As I exited the town, I looked around hoping no one would see, then I tried to call in my Jump Ship, Jump Ship appeared above me so I transmitted into my ship and activated my stealth drive.
"All right, the path to Shieldfreeden is this way," said Xeno showing me a path to Shieldfreeden.
"So If we take this path, it can lead up to Naofumi and his party." I said,
"well let's hope if we can find them." Said Xeno.
We started to move and follow the path. As I was flying the Jump Ship, Xeno was scanning the surrounding area for any human heat signatures.
"Joseph, I detect a couple of heat signatures below," Xeno said,
"Ok, We'll land on that mountain to take a look.
As I landed on the mountain, I materialized my faithful Queenbreakers Bow and scoped into what appears to be a man riding a wagon having a big fat bird moving the wagon, the man had something on his arm,
"a shield? Hmm.. that must be him…" I said. I headed back to my ship taking me to the road that they are taking and had me transmat on the roads to intercept them.
As they detected me they stopped, Naofumi stepped out, a young demihuman lady that looked like a tanuki (raccoon) stepped out as well, with the addition of a fancy looking purpled haired little girl same clothing like in that royal palace.
"I've heard stories about you, Naofumi." I said out loud "They said that you rapped the princess Malty, enslaved two girls, even kidnapped the second princess." I said,
"yeah, but those are not true." Naofumi said,
"really? They have a nice price for your, appearance" I said bringing up a paper of the price for his head.
Naofumi was getting ready to fight,
I chuckled, then burned the paper with my solar powers having the ashes go to the floor and kicking it away, they looked shocked "I don't need the money nor fame. And I know that all the shit that was told to me was utter bullshit." I said.
"Why should we trust you?" Naofumi asked,
"Well, that's up to you if you do or not." I answered, "I'll accompany you with your travels whether you like it or not, I'm bored anyway." I said walking towards the wagon
"H-hey!" said Naofumi "Why do you want to help us?" he said,
"Well it's my duty to do so," I said as I smiled,
"Duty? As a knight?" asked the princess,
"No. I am a human from another world." I said,
"how?" asked Naofumi,
"I transported here after reading the pages of the cardinal heroes. And you are the Shield Hero. Say what are your guys' names?" I asked pointing at the two girls,
"I am Melty Q Melromarc, the second daughter and princess of King Aultcray," said the purple-haired princess,
"So then your sisters with Malty? You are way different than your sister." I said smiling,
"I am Raphtalia." said the tanuki demihuman,
"and I'm Filo nice to meet you!" said the bird that then turned into a little girl with wings,
"I never knew they can do that…" said Xeno in my head,
"Jealous?" I asked Xeno,
"No, It's better if I stay in your backpack," Xeno replied.
"I am Joseph, Joseph Anderson. And I am a guardian." I said,
"what's a Guardian?" Asked Melty,
"Guardians are resurrected to protect humanity in my world. The earth in my world is in the brink of extinction by what they call the Darkness. They destroyed everything and when Earth was almost consumed by monsters the Traveler or the reason why the monsters appeared sacrificed itself to form Ghosts." I Materialized Xeno,
"Hi, I'm Xeno, I am his Ghost," Xeno said,
"So little!" Said, Filo
"I'm not little!" said Xeno,
I laughed, then dissipate my Ghost. "The Ghosts find those who are worthy and resurrect them to fight off the Darkness," I said,
"If you are meant to protect your world, why are you here?" asked Naofumi,
Well, the activity going on there is steady right now so, I can travel to other dimensions to take a cool down. I like traveling and, after the stories I keep hearing about you, I wanted to join you so I can help you fight off the waves because it is like my world." I said sitting down in the wagon.
The original plan was to update the chapter's weekly. But its summer, and I have ten more days until being a Summer Fun Junior Leader, so fudge it! I'm going to use this time to post more chapters and it may seem that I am rushing, I am and I am not, confusing I know.
