AN: For a while I considered not finishing this story, but shadowglove convinced me to continue and if anyone is even reading this anymore, you should thank her because if she had not convinced me this story would have probably remained unfinished. The chapters may be short, but at least I will be updating.

Chloe stood up as her eyes flashed in anger. All she wanted was to be left alone and Reid couldn't even respect that. "If you don't leave right now then I will force you to leave using any means I have to. Now I haven't unleashed much of my power because I am still learning and usually I would hate to hurt anyone, but I think I can make an exception for you if you won't leave. I am giving you one last chance to leave on your own and if I were you I would take my offer to heart."

The blond male rolled his eyes at her threat. "You know what Chloe, go ahead and do your worst. I have been forced to listen to your empty threats for weeks now and if you are going to do something then do it, I am tired of waiting around for you to take action. do whatever you have to, but just fucking do it already will you?"

The blond reporter hesitated for a moment because truthfully she didn't want to hurt Reid, but if given no other option then she would. "Why won't you just leave me alone? Are you so messed up that you want me to hurt you?"

"I just want you to do whatever it is you have to do so we can move on from this." He replied with a sigh before stretching his arms out at his sides almost as if he were ready to sacrifice himself. "Come on Chloe, you know you want to do it. You talk about it all the time well now is the time for you to act or do you need me to rile you up first? I bet you need me to piss you off before you can do anything right? Well that shouldn't be too hard. I could also go in to how fucked up you are again, that seemed to work pretty well this last time."

Anger started to bubble up from her very core and Chloe was doing her very best to stop it from taking control. "Shut up Reid, you need to shut up right now or-"

He was quick to cut her off. "Or what Chloe? What are you going to do? You may as well accept the fact you are all bark and no bite. You won't do anything to me."

Finally having had enough, Chloe felt her power build up inside of her before suddenly exploding. A white light shot from her hands and for a brief moment she was blinded before it finally started to dim. When she was finally able to see again the sight before her eyes startled her greatly. Reid was suspended mid air with what looked like white electrical tendrils coming from her hands. If she had been able to see herself she would have realized that she was also suspended mid air with what looked like blue electrical tendrils twisted around her body. If she had tried to move she would of found it to be impossible. As it was she couldn't even speak nor could she control her magic in her current state. All Chloe Sullivan could do in this moment was was keep eye contact with Reid Garwin as darkness finally took over.

If either Chloe or Reid had been awake by this point, one of them probably would have realized what was happening. Caleb, Pogue, and Tyler could feel a drastic change as could Chase, but none of them understood what it was or why it was happening. All Caleb could sense for sure was that it had something to do with Reid and Chloe and whatever it was it was powerful. Immediately he knew they needed to get to them and fast.

Chase, like Caleb, wanted to get to Chloe because for his plan to succeed he needed her. He could care less about the Garwin boy, he could die for all he cared, but Chloe was a different matter all together. He needed her and was going to have her whether he had to force her or not. He would rather she come to him willing, but it didn't have to be that way and no matter how he got her, well it did not really matter. In the end as long as he had Chloe, it would all work out for the best. He would get the revenge he had wanted for a long while now and nothing and nobody would be able to stop him, especially if he had Chloe Sullivan under his control.

Back at the apartment Chloe and Reid were finally released from their magical restraints though they were still not awake so when this happened they fell to the floor with a small thud. their hands were barely touching by the fingertips, but the parts that were touching looked as if they were glowing. It would be about an hour later when Clark, Caleb, and the others found them, but by that point both would slowly be waking up and that is when things would start to get interesting for everyone in the small town of Smallville Kansas. Nothing would be the same after this and it was not yet known if that would end up being a good thing or a bad one. Only time would tell and the decisions everyone made from this point on would determine the outcome of the entire situation, and whatever happened, it would change everything for more than just the small group of people involved, it would change the course of the entire world.
