"Miss" the Doctor said after a brisk walk through several corridors. "where are you taking us?"

"Um.. I thought we might start at The Beginning!"

"And where is this beginning of the bank?"

"Oh.. no.. not like that.. It's our meeting hall, for proposal meetings and such. Also marriage proposals if you like."

"But I would like to see the vault!" The Doctor said sulking.

"Well, John" Jack interrupted. "Why don't we let Miss Kettipan lead our tour, we are after all inspecting!"

"Thank you, Mr Jack!" She said flushing.

"Oh alright! But these corridors are sooo boooring!" The doctor huffed out a big sigh.

"Excuse my partner, miss Kettipan, he bores easily."

"It's quite alright." She said "How long have you been married if I might ask?"

"Wha..." the Doctor started.

"Two years!" Jack intervened. "The best two years of my life. You should've seen him in our wedding dress – he was stunning!" Ha said as he laid his arm around the waist of the Doctor.

Miss Kettipan giggled and the Doctor looked ready to.. well.. Jack couldn't quite decide if he was angry, confused or ready to run – perhaps little bit of all. He felt proud that he's said "our dress" to imply that they married on this planet since the tradition here was to wear one piece of clothing that were sewn together to join both of them as one, kind of like Siamese twins joined at the hips. But at the same time as he was proud he was a bit scared that the Doctor would run at that remark – he seemed so skittish this new Doctor. Jack wondered how old he was and what events in his life had made him like that.

Several meeting rooms, corridors, pathways and hallways later the Doctor had another outburst. "No more hallways! Or Pathways. OR CORRIDORS!"

"He is right!" Jack said "It seems like you are stalling or perhaps hiding something miss Kettipan."

"No.. eh.. Yes.. Well.. no.. Not exactly. Oh Shit!" Her shoulders slumped. "Mr Jabblarba was hoping you were as stupid and meek as the last inspector." She fiddled with her papers and then looked around in her purse, not meeting their eyes.

"Meek? I'm not meek. Am I? Jack, am I?" the Doctor hade a look of horror in his eyes.

"No, Doctor. I don't think soo."

"Good.. Me neither!" He smiled the biggest smile Jack had seen jet, it was stunning.

Miss Kettipan turned to him "I'm sorry, should I address you as dr. Smith?"

"Just 'Doctor' is fine!" he waved his hand at her. "Now tell us what is going on!"

She flushed a bright red. "I'm not at liberty to say!"

"But you do know what is going on?" Jack said

"Well.. no.. not really..."

"Miss Pettikan! Get to the point!" The Doctor stared at her angrily.

"Kettipan, and no, I think not! I do not like your tone!" she said with a stern tone, all traces of shyness gone.

"I do not like your tone!" the Doctor mocked in a silly voice and then, surprised at himself, he covered his mouth with his hands mumbling a muffled "Sorry!"

Her eyes went big and Jack looked like he was going to laugh. At this very moment four Judoons walked in from around the corner.

"Take them to the special vault!" Miss Kettipan direkted with an air of autority.

"But..." The doctor looked from Kettipan to the Judoon and back.

"Well played, miss Kettipan!" Jack said as they grabbed him. "Oh, you're very strong. I like that in a Judoon!"

"Stop it!" the Doctor rolled his eyes.
