CHAPTER 4

Yuuki's P.O.V

Aido had left the room right after Kurai left, he should be returning soon like he always does. His almost like a lost puppy trailing after me. I giggled at the thought causing Kaname to look at me raising his eyebrow in question. I considered revealing my thought but that would embarrass Aido so…Actually I think I might tell Kaname after all.

"I was just thinking with the way Aido has never gone from my side for long and the way he would tend to follow me around makes me think of a lost puppy trailing after me, with a wagging tail" I manage to tell him all what I was thinking to Kaname and giggles so he could understand what I said or meant. I didn't want to make Kaname think I'm making fun of Aido or sound mean.

Kaname's P.O.V

When she started her explanation I turned back to the window only to snap my head back to her when she finished explaining, she was trying to control her laughter which is sure to burst out soon.

"Really?" I asked by trying not to laugh at the image of Aido sitting like a dog with the ears and tail happily awaiting his next command. I tried to hold my laughter but when I cannot no longer hold it in I turned my back facing towards the window covering my mouth then the laughter escaped me and started laughing in the thought of Aido as a lost puppy. Yuuki looked over towards me having to hear me laugh then she started to laugh along with me.

Then the door opened again as someone had entered the room. Both Yuuki and I looked towards the door when stood Aido at the door causing us to laugh harder at the sight of Aido confused with his head tilted to the side making him look like a confused puppy.

"What's so funny?" Aido asked as he tilted his head to the other side causing our laughter to increase and to lean on each other so we didn't fall to the floor laughing. Aido looked so lost and he pouted like an angry and sad puppy having to not understand why we are laughing so much and we weren't telling him the reason for it. Soon Aido's cousin along with Ruka had come in looking shocked and confused with Rima and Shiki that entered after them taking a sit not even the slightest sign of caring what's going on in the room besides Aido and Ruka.

As soon as everyone had spread around the room getting comfortable to where they are, I looked towards everyone to see that a few of them wants to know what's happening and when my eyes fall o looking towards Ruka who seem to be looking unpleasant and has a question to ask.

"You have something on your mind you like to share with us Ruka…?" I questioned her on her thoughts as she looks towards me with annoyed and admiration.

"What did Yuuki-sama say that was so amusing?" Ruka questioned the situation from earlier. I looked from Ruka towards Yuuki who looked at me at the same time knowing that we both wondered who will answer the question. Aido nodded in agreement to Ruka's question as he too wants to know why we were laughing harder when he had entered the room. Yuuki turned her body as she looks at everyone behind her. It would seem she will be the one to answer the question since after all she was the one who came up with the little joke.

"Oh just a passing thought that made me laugh causing Kaname to become curious and asked me what I laughed at" Yuuki said seeing Aido and Ruka look confused and tilt their heads, while Kain looked interested as Rima and Shiki continued looking bored.

"And what was this passing thought…?" Ruka asked as Ichijou entered the room.

"What's going on?" Ichijou asked as he took a sit next to Shiki on the couch ha and Rima were occupying.

"We entered the room to find Yuuki-sama and Kaname-sama laughing and Ruka asked whats going on and there were just explaining" Kain said leaning against the wall arms crossed.

"I was just thinking of how Aido had left the room but was sure to return shortly causing me to think of a lost puppy" Yuuki said trying to not lose her composure to laugh again.

"Which caused her to laugh and myself to become curious, so I asked and she explained which caused me to vivid and a realistic image of Aido sitting like a puppy with ears and tail causing me to laugh" I continued seeing she was having trouble no laughing.

"Then Aido entered confirming my thought of him returning shortly" Yuuki said.

"Which then he tilted his head" I said

"Causing him to look like a confused puppy" Yuuki continued

"Making us almost to see his ears and tail" I stated

"Causing us to laugh harder" Yuuki said before laughing I shortly joined in laughing. Aido seemed like a hurt puppy while Ruka was laughing but seemed annoyed, as Kain chuckled in the back ground. Ichijou was laughing so hard he fell off the couch while Shiki and Rima smiled.

"Though now I think more about it, Ruka and Aido are both cute like little lost puppies" Yuuki said while laughing causing me to laugh harder as Ichijou pulled out two dog ears headbands and placed them on Audi's and Ruka's heads. When Ichijou had placed those puppy ears on top of their heads which made our imagination become realistic. Both Aido and Ruka blinked a couple of times in confusion when everyone started to laugh. They held that very same lost confused puppy look. Yuuki pulled out the chairmen's Polaroid camera having to take a picture of them both.

"Bark for your master" Ichijou spoke with a cheeky smile on hes face as Yuuki took a really good picture of Aido and Ruka.

After Yuuki had taken the picture Ruka and Aido both looked at each other when they both realized why everyone was laughing and with Ichijou's comment. Ruka widen her eyes blushing in embarrassment, taking the ears from her head she stood up from her seat suddenly. Ruka glares at Ichijou as if she's to do something to Ichijou. When Ichijou saw the look in Ruka's eyes he makes his way to both me and Yuuki, hiding behind us holding a cheeky grin on his face as he pops his head out from over Yuuki's head and arm draped over my shoulders.

Ruka gripping those puppy ears as she shows outrage when she sees Ichijou's cheeky grin as he peers over Yuuki's head. It caused Ruka to make an attempt to throw the ears hoping to have them it Ichijou's head, but Ichihou ducked of the flying puppy ears. We all continued laughing but Ruka stopped her glaring when she notices me laughing, causing her to withdraw herself and sit back down in her seat. As for Aido he slowly pulled his puppy ears off his head, moving to corner of the room crouching down and curling up, holding his head and emitting an aura of such depression.

"Why…? Why is Yuuki-sama so mean to me!?" Aido questioned to himself, we all faced to see Aido's dark aura covering the corner of the room he sat in, Yuuki approached him, knelt and patted his head. Aido turned his head towards Yuuki with a pout on his lips and tears in his eyes.

"Would you like some Poki?" Yuuki asked Aido, offering the box of chocolate coated treats with a sweet smile on her lips, Aido's face lit up like a happy puppy I could almost see the ears and Wagging tail causing everyone to chuckle. While everyone distracted with Aido, and I looked towards Ruka who sat there in her seat quiet as always seeing that pouting expression on her face.

"A beautidul young lady should not frown, instead always should be seen with a smile" I advised her while standing firmly and calmly, Ruka's reaction was similar yet calmer than Aido's. As her eyes brighten and blushed adorned her cheeks I could almost see the wagging tail and ears. I turned away from her looking of the window again as I gave a light, low chuckle at her antics while everyone fell quiet as soon my brother questioned why we all gathered here.

"So why we all been called here for?" Shiki asked. We all turned to look at Shiki who lounged on the couch with Rima feeding him Poki.

"The reason why I called everyone here…Is we need people to be a good example to our class, of how us students we expect then to be at this Academy" I continued to explain to them. "And I would want you all to be those good examples for the students" I finally got to the point as to why I called them here. Ichijou walked over and leaned over somewhat whispering in my ear his attention was elsewhere.

"Are you sure Aido is up to a task such as this? That holds responsibility when he is too arrogant and a trouble maker" Ichijou said to me. My lips twitched at these words, Aido soon stood from his seat having to hear what Ichijou had said.

"HEY! I would never disobey Yuuki-sama and Kaname-sama" Aido shouted to correct Ichijou. I really do think Aido is predictable and Ichijou chuckled at his reaction as Aido groaned, folding his arms and slumping into his seat, Kain patted his shoulder in pity. Yuuki approached us and flicked Ichijou on the nose which caused him to yelp and jump back holding his nose in surprise, staring in shock at Yuuki.

"Your one to talk Ichijou, you being energetic and childish behavior" Yuuki paused in thought for a moment before continuing "You're so energetic we sometimes wonder if you really are a vampire at all" Yuuki said in a teasing yet sweet tone.

"HA!" Aido exclaimed at Ichijou as he pointed at him while everyone else smiled.

"She has a point" Shiki drawed out in agreement with our cousin.

"I agree, I wonder sometimes if you're a Vampire yet alone Ichio's grandson, with all that energy you seem to have along with your childish behavior" I agreed, Ichijou kneels in front of Yuuki gripping her waist, with tears in his eyes.

"Why are you all picking on me? Yuuki, Kaname is picking on me" Ichijou whines to Yuuki, looking over his shoulder at me with his teary eyes as Yuuki pats his head. "Kaname why is it you being mean to me? I thought we were friends" He continued.

"There there Ichijour don't be upset Kaname is a mysterious creature, for which we will never understand" Yuuki states in a sarcastically wise tone with a cheeky grin.

"Yuuki-sama you should show more respect to the future head of your clan" Ruka shouts, Shiki snaps his blood whip in front of Ruka's face, causing her attention to snap at Shiki.

"You have no right to talk to my cousin that way or be involved in our clan's affairs" Shiki says while glaring at Ruka.

"If you must know Yuuki is the future head of our clan Ruka and you should know your place, which has nothing to do with Kuran affairs of give you any right to speak to a pureblood that way" I told Ruka. Ruka widen her eyes and looked up at me with a shock like expression on her face when she stares at me then she averted her eyes away from me having to hold her pride as she stayed quiet biting her tongue since she…

"THAT IS NOT RIGHT!" or not, apparently Ruka was going to voice her opinions and voice them loudly. It would seem that Ruka has more to say and having to continue making herself get involved into our clan affairs even though we told her not to get herself involved in since it's not any of her concerns.

"Its not of your concern Ruka, you may be our friend but you are not a Kuran by any means, so I am telling you stay out of Kuran business" Yuuki ground out in annoyance. Ruka widen her eyes blinding a couple of times shocking to what Yuuki had said to her. By the look of things Ruka wants to say something back towards her as to see she's quite annoyed to what Yuuki had said to her. You can tell by the tense of her grip of her hand form into a fits.

"Its expected that Kaname-sama will be the head of the Kuran clan…he is the pureblood male and he is the first born of the generation and I have every right to be concerned and involved in this" Ruka said clearly showing defiance against Yuuki's words.

"How do you cone to the conclusion you are involved in the affairs of the Kuran clan?" Shiki questions sitting up straight and becoming more annoyed with Ruka.

"I…I…I am…I am all of your friends, it concerns all of us" Ruka grasped desperately.

"No, it doesn't Ruka, so stay out of this or we will make you stay out of this" Yuuki said in a calm and frightening tone.

"Yuuki is rightful head of the clan, she is a Kuran pureblood, more pure than I, for both her parents are pureblood Kuran's. Uncle Haruka chose her as heir and as a noble you are, have no right to be involved in this decision or our clan's affairs" I said, maybe I have been too lenient with her.

Ruka stood there clenching her hands into a fits as she groaned under her breath annoyed how she cannot get involved into such matters but more annoyed that everyone is taking Yuuki's side.

"Then why is Shiki involved? He isn't a pureblood and noble born out of wedlock so ashamed noble at that" Ruka was grasping at straws now.

"Ruka your grasping at straws now, you know Shiki is a kuran even if he is not a pureblood or one born out of wedlock. He is no shame to this family it is his parents who bare that shame. To insult him just to try to prove a totally ridiculous excuse to be involved in our family affairs is disgraceful" Yuuki growled as she approached only to slap her across the face when she reached Ruka. "Apologize to Shiki" Yuuki ordered Ruka as she went and kneel in front of her cousin hugging him around the waist, as I went and stood behind him resting my hand on his shoulder.

Ruka clenched her fist firmly, just by staring at her and observing her she's outraged to what is happening and that she's being ordered to do something as these that will damage her reputation or pride. She glares towards Yuuki, hesitating to do what Yuuki ordered her to do. Ruka looked towards me as I hold a serious and wanting her to do the same as to what Yuuki had told her to do. Ruka withdraw her prideful appearance in front of everyone, closing her eyes she inhaled then exhaled bowing towards Shiki she apologized for her actions.

"I…I apologize the way I have been acting..and having to insult you, I have no right to speak the way I did…" Ruka finally apologized to Shiki but with that it had caused Ruka to feel a shamed and embarrassed in front of everyone which had caused her to storm out of the room slamming the door behind her as she left the room. Everyone stared at the door which Ruka had left them, everyone looked at each other but we all know Ruka will be fins…Kain soon left after Ruka.
