"I knew this wouldn't end too well," Mackenzie sighed, as she watched Roman spear Ryback, causing all the other ten men to come and attack.

Tonight, the Shield was supposed to take on eleven men from the roster, which turned out to be some of the biggest guys including Rusev, Ryback, Jack Swagger etc.

"I know it's part of the storyline, but it's still kind of brutal to watch," Paige spoke after watching her friends take a merciless beating from just about every male. The two best friends were backstage, playing an innocent game of Go Fish, and waiting for the night to be over.

The old Evolution theme song hit, and the beating ceased as Hunter, Randy and Dave all made their way down to the ring. The eleven other men cleared the ring, letting the veterans enter in the absence. They then began to attack Seth.

"Please watch out for his face," Paige cringed. Mackenzie sniggered at her friend, before grabbing a pair of eights. She then turned her head to the monitor to witness her step father deliver an RKO to Roman.

Dave then delivered a Batista bomb to Roman and Seth, whilst Dean was still laid out in the corner, but then began to fight back, only to be subdued. Dave grabbed him setting him up for a Batista bomb, and Randy awaited to deliver an RKO simultaneously. Randy then dragged Dean to the ropes.

Paige grabbed several pairs of cards before speaking, "Maybe we'll actually have an interesting storyline come out of this."

Mackenzie shrugged as they both watch Hunter deliver Pedigrees to the younger men, before obviously showing the resurgence of Evolution. "Knowing creative, they'll find a way to fuck this up too," she answered.

Paige grabbed another pair of aces from Mackenzie.

"Looks like I win bitch. So, now you have to tell me what's been keeping you so much more quiet than usual," she smiled.

Before Mackenzie could speak, one of the backstage workers came in. "Um, Mrs. Stephanie wants to speak with you," he told her. Paige gave a knowing look to Mackenzie, who just shrugged and began to leave.

"I guess I'll tell you later," and with that she exited the room

"You know, I'm getting a little tired of getting our asses handed to us," Seth joked, as he held an ice back to the back of his neck.

The members of the Shield were sitting in their designated locker room, and were tending to their sore muscles after the beating they had just recently received.

Roman stretched, before letting out a horrendous sound. "Yeah, I'm gonna be feeling that in the morning," he joked. Dean only sent a slight smile.

"You guys have any idea what else they might have in mind for us?" he asked his friends. WWE Creative had told them mostly what they were going to endure with their current storyline, but didn't know all the specifics.

"Guess we'll find out within the next week or so. You know how Hunter likes to keeps thing pretty secretive around here," Roman joked. Seth laughed a little, but Dean said nothing to this

Which was concerning, considering he always had something to say. In that moment, Paige emerged from the locker room, and smirked seeing the three men.

"Looks like you guys got an ass whooping," she laughed. Only Seth seemed to return, while Roman slight smirked back. Dean, however still wasn't saying anything, causing Paige to raise an eyebrow. "You okay there Ambrose?" she questioned. Dean looked at the younger girl, shrugging his shoulders slightly.

"Why don't you ask your little friend," Dean stated, before walking off, further confusing the people around him. Seth, Paige, and Roman all knew that he was referring to Mackenzie, but couldn't figure out what he was exactly talking about.

"What's he talking about Reigns?"

"Beats me. Last time they were together was when you and Seth over here made us all share a room, and they were all cuddled up. As far as I'm concerned, things ended up on a good note," Reigns explained.

"Mackenzie let Dean touch her?" Seth asked.

"She's the one who initiated it honestly. They were talking, and she fell asleep first, and then she cuddled up to him, maybe some subconscious shit, I don't know," and with that Roman left.

"Well, we missed a lot," Paige said after a moment of silence. Seth nodded to this. He knew the dinner they were all about to have, was about to be an interesting one.
