now."
~()~
"Thanks for coming with me." Teagan said with a smile as the pair got into her parked in the lot outside of Derek's loft.
"Yeah, no problem. I don't know if he'll want to see me after I took Annabel though." Stiles said with a small shrug.
The pair was going to see Avery's dad to get the blueprints to the bank he used to own. The bank that Isaac had found the alphas in.
"Sometimes it takes everything I have to not rip his head off." Teagan quietly admitted.
Stiles looked at her for a few moments before he said, "Yeah, I wouldn't want to mess with you when it comes to Avery. It's the only time I'm actually afraid of you."
She smiled, "She's my best friend."
Teagan looked over at him and said him looking at her with raised eyebrows.
Letting out a small sigh she said, "Avery's always been willing stick her neck out for me. And I mean, don't get me wrong. I've always been protective over her too… but after she lost her mom, it just increased."
"With the way her dad is, it kind of seems like you had too." He reasoned as he looked out of the passenger window.
She slowly nodded, "She didn't really have anyone."
He bit down on the inside of his cheek and wondered if that was part of the reason that Avery always felt like she had to be there for Derek; because he didn't really have anyone else.
With a slightly shakey hand Teagan reached out to turn on the radio and try to take her thoughts off of her best friend, as she told herself that everything was fine.
A little while later she pulled to a stop in the driveway of her friend's house, and they both headed up to the door.
Stiles followed in after Teagan as she opened the door and walked in.
Expecting to see him in his office they stopped their first, but when the room was empty they checked the living rooms, kitchen and dining room.
"All of his cars are here." She said confused as she paused at the bottom of the stairs.
"Maybe he's upstairs." Stiles offered with a small shrug.
"Doubtful." She muttered as she headed up to the second floor.
Seeing the door cracked to Avery room she slowly pushed the door open and saw him sitting on the side of her bed looking down to something in his hand.
"Is everything okay?" Teagan asked softly as she and Stiles entered the room.
Looking up he said, "Everything's fine."
But she saw the hint of sadness in his eyes.
"Avery's not home yet if you're looking for her." He said, looking to Stiles.
Feeling a little awkward coming right out and asking for the blue prints Teagan noticed he was holding Avery's favorite necklace in his hand.
Trying to make conversation she said, "I'm surprised she didn't take that with her, it's her favorite one."
"She was probably afraid she'd lose it… it belonged to her mother." He said as he stood and crossed the room, laying the necklace on top of the dresser.
"It's her good luck charm." Teagan agreed with a smile as she thought of how Avery always wore the necklace to important events.
"Really?" stiles asked with a wide smile.
Teagan shot him a partially confused look as she nodded.
Staring at the silver pendant hanging from the chain Teagan said, "I don't think she ever told me what it was supposed to mean."
With a dry laugh, Richard responded, "Her mom told me what it meant, but it's been too long…"
He started to explain but Stiles cut him off.
"It can mean different things to different people." He blurted out.
When both Teagan and Richard looked at him he continued, "It's a trinity symbol, a Celtic three fold knot."
Teagan cocked her head to the side and looked at the design of the necklace. A three fold knot with a circle woven in to the three parts.
"She wore it on our first date." Stiles explained when they both kept looking at him.
"Oh." Teagan said smiling as she realized that's why Stiles was happy to hear that it was her good luck charm.
"Yeah, I asked her about it because it looks kind of like Derek's tattoo." He continued to explain, feeling like they wanted more information from him.
"Hmm, you're right." Teagan said as she stared at the design. Avery had told her that the triskele symbol on Derek's back meant; alpha, beta and omega to him.
"Yeah, but she said that to her mom it meant; spirit, mind and body." He continued.
"Wait a minute. You brought up Derek… her ex-boyfriend, on your first date with her?" Richard asked.
Teagan looked at Stiles with an amused expression.
"Yeah, I did. More than once too." He admitted as he remembered the night clearly.
Once he realized they were both staring at him, he threw his arms up in the air and exclaimed, "Hey! It's not my fault… I was nervous. I just kept talking."
Richard listened to their banter, and looked between the two teens as they talked.
He swallowed hard as it hit him exactly how much he missed having Avery in the house. He was still at a loss as to what would have happened to make her leave not only the town, but the entire country for months.
Clearing his throat and interrupting them he said, "We're you just coming by to see if she was home yet?"
"Oh, sorry." Teagan apologized before she continued, "I was actually wondering if you still had the blue prints from the bank you used to own? The one that got robbed…"
He gave her a confused look, "Yeah, I've still got them… but why do you want them?"
"I'm doing a project for school." She said, offering a smile and hoping he wouldn't as her too many questions.
He never questioned Avery about much, so Teagan hoped it would be the same way for her.
Accepting the answer he said, "They're in my office down stairs."
They exchanged looks, for the first time they were thankful he didn't pay much attention or ask too many questions.
While he looked over the blue prints, they asked him about the robbery and how it had occurred.
~()~
"Took you long enough." Derek said, his voice a little gruff as the two teens walked back into his loft.
They didn't have long before the full moon and they needed to come up with a plan to get into the bank.
"How's Isaac?" Teagan asked, ignoring his remark.
Derek glance over at Stiles who was laying the blue prints out on the table before he sighed and said, "He's still resting."
She nodded and let out a small sigh of relief, the whole time she was away from the loft she'd been worried about him.
Once they were all gathered around the table, Stiles picked up a red marker and pointed to a spot on the blue print as he said, "See this? This is the roof top air conditioning vent, this is the how the robbers got in."
"It leads down inside to the wall of the vault... which is here" He continued as he took the cap off of the marker circled it.
Teagan's brown eyes widened as she gasped, "Stiles!"
"what?" He asked, looking over the blue print to make sure he'd circled the right spot.
"You just drew on the actual blue print in permanent marker!" She explained.
"Oh, well… I…" He stumbled over his words.
"Maybe her dad won't ask for the blue prints back?" Scott asked, his tone hopeful.
Teagan shook her head at them and hoped that Scott was right.
"Anyways… one of the robbers was lowered in this shaft. The space was so small that it took him about 12 hours to drill through that wall." Teagan said, focusing on the task at hand.
Stiles nodded and circled the spot she'd pointed too and explained, "The wall is stone by the way."
"How'd the get the money out?" Scott questioned.
"Through out the rest of the night, they syphoned the money back up to the guys on the roof." She answered.
Derek nodded as he looked over the marks on the paper, his only concern was saving the rest of his pack.
"Can we even fit in there?" Scott asked, seeing how small the space looked on paper.
"Yes we can… but very, very barely." Stiles replied, looking at his best friend.
"But Avery's dad said that they'd patched up the wall." Teagan reminded them, before she forgot the small bit of information.
"Yeah, so we'll need some kind of drill. I'm thinking a diamond bit…" Stiles was starting to say, but Derek cut him off.
"Look, forget the drill. If I go in first how much space do I have?" Derek asked the teens.
"What do you think you're going to do, Derek? Huh? You going to punch through the wall?" Stiles asked as he turned and faced him.
Crossing his arms over his chest and looking towards the ceiling in annoyance, Derek said "Yes, Stiles… I'm going to punch through the wall."
Teagan couldn't help but let out a small laugh as she looked between them.
"What did you say to Avery's dad to get the blue prints?" Scott asked her.
"Just said I needed them for a school project. He never asks Avery many questions, so I figured he wouldn't question me much either." She reasoned.
Scott nodded, "Yeah, Avery's dad is… something else."
Then with a small laugh he continued, "The first time I was over at her house, it was while she was dating Stiles. And her dad thought we were dating, or something. So you can imagine the look on his face when she told him I was Stiles' best friend."
Teagan laughed as she shook her head and pictured the look on Richard's face when he thought something Avery was doing was wrong, but didn't want to say anything about it.
When the two looked up they saw Stiles and Derek and looking at Scott.
His eyes widened and he said, "What? Obviously I wasn't!"
Which caused Teagan to laugh even harder, before she calmed down and said, "Are you sure you'll be able to punch through the wall to the bank?"
Derek nodded.
Looking back at him Stiles, said "Okay big guy. Let's see it, let's see the fist. Make it and put it out there, come on. Don't be scared."
Uncrossing his arms, Derek held out one of his fists.
"Big bad wolf… yeah." Stiles continued.
Scott and Teagan exchanged looks, both of them on the verge of laughing.
"Okay, see this?" Stiles asked as he held his hand a few inches away from Derek's fist.
"That's maybe 3 inches of room to gather enough force to be able to punch through stone…" Stiles started to say.
Without a word, Derek punched Stiles hand. The force spun Stiles around and knocked him backwards.
He grabbed onto the table to keep from falling down.
Standing back up he held onto his sore arm and he made a few pained noises and walked away as he assured the rest of the group, "He can do it."
"Who's coming with me?" Derek asked the room.
Teagan rolled up the blue prints and Scott and Derek looked over to Peter.
"Don't look at me, I'm not up to fighting speed. And honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself." Peter said.
Teagan couldn't help but roll her eyes.
"What are you saying? I should just let them die?" Derek asked.
"One of them is already dead." He reasoned.
Derek shook his head at his uncle, "We don't know that!"
"Do I need to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of alphas, all of them killers. And if that's not enough to scare your testicles back up in your stomach… two of them combine bodies to form one giant alpha." Peter reminded the group.
"I'm sure Erica and Boyd are sweet kids and they're going to be missed…" He continued as he looked over the side.
"Could someone kill him again, please?" Stiles said, looking over to Derek. As he walked back to the table.
"No joke…" Teagan mumbled.
Peter looked at the group as he slowly crossed him arms over his chest and said, "Derek, seriously… it's not worth the risk."
"Are you coming with me?" Derek asked, looking toward Scott.
Stiles who was standing between them, thought Derek was talking to him.
"Yeah, if you want me to…" He started to say but Derek cut him off.
'Not you!" He snapped.
"Scott? Okay…" Stiles said, as he motioned for Scott to answer him.
"I don't know about Erica, but if Boyd is still alive… we have to do something. We have to try." He said, but there was something in his tone.
"But?" Derek asked.
"Who else is being held there?" Scott questioned.
No one had an answer for him.
~()~
After telling everyone what she and Stiles found out from Mr. Dukate, Scott and Derek took off for the bank, leaving Teagan at the loft with Peter and Stiles.
The latter was pacing anxiously in front of the huge windows, while Peter lounged on the couch like he didn't have a care in the world.
While Stiles continued to pace, Teagan looked up at the ceiling where she knew Isaac's room was. He had been resting since the ice bath incident, trying to warm up and get his strength back.
She looked back at where Stiles was, planning to tell him she would be right back, until she realized he wasn't paying any attention to anything anyways, he was in his own little world.
She crossed the room and headed for the stairs, ignoring Peter, who she noticed was about to say something, she honestly didn't want to hear anything he had to say.
She made her way upstairs and over to the spare room that Isaac slept in. She carefully opened the door, pausing for a moment when the door creaked open, hoping the noise didn't wake him up.
Teagan poked her head into the room and saw him laid out on the air mattress with a couple of heavy blankets on top of him. She had tossed the extra blankets on him when he laid down earlier, hoping they would help warm him up faster.
She took a few steps into the room to get a closer look at him. She silently watched him for a few minutes then turned to walk back out of the room until she heard a rustling noise and him softly saying her name.
Teagan turned back around with a smile on her face as she watched him sit up. She took a few steps toward the bed then said, "I just wanted to check on you, but you should get some more sleep."
"How long have I been sleeping?" Isaac asked, as he yawned and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Several hours." Teagan answered.
Isaac looked over at the windows, noticing the sun had already went down. It was on the tip of his tongue to ask her about Boyd and Erica, he hoped she and Stiles were able to get the blueprints from Avery's dad and Derek was able to save his pack mates.
But before he could even ask, Teagan took a closer step toward the mattress and said, "Derek and Scott left for the bank a little bit ago to save Boyd and hopefully Erica."
Isaac nodded his head in understanding. Earlier, while being submerged in the ice water to recover his memories, he saw Erica's dead body, but then he also saw the back of a blonde talking to Deucalion, making them unsure if Erica was really dead or not.
He had high hopes that she was still alive, he believed the alpha pack put the memory of the dead body in his mind to confuse them all, he didn't want to believe that she was really dead, but the others weren't sure.
"You still think she is alive?" Teagan asked him, then added after he nodded his head,"I know you want to believe that Isaac and I hope it is true, but I don't want you to get your hopes up. You saw her dead body."
"Yeah, but I also saw her talking to Deucalion." Isaac pointed out, then added,"I mean if it wasn't her, then who could be? Cause she is the only blonde there."
"I know, but..."
"No buts, she's alive." Isaac said, interrupting her. He couldn't lose Erica, she was his pack mate, she was like a sister to him. He couldn't fail her. "She is alive, she has to be." He added, hoping he sounded more confident then he felt.
"I hope so." Teagan said softly. She and Erica were never close, but she still wouldn't wish death on the girl. She was too young and still had a lot of life left to live.
Teagan folded her arms across her chest as she added, "I just... I can't help feeling like this is a trap or something, and Scott and Derek are walking right into it."
"Come here." Isaac said quietly, as he leaned forward to grab her crossed arms and pull her toward the mattress, forcing her to sit in front of him. He laid a hand on the side of her face, seeing the worried expression she was wearing, then added,"it's going to be ok. Derek and Scott will get to them in time and will bring them back. Everything is going to be ok, ok?"
Teagan nodded her head then looked at him. She ran her hands up down his arms, hoping to warm him up as she asked, "How are you feeling now, still cold?"
"A little." Isaac admitted, then added, "but I know a good way to warm up."
"What?" Teagan asked.
Isaac shot her a grin then without a word, pulled her toward him and laid her back on the mattress before hovering above her. She looked up at him, a small giggle escaping from her lips, as he leaned down and begin to kiss the side of her neck.
She rolled her head to the side, giving him better access, then begin to moan as he nip at her skin.
She felt him ran a hand down her side and slipped it under her shirt, caressing her smooth skin. She ran her fingers through his hair, then grabbed a handful of his hair to lift his head from her neck and pressing her lips against his for a heated kiss.
Isaac let out a groan when she playfully nibbled his bottom lip then he grounded his hips into hers, causing a light gasp from her when she felt how badly he was turned on right now.
Isaac didn't know what has gotten into him tonight. Deep down he knew now was probably not the right time to have sex with his girlfriend with everything else going on but he didn't care.
Maybe it was the effect of the full moon or maybe it was her scent all around him, driving him crazy or maybe it was just cause he missed her, but either way he needed her, he craved her now.
He raised his head from her neck to kiss her lips a few times, then moved down her body. He lifted her shirt up, exposing her flat stomach, then leaned forward to leave light kisses across her stomach.
She closed her eyes and bit her bottom lip to hold back a moan as he kissed down to the top of her blue jeans. She felt him unbutton her jeans and pulled then down a little before he froze. She opened her eyes to look at him and noticed he was looking at something on her hip.
"What? What's wrong?" She breathed out.
"When did you get this?" Isaac asked, as he traced the butterfly tattoo with his finger.
"Hmm?" Teagan asked confused, as she raised up and leaned back on her elbows to see what he was talking about. "Oh that…" She added, when she saw he was talking about the tattoo. With everything that had happened lately, she had honestly forgot she had it.
"I got it a few days ago." Teagan answered, then added, "Actually the night you were in the hospital."
"Why am I just now seeing this?" Isaac questioned, as he looked up at her.
"I honestly forgot all about it." Teagan said sincerely. She bit her bottom lip, feeling nervous, as she asked, "Do you like it?"
"It is the hottest butterfly I have ever seen." Isaac answered, as he shot her a grin.
Teagan chuckled at his answer then said, "I got it to remind myself of how strong I am."
"You are one of the strongest people I know." Isaac said to her, as he leaned forward to softly kiss around the tattoo.
A small moan escape her lips at feeling his light kisses against her skin. She smiled down at him then said, "I also got it cause it reminds me of Avery."
She explained to him about the play they were suppose to be in, the words Avery told her and how she reminded her of all of that the day she thought she was going to lose Avery.
When she was finished with her story, Isaac laid down beside her, seeing the sad look on her face. He also noticed how her heart rate changed anytime she mentioned Avery's name, causing him to ask," You're really missing Avery huh?"
Teagan nodded her head, then said, "I know she needed some time to think and I hope the trip helped, but this town is not the same without her."
"I'm sure she'll be back soon." Isaac said, reassuring her.
"I know, I just miss her." Teagan said softly.
She rolled her head to the side and saw Isaac watching her, she softly chuckled then said, "Sorry, I guess I just ruined the mood huh?"
"It's ok." Isaac said, as he pushed a lock of hair from her face. He shot her a grin then said, "Besides I can always get you back in the mood."
"Oh, you can, huh?" Teagan asked, challenging him.
"Oh, yes." Isaac said back, as he rolled over to lay on top of her. He playfully bit at the side of her neck, causing her to laugh out loud and try to push him away.
He paused for a minute when he heard a loud conversation coming from downstairs, causing him to sit up as he tried to listen to it better to hear what was going on.
"What's wrong?" Teagan asked, when she saw the look on his face.
"Something's wrong." Isaac said, as he jumped out of bed and headed for the bedroom door.
Teagan quickly stood up and followed along behind him as the two ran down the stairs. They saw Stiles and Peter standing around the cell phone in Stiles hand and could hear loud noises coming through the phone.
"What's going on?" Teagan asked Stiles and Peter, as she and Isaac stepped off the last step and joined them.
Stiles didn't say anything as he yelled out for Scott, but all he heard back was a dial tone, letting him know the call was lost. Stiles looked up at Peter, then over to Teagan and Isaac with a worried look on his face.
"Ok, seriously, what the hell is going on?" Teagan asked again.
"If you two weren't up there rolling around in the sheets and talking butterflies then you would know." Peter answered, as he shot the two a look, letting them know he heard everything that happened upstairs.
Teagan folded her arms across her chest, feeling dirty all of a sudden. She felt Isaac wrap an arm around her waist and pull her toward him, as a low growl escape him.
Stiles, ignoring everything that was going on, tried to call Scott back then swore out loud when it went straight to his voice mail.
He begin to pace back and forth again, like he did earlier, as he kept trying to call Scott. He raised his arm, ready to throw his phone across the room, until Teagan rushed to his side and grabbed his wrist to stop him.
"Stiles, what is going on?" Teagan asked him.
"It's a trap." Stiles answered, then added fearfully, "It's all a trap and Scott and Derek just walked right into it."
