Sorry I took so long to post. I asked for 5 reviews on another of my stories and it took several months to get 4. Turns out, only 4 people read that story. I got really depressed and my muse ran away. But my muse is back for a visit and hopefully I can get some writing done.

PERCY POV

"Remember class," my English teacher called as we packed up, "the Sadie Hawkins dance is three weeks from now! Be sure you have a date!" "I feel so vulnerable." I told Lucy as we walked to lunch, "any girl could ask me to the dance at any moment." "People wanna ask you to the dance? When did this happen?" Lucy joked. "Oh ha ha." I said as we sat down at a table by ourselves.

ANNABETH POV

I glared at Lucy from across the lunch room. How dare she! I was plotting my revenge when Malcolm, who had transferred to Goode, waved a hand in front of my face. "Stop glaring at people. You're foods getting cold." I turned my glare on him and he put his hands up in surrender. "Sorry for speaking, but if you want my opinion, you're going about this all wrong." My anger flared. "What does that mean?" I snapped. "Well," Malcolm said calmly, "You should try to get back on Percy's good side instead of trying to wipe Lucy from the face of the earth." I wanted to argue but I knew he was right. We sat in silence for a minute. "Got any plans on how I should do that?" I asked finally. Malcolm gave a grin that could give the Stolls a run for their money. "Of course. All I need is the right moment."

LUCY POV

I smiled widely as I walked down the street with Percy. Percy, my best friend and secret crush, had offered to walk me home. He had even insisted on carrying my books! We walked in a comfortable silence until we got home. Percy looked slightly sad when we got to my house. He looked at me nervously and said "Hey, uh, This was fun. Can I, uh, walk you home tomorrow." He looked so cute when he was nervous, I couldn't help myself. I wrapped my arms around his neck and I kissed him full force. He hesitated for a second before returning the kiss. The kiss lasted until we ran out of air and we parted. "I love you." Percy whispered breathlessly, "Will you be my girlfriend?" My stomach flipped and I struggled not to squeal in delight. "Yes of course! Will you go to the dance with me?" I asked. "I would love too." He answered happily. I smiled. "Just don't tell my mom or she would freak out. And," I paused, "this was fun. I would love for you to walk me home tomorrow." I gave him a peck on the lips and walked in the front door. I threw my bag onto the couch and started walking upstairs. I was in my room reading when my mom peaked in. "Lucy, I've got a primordial god meeting next week so I'll probably leave the house before you wake up and I'll get home very late. Do you think you can manage?" I grinned. "Of course mom. Now I get to practice my cooking skills." My mom chuckled and walked out of the room.

(time skip: 1 week)

I smiled as I walked down the hall to my next class. This had been the best week of my life. I had spent every spare moment talking/kissing my new boyfriend. I didn't want my mom to incinerate Percy so we had to keep it secret. Both of us were ecstatic about the dance. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I was unprepared for when someone grabbed me and dragged me into a deserted classroom. I turned and saw Mark. I was about to kick him between the legs when he spoke and a dreamy feeling washed over me. "You don't love Percy. You love me. You will break up with Percy and tell him you never loved him. You will tell him you don't want to go to the dance with him and that you are going with someone you love. You will take me to the dance." As he said this, I suddenly got the urge to do everything he had told me to do. Mark is my boyfriend now.

MARK POV

Another person falls to my charmspeak. I just need use it on Percy's friends from camp, his mom, and Poseidon. Soon, Percy will be all alone.
