Chapter 4

Danneille was so excited she could hardly breathe! Here he was, her knight in shining armour coming to save her from this long, long nightmare. Pierre was gone and so were most of his men. Henry's timing could'nt have been any more perfect! She could hear him talking to his gaurds.

H: "Search everywhere! I don't care if it takes hours, search! We must find Daneille!"

She watched his gaurds enter the palace. This time she knew he would find her...She could hear footsteps coming up the stairs. They were getting closer and closer. She felt her heart jump with joy when she heard Henry say "in there! search in there!" She could'nt help but scream at the top of her lungs!

D: "Henry! Henry im in here! Please, help me!"

H: "She's in there! Break the door down! Do whatever it takes!"

It felt like it was taking hours for them to bust down the locked door. She stayed back because she did'nt want to get hurt when they succeded. Every day that she spent locked up in this hell was worth it. She was finally free! But what about Rodmilla? Where was she? What would she do if she found out Henry saved her? Oh, she didnt care care at this point! She just wanted out of there! Finally, the door broke free.

H: "Daneille! Oh, Daneille are you alright? What did that scoundrel do to you? I shall have his head for keeping you locked in this hell hole!"

D: "Henry!"

Henry lunged for Daneille, but then noticed something odd.

H: "Oh dear...did he do this to you, darling?"

Daneille fell to the floor, sobbing. She was pregnant with Pierre's child. And she wouldnt be able to hide it for much longer.

D: "Oh Henry...I don't know what to do."

H: "Darling, dont you worry about a thing. You're safe now, and I will take care of you. Believe me when I say this: Pierre Le Peu WILL pay for all that he's done."

They started out the rooms doorway, walked down the stairs and into the main hall. Daneille knew she was safe now. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, one of Henry's gaurds came running into the castle.

Gaurd: "Your majesty! Pierre! He's coming through the gates and has spotted us!"

Daneille's heart sunk. It wasnt over yet, she knew Pierre wouldnt go down without a fight. But most of all, she knew what he was capable of and that Henry and herself were in grave danger.
