"MIKEY!" Leo shouted.

Mikey, who was on the couch full of comic books, jerked awake. He got up quickly and clumsily. Nearly tripping over his own two feet, he finally

got to the lab.

He gasped in surprise as he saw Leo and Raph struggling to hold down Emily. Her body was thrashing around as if she was possessed.

"Help us keep her still, nimrod!" Raph cried out, dodging Emily's leg as he was holding down her other leg.

Mikey had never seen Leo and Raph this worried in a long time. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, then nodded determinedly. He and Raph each took a

leg while Leo pinned down her arms.

"Dudes, I did NOT faint." Mikey told them.

"Not now Mikey!" Leo scolded.

"I wish I could slap you right now." Raph growled. They had to hold down Emily though, or else Donnie wouldn't be able to get a sample of the green stuff in

Emily's veins.

"Didn't you already get a sample, Donnie?" Mikey asked him, then added, "What's going on?"

"You fainted, then she hit my arm away and I dropped the syringe." Don replied absent-mindedly, then continued, "After that, you woke up."

He managed to get a sample, then he brought it over to his desk.

Emily was still trying to break dance.

"Good for you Donnie," Mikey yelled, "But what do we do about Emily?!" Just then he lost grip of Emily's leg and her foot connected with his face.

*CRACK*

"Owww!" Mikey groaned after he slammed down on the floor, "Does she lift weights with her legs or something?"

"Hahaha, I think she's my new favourite." Raph said, but then he lost grip of the leg he was holding.

*CRACK*

"Oof," Raph wheezed.

"Ooh, right in the soft spot!" Mikey was laughing, clutching his nose. He winced as he watched Raph clutch in between his legs.

Leo still had her arms, but he looked up at something behind Mikey. Mikey turned to look and saw that Sensei had entered the lab.

Master Splinter shuffled over to the table, and touched Emily somewhere on the jaw. She fell limp almost instantly, her skin now almost entirely green.

Leo straightened up, "Thank you, Sensei."

Splinter's gaze lingered on Emily's face for a few moments, then told Leo, "Come."

They left the lab together just as Don got up from his desk.

His eyes were wide with disbelief as he said, "I-I've figured out what it is."

"What is it?" Mikey got up and stepped over Raph who was tossing and turning on the floor.

"But this couldn't be possible, surely. This all doesn't make sense! The mutagen..." Don was mumbling to himself, seemingly in shock.

"Huh?" Mikey asked.

Before Don could reply, a glowing green light came from Emily. The light pulsated, and soon they could only see her silhouette. A humming sound came from

both of the darts. Suddenly Emily's body snapped up into the air, and then she was floating. The air around her seemed to crackle with electricity. It happened

so quickly and suddenly that Mikey let out a shriek of surprise. First he heard a tearing noise, then a cracking noise, as if all the bones in Emily's body had just

snapped. The outline of her body began to reshape into something not human. The glowing began to fade and she was about to fall. Mikey reached forward

to catch her before she could hit the table. *Click* The darts unlatched themselves from her body and they fell to the floor with a plink sound.

He nearly fainted again.

As the light was still fading, he laid her on the table and stammered, "E-Emily, i-is..."

There, lying on the table, sprinkled with the tatters of her old clothing, was a bright green turtle.

Mikey finally noticed Raph standing next to him. "What the shell...?" Was all he had to say.
