Sadness.


What was sad, she wonders, about a world where no one remembered you?

She had nothing to do now; not even the tiniest molecule of air would pay attention to her; the molecules disappear in one side of her body, and come out the other.

Looking solemnly down at the rest of the world, she realizes.

Nothing was sad.

It was just that she was too happy before this.

The thought quiets her down, into silence.
