A/N: A few folks have asked me why I took this story down a while back. I can answer this more fully if you PM me, but the long and short of it was I honestly didn't like it or my writing style, and after I became a Christian I didn't like some of the themes and innuendo I had put in. I decided to resurrect it in a more edited form, mainly because I knew there were people that wanted to read it again, AND I didn't want to hide from the writing I did that got me into fanfics. Pink is Back, Chapter 4
"Well, Tommy, I have to admit you have changed quite a bit, the hair, the Ph D, the fact that you showed up on time..." Kim and Tommy both chuckled at that comment. "Not to mention you've become quite the dancer." They both blushed for a moment.
"Well, considering I dated someone who went to a famous Dance School in London, I would hope I got someone better," Tommy said. They both laughed a little more, but Kim realized that she was a little hurt by this.
'He didn't fall in love with her and sleep with he..., no, besides, even if he did, I gave him up, and just because I couldn't find anyone besides him, doesn't mean he couldn't go on with his love life,' Kim thought to herself. Her thoughts were interrupted by another question of Tommy's.
"So you never had a boyfriend after you broke up with me, in the eight years that we've been apart?" Tommy asked.
"Nope, not one, not even a single date," Kim said. "I thought I wanted a change, but afterwards I found it too difficult to actually move forward, you know."
"Wow, I never imagined that," Tommy looked in amazement. Kim had always been outgoing and charismatic, the fact that she probably had a lot of guys attracted to her and she never dated one... That thought made Tommy proud, that he had been her only boyfriend.
"Well, if we are going to open up our love lives, what about you "Dr. O"," Kim stated as she chuckled at the nickname.
"I dated Kat for a while, but nothing too serious, went to prom together, and we broke up when we both went to college, and she was my last girlfriend," Tommy explained. Tommy again interrupted her thoughts. "By the way, I was wondering, I know you're staying in a hotel until you find an apartment and your family brings everything here, but so you don't have to worry about expenses, why don't you stay with me for a while," Tommy said, nervous while he asked.
Kim was shocked, she knew that he was taking the letter thing rather well, but this was, well, not something she was expecting. "I'd love too," Kim said absolutely glowing with the biggest smile across her face that Tommy had seen since she had been there.
"Good, then I'll move you in this weekend," Tommy stated.
*Dr. O's house, The next morning*
Tommy was sleeping when all of a sudden, there were a barrage of knocks on his front door. "Kim, when I said I would move you in, I didn't mean this early," Tommy thought to himself. He got a black sleeveless shirt and khakis on and went to the door, and to his surprise, he found Kira, Conner, and Ethan at his door instead of Kim. "Guys, why are you at my door this early in the morning?"
"Well, we have this important bet going, and we need to know... did you kiss Ms. Hart last night?" Ethan said, as Conner laughed it up.
"You woke me up for these shenanigans!" Tommy yelled and slammed the door in their faces, with all three of them breaking out in laughter. Suddenly, an alarm pierced through the air and Tommy forced the door back open. "Guys, there's an attack, and the Pink Ranger's in trouble!" The four looked at each other and knew what to do.
"DINO-THUNDER, POWER UP!" the four shouted, as they morphed into action.
*The Woods Nearby Tommy's House*
Kim was driving to Tommy's, ready to move in with all her stuff, when Zeltrax and his goons attacked her again. "Oh no, not these guys again!" Kim muttered as she found herself again surrounded by tyrannodrones.
"I think it is time that you listened to me and give me the gem!" Zeltrax hissed. As he approached, Kim stepped on the gas and nearly ran him over, as she drove her new rental car in the woods. While fleeing, the pink glow resurfaced, as she again morphed into the Pink Ranger. She then stopped the car, got out, and went to face her attackers.
"You know, you guys are really starting to bug me!" Kim shouted. The evil henchmen surprised her from behind and held her as Zeltrax appeared.
"I'm going to enjoy tearing you apart!" Zeltrax screamed, as he used his staff to inflict some major damage to her. Kim was down and nearly out. Her powers were fading, and she didn't know what to do.
"Whatever happens, I will never give up, I won't let my powers fall into your hands scumbag!" Kim screamed as she struggled to get up.
"Too bad there is nothing you can do to stop me," Zeltrax said. However, as he raised his staff to deliver the final blow, a blast sent him backwards. "What the?"
"Hey man, we may not know who she is, but she's already saved our hides once, so it's about time that we returned the favor," Conner said.
"Curse you rangers, I will get my hands on the dino gems, if it's the last thing I do!" Zeltrax screamed as he and the other Tyrannodrones escape into a portal.
"Thanks guys, you really saved me, but we need to get out of sight, I can't control my powers and I think I'm about to de-morph," The Pink Ranger said, gasping for air.
"Come on, we'll get you to a safe place," The black ranger explained, already knowing who the Pink Ranger is. The five of them ran as they escaped into the tunnels into Dr. O's lab. When they all got inside, a pink glow filled the room, and Kim demorphed.
"WHAT THE!" The three teens said, stunned at what they saw.
"Hey guys, the name is Kimberly Hart, I used to be the original Pink Ranger." The four of them lined up to demorph in front of Kim, with Kira, Conner, and Ethan still in awe that now another one of their teachers was a ranger.
"dino rangers, power down," Kira, Conner, and Ethan showed their identities as Kim realized why they had gasped.
"Oh my gosh! Conner, Ethan... Kira?" Kim asked, with a smile on her face thanking god that she at least knew them. "Wait, what about you Black Ranger?"
"Black dino ranger, power down," Tommy said, as his identity was shown. At his appearance, Kimberly was so shocked that she fainted.
"You have the affect on people, don't you Dr. O?" Conner asked.
"I guess I do when it comes to Kim."
