Lloyd got home just in time to see some sort of conflict. Cole and Jay were going back and forth about Nya. "I didn't want you to be mad at me," Cole murmured.

"Angry?" Jay gasped. "Dude! I wouldn't be angry at you for being friends!"

"It's just," Cole stammered.

"What?" Jay asked. "What made you think that I would be angry at you for being friendly with Nya during a training session!?"

"You were aggressive the last time the whole match-making thing was brought on Chen's Island!"

Jay starred at Cole. "But, It's all over now!"

Cole gazed down at the ground. "I wasn't too sure," he murmured. "I was the one who sacrificed myself, thinking things would end peachy and I was the one who began to doubt myself!"

Jay sighed. "No, Cole. I was the one who thought things would be fine! I wasn't thinking about how you must of felt!" Jay shivered. "I was thinking about saving my skin."

Lloyd hopped off of Zane's Titanium Dragon. "What's going on?"

Jay froze, looking quite guilty of the argument. He electric blue eyes portrayed awkwardness and he shrugged innocently.

Cole sighed and answered for them. "Something that shouldn't have happened."

Jay vigorously nodded. "It was a misunderstand about the past!"

"Perhaps," a voice rang out from the doorway. "You two should look to the future rather than the past."

Jay nearly jumped when he heard Wu's voice. He didn't know he was in the doorway! "Yeah," Jay chirped quickly. "We should stop trying to fix the past and rather, fix the future!"

Wu nodded. "I see that you get it," he murmured as he turned to go back inside the Monastery.

"Wait!" Lloyd called. "I need to talk with you!" Lloyd knew that the incident with the Shadow Ninja couldn't wait. Not with their next enemy lurking around the corner!

Wu froze and nodded. "Very well."

Lloyd followed Wu into the dining room and they sat down. "What would you like to tell me?" Wu asked.

Lloyd sighed. "Zane and I were flying over New Ninjago City," he began. Wu nodded in response. "We almost immediately spotted a cluster of citizens surrounding an injured man. We landed to investigate and it turns out, the man wasn't hurt!"

Wu nodded, perplexed and obviously thinking. "Continue." Lloyd nodded sliding his hand down the back of his blonde, suave hair.

"The man seemed almost drunk as he spewed out his weird story," he continued. "He mentioned being assassinated or something when he was miraculously healed by some Shadow Ninja!"

Wu gasped. "A Shadow Ninja?" Lloyd nodded.

"Nobody knows who it is," Lloyd claimed. "But it's likely a girl, seeing Nya and Pixal as our last mystery allies."

Wu shook his head, laughing. "You never really know," he pointed out. "So don't go making the Shadow Ninja uncomfortable by calling it a 'she'."

Lloyd nodded. "I suppose that's the right thing."

Wu nodded. "Good to see you so vigilant, but do you know anything about the attacker?"

Lloyd shook his head. "Nothing, as of now."

Wu sighed. "We need to keep an eye out. He may be our next threat."
