The moment the bell rang once more, Finn stood up from his seat like lightning.

"Whoa. Aren't you excited." Jake said, standing up from his chair as well.

"Duh! What do you think?" Finn's reply was happy. Too happy. Which is unusual considering he was totally cranky an hour ago.

Gumball approached them, "You really haven't thought of this through haven't you Finn?" The pink-haired genius said, raising a brow. Finn also raised a brow at this,

"What are you talking about?"

Gumball sighed, "Did you forgot already?" He suddenly pointed a finger at Bubblegum's direction, who was busy talking to a few girls, "Weren't you suppose to hang out with Bubblegum after school?"

Finn did not really thought of it through.

'Fuck...'

And now he was panicking.

"Oh my glob! What should I do!? I can't be at two places at once! That's obvious but-" As the blonde rambled.

"Dude!" Jake laid both hands on his best friend's shoulders, "Why don't you just hang out with that other chick instead?"

"And break Bubblegum's heart!? NO WAY! But I can't break Fionna's-" 'Fionna huh?' Jake thought, "-heart either! That'd be mean! And I just said to her-"

"Woah!" Jake exclaimed just to cut off the other, he was about to say something when Gumball suddenly spoke,

"How are you even gonna break their hearts when you're not even in an intimate relationship with them?"

Damn. Jake was supposed to say that. But the short blonde agreed nonetheless with a nod.

"Yeah. Besides Finn, you've already hung out with Bubblegum a lot of times now. You should hang out with, uh, what was her name again?"

"Fionna." Finn answered.

Jake snapped his fingers, "Right! That Fionna chick!" He finished with his trademark smile. And the taller blonde seemed unsure and troubled at the thought.

Seeing Finn was remaining quiet and not replying at all, "Hey, don't worry! I'll tell her!" Jake reassured his homie.

For the first time inside the classroom(not really), Finn smiled. But he still felt horrible at the thought of cancelling his plan with Bubblegum.

"Thanks homie!"

"No problem homie!" The two brothers/best friends/homies hugged each other for a second.

"I will never understand this, 'homie', you refer to each other as." Gumball piped in.

"Yo! What up homies!" Marceline approached them. Gumball only sighed in annoyance at this.

"Am I the only one around here who does not use that term?" The pinky genius asked nobody in particular.

"Hey homies, how ya' doin'?" And then there was Marshall. Gumball looked more annoyed. His face was so priceless Marceline had to take out her cellphone and take a picture.

"Seriously?"

"What? You were asking weren't you?" The Vampire King only shrugged while the others chuckled/giggled.

(I know you're going to say yes to me, so let's just go.)

Finn was so happy he was skipping.

Wait, skipping? No, screw that. Thaft was not manly. Besides, Marshall was bound to mess with him about it. 'Good thing I shut him up for the day...'

Finally reaching the clubhouse, he leaped towards the entrance, enthusiastic already. Did I mention how he was slightly bouncing his way here? No? Well, Finn wouldn't want to realize that anyway.

The blonde boy opened the lights and he had to adjust his eyes at the onslaught of brightness. 'I swear, the lights here are so bright it's always like I'm facing the sun...' His mind decided on closing one of the lights instead.

"Hey."

Finn's body snapped towards the source of the voice like a whiplash. And he was immediately greeted with the sight of Fionna holding a-'Pink?'-oak sword. Finn said the words that came into his mind.

"Nice sword." He whistled to add up more of his impression towards the pink object. Sure it was pink and pink is a (very) girly color but he did find it cool. You don't see a pink oak sword everyday don't you? And an awesome and beautiful girl who also knows kendo to sum it all up.

"Thanks. Cake gave it to me on my b-day." Fionna said as she stepped inside, recalling the place before turning to Finn with a raised brow, "Where's your sword?" Just from the tone of her voice, Finn knew she, too, is excited. He also noted how they weren't so awkward to each other all of a sudden after their chat during lunch.

'Things are going better than I expected! Flippin' A!' "Don't get too excited now!" Finn chuckled as he picked up his own-'Red huh?'-oak sword. The blonde female also whistled.

"Nice sword." She complimented, when did she get into that stance? Sure enough, she already had her sword infront of her, holding it with both hands with a confident smirk Finn found attractive. "You ready?" Oh wow is this girl enthusiastic, they haven't even changed out of their uniforms yet!

The blonde boy smirked as well, positioning himself, "Always."

The blonde girl's smirk only got a wider, "Good."

With their own battle cries, the two charged towards each other, and the clash of their oak swords resounded around the clubhouse.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh,

Sorry for the wait and the lame and super short chapter?
