Hello world...okay please don't kill me. I know I've been gone for a really really really long time, and I'm sorry for that. I didn't have a laptop then so I couldn't do anything, but now I do so don't kill me...Okay so here's the chapter. I hope this suffices for my 4 month hiatus.

Chapter 3~
I find it hard to believe that out of all the things to happen to me, it just had to be a confession. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a guy and a girl blushing up a storm; it's cute. But when it happens to me...well I just don't know what to say. So, here I am, on top of the school roof with my arm crossed under my chest, and a small scowl on my face staring at this flustered first year who called me up here...this oughta be good.
"U-Um A-Arisa, I-I," the guy in front of me, kinda cute with auburn hair and light green eyes, stuttered...man is this going to take long. I have to be home soon pal.
"Hey, um, Daichi is it," the male in front of me looked up in surprise, "I need to get home soon sooo, whatever you need to tell me, can you hurry it up."
"O-Oh yes, of course...Well I called y-you up here because...b-because...Ireallylikeyouwillyoupleasegooutwithme,"he blurted out. What he just said sounded a lot like gibberish, but I think I know what he said.
I sighed. Now here comes the hard part. "I'm really sorry, but I can't," Daichi's shoulders slumped, "Please don't be mad. It's not you, it's me." I waved at him and walked over to the door. I didn't even bother to turn around when I heard a whimper as I opened the door. Now you all might think I'm some type of cruel girl who does stuff like that for fun, but it's the complete opposite. I really do feel bad that I have to reject these guys non-stop, no joke, it just gets so annoying over time. I don't think I can take anymore of this stuff.
I walked down the steps headed back to my class to get my stuff, waving to people as they walked by. I need to think about what I'm going to make for everyone today. Would like some sukiyaki or something else? I'll see what we have in the fridge. As I thought on what me and Ukyo were going to make for dinner, I didn't see to notice Misaki trying to get my attetion.
"Arisa! Arisaaaaaa," she practically yelled in my ear to get my attention. I jumped up surprise and turned to look at her in a glare. She waved at me with a look of annoyance on her face then grinned. "I was trying to get to hear me Risa-chan."
"Well I'm sorry, I was kind of in the middle of trying to figure out what to make tonight." She looked at me in confusion then snapped her fingers in realization. "You just now figured out why I said that didn't you...you sure are slow sometimes."
"I am not slow," she huffed, "I just didn't know what you meant when you said 'make dinner for tonight'. Sooooooo, how are you, with having siblings I mean?"
I shrugged. "It's okay I guess. I didn't like it at first, I still feel kind of uncomfortable, but it's a work in progress." Misaki nodded her head and drew me to her by my shoulder. "Hey," I groaned when she hugged me.
"I'm so proud of you~! My Risa-chan is growing up, next thing you know you might find yourself a boyfriend," she said as she spun me around in excitement. After much protest, Misaki finally stopped spinning me around, but I felt really dizzy.
"I think the room is spinning," I said, a little disorientated. I love Misaki like a sister, but sometimes she does a little too much.
"Oh you'll be fine," she looked down at her watch then gasped, "Oh crap I have to get home!" She ran into our classroom, which I didn't know that we were already at. I watched as Misaki grabbed all of her belongings and shoved them into her maroon bag, her Naruto keychain jingling as she picked up her bag and put it on her back like a book-bag. "If I'm late again mom is gonna cut off my gaming privileges, again! Listen Risa-chan I'll call you later tonight, maybe, if my mom doesn't try to take my phone from me too." She gave me a one arm hug and walked out of the room. She waved at me as I did so and was gone. I sighed.
"I'm on my own I guess," I said as I went to gather my school bag.
Tonight was going to be interesting.
When I had made it home I looked around. Apparently everyone wasn't going to be home for awhile. Before I left school I had asked Yusuke if he wanted to walk home with me, but all he said was 'n-no thanks' and walked away from me rather quickly...was there something wrong. Recently, he's been acting really weird every time I try to talk to him. His face turns red and he stutters a lot. I asked Misaki if she had any clue as to why he acted that way, but all I got from her was a smirk.
"Chiiiiiiii," I heard coming from down the hall. Juli scampered up to me and ran up to my shoulder. "Chi I'm so happy you're home! Did anybody touch you while you were in school?!"
I shook my head as I chuckled, giving his head a small pat. "No Juli, nobody touched me. I'm germ free if that's what you're asking." Juli sweatdropped and shook his head. What did I say? I walked down the steps looking around in confusion.
"No ones here," I said as I walked over to the den area. It was pretty dark in here too.
Juli sniffed. "Nope, I sense the presence of a male." I heard a strange sound as I got closer to the den area. I walked up over to the closest couch and looked down. There lying down was a boy with light brown hair with the left side clipped back, wearing a green-blue striped shirt and a gray vest. He was sound asleep on the couch.
"Isn't this the other brother, Fuuto Asakura," I asked as I stared down at him. I leaned in to get a closer look but stopped when I saw his eyes open. He looked up at him in confusion.
"Who're you," he asked as he sat up, brushing his hand through his hair. "Someone's woman." My eye twitched at that.
"No, I'm not," I said calmly as I tried my best not to punch this kid.
"Listen, I don't know how you got in here, but what makes you think that you can pull a stunt like this," he said to me. I grit my teeth and clenched my fists tightly. Do. Not. Lose. Control. Over. Temper.
I inhaled then exhaled and repeated that until I was calm enough to speak. "I'm not anyone's woman. I moved in here a couple of days ago." Fuuto looked at me in slight surprise and stood up from the couch.
"Oh, so you're the daughter of the man that Miwa is marrying." Miwa? He calls his mother by her name, how rude is that. Even though I'm adopted I still call my dad 'dad', cause he is a father to me.
I nodded my head stiffly as confirmation to what he said. "Yep, I am."
He rose his eyebrow at me as he walked around the couch. "So you are, huh." He walked over until he and I were eye to eye. He was to close gosh darn-it!
He looked me over several times then stopped and looked me in the eye again. "You are a beautiful person-," he said as he grinned. I blushed at his compliment. "-but you do look kind of stupid too." My blush disappeared and was replaced with a glare. How dare he!
"Or rather, I bet you are an idiot," he said as he looked at me. I wanted to say something, I really wanted to say something, or rather beat this brat up for calling me stupid, but I wasn't. I told myself that I was going to be nice and that is exactly what I was gonna do. I kept my mouth shut.
"So, you're not going to deny that. You really are an idiot," Fuuto turned and started to walk away. He waved as he walked. "See ya around, baka onee-chan." ...Now I fully regret not knocking some sense into that brat.
"He is so getting a beating from me when I see him again."
After that little mishap with Fuuto, I went to my room ready to get out of my school uniform. I wanted to completely forget about that idiot. I walked down the hall of the complex, walking past the other rooms. When I finally got to my room, I opened the door and walked in. I stretched my arms out while avoiding knocking Juli off.
"I'm so glad I'm home," I said as I fell on my bed and sighed. Juli was right next to me with his little arms crossed.
"What is wrong with that little punk," he screeched, "He is so twisted it's crazy!" I looked over at him as he continued to rant.
"I understand where you're coming from. I'm still a little ticked at what he said, but that doesn't mean I should hold a grudge or anything." I sat up and leaned down to look at Juli. "I just want to avoid any problems at all cost, and if that means avoiding all of them then that's fine with me.
Juli huffed and turned his head away. "It's not your fault that Chi, and by all means avoid them." I chuckled and gave him a pat on his head.
"You really know what to say to a girl don't ya Juli," I giggled. Man was it going to be weird from now on. If I have to go through one more thing then I'm gonna snap...but for my dad I'll try to be the best that I can be. Maybe I can find something to do for them as thanks for letting me stay here with them. Yeah, that sounds good. I got up from my bed and walked over to my dresser drawer.
"It won't be long until the wedding, so I have to try and get used to this setting, for dad," I declared as I searched through my drawer for some of my casual clothes.
When I was finished changing out of my uniform into my regular clothes, I walked back downstairs to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I expected to see an empty kitchen, but what I didn't expect was Ukyo in the kitchen already setting filled grocery bags on the counter.
"Welcome back," I said with a smile. Ukyo looked up at me in surprise, his eyes wide in shock. What did I say?
"Um, is everything alright," I asked in confusion. He shook his head and turned away with a tint of pink on his face.
"No, I was just surprised is all. It's been a while since anyone has said 'welcome back' to me," he looked back at me and smiled. He grabbed what looked like an apron from off of the counter and began to tie it around his waist and neck...it's that pink apron again. "So, you met Fuuto." I nodded my head.
"I did...he was interesting." Ukyo chuckled lightly as he finished tying the apron around him.
"Yes, he is a little out there but you'll get used to him." I highly doubt that. "It is a good thing you saw him though because he's going back out again, and won't be back for a day or two." Hallelujah!
I mentally cheered for joy when he said those words. "Oh that's too bad," I said trying not to sound to happy about the news. I heard Julie next to me chattering away about 'on less male to deal with'. For once I agree with him, even thought I still don't know what he means.
"It's a shame though, it just means that he won't be here for Subaru's birthday," I perked at the word 'birthday', "He's turning 20 this year." I smiled in delight.
"Oh I love birthday's! Making sweets is a specialty of mine, besides other foods of course." Ukyo looked at me in surprise once again as he emptied the grocery bags.
"Is that so, well if you don't mind me asking, would it be alright if you went out and bought the stuff for his birthday," he walked over to me and handed me a list, "I would do it but I have so much to do here along with my own personal business." My eye twitched as I read over his list. It sure was a lot written on this small sheet of paper. I looked up at the blonde haired man and nodded my head.
"I'll make sure to get it all ASAP," I said as I put the list in my skirt pocket.
Ukyo smiled. "Oh thank, I appreciate it." He gave me a pat on my head and walked back over to the kitchen...there goes me helping out with dinner. I sighed and walked away headed for the entrance.
"You didn't have to say yes Chi," Juli said. I shook my head.
"No, I have to. I don't want to be a burden on them, so this is one of the things I can do to help," I replied as I walked to the elevator. I pressed the down button and saw it light up. I waited for a good minute when I heard a ding. I saw the doors slowly slide open, and inside of the elevator stood Subaru himself. What a coincidence.
I smiled and waved at him as I walked into the elevator. He gave me a small smile back with a tint of pink on his face and turned his head away. I looked up at him in confusion. Why does he keep looking away from me every time I look at him, it makes no sense.
"...A-Are you headed down," he asked me in a stutter.
I nodded my head. "Yeah I am. Ukyo wanted me to go out and buy a few more things. Are you headed out to?" He nodded his head stiffly.
"I am...I have to go to practice today."
I looked at him and smiled. "For your Basketball team right," he turned to look at me in shock, "Yeah, I heard from one of the others that you play. I hope I get to see you play soon." The elevator dinged again and the doors opened. Both me and Subaru walked out headed towards the door.
"I'll see ya later," I said as I walked away. As I kept walking I didn't hear Subaru say a quiet see ya.
"Man these are heavy," I said tiredly. I was walking home on the way from the store with at least 4 heavy bags of groceries. I want to curse at Ukyo for giving me a freakishly long list, but I digress. I'm to tired to even speak right now.
"Are you okay Chi," Juli asked me in concern. I nodded my head as I kept walking.
"Don't worry about me. I've been put in charge of doing this along with Subaru's birthday preparations...but maybe I can take a break." I slumped down to the ground and dropped the bags next to me. I sighed.
"Man, Subaru's lucky I find him cool or else I wouldn't be doing this at all," I put my hands on my face and kneeled down on my thighs, "I bet he could carry all this though since he does all that roadwork a long with his training."
"She noticed that." I turned around wondering if someone was behind me. No one was there, weird.
"What's the matter Chi." I looked behind me one more time then shrugged.
"Nothing Juli, I just thought that someone was behind me," I grabbed the bags and stood up again with a grunt. I hope this is considered exercise cause I am definitely feeling a burn in both of my arms. I hefted up the bags again and started walking.
"I'm finally home," I said in relief. Walking a whole block with these heavy bags is a pain, speaking of pain I think I feel my arms throbbing right about now. As I walked down the hall towards the kitchen I saw something, a pair of legs. I gasped and ran over to help whoever was on the floor. When I saw it was Louis I put down the bags and knelt down next to him. I got a closer look at his face and saw that he was sleeping...I understand that a person needs sleep but I doubt that it was needed on the floor.
"Louis," I said as I shook him. He moved slightly then his eyes fluttered open. He looked up at me with a very calm expression on his face as he sat.
"Oh my, it looks like I didn't make it to the couch," he said as ruffled his hair. I couldn't really say anything as he moved his hand and started twirling my long auburn hair. "You have such nice long hair. It's so pretty, but it would be prettier of you let me style it." Eh?
"Um, why do you want to style it," I asked nervously as I felt his hands rake through my hair. This was getting weird.
"Well today is Subaru's birthday so I thought maybe you would want to look nice," I saw his gaze move down from my hair to my attire. His lips thinned as he looked me over...okay so I didn't really take care to think of what I was wearing today, so what. I see no problem in wearing a pair of over-all's, with a green tank top underneath that had a cute smiling cat on it. I find stuff like this to suit me more.
"I can only style your hair but I can't do much about your wardrobe," he chuckled when he saw me frown, "I didn't mean to offend you. I just thought that maybe you would want to dress up for today." Oh, that's what he meant.
"I think I might have something to wear," I said in thought. There was a dress that Misaki bought me for my 15th birthday that I've never worn. I never told her that though.
Louis nodded. "That's good. I would like to see you wear it so I know what to do with your hair. If that's fine with you." I nodded.
"That's fine with me." He nodded.
"I'm going to go get my things." He got up from the floor and walked away towards his room. I stared after him and sighed. Of all the things I have to wear it has to be that dress...at least it won't be for nothing. Subaru's birthday is as good as any special event to wear that dress, even if I don't want to wear it.
I really don't want to wear it though.
"Chiiiii you don't have to wear that dress?!" Julie screeched as he ran up to me.
"It's alright Julie, it's for a special day, and I really should take it out," I said as I stood up, "A white dress shouldn't be left in a box for too long or else it'll get too dusty and messed up." Yeah, a white spaghetti strap dress that goes down just a couple of inches to my knees. I sighed as I got up from the floor and walked to my room. I wonder what hair style he's going to give me, I mean I do have a lot of hair, and considering how long it takes to wash it it's going to take long to do it...oh well.
"I'll just see what he does I guess."
Konnichiwa minna-san! I'm sorry for not doing this sooner. I really mean it too. College was a hassle so I didn't have time, but I'm on summer break now so expect more from this story cause I have some big plans. I have also decided to do each episode in parts for each chapter. I'm tired right now from just doing this. So this is part on of episode 2. Part two will be the rest of the episode. I hope to see some R&R.
