Clean Up:
Seifer: Deciding to head over to Dr. Kadowaki's and see if she had anything to get the blood out of his white leather coat. He was hoping Squall had been smart enough to go see her, but he doubted the man would do so. Upon reaching the infirmary Seifer noted that as he'd suspected, Squall wasn't there. "Hey Dr. K, gotta a question for ya."
Dr. K: Startled the large woman looked up, "Well if it isn't Seifer Almasy. First time I've seen you in ages and you bring yourself here all beat up. What'd you do? Lose to a T-Rexaur?" Kadowaki quirked a quizzical brow at him.
Seifer: "Course not! I beat the snot outta Leonhart, as usual. I was hoping he'd be smart for a change and come to see you. But apparently he hasn't changed /that/ much." Seifer grinned at her unashamed. "You got anything to get the blood out of my baby?" He asked raising his arm with the slashed sleeve so she could see it clearly.
Squall: Entering his dorm room, Squall immediately slid off his jacket and tossed himself down on the small sofa near his bed. He instantly began tending to Lionhart instead of his face-that blade was one of his most prized possessions. After cleaning it up, he placed it in its opened case-and headed for the bathroom-his head still complaining and protesting against its every movement. Turning on the faucet, he began washing away all of the blood...it stung like hell, he couldn't even begin to imagine what it would feel like once he applied the rubbing alcohol. Brushing the tip of his index finger over his hairline, he winced as he finally locked eyes with himself in the mirror. He found the cut he had split open with that head-butt move he utilized earlier. And the bump on the back of his head was still aching...He wondered if Seifer hurt too. Probably. After thoroughly cleaning himself, Squall slowly began peeling off his shirt...maybe a nap...? His thoughts scattered about, here and there...
Dr. K: "I've got just the thing; I even have what you need to repair the cut." Dr. Kadowaki bustled about for a bit getting everything for him, "Here you are, you can use the sink behind me, remember to use only cold water."
Seifer: Seifer nodded, he knew that. Taking all of the stuff he was given to the back counter he removed his trench and gloves then set to work fixing his precious coat. Once the blood was gone and the slash closed Kadowaki made him sit through her ministrations until she was satisfied that he was patched up and not likely to fall over from blood loss or go into a comma from sleeping with a concussion. She suggested that he should probably go to the dorms and use the shower as he left the infirmary. And as he walked through the Garden Seifer realized that was probably a good idea, everyone was looking at him in horror, and he was pretty sure it wasn't just because of who he was. The only problem he foresaw was not having clean clothes to wear... maybe Zell had something that would fit him? Hoping the blonde martial artist still had the same dorm room as when Seifer was last here, he went to the dorms and knocked on the door, though he knew that Zell probably wasn't in his room at the moment. What was the harm in trying after all?
Zell: Zell happened to be in his room-he was packing up and about to head out to the city. Just as he approached the door and was about to leave, a knock or two came out of nowehere. "Huh?" He opened the door, and came eye to eye with the tall, blonde, and horrific. "S-Seifer! What are ya doin' here?" Zell quirked an eyebrow and took a few steps back. Wasn't he out dueling with Squall? "Hey, where's Squall?" He noticed the man didn't look too bad, which meant that he hadn't gotten the proper pounding he deserved. Was Stoney alright?
Seifer: The door opened shortly after Seifer had knocked on it revealing the horrified face of Zell. "Geez, you're just like /him/! I'm not always a terrible person you know." Seifer huffed out, "Dr. Kadowaki suggested that I take a shower and I don't have any cloths with me, I was wondering if I could barrow something from you until I can wash my own. I'll even wash them before I give 'em back. I'd ask Squall, but he's smaller than me and I doubt he'd have anything I could wear. He's probably in his dorm. I told him to see the doc, but he didn't. Of course." The scarred blonde rolled his eyes and waited for an answer.
Zell: "Then prove it!" Zell replied, as he turned around and animatedly folded his arms over his chest. After thumping his foot on the ground a few times as if he were waiting for an answer, the blonde sighed gently and turned his head to the side in order to glance back at Seifer. "Fine. I'll give ya some clothes, but go shower elsewhere!" _ Zell went straight to his dresser and balled up a few clothes and then chucked them at Seifer. Part of him wanted to go check on Squall since Seifer said he didn't go to the infirmary, but the other part of him knew well that he had to head to the city; he had people to meet and things to do and he was already late as it was. Brushing past Seifer, Zell closed the room to his dorm and stood out in the hall with him. "I'd check on Squall but I've gotta get! Go yell at Selphie or Quistis to get him to the infirmary or somethin'!" What was the point in asking, like hell Seifer would listen. Forgetting about it already, Zell figured Squall would be fine. And so he left.
Seifer: Zell was asking him to /prove/ that he wasn't always a terrible person? Wasn't rushing in to help the in Timber a clue? Sure he'd been an ass, but he'd really been scared for them, it was the only reason he'd gone. And even under Ultimecia's spell, every time he fought them, he never truly tried to kill them, he couldn't. His little orphan family, Rajin and Fujin were all he had! Fuck 'em, whatever! Having cloths tossed in his face Seifer caught them reflexively, "Thanks." But Zell was already talking again and didn't hear him. Yeah, after his shower he'd talk to Quistis, she was good at making Squall do stuff. Heading down to the common shower room he went in and showered, changed into Zell's duds and then found a washing machine. He tossed in his cloths and went in search of Quistis, however he had no idea where she'd be since she wasn't an instructor any more. Passing Xu in the hallway he asked her where Quistis could be found. With a surprised physique she told him where her office was and Seifer headed there. He paused at the door and knocked, waiting.
Quistis: Quistis felt like she was drowning, every time she got a pile of paperwork done, three more stacks showed up. Her conference call had started off badly and ended only slightly better, it seemed to have set the tone for her day. Hearing a knock on her door she looked up with a frown, if that was more paperwork she'd scream! "Come in."
Seifer: Hearing the controlled strain in her voice Seifer winced, he really hoped this wouldn't make her snap. He pushed open the door and went inside, "Hey Q..." The blonde paused, his green eyes taking in the stacks and stacks of papers, "Shit, you need a break. Come help me convince our fearless Commander to see the doc."
Quistis: "Wait, what?" Quistis looked up at Seifer as he came over to her desk. "Where is he?"
Seifer: "Probably his dorm room. Hyne that guy is /so/ retarded!" Seifer put his hands on his hips and shook his head.
Quistis: "Hmmm, alright, let's go." They left the room and went back to the dorms, where Quistis knocked on the door down a door and across the hall from Zell's.
Squall: Squall, currently curled up in a ball on his bed shirtless, opened his eyes slowly as soon as he heard the knock. Who could that be? Already slightly annoyed, he calmly sat up from his bed and opened the door a crack-revealing only a sliver of his delectable navel and up. A stormy eye locked onto Quistis, and he turned his head to the side and sighed a slow, heated breath-letting his hand further open the door in the process as he turned around. He then took a seat on his sofa, hunching himself forward so that he leaned his forearms casually over his parted leather encoated and belted legs. He had vaguely noticed Seifer was there, thanks to his peripheral vision-and could already piece together what happened. They probably were 'worried' about him and wanted to make him go pay Dr. K for a visit. The brunette didn't bother asking what it was, he instead waited for another one of Quistis's predictable lectures.
Seifer: Quistis and Seifer entered the room as Squall opened the door and sat on his sofa. Seifer gave Quistis a look and she nodded. After that he closed the door behind them and leaned against it while Quistis went over and leaned against the Commander's bed across from his seated self. Looking the brunette over Seifer finally had to admit to himself that he was indeed bi. The Commander was gorgeous, all sculpted muscle and clear tanned skin, the lack of shirt wasn't helping calm the green eyed man's imagination any.
Quistis: Quistis walked over and leaned against Squall's bed, crossing her ankles and folding her arms across her stomach. "Well you look alright, and I'm guessing you were sleeping? Since you woke up from it just fine you probably don't have that bad of a concussion. I'll go and tell Dr. Kadowaki that you're fine, since she patched up Seifer already she knows what happened and is probably worried about you." With that the strawberry blonde pushed Seifer out of the way and left the room.
Seifer: Being pushed out of the way was a bit unexpected, but the blonde let it slide as it distracted him from his wayward thoughts. Well this is awkward... Seifer leaned back against the door again once it was shut. "I know you don't like being fussed over... but sometimes it's a good thing."
Squall: Without thinking really, the russet haired male subconsciously began rubbing his bare side, where Seifer had kicked him. He listened to Quistis's words, and let her leave without a word. As for Seifer, he stuck around-and in truth, Squall didn't really mind. "...Yeah," came a flat, contemplative response...instead of the usual 'whatever'. He figured that Seifer had already gone to Dr. K, judging by what he wore and the company he came along with.
Seifer: Seifer smirked, one word answers, Squall's forte. But at least this one wasn't the normal 'whatever'. "So, my old sparring partner and my ex. How's that going?" He was genuinely curious, he'd really liked Rinoa, Seifer just hadn't been able to put up with how whiney and bossy she could be. He figured she'd find someone weaker willed... not someone he'd thought stronger willed than him. Seifer rested his gaze on Lionhart, feeling that looking at Squall could very well undo him. Plus being in Zell's slightly too big clothing was getting to him. He needed to check his cloths soon.
Squall: A bit surprised by Seifer's sudden question, but not showing it, Squall leaned back in the sofa-letting his shoulder blades meld into the softness against it. "Fine..." Squall lied, not really understanding why Seifer even cared to ask. Unless... "...You jealous?" came a casual, yet faintly amused tone. The dark haired Commander hugged himself, letting his forearms rest near his navel-against his belts.
Seifer: Seifer had nodded when the younger man had said it was going fine, though he suspected otherwise, since Rinoa had obviously wanted his attention this morning. He was taken aback when Squall suddenly asked him if he was jealous though, how'd he get something like that from a simple question? Not that it mattered he guessed, "No I'm not. I'm glad she found someone to care for her; she's a really sweet girl - when she's not whining or being bossy at any rate." His green gaze moved from the sword to the relaxed pose Squall had acquired, he really wondered why the man hadn't chased him off yet. "And while I'm glad I can amuse you, I'd really like to not be in Zell's cloths anymore, so I'm going to go check if mine are done yet." So saying the blonde stood from his leaning position and went out the door.
Squall: It seemed like Almasy didn't understand. But it didn't matter. The Commander smirked lightly in response to Seifer's response, however-that smirk happened to disappear as soon as the blonde exited the room. Admittedly, Seifer looked really...funny in Zell's clothes. It really didn't suit him. Randomly wondering, Squall started picturing Seifer in different clothes. His uniform...that was nice, what else? Wait...what the hell was he thinking? (Probably should see Dr. Kadowaki after all...) Ruffling a hand through his hair, Squall languidly made his way to his bed, and tossed himself there carefully. Back to nap mode. Then conference in two hours. So he slept.
Seifer: Seifer went about putting his cloths in the dryer and then waited around for them to be done, which unfortunately took half an hour. A whole lotta time where Seifer was bored and had nothing to do but picture the way Squall had looked half clothed. The idea's from before about the gown and him sweating and panting below him took on a whole new erotic form as he now knew what the man really looked like. Hearing the buzzer on the dryer He quickly got his cloths and went to the bathroom to change, then went back and washed Zell's cloths, another forty-five minutes of his life to daydream about a guy he'd never have. When the cloths were done he folded them and then grabbed a spare bag and put the cloths in it and hung it on Zell's door. That done he wandered to the library wondering if Fujin and Rajin had got here yet.
