Chapter 3.

After leaving the Emishi tribe, both Godzilla and Junior had been traveling for days, resting in between and eating. On a dirt road both father and son were traveling in silence, until Junior broke the silence. " Hmm, I wonder just how is it father?" Godzilla only shrugged. " I'm not sure son, but it can't be a few days away now." Junior only nodded then turned his eyes, on the sword Ashitaka gave him. " Say father." Godzilla turned to his son. " Yes?" " Do you think you have the skill, to use that sword?" Junior asked. " I mean, you've used other stuff as weapons when you fight, it can't be any different right?" Godzilla looked at the sword then pulled it out of its sheath. The sword shined as the sun touched it. Godzilla looked at the blade, with slightly widen eyes. To think that a human gave him a sword.

Godzilla twirled the blade around his hand, swinging it around a few. And brought the blade close and saw his reflection. He smiled. " Nice. Very nice." He said, putting his sword away. Soon they resumed their journey to the north. Soon they had stumbled upon what looks like an attack, they saw a man, a woman and two kids. Being attacked by at least 12 men, by the looks of it they were bandits. Raiding the poor family. Both father and son looked at eachother and nodded. They immediately went to help them.

The bandits had been attacking the poor family, looking for anything that might be worth something, the father held his wife and kids together. out of fear that they'll be taken. " There's nothing here but rice, bread and shit boss!" One of the bandits said. Their boss Augus scowled. " Dammit! This was nothing but a waste of time!" He snarled. " I wouldn't say a complete waste boss." Another bandit said eyeing the man's wife. Seeing this the man pleaded. " No please! Take whatever you want, just leave my wife out of this!" Holding his wife tightly. " Oh we will, my boys and I haven't had any fun for a while, and your wife will make a good prize."Augus said with a twisted smile. His mean chuckled as they grabbed the woman, who started screaming. " No! No, no please! Let me GO!" " NO! Please let her go!" He tried to save his wife, but a bandit slammed the butt end of his sword in his gut. " DADDY!" The two girls cried out as their father fell, holding his stomach. " Sorry pal, but all is far in love and war. Hahahahaha!" Augus and his men laughed, as they were about to have their way with the woman, then suddenly a voice called out.

" Is this how you treat your kind and it's females?"

They stopped and looked to where the voice came from, and what they saw completely left them awestruck. It was Godzilla and Junior who had arrived, to stop these savage men. " And here I thought you humans couldn't stoop any lower, than that!" Godzilla said with disgust. " What the hell?" " Leave these people alone or face my wrath!" The kaiju king snarled. Augus let the woman go and stood full attention of the kaiju. " I don't who or what the hell you two are." He said pulling his katana out along with his men. " And frankly I don't care. KILL THEM!" His men charged at the father and son duo, who also charged back. Godzilla had pulled his katana out, blocked an attack and stabbed a bandit through his heart. Godzilla pulled the sword out and kicked the dead body, his spines started to glow and fired his atomic breath. Roasting half of the bandits alive. Junior was faring well, he swung his tail at a bandit's head and broke his neck. Junior used his claws and slashed the enemy knowing that they were no match for them. The family watched as the kaiju king and prince were tearing their attackers apart, never in their lives had they seen creatures like them. Especially creatures that talk.

Augus just watched as his men were killed by these beast, he has seen many things before, but not creatures as powerful as these two. As soon as the carnage was over, only Godzilla and Junior stood tall. Godzilla swung his sword flicking the blood off as he stared the lone bandit. Augus was trembling with anger his men killed right in front of him, by these monsters. Whit a loud shout Augus charged at the kaiju king. Godzilla charged as well as both man and kaiju draw to a close, their swords made contact which made a metallic ting noise. They're backs were facing eachother as they stood still, silence filled the air. Then a large slash appeared on Godzilla's chest, Augus turned to face him with a sick smile, only to fall on the ground as a pool of blood filled the ground. The cut on his chest started to heal as Godzilla put his sword back in it's sheath. Both Junior and Godzilla approached the family who tensed up, afraid they were next. " It's alright. Your safe now there's no need to be afraid." Junior said with a smile.

The family started to relax knowing that these two creatures had saved their lives. " Thank you. The both of you, I don't know what I'd do if those bastards got their hands on our daughters." The father said. " Yes thank you for saving my life." The wife said as they bowed. Godzilla and Junior returned their gesture. " Your welcome." Godzilla mearly said. " If there's anything you two want, just ask." As a matter of fact we do." Junior pulled out the iron ball and showed it to the man.

" Have you seen this type of ball before?" He asked. The man took the ball from Juniors hand. He examined it closely and carefully. " Hmmm, I'm sorry but I've never seen this type before." He said handing the ball back. " I see then" Junior said with disappointment. " But I have heard of a place that makes those iron balls." The woman said. This got the Godzilla's attention. " Where exactly?" he asked. " There's a town north of here, it's a days walk from here." The woman said.

After thanking them again the family went on with their lives leaving the king and prince on the road alone. " Well at least we're going the right direction right?" Junior said. His father nodded. " I just hope this tripe is worth the wait." he said. Then they set on their journey up north whatever is their, they can handle it.
