Kankri POV

Once you eat something and wake up a bit more, your eyes widen when you remember that you were supposed to meet with Porrim today. You curse under your breath and rush to get ready, leaving Cronus and Kurloz behind in the nutrition block. You hurry and change into one of your sweaters and run a brush through your hair.

"Ya got somewhere ya need to be, Kan?" Cronus asks.

"Yes, Porrim and I had arranged to meet today and I just now remembered." You reply hurriedly. You study your reflection in the mirror and decide that your appearance is as decent as it will get.

"Oh, well I'll go get ready and-"

"No"

"What?"

"You are not coming with me. Neither is Kurloz."

"But-"

"No buts. If you both come with me then Porrim will suspect something. You can do what you want while I'm gone but do not come with me." You say sternly and head for the door. You start towards Porrim's hive, thankful that neither Cronus nor Kurloz followed after you. Although visits with Porrim were usually calm and enjoyable, you felt a little uneasy about this one. She is like a maternal figure to you and can almost always tell if something is wrong. Hopefully she won't be too observant of your appearance today and won't have to worry.

Kurloz POV

After Kankri had left, you decided to look around his hive more. Little motherfucker had a shit ton of books that you would have to read later. Besides the few pieces of furniture placed here and there, his hive was pretty empty.

Heading back into the main room, you notice that Kankri left his husktop on the table. You pick it up and settle on the couch, he wouldn't mind if you used it would he? Probably not. Once you turn it on, you immediately see that his husktop is filled with "lectures" of his. Damn, he wrote a lot. Avoiding those, you log onto pesterchum.

[CG] began trolling [AC]

CG: What's up my wicked kitty6itch?

AC: uhhh, kankri?

CG: N9 it's Kurl9z. I'm just all up and 69rr9wing Kankri's huskt9p.

AC: oh, okay! why are mew at kancritter's hive?

CG: I can't really say, 6ut I'm helping a m9therfucker 9ut.

AC: okay! :3 well I-

You yank your hands away from the keyboard as the husktop snaps shut. Cronus is standing over you with an irritated look on his face.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

'I was just talking to Meulin' You sign.

"I don't do sign language, Chief." He smirks and takes the husktop, setting it down. Messiahs, he was annoying. Now was probably a good time to mess with him. You smile and use just a little of your chucklevoodoos to speak.

"Chill, motherfucker. I was just talking to Meulin." He looks shocked when he hears you, but recovers quickly. "Don't act stupid."

"You shouldn't just go on his husktop without fuckin' askin', you creep."

"If dislike me so much then the door's right there. Not like you're needed here."

"Listen to me now, because I'm not gonna repeat this." He snarled at you. "I'm definitely not goin' anywhere so you can put that thought out of your fucking head. I'm here to help Kankri and that's exactly what I plan on doing. When he doesn't want me here anymore then I'll leave, but until then, I'll be right here to help. I don't need a damn creep like you to tell me what to do."

Before you can reply, he leaves and you wonder if what you said got to him. Or if maybe you had freaked him out. He's definitely going to be harder to get rid of. Oh well, It's nothing you can't deal with. You can almost bet that Cronus will make a fool of himself anyways in front of Kankri, so you go and check out some of the books you saw earlier.

Cronus POV

After that whole event, you left Kankri's hive. You could not stand to be in the same room as that creep right now, so you head back to your hive for a while. The first thing you do is sit down and think about what just happened. Of course you knew Kurloz was creepy, but you didn't know he could talk using…well, however the hell he did, but it unnerved you.

You look up at the ceiling, starring at no particular spot. No one would fucking believe the troll with the sewn up mouth talked to you. You're worried about what else Kurloz could do, and worried for Kankri. You're also worried that you can't do anything. It really fucking sucks to not know what to do.

You sigh and stand. Thinking like this isn't gonna help anyone and you know that. Instead you busy yourself with getting a few things together to take back to Kankri's hive. You want to get back soon, before he comes back from Porrim's. You don't want him left alone with Kurloz.
