A/N: Yow! I'm back! I know, I know ( sighs heavily) it's been 7 months since I last updated this chapter and I'm very sorry for that.. I nearly have time for this.. But I'm still trying to finish this story of mine.. although the pacing of the story is slow.. I don't like to harsh things so I'm keeping the story low for now..

Chapter 4: Troublesome Weekend

It was five o'clock in the morning. The residents of the Fullbuster's mansion woke up early to start-up the day, with of course the exception of one person, Gray Fullbuster, the only son and pretty much the heir of Fullbuster's Group of Companies. Well, with their fortunes and fame, no wonder they are included in one of the most élite and respectable families in all Magnolia, even in whole Fiore.

All in all, for them it was one of those normal weekends, but not for him. That's right, not for Gray.

2 hours later...

"Young master, would you please wake up." an oranged-haired man in his twenty's said. Meanwhile, the man on the bed didn't even move an inch, instead a lazy groan was heard from him.

"Geez.. this kid never change." Loke was trying to keep his cool demeanor. He's been trying to wake Gray for almost ten minutes now and still the lad will not wake up, nevertheless the butler still tried.

"Five more minutes Loke." Gray whisper lazily and enough to be heard by the orange-haired man.

"What the! Don't you know what day is it Gray?!" That's it, he's loosing his cool. More like he's getting pissed.

"Why? It's Saturday of course. There's no class, so just relax." Gray replied, still half asleep.

"I know it's Saturday! Did you forget what I told you? Lady Ur will contact you any minute now!"

Gray quickly opened his eyes by the mention of his mother's name. He nearly forgot that this day was the scheduled day for them to talk on the phone. Due to his parents busy work across the continent, they rarely have enough time to call and talk to their children, because of that they came up with a resolution. They would call or contact them twice a month to check their moves and to know if their in good health.

Most of the time, the lady of the house, Ur, Gray and Ultear's mother was the one who would call and see them. Their father? well, he rarely talk to them, only if there's some important matters to discuss. Heck, the last time he and his sis saw their father's face was fours years ago during Christmas eve. That was the only day, for how many years since they were young that their family was complete. Gray's father travels all around the world everyday. According to what he heard, he's father was a busy, talented and fearsome man.

It's not like he was lonely or something when his parents was busy working from who knows where and has small or rather no time for them. He was all over it already a long time ago. After all Loke was their for him all the time, his sister who sometimes he can't along well because of her witty and mocking attitude was also their for him when he needed her and of course, his friends who's always there supporting and cheering him up when his down.

"Arghh!.. How could I forget.." Gray said getting out of the bed and preparing himself. "I'm such an idiot" The orange haired man who's watching him the whole time just rolled his eyes in fake annoyance.

Loke was thirteen years old then, when he was first brought to the mansion and Gray at that time was still 's only one purpose he was there, and that was to protect and guide the young heir as it grows up. When Loke met Gray for the first time, the young master was kind, although sometimes he tends to be stubborn, to those around him and is always carefree. From that day, he swears to be by his side and remain loyal to him forever.

Fifteen minutes had passed, Loke was silently watching Gray as he prepares himself. A sudden knock on the door made the two men turn their heads to where it came from.

"Come in" Loke commanded. A servant made its way to Gray's room, she bowed her head and handed the telephone to the young heir.

"A long distance call from Lady Ur to you, young master." Gray thanked the servant before he dismissed her. Then, he turned to Loke, giving him a slight nod which the orange haired man easily understood. It means that Gray wants to talk with his mother alone so the butler obeyed and decides to leave the lad by himself.

"H-Hello?" Gray started.

"Tsk.. What's with that greeting Gray?" Ur said through the phone. "How are you my son?"

"I'm okay mom."

"Its seems that you are not happy that your beautiful mother called."

Gray just rolled his eyes. "Just get to the point already mom.. what do you want this time?"

"now, that's not the proper way to talk to your mother after all the effort I have done to contact you." Ur let out a sigh.

"Yes,. yes.. I get it, I'm sorry" He didn't want to upset Ur this time or else he will hear a never-ending scolding from her mother.

"Okay, I'll be quick. I supposed Loke told you about me coming home next week. I don't know how long will I be staying there, yet."

"I knew it, you're gonna ask my help again regarding our business. What is it this time?" That's right, whenever his mother comes home in Magnolia, it only mean one thing, she's going to ask for his help and he can't refuse it. When Ur sets her mind on something, whether about business or just her own pleasures, she will, no doubt get it, no matter what. Even if it means she will have to used force.

"Well, you're half right. I'm gonna asked for your help this time but not about work." Ur factly stated.

"Oh, then what are you planning this time? Gray said.

"A week from now, the King of Fiore will be having a Royal Ball for all the élite families within two weeks." This time Ur's voiced was rather serious and firm. "And I'm sure that the Vastia's are going to be there."

"So?" Gray said in a blunt tone.

"So?! It means, that stubborn and conceited woman will be there too! You know who am I talking to Gray.. That Vastia woman really gets on my nerves.. Last week she called just to mock me that her son is better and more gentleman than mine and that her son will be attending the party to impressed me!" She's loosing it now.. His mom and that Vastia woman are on each others neck as long as Gray could remember. He was not even interested on what she's saying, like he cares about those people, it's not even a big deal."So you, Gray, will be attending that party too.. I will show her whose son is the best!"

"W-What! You're asking for my help for that reason?" Okay, now he was beyond surprised. He's mother could be childish sometimes.

"No buts Gray Fullbuster.. Besides, it's also a training for you for succeeding the company." Ur said.

"Fine! I understand.. But just this once, I'm only doing this because my friends are also probably going there.."

"You're so sweet my son.. I knew you wouldn't refuse my request." Ur said teasingly. "I guess we need to end now.. I'll tell you the details when I come home.. Bye!" With that, Gray was left all alone, registering on his mind what his mother said during their entire conversation..

When all was clear, he let out a huge sigh and called for Loke-which the man immediately obeyed.

"Young master?" Loke started..

"Loke, how many times have I told you to call me Gray? I don't like being called 'young master'.."

The orange-haired man smirked mockingly "I get it, Gray.."

Gray just rolled his eyes.. typical Loke.. "Can I borrow the car? I want to breathed some fresh air.."

"Sure"

He's been walking around the park for an hour now. Wherever he was looking, all he can see are couples, having their dates. Right, its Saturday, the day where people spend their time with their loved ones. He felt out-of-place, why did he end up in the park? he could have gone to some coffee shops or restaurants..

The park was beautiful, he must agree.. The landscapes are amazing with tall trees, trimmed tall bushes and flowers everywhere. It is indeed an eco-friendly park. No wonder it's the perfect spot for couples meet up.

Gray was too occupied looking on the his surroundings that he didn't noticed that a certain blue haired woman are running fast towards him and shouting for him to get out of her way.

A pale-skinned woman with dark purple hair in which she let loose freely and a brown eyes arrived at the Fullbuster's mansion. Her black BMW that she's driving stopped at the entrance door of the mansion. She wears a blue sleeveless lace blouson dress and a black stilettos that completely makes her stunning. She walks confidently towards the door where servants are lined up to great her..

"Welcome home, ojou.." Loke politely bowed his head.

"Please Loke, no need for formalities." The woman said in authority. "Does Gray knows I'm coming?"

"No. Only the servants and I knew about your arrival" Loke responded.

"Good" She gave Loke a smile and proceeds inside the house.

She was running fast for almost ten minutes now. It's not her fault why she was running for her life-like this. She just wanted to help but instead she ended up being chased. Thanks to her strong physical capabilities that she can still run without getting tired for a long amount of time. What a troublesome day for her. The blue-haired woman saw a tall bushes that was located on the edge of the park, that's it, the perfect place to hide.

When she get there, still running frantically, she saw a raven-haired man. She can't really figured who it was since all she can see was his back but all she has to do is to shout at him to step aside for he is getting in her way and she has no time to look for another spot to escape.

"Get out-of-the-way!" She shouted loud enough for him to hear but it seems that he was too busy appreciating the view in front of him. "Get out!"

The raven-haired man finally turned to where the voice came from and was surprised of who he saw..

"J-Juvia?!..."

"...G-gray?!" It's too late.. When she was near him, she stumbled on a rock, lose her control and in an instant they both fell on the ground. "Ouch..." Juvia was trying to remember what happened when she felt a movement under her.

Gray on the other hand was confused why was Juvia, his new classmate/seatmate, was here. Furthermore was on top of him. "Hey.. C-can you please... get off me.." That's all he could say.

"What?" Juvia was stunned and she found herself in an awkward position with Gray.. She was on top of him. Their faces were so close that she could almost feel his breathing.. Good thing they're the only people in this area.. A blushed was visible on her face and became more red when she tried to think about it... What's happening to her? Her heart was beating rapidly, it wasn't normal anymore.. She never felt like this before.. Maybe she was just nervous to be in a position like this, that's right, nervous...

"I said, get off me" Gray said a bit louder this time..

"Oh.. Juvia's sorry" But before Juvia could stand, she heard voices on the other side from where they were now and she knew who they are.. They are the thugs who are chasing him just a moment ago.. She stay still.. When she heard Gray spoke again because of her not responding, she had no choice but to cover his mouth with her hands so that her pursuers couldn't find them.. She had no other option but to stay again in their awkward position, this time much closer.. "Shhh... be quiet.. or else Juvia will be caught.." Juvia coldly said..

Gray was taken aback for what she did.. He can't move because she was preventing him.. "Caught? What the hell is she doing anyway? This woman.. is really hard to get" He thought..

They both heard footsteps and voices of men and it was really near them. If it wasn't for the tall and huge bushes that are covering them, they would have been found..

"Where is she? That woman.. She will pay for what she did to me.." The leader of the thug angrily command his subordinates..

"I think, she's not here anymore, boss.." A thug said..

"Let's go.. She's still not far."

Juvia listened the whole time and when she's sure enough that the people who are chasing her are long gone, She let out a contented sighed.. She then released Gray from her grip and removed herself from Gray carefully so that people wouldn't notice them. She then cleaned herself and fix her eyeglass. When she was through, Juvia offered her hand to Gray, who is still on the ground looking dumbfounded, so that he can stand up. He accepted her kindness and in no time he was back on his feet.

"Well, that's all goodbye!" Juvia hastily run away from Gray but to her luck, he quickly grab her wrist, preventing her to escape him.

"You're just gonna leave me here. Without even an explanation?" Gray questioned her. "What was that? Why are they after you?" He folded his both arms together waiting for her answer.

Juvia adjusted her eyeglass. Sweats are starting to come out on her body. She's getting uncomfortable but she needs to explain her actions. It's her fault why Gray was drag unto this. "Y-you see.. Juvia was walking from Fairy Hills to the coffee shop, when half way, she saw some thugs bullying a weak teenager so Juvia came to the rescue.. But the leader of the group gets on her nerve so she punch him on the face and the last thing she knew, they were chasing her.. hehe" She said fidgeting.

Gray facepalmed.."Really this woman always gets on troubles." he thought. "Whatever.. Just don't get me involved in your world.." He said. Gray heard some nonsense mumble from her but ignored it. He looked in his wristwatch and realize something. "Arghh.. I've been here for almost an hour and a half.. and It's all because of you.." Gray said irritatingly.

"Hour and a half? wait... Oh my god! Juvia's late!" She said panicking.. "she guess, she should go."

"What?! you're going to leave me here.. after the troubles you've caused me?"

"Juvia's so sorry Gray but she's going to be late on her part-time job.. unlike you she have to work in order for her to pay her rent on Fairy Hills." She pleaded.. "Please! Please!"

Gray sighed for the nth time that day. "Okay, okay.."

"Thank you very much.. In return, since Juvia caused you so much trouble this day, she will do whatever you want me to do.." She said gratefully.

"I'll hold on to that." he said amused of her. With that Juvia bowed her head and leave. Gray didn't failed to notice the genuine smile that she gave him when she thanked him. For a moment he thought that her smile was cute. He never thought that they will be encountering each other again or even talked, after the incident on their first day of school. Weird, that's what he thinks of her. But based from his observation, she's not just weird, she's a troublesome, klutz, smart and deadly seatmate of his. Maybe she's not that bad after all.

"I think I should go home too." He was leaving when he remembered something. The doll, the teru teru bozu doll that belongs to her. He forgot about it. Maybe he should return it when the right time comes.

Gray got home looking exhausted. He never thought this day could be crazy as hell.. A lot of things happened and he had a bad feeling that more will come.

He was about to climb up the stairs of their home when he saw a familiar woman, standing at the top of the stairs, smirking evilly on him. Then it hit him, how could he not recognize this person. In just four years, so much has changed on her.

"Your home... brother"

"U-ultear?.."
