Hello my munchkins! PondGirl11 here, since the author of this fabulous chapter didn't do an intro grr -_- first up, a mahoosive apology! It's been a year today since the last update, which is shocking O.O I'm so very sorry The truth is, the Marshmellow Queen has tried to write this all year, but we have been so unbelievably busy with school and exams that even though she started writing it soon after the last chapter was posted, it's taken her all year! We noticed a month or so ago that the last chapter was posted on 23rd November, which as you know it's Doctor Who's anniversary. So we thought it would be quite cool if this chapter was posted exactly a year after the previous one, and on the 50th anniversary! So, hope it delivers, and Happy Whoniversary to you all!

Sherlock was bored. When Sherlock gets bored things normally get a little bit out of hand. Back at home in 221b, when Sherlock got bored it wouldn't last too long because someone would come up with something interesting for him to do. Sometimes it would be Lestrade with a case he couldn't solve, or maybe his elder brother Mycroft would ask for help with his government issues. However here, in Hogwarts every mystery can be solved by magic or detention, Mycroft can't ask for help from him because Mycroft, for once in his life had completely no idea of Sherlock's whereabouts. Sherlock would ask to return home, but John was so happy here every day is an adventure for him, exploring the castle, stalking his favourite characters, what more could he want? Anyway, the only way home was in that infernal blue box, which Sherlock really could not get his head around. The only way home is in the box, the only way in the box is the Doctor, so therefore the only way home is to talk to the Doctor. With that settled in his mind Sherlock set off across the large stone castle in search of the Doctors classroom.

Sherlock only got half way down the corridor from his bedroom when he heard whispering, sniggering and the distinct noises of shushing after each noise. In addition to these noises he almost certain he heard the faint cry of, "Padfoot get off my foot!" Followed by, "It's not my fault your feet are so big!" which was followed again by a third voice, "Shut up! He'll hear us!"

Sherlock paused for a moment in his strides and frowned, "Boys stop following me, I'm busy!"

Behind him James, Sirius, Remus and Peter pulled the invisibility cloak off themselves and started walking along beside Sherlock.

"So, where are you going?" Remus asked, looking at Sherlock out of the corner of his eye.

"I'm trying to find the Doctors classroom." He admitted stiffly, not very comfortable with admitting he didn't know where he was going to strangers.

"You seriously don't know your way around Hogwarts yet?" Sirius exclaimed staring at the consulting detective.

"Yeah, I swear you know all the streets of London by heart!" James added.

Sherlock stiffened and turned to the four boys, "How do you know that?" He asked staring at them all in turn, suspiciously.

Surprisingly it was the smallest boy, Peter who answered, "Your friend John told us, he talks about you a lot."

"He does, does he?" Sherlock asked concealing a smile, "What does he say?"

Sirius and James started sniggering behind their hands, "Oh many things, many things. He seems to like you quite a lot."

Sherlock seemed to visibly puff out his chest at the comment, before stopping self consciously when Remus smirked at him.

"So anyway," James interjected, "Do you want us to show to the Doctor's office?"

Sherlock nodded stiffly and sighed, "If you must."

A few corridors later they came to a halt outside the office door, without looking behind him Sherlock walked in, leaving the four boys in the corridor.

The Doctor looked up from his desk and his face practically lit up at the sight of his visitor.

"Sherlock! How are you? I haven't seen you in so long! What have you been doing since we arrived?"

Sherlock shifted uncomfortably as the Doctor jumped around like an exited puppy.

"I have come to ask for your assistance." Sherlock stated.

The Doctor nodded him to continue.

"I want to go home."

The Doctor's face fell. "Already? But it's so nice here with these wizard people."

Behind Sherlock the Marauders having heard what he said, had started whinging to each other.

"They can't go yet!"

"Yeah, they only just got here!"

"What about John? Is he leaving too?"

"And the Doctor he can't leave half way through the year! He's a teacher!"

Having come to an agreement the four boys turned back to the older men.

"You're not going yet." The four boys spoke as one.

The Doctor grinned, "Exactly, you haven't seen barely anything yet! You've been in your room for most of the time. Live a little!"

Sherlock did not look particularly impressed by this. "I have seen all I need to see. An old castle with magic, not the most original thing I've ever heard of."

"But what about John?" Remus slyly added.

"What about John?" Sherlock asked impatiently.

"Are you just going to leave him?"

"No of course not."

"Are you taking him with you?"

"That would hardly be fair."

"So if you leave what will John do?"

"Oh..." muttered Sherlock quietly.

"Well that's settled then!" The Doctor cried clapping his hands in delight, "You'll stay here!"

Sherlock huffed to himself and walked out of the room to find something to cure his boredom.

In a room many miles away two men sat plotting.

"So if I take you to Sherlock Holmes, you'll do what exactly for me?" the Master smirked.

"Oh I'm sure I could think of a few things." The Consulting Criminal smirked right back.

We look forward to seeing you next time! Just a warning – it will probably be another long wait, it's our GCSE year and I am so weighed down with revision. I will do my utmost, and next summer I have a 10 week holiday and no work so hopefully lots will be posted then! :D
