Hey guys I'm sorry about not posting anything for a very VERY long time! I will be trying to post regularly again! Please review after the chapter is over! :)
Kaito stands up just looking at Luchia. They stare at each other, neither one knowing what to say. For the first time in their friendship they were at a loss of words when it came to what to say to the other.
"D-Di-Did you have anything t-to do w-with this-s?"
"No! Nagisa just said that I was going to meet a really hot girl from school… I didn't know he meant you… what happened to you?" (Referring to her "new look") "I've known you forever and the last time you had this much makeup on we were playing King & Queen at the park in like 2nd grade…"
"I got ready at Hanons…"
Kaito's face changed from befuddlement to an 'of course' look,
"I borrowed her dress, and shoes, and well everything." Luchia continued.
"I like it on other girls…"
Kaito began to say before he saw that Luchia's confidence was shot down by that comment.
"Ah-I mean..!-" Kaito began to try and explain his comment.
"Kaito..." Luchia cut him off, "I'm sorry I wasted your time. Hanon and Nagisa thought this would be a funny joke I guess but it's not. I'll call a cab and go home and save the embarrassment of watching you leave first."
Luchia begins to walk away when she hears Kaito call out to her. When she turns around with tears in her eyes she sees him pulling out her chair and inviting her to sit with him. She is stunned. Being Kaito's wing-girl on many dates, she knows that he only pulls his dates chair out when he really likes her.
Luchia walks back over to the table and sits down. She has her hands clasped together in her lap and she is looking down at the menu in front of her. Her heart is racing, face is flushing, and she doesn't believe that she is actually on an actual date with Kaito. She hopes in her head that Kaito doesn't see her face and can't hear her heart beat from across the table.
"Hello and welcome to Un amore fin dall'inizio. I'm Noel as you know. Can I take your order Luchia?"
Noel grew up next door to Luchia her whole life. Noel was always traveling with her father during a lot of their childhood so their friendship now was mostly over text and hanging out during girls' night with all the girls in the group.
"Noel!" Luchia is glad that her friend is taking their order, puts her mind at ease, "yeah I'll try the angel hair and tomato basil"
"OK. And for you, Kaito?"
"Spaghetti, please." Kaito said very quick and nervously.
"Your order will be out shortly!" Noel said as she was about to walk away.
"Noel," Luchia said "can I get a glass of water as well?"
"Make it 2." Said Kaito.
"Of course!" Noel winks at Luchia and then walks away.
On the other side of the restraunt Rina, CoCo, Karen, Sara, and her little sister Siera were all watching Kaito and Luchia. All of them know about Luchia liking Kaito and Kaito liking Luchia but they never thought that when they finally went out on a date that they would be silent like this.
"Maybe this was a mistake…" Karen said sadly.
"NO WAY!" Exclaimed CoCo and Sara. "This needed to happen desperately. We were all getting sick of watching this and thinking why the hell they couldn't figure out that they like each other." Sara continued.
Seira didn't know what was going on. She was only there because Sara was babysitting she was not going to miss this for the world.
*NOW WE TAKE A TRIP TO KAITOS INNER THOUGHTS*
"Dude Nagisa hooked you up, you're here on a date with her and she got all dressed up for you… just tell her you like her all ready. You have liked her for years' dude, YEARS! You've always wanted to tell her now just buck up the courage, and do it!"
*BACK TO LUCHIA AND KAITO*
Noel brings their food to the table.
"Enjoy!" She says and then winks at Luchia.
Luchia shrinks in her chair and starts to eat. They haven't really talked since they sat down. She is blushing and her heart is pounding. She wants to tell Kaito that she loves him, she wants to tell him so bad. It's eating at her, her inner voice is going crazy,
"Tell him Luchia!"
"No don't what if he doesn't like you back?"
"Well it's a risk I'm willing to take"
Luchia took a few deep breaths and closed her eyes.
"Kait-"
"Luchia, before you say anything I have to tell you something…" Kaito says with a shaky voice.
Luchia is startled. Kaito has never cut her off before like that.
"Luchia… We have been friends, best friends since forever. Ever since I have met you I thought you were beautiful. You're the only person who has ever made me smile when I was so angry that I wanted to punch threw a brick wall. Luchia I'm… so great full for you."
"Kaito why are you acting so weird?" Luchia asked.
"I don't know. I guess being on this date with you and seeing you all dressed up like that makes me question how I got such an amazing person in my life when I clearly don't deserve you. You are so kind and have such a gentle touch to everything… you are just amazing."
Luchia was astonished. Kaito has never shown her any appreciation towards her or even told her thank you for the things she does for him, not that she expected one, she did them because she is just that kind of a person.
"Luchia do you wanna go watch a movie or play video games at my house? This scene isn't for us don't you think?" Kaito asked.
"Yes I would like to do that, but I don't have anything else but this to wear. I'll have Hannon come pick me up so I can change into something more comfortable."
"You could wear my clothes at my house…" Kaito says scratching the back of his head, looking down trying to hide the fact that he is blushing.
Luchia's face turns bright red. Just the thought of wearing Kaito's clothes like a girl would do when she has a boyfriend and she was his girlfriend. She grips the end of her dress and hides her face as well.
"If you're sure that that's ok with you I can wear your clothes…" Luchia responded.
Hannon: WHAT YOU'RE NOT GUNNA TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ALL THAT? AFTER EVERYTHING I WENT THREW TO GET THEM TOGETHER ON A DATE YOU LEAVE OFF THERE?!
Me: Hannon just give the outro...
