Chapter 4
Fox stumbled out of bed and started looking for his discarded body suit, trying to get it on before Leana opened her eyes. Leana had rolled on her other side and was rolling her eyes at Fox, he was seriously nervous with her being here, and she felt bad. She wondered why she wasn't as nervous, and then she remembered that she never had the pleasure of having her own bed, she never had any kind of privacy, fact, she was surprised that her breast even grew considering the endless days she had, had them pushed down, and constricting to give her the appearance of a young child, and under developed girl who wasn't all that appealing to men. There were many kinds of men she had been forced to share beds with, her master was a cheap slug who wasn't supposed to have slaves while on the core worlds, and for some ungodly reason got away with it, but none of the men compared to Fox, his flawless tanned skin pulled over finely toned muscles, she hadn't even had time to think more of Fox, for her eyes had Met his, and he glared at her.
"Hey sleepy head," she managed a weak smile, but that was taken away by the angry brown eyes that stared at her.
"What…the hell….are you doing…here?" he demanded darkly pointing a finger at her.
She blinked then sat up, she wanted to yell at him, but, she knew she would be wrong if she did, that fact was that she was an uninvited guest, who happened to have snuck into the GAR barracks and into a commander's private room.
"I'm sorry…i…I just have nowhere else to go, and the best place to hide is someplace that no one would think that you'll be," she whispered.
Fox wanted to call his brothers to take her away, he was thinking about how the hell she wasn't seen by the guards, how she managed to get passed the lock and into his room, and through all that, all he really wanted was some sleep.
"You have leave after today, you know that?" she asked, pulling Fox out of his thoughts.
"yeah, it's always the same time, how…how did you get in here?" he asked running his hand up and down the side of his face, then through his military cut black hair.
"The same way you did, through the front door," she replied a bit clueless to the danger she had put him through. "Look I'll be gone in a week, I just need to, uh, earn enough credits to get a ship, that's all." She shrugged.
"I can be thrown in jail for this you know?" he walked close to her, anger deep in his eyes, and in the tone of his voice.
"Yeah if you're caught, but lucky for you, I'm never caught."
"I caught you," he argued.
"No, you took me in, there is a difference," she puffed. She got out of the bed and ran behind him, pushing him towards the bed, "go, you need sleep," she said.
"What are you my mother?" he asked jokingly the lack of sleep finally getting to his head.
"Might as well be, I think I'm old enough to be," she laughed, then stopped pushing, and shook her head. "But i don't want to think about it," she muttered.
"Well, don't expect me to call you mom," he snickered.
Leana rolled her eyes, "please, I'm too young to be a mom especially yours," she smiled; she continued pushing him, until he sat on the bed.
"Are you leaving in the morning?" Fox asked, a part of him hoped so, or sooner, and anther hoped that she would stay, conflicting to say the least.
"Maybe, I have work to do, but, just maybe," she smiled and pushed him down on to the bed and pulled the blanket over him. "Thanks Commander, I owe you my life," she said after he had fallen asleep. She stayed seated on the side of his bed, and a sudden evil smile spread on her face, she moved as gently off the bed and skipped to the door, looking back only once. She shook her head, and then left the room, weaving her way through the facility trying not to be seen, and she happened to have the best luck so far, in a way she sort of thanked Ziro for breaking out, she strolled down to a club, it was highlighted in purple and yellow neon rope lights, and said something, that she didn't feel like reading, she just walked in.
"You shouldn't be here Karma," the bartender said as she wiped the counter with a damp cloth.
"I came to collect a few things, I'm not coming back here ever, I don't think there is anything that's going to keep me on Coruscant."
The woman smiled softly to her, "hey you better keep in touch."
Leana smiled, and held out her pinky. "I pinky promise, besides you still need to give me that birthday drink you promised," she winked.
The two girls laughed then the bar tender gave her a small key, and her smile faded, she was going to miss her friend.
"Lisa, I'm going to miss you," Leana smiled giving her hand a little pat, but her smile was a sad one, she was going to miss this place, even if she hated the slug that made it. She would miss the friends she made here. "Take care."
"You have a place to stay for the night?" Lisa asked.
That question made Leana smile widely and also blush, "I think I do," she giggled, shoving the key between her taped down breasts, and running out of the club.
She ran past a few venders, and stole a few food items when they weren't paying any attention, and she snuck back to Fox's room, hitting in the pin number, she couldn't believe that she remembered it on the second go, normally she would forget. As the door slid open she looked both ways then slipped in. there was no security cameras, no guards, she was oddly surprised about it, but her thoughts on the lack of security for the troopers were torn away as the dark room she entered was filled with the soft snoring of Fox in his deep sleep. Leana reached for the controls to the lights, and turned them on, but only slightly, so that the bright lights didn't wake him. She sat down at the small desk and laid out her treats, mostly chocolate, and sweets, she really loved sweets, though pure sugar was to be avoided, no one needed to see her hyper. The very thought of it made her shiver.
"I wish you were awake," she sighed looking over at Fox; she turned her head to the stash of sweets and rested her head in front of them, on top of her arms. She wanted to eat them, but she had enough manners to let Fox have first dibs, so she closed her eyes, and in a matter of minutes she fell asleep. Not to be woken up until mid-morning, when she was poked by a strangely soft finger, and then shoved a bit.
"Hey, wake up, you need to leave before anyone comes over," he hissed an annoyed voice, as he pushed her again.
"Mm?" Leana opened one green eye after the other and smiled. "Morning," she sang then flopped back down.
Fox rolled his eyes running his hand through his hair in frustration.
