In the six months leading up to the Winter Solstice, Athanasia lived with Apollo on Olympus. They had dates in the mortal world and generally had a lot of fun, and Athanasia learned a lot both about herself and about Apollo. As her divinity settled back in, Athanasia found herself wearing mostly blacks, grays and whites with gold and emerald green accenting everything, usually in the form of jewelry. The only constant was a plain warm gold band on her left ring finger, symbolizing her marriage to Apollo and his prominent domains. Her husband on the other hand, usually wore bright yellows, oranges, and gold, usually offset with light blue or white. His clothes were bright and screamed NOTICE ME, just like his personality. On his left ring finger was a solid black band with white edges and would shine gold, depending on how the light hit it, symbolizing his marriage to Athanasia, and her more prominent domains. Of course, jeans somehow found their way into both their wardrobes, and they both found themselves wearing each other's symbols along with their own.
In the six months before the meeting the only god that found out about them was Hermes, and even then he didn't mean to. He was just dropping off a delivery and walked in on them as they were starting to go at it.
He flashed into Apollo's living room, which they had decided to christen not five minutes before, and found them shirtless, and Athanasia's legs wrapped around Apollo's waist. The flash of light making Athanasia lean to look in between Apollo's shoulder and head, and Apollo his tuning to head to look over his other shoulder. Seeing that it was just Hermes, he returned to the more important task of kissing his wife's neck. Athanasia however, was not pleased with the situation. She flipped him off and told him he was interrupting and to fuck off.
Hermes was far too stunned by the whole situation so he ended up sputtering the first thing that came to mind, and Athanasia's wedding band being the shiniest thing in view, was at the forefront of his mind.
"But she's married?!"
Apollo, being the hot-blooded male that he was and did the one thing his lust clouded mind could think of to ensure that they weren't interrupted again. He held up his left hand, black and white ring clearly in sight and growled, "She's mine." And took his wife to the bedroom.
When they returned an hour and a half later, they found Hermes sitting on their couch and staring at his hands, looking like he was having a mental break down.
The only other one who might have known beforehand was Hera, and that was only because of one of her domains being marriage. In fact, she knew one of the gods or goddesses had gotten married, and when, just not which ones and it was infuriating her.
Suddenly, all too soon for Apollo's comfort, much to Athanasia's amusement, the Winter Solstice arrived.
The one thing that Athanasia wasn't prepared for was the demigods. They had been invited for that years Solstice meeting, and a tour of Olympus. She was not ready to meet Apollo's kids. At. All.
The meeting was pretty much the same as usual, Poseidon and Athena arguing, Hephaestus glowering at Ares as he flirted with Aphrodite, Hermes spent most of it on his phone, managing deliveries, the only difference from usual was that Artemis and Apollo were not arguing.
Hera was using the meeting to try and figure out who had gotten married. She could ignore most of the room, and focus on those who were acting differently. She focused on Artemis and Apollo, the only time they didn't argue was when one of them was going to or was supporting the other in some way. She narrowed her eyes and went to ask them what had them acting so differently when her husband spoke up.
"Does anyone else have anything else to add before we end this meeting of the Winter Solstice?"
Apollo raised his hand and spoke. "Yes father, I have someone to introduce and something to announce." Apollo stepped off of his throne and walked into the crowd of minor goods and brought a woman out with him. "Gods and goddesses of Olympus" Apollo started, Hera looked to their hands and saw their rings, Apollo was the one who- "may I present-"
Apollo was cut of by a flash of light as the three Fares appeared in the throne room and spoke together. "Gods and goddesses of Olympus, we give you Athanasia Morana, goddess of Life, Death, Rebirth and Immortality, Wife of Phoebus Apollo, and the thirteenth Olympian."
