Chapter 4: New Information
I'm so sorry. I was graduating this year, so I had a lot to do last month such as exit projects, graduation, and prom. But, now that it is summer vacation, I can work on the story.
My birthday was earlier last month. June 6th.
And I just graduated as one of the top five best students in my entire school with a 91 average!
And, I had gotten my hands jammed into a door at school a few weeks ago, so no typing, writing, reading, homwork, eating a sandwich, playing videogames, participating in gym class. I was living the dream.

Spike the Dragon's P.O.V:

Dear Spike,
You have no idea how nice it is to hear from you again. You're becoming such a big boy. Ahem… Now I sound like Twilight Velvet, don't I? Well, anyways, I received your letter about Twilight's mysterious whereabouts and the condition of the library. Come to Canterlot immediately so that we may discuss this matter. I will send Twilight a letter to come this way as well from wherever she is.

That letter was received yesterday. I also got on the train this morning and I still haven't seen Twilight. Train service has been extremely slow ever since word got out about the robot invasions; if you can even call it that. There are like two or three of these robots every MILE. I've read enough Power Ponies comic books to know what a robot invasion looks like. And, not even that, but those things are about as strong as a plastic bag. I witnessed Diamond Tiara destroy one accidentally by throwing a pebble at it.
The Princess had called for me. It was my duty to head to Canterlot as soon as possible. But, with everypony in a panic, it's been difficult to head to a corner store. But at least I'm in Canterlot now. So, I should be pretty safe. I'm not even sure if Twilight has or hasn't even returned to Ponyville. I should send her a letter.
Doctor Eggman's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Adventure DX: Chao Garden)
Someone. Anyone. Just kill me now. I've been sitting here for almost an hour listening to these ponies question me.
"Why did you attack Equestria?" The purple horse asked. I think her name was Tight Wad or something like that.
"What's your name, Eggman?" The pink one asked stupidly. She was… Ink Dye.
"Why is your name Eggman? Who names their kid Eggman?" The white one asked. I don't even know this one.
"Again, why did you attack Equestria?" The purple horse asked again. Don't blame me for forgetting their names! It's been well over two months since I had last seen these bipeds.
"SHUT UP!" I screamed.
Tails turned his head around, and gave me the evil eye. I'm the one who's evil! "Don't make me do it, Eggman," He said, pointing below the plane. He has been threatening me that he would do a barrel roll and drop me. I know Tails won't do it, but Sonic can. He'll make sure that Tails catches me, sure. But I still don't want to fall.
"Okay, we can drop Octavia and Vinyl off in Ponyville, and then we can-" Tails listed, before he was interrupted by a loud belch. And, believe it or not, it wasn't from me.
"BURP! Sorry about that, Tails. I don't usually burp letters; must've been a magical flux." Tight Wad apologized as she held a piece of paper in her hands. I didn't know that she could burp paper.
"Don't just apologize to Tails; apologize to me! I'm the one standing next to you!" Sonic whined as he waved his hand in front of his nose.
After speed reading the paper, the horse teleported from the wing of the plane that Sonic was standing on with a purple sparkling megaphone to the one with the pink pony in need of medical attention on her brain. "All right. Change of plans. We have to go to Canterlot THIS INSTANT. Princess Celestia and Spike are already there. Sorry Vinyl. Sorry Octavia."
"Me and Tavi…" 'Vinyl' had started before she was interrupted by Octavia.
"Octavia and I,"
"Whatever… Octavia and I have to go to Canterlot anyways. Gotta go and do a thing."
"No. You just don't want to do the dishes at home, in Ponyville."
Twilight Sparkle's P.O.V:
We finally did it. We have landed in Canterlot. But something seems a bit off about it. It seems distant. But, that can't be right… It's early June, the time of spring. Most Canterlot ponies are at least preparing the entire capital for the Summer Sun Celebration that's starting in two weeks, on June 23rd; the Summer Solstice. Whatever. As long as we don't come across any trouble, we'll be perfectly fine. But, knowing our luck, that's not going to happen. Now, if you'll excuse me, I better go find everyone. And by everyone, I mean Rainbow Dash, Sonic, and Pinkie Pie. Wait, where's Rarity?! Why must we always split up?
Sonic the Hedgehog's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Adventure DX: Welcome to Station Square)
There's something about cities that I just love. I don't know if it's the size, or the different routes I can take to explore. Too bad this isn't like Empire City or Station Square. I kinda enjoyed the subway. Anyway this city just reminds me of those times in Aladdin and the Magic Lamp and the Story of King Arthur. More specifically, this place reminds me of Camelot and Erazor Djinn's palace. But, then again, this place is titled 'Canterlot' and it is a castle. For some reason, Rarity was running off to who knows where with a sack load of Equestrian currency called bits with Rainbow Dash angrily following behind. That meant that I was stuck with Pinkie Pie. Oh boy.
3rd Person P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Unleashed: Spagonia Night Version)
Sonic and Pinkie began to wander into Canterlot, leaving behind the rest of their friends. Inside of the city, lights took over. That made sense. According to Sonic's watch, it was nearing five o' clock. That was a long plane ride. Almost three hours. As Sonic and Pinkie's eyes adjusted, they could get a better view of the city. Despite its size, it seemed pretty distant and empty. No one was really walking around. Five bucks says that the look of Sonic scared them.
"If this is supposed to be the capital, then how come no one is around? I've been around multiple worlds, and their capitals seemed more crowded than this," Sonic said, placing his arms behind his head. Both Sonic and Pinkie began to look around. As Sonic walked, more curtains of buildings began to shut tight. "Five bucks says that they're scared of me." Sonic sighed.
"Who could be scared of you Sonic? It's not like you're a werewolf or anything. You aren't covered in any more fur than anypony else around us, you don't have enormous teeth, you have such a nice voice, and you don't eat ponies (*1). And besides this is Canterlot. Everypony here is stuck up. It would literally take a speech from Princess Celestia to make them even the smallest bit less scared of you." Pinkie said with a smile. Sonic's frown grew a bit, but only slightly.
"I guess you're right," Sonic said melancholically. "Come on, we've got a while before anyone finds us. Let's have some fun!" Sonic said, his mood swinging back to joyous.
"YEAH!" Pinkie screeched in sheer joy before she and Sonic rocketed away towards the center of the city in a flash of blue and pink (with little balloons).
Rarity's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Sky Sanctuary)
Ah, Canterlot: the grandest city of all of the cities of Equestria. With hundreds of stores, thousands of stallions, and my superb reputation, I should be having a joyride. And I am, of course. I always bring an emergency bag of fifty bits or so. That was in case we ever stop in Canterlot or Manehatten or the Crystal Empire, I can buy access... I mean essentials. Then, I remember that we are here on saving-the-world business, and I begin to retrace my steps back to Twilight. Then, I see another store, and I completely forget about what I was doing.
"RARITY!" A familiar, loud, fast, and slightly annoying Pegasus shouted towards me from in the air.
"Hello, Rainbow Dash. How may I be of assistance?"
"I'm the one who should be asking the questions here. Why'd you run off? And please don't tell me it was to buy clothes."
She caught me. I needed to think of something. And fast. Like Sonic fast (*2). "I was um… curious about why there are barely any ponies in the Canterlot streets?" I said, unsure if Rainbow Dash would catch on to the lie.
Rainbow Dash took a look around. I also looked around, and still saw nopony. "Yeah. That sounds legit. This doesn't feel right," Looks like she didn't. "Come on, Rarity. We need to find Sonic and Pinkie so that we can regroup."
Twilight Sparkle's P.O.V:
"Come guys. While they goof off, we can speak with the Princess. She asked about the robot and monster invasions that are all over the news. " I ordered.
Tails nodded his head in agreement. Tails, Fluttershy, and I (while struggling to hold up Eggman and Applejack) began to fly towards the castle.
3rd Person P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Generations: Speed Highway Classic remix)
Sonic and Pinkie raced through the somewhat empty streets of Canterlot, using their parkour skills to run through the city just below the speed of sound, whilst destroying any robots in the stealthiest way possible. Sonic ran above the buildings, along the rooftops. Pinkie, on the other hand, ran down the streets below, flipping between walls and signs.
Sonic noticed how he was running out of building. He was almost at the last building of the block. He smirked and sped up. He was going to jump. "Hey, Pinkie! Watch this!" Sonic shouted.
He reached the edge of the building and spin jumped into the air. He flipped in the air as his altitude decreased. Just before he hit the ground, he gripped a pole, and used his momentum to spin around at amazing speeds. After a few seconds, he flew off, and used his parkour to bounce between buildings of different streets, lighting up the sky in blue streaks.
Pinkie Pie stared in amazement. She had only seen that whenever Rainbow Dash had performed a rainboom, which rarely ever happened. But, she had never seen it so close to the ground, and done with parkour. And the Canterlot sky's darkness made it all the better to see.
Twilight Sparkle's P.O.V:
"What's that in the sky?" Applejack asked curiously. I looked into the sky and saw a blue streak zoom across the sky.
"Yeah. What is it?" I asked as well.
Then, I put two and two together. The only thing that fast and blue could either be Sonic or Rainbow Dash. And Rainbow Dash can only leave a rainbow colored trail.
"Sonic!" Tails and I shouted simultaneously. Before the street lights dimmed, Tails and I flew off towards the light at our top speed, leaving Applejack and Eggman to run after us.
3rd Person P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Adventure DX: Speed Highway - At Dawn)
Tails and Twilight led their little ensemble from high above the streets of Canterlot, now on their way towards Sonic and Pinkie, which was still along the way to the castle.
As they flew they noticed three trails. Two were on one side of the city covered in a dust cloud, but it showed a small morsel of color. That color could be identified as a mix of blue and pink (with balloons). That had to be Pinkie and Sonic. The other side consisted of a rainbow trail with a bit extra violet. That had to be Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Fortunately for me they were all headed in the same general direction: to the castle of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
Miles 'Tails' Prower's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Madness)
After about twenty minutes, we had finally managed to regroup (Sonic and Pinkie were drinking smoothies that they had "found"; Rainbow Dash and Rarity were wandering around window shopping (second best to actual shopping)), we headed into the castle. That was where Eggman's secret base was located.
We sneaked through the dark, damp, and rat infested sewers of Canterlot, much to Rarity's dismay, and managed to sneak into the dungeon that no one except for Eggman and Twilight knew about. Luckily, we had Fluttershy -with the animal expertise- to take care of the rats, bats, and other mysterious creatures. And we had Twilight, who knew the layout of the Canterlot inside and out from adventures with her brother and foal sitter.
We all walked into an empty room that was pitch black, except for the lights over a table in the center. I guess Eggman never finished this one. Then again, it is inside of a dungeon of a heavily guarded castle.
Anyways, I set to work on Cubot's voice chip since he and Orbot had politely asked. Fluttershy and Orbot watched next to me. "Whoa, overcompensate much?" Sonic asked. "Man, how many military factories does a guy need?" He laughed.
"If you weren't always destroying them, I wouldn't need so many." Eggman retorted.
Meanwhile, I had just finished fixing the voice chip. "And… DONE!" I exclaimed triumphantly.
"Wow. Thanks for fixing me!" Cubot thanked me with his proper voice.
"No problem. Sorry you got stuck with a voice chip that looks like it was built by a two year old!" I shouted so that Eggman could hear me loud and clear.
"I think I liked it better when I was trying to destroy you." Eggman muttered.
"Yeah, well, feeling's mutual, Eggface!" I shouted back.
"Whoa, whoa, WHOA!" Sonic yelled as he ran in front of us as we were getting closer. "Before we start destroying each other, let's remember why we're working together,"
"Okay, please remind me." I said through gritted teeth.
"Tails, we need Eggman to shut down his machine," Sonic tried to reason. Key word here is tried.
"And you don't trust me to do it,"
"What?! NO! I trust you Tails, it's just that-"
"No, you don't. You trust Eggman more. Do you know how much that bites?" My own brother, trusting in Eggman; our own enemy ever since we were little; more than he trusts me. From experience, we should both know that he's going to betray us.
"I do trust you, Tails. But the world's in danger because I did something stupid. Do you know how much THAT bites?" What did that have to do with me? I warned you! Better yet, what did that have to do with Eggman? Why did he have to come along?
"Actually, nothing bites more than listening to this dreadful conversation." Eggman butted in.
"EGGMAN, YOU BITE!"
Pinkie Pie's P.O.V:
Oh, poop. Sonic and Tails have gotten into a fight. And that has made them sad. And when others are sad, I get sad. It's quite a feeling I tell you. It's like you just watched someone die, but then someone also insults you with the ultimate burn about it. But who is that evil? Sonic walked off towards Rainbow Dash and I, whilst Tails walked over to Twilight and Fluttershy.
"Sonic? Are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine, just fine. Trust me; this isn't that serious of a fight." Sonic tried to reassure us. Dashie nodded understandingly. Sonic might have Rainbow fooled, but I am much different. I can see through him. This is his first serious fight with his B.B.B.F.F. This wasn't a fight over who ate the last chilidog or forgot to record the all day long marathon of Avatar: The Last Airbender. This was a fight about between trusting your brother and trusting you greatest arch enemy.
I reached out to Sonic's face and pulled right up to my own. "Sonic. I want you to tell me with a straight face: Are. You. Oh-Kay?" I asked again in a far more serious tone.
"I'm telling you Pinkie, I'm fine," Sonic began to walk towards the exit. "Now, I've got to find a restaurant or something. I'm starving!" Something is wrong with that boy. And I plan to find out what! After all, my little pony, friendship is magic! Why does tha sound familiar? (*3)
3rd Person P.O.V:
Sonic walked towards the exit until he stopped. He had never been here before. As much as he wanted to go exploring on his own in order to clear his head like he usually would, he needed to get to the Princess (whom he had never met before). And the only person who would be able to help him with that was Twilight Sparkle. "Come on Sparkle. Let's go and find that princess of yours." Sonic said as he motioned towards the creaky, moldy; ready to fall onto something door.
"Oh, of course! Luckily for you, I know this place like the back of my hoof!" Twilight agreed as she performed her super speed spell on herself and simultaneously flew out the door.
Zavok's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Shadow the Hedgehog - Prologue)
Of all of the- You know what, we need her. I won't annihilate her just yet. "Why are you still here?" I asked as nicely as possible.
"I'm just getting ready," Zeena said as she kept filing her nails. She's been sitting here for a half an hour already.
"Well, you seem to be taking your time," I rolled my eyes. But then again, she's a girl. And I can talk to girls. This was going to be easy.
"It is my time to take, now isn't it?"
"Well, what if I told you that you were the only one I trusted to be fast enough,"
"Oh?"
"Smart enough," I continued.
"Mmhmm,"
"And pretty enough," I kept complimenting her.
"Go on,"
"To beat the blue nuisance and kill the princesses?" I finished. I know change of plans. The Princess is important too.
"Well, I'd say you've got the right girl for the job." Zeena said as she began to walk out the door, with a proud face.
"Well… That was so easy, I almost feel guilty." I told you so.
Princess Celestia's P.O.V:
Where is Twilight Sparkle? I really need to speak to her. Fortunately, Cadence and Shining Armor are on their way here. And Twilight Velvet. And Night Light. Why is everypony so worried about Twilight now? She's handled worse than this before. Maybe it's about the other-worlders that she is traveling with. I hope they like him. After all, he is a good guy.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"Enter," I said. My sister, Princess Luna entered the royal throne room. "Ah, sister. You have returned from… wherever it was that you went."
"Yes. I am back from teaching my student. Well, actually, I ended class early after I heard the news,"
"Oh? And, what about this news worries you?"
"This blue hedgehog that keeps coming up. I have seen this hedgehog in the dreams of Twilight, her friends, and my student."
"Really now?"
Luna nodded.
"Well, if he has caught the eye of the Elements of Harmony and your student, then I can't wait to meet him." I laughed.
3rd Person P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic and the Secret Rings: The Palace That Was Once Found)
Sonic the Hedgehog and Twilight Sparkle rushed through the castle grounds, with Sonic using his real speed, and Twilight using her super speed spell.
"Okay, where to next?" Sonic asked as he ran up the hundreds of stairs between the basement and the food court, which he did not know was coming up.
Twilight and Sonic slowed down a bit to take a better look at where they were. The glass sign on the wall gave an indication of where the two were. Twilight, being the only one who cared to read the sign, read the sign. "We're close to the food court for the guards. Which means we're only just below the surface."
Sonic's face lit up in anticiapation."Cool! I'm getting something to eat! Think they have chilidogs?"
"Probably not. Chilidogs are made of meat. We would probably use a carrot. We are ponies after all. We don't eat much meat. Except for fish and occasionally beef. Not for hot dogs though. Just don't tell Fluttershy! She is straight vegan."
Sonic's smile dropped slightly as he rubbed his stomach in hunger again. "Oh. Well then, this is officially the worst world I have ever been to. Luckily Tails has a bunch of chilidogs in the Tornado. I would just have to heat them up."
Sonic and Twilight turned left, away from the food court, despite how hungry Sonic was, and headed up the stairs to the next floor, the first floor which was along the ground surface.
Princess Mi Amore Cadenza's P.O.V
(Music Insert: The Simpsons MOVIE: The Game - Trapped Like Carrots)
"Come on Shining Armor, lighten up. Just because there is some worldly crisis doesn't automatically mean that Twilight is going to die. I swear, you act like just like your mother when it comes to your sister," I sighed at Shining Armor's antics as we entered the castle. He was wearing his Royal Guard armor, ready to destroy anything bad that comes into Twilight's way. I swear he's a baby that way. And yet, that's one reason as to why I love him.
"You don't get it Cadence, after our wedding, I promised myself to do what is right and be a better role model for Twily."
"Exactly. After our wedding, you trusted Twilight and Spike in saving the Crystal Empire. Now, you can't trust her with bringing a boy to meet us. We're not her parents, yet we're acting like we are." I had him there. The invite had only said that we needed to talk about politics. And that Twilight was bringing a boy over. No name, no age, no special talent, no nothing.
Shining Armor shuffled his hooves around. "I guess you're right."
"Exactly, I'm always right, honey."

"Student?" I called my student through the large (but not larger than mine) wooden door.
"Yes, Princess?" She asked, opening the door for me.
I entered the mare's room, and closed the door myself. I walked over to her bed, and pointed to her bathroom. "Go and get cleaned up. We will be having supper soon with some very important guest,"
"More important than you?" My little prodigy asked.
I blushed and rubbed a hoof through my mane. Yes, it IS possible. "Oh, you flatter me. But in a way, yes. So time is of the essence."
"Oh really? Well, Trixie will be right there." She said as she entered her bathroom and I walked out of the room.
Shining Armor's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Unleashed (Wii/PS2 Version) - Gaia Gate)
Cadence and I stood in the lobby of the castle on the first floor, waiting on Princess Celestia to call us up. We stood there for a few minutes, before we heard a blood curdling screech from down the hall near the staircase that was loud enough to break glass, and we felt a gust of wind strong enough to blow a house down that messed up Cadence's mane. That was pretty funny.
"STOP!" The wind shouted. Another screech echoed through the halls, and the wind tackled me and Cadence. "B.B.B.F.F!" That wind was Twilight!
"Hey Twilight!" Cadence called out. Twilight got off of Cadence and I, as they started up their ladybug thing that's been around ever since Twilight could walk and talk. "Sunshine, sunshine. Ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves, and do a little shake!" Twily and Cadence both said as they performed the actions that went along with the words. Behind us, was laughter.
"Bwahahahahaha!" A random voice laughed. If that's one of the guards, they are so fired.
As I looked at what was laughing, I wished it was a guard. Behind my sister and wife, was a remarkably tall blue creature, with features extremely different from any species on the planet such as standing on its hind legs, laughing like my sister's friend Pinkie Pie. And based off the laughter it can clearly talk.
"What in the? What in all of Equestria are you supposed to be?" I asked cautiously.
The creature regained its composure, and answered my question. "I was on my way to the princess with the princess. Who are you?" Told you it could talk.
"I'm Twily's older brother, Shining Armor. And, stay away from my sister and Princess Celestia." I answered as I began to walk towards the hedgehog.
The creature walked backwards with his noodle arms raised in defense. "Sorry. Let me introduce myself," The creature flipped back and crossed his arms over his chest, leaving one stick (finger) out. "I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. The hero. Nice to meet you." He got out of his pose, and stuck out an arm, trying to shake hooves with me. I pushed him away. After all, I still didn't trust this guy. Or his poker face. My wife on the other hoof, was thinking something else.
"Ooooh! Twilight, is this your coltfriend? He's so adorable! I wish I was your age again. If I was, I would totally date him!" Cadence squealed in delight as she gave Sonic her hoof to shake. Then, she pulled him into a hug.
Now, I really didn't trust this guy. He's about to steal my wife for crying out loud!
"Stop hugging him, Cadence. And Sonic is not my coltfriend. If it were up to me, I would go for his brother if he was just like two years older," Twily reassured. That eased me. Luckily, my sister is not one of those graphic novel characters that always-DID SHE SAY HIS BROTHER?!
"Well, we were on our way to meet with Auntie Celestia anyways. You can tag along." Cadence suggested.
"That would be awesome... Cadence, was it?" Princess Cadence nodded. "Think you can keep up?" Sonic said before his legs traveled fast enough to resemble a sideways eight, and then he raced up the stairwell to the next floor with Twilight zooming close behind.
"I don't like him."
"Oh shut up Shining Armor. He may wind up saving your life."
Zeena's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Colors: Yacker's Plea)
That worthless Sonic and that dreaded Alicorn reached the top of the castle, and stopped in front of the princesses' throne room, just below me. I was in the vents. This was supposed to be any easy kill. Well, I'll look on the bright side. At least now I can kill two birds with one stone. I can kill Sonic and the princesses. Wait, who's that?
"Oh Twilight!" A voice rang out.
"Uh oh." The lavender Alicorn sighed.
From a different set of stairs came two unicorns, one male and the other female. Running up to her, in open hooves was Twilight's mother, I suppose. A billion miles behind her was I guess her dad, who had more common sense than the mother, like not to make a scene.
"Night Light! Hurry up! Look who I found!" The mother screamed at Night Light, who was pretending not to know who my mother was as he turned slightly to the left. "Night Light! Get your sorry flank over here now!" She screamed again. The stallion pretended to not know her"You! The stallion in the dark blue coat, the grayish azre mane, and crescent shaped cutie mark who is trying to avoid his wife!" She screeched again describing his visual appearance. Oh man. Her voice is as high pitched as a banshee when she screams.
"Hi mom…" The purple pony sighed again as she hugged her mother.
Eventually the male managed to walk up to his wife and daughter, and joined in the hug. "Hello Twilight. Glad to see you here. Are you here to see the princess as well?"
"Yes, I am Father,"
Sonic coughed, causing for him to be noticed by Twilight's parents, who stepped back in fear. "Oh, and this is my good friend, Sonic. He was also requested to speak to the princess."
"Twily!" A stallion of white shouted from near exhaustion. Oh brother, more ponies. If the next pony I see, is even a color I don't like, like pink, I'm going down there, and killing them all.
"Sonic! Twilight! Why'd you go so fast?!" A… pink pony said. I'm done here.
As soon as the little get together was wrapping up, another pony came out. And she was freaking HUGE! She had to be like five feet or something!
"Hello Twilight. Hello Shining Armor and Cadence. And not to forget your parents," The princess greeted cheerfully. "Oh! And you must be the other-worlder. Nice to meet you. I am Princess Celestia." She seems more like a pansy than a threat as she bowed to Sonic. (Like he deserved it...) She should easy to defeat, despite her size. Then, I remembered that I overheard that she banished her own sister, to the MOON! The moon for Pete's sake! But, I've got to try. I do need to get back so that I can redo my hair. And plus, I don't like Sonic, so, now's the time to strike, and kill seven birds with one stone.
The Great and Powerful Trixie's P.O.V (Pretty much 3rd Person P.O.V.):
All was fine in the private dining area, which was inside of the Sun Princess and Moon Princess' throne room. Trixie almost never ate in there with her mentor and her elder sister. The only times were when the Royal Guards Ponies were so drunk, that they flirted terribly with Trixie, or if there was someone that was so important that Trixie just had to meet so that Princess Luna could get bragging rights about having a personal student.
This time, it was Option #2. Trixie and her mentor, Princess Luna, sat in the room along with Twilight's slave- er I mean pet- I mean assistant, Spot. Sorry, Spike. After Celestia had excused herself we could hear chatter coming from beyond the door. It must have been the important visitors.
THUD!
Something heavy had just dropped where Princess Celestia was currently located. "Come Trixie, to the door! Spike! Stay here!" Luna yelled. Spike happily obliged, and stayed at the table, eating up the gems and hard candy that we were spoiling him with. That was totally not a way to prank Twilight Sparkle or anything like that. No way. Luna and I both ran with all of our speed to reach the clatter. And, when we opened the door, we saw a bunch of useless royal guards-ponies, Princess Celestia, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, two random ponies, and…
Twilight Sparkle and Sonic the Hedgehog!
Everyone except for Sonic and Twilight were frozen solid in separate blocks of ice. Celestia's horn glowed dimly as she struggled to free herself.

3rd Person P.O.V:
"ENOUGH!" Princess Luna bellowed with the Royal Canterlot Voice, loud enough to break the ice encasing the prisoners. However, the halls were still covered in glistening ice and snow. And everyone was still freezing. (Sonic had requested not to melt anything that was not a sentient being just yet, for the water amount would be too much for him)
"Aww. You're adorable Moonie. Almost as adorable as Blue Boy over here." Zeena said coldly, sitting atop a mountain of snow, with bombs planted up and down the mountain. Sonic and Luna growled in protest.
With a twist of her neck, Zeena bunched everyone in the room who was not frozen to a wall, ceiling, or the floor in the most uncomfortable way possible. Then, she rolled them along the snow white ground, until they were formed into a snowball.
"Try and get me now." She laughed as she rose her arms, her horn shining. From this action a giant snowman rose up from underneath Zeena. The ball of heroes rolled around quickly as Zeena began to take on the offensive side. She released robotic drones after them, but it was nearly useless to move if everyone wanted to go in different directions. The rly durable snowball bounced back and forth as robots kept blowing it up, and moving it around.
"Stop it! We're getting nowhere with this!" Twilight yelled. Everyone stopped trying to move the snowball and listened to the Alicorn. "We need to work as a team!" Then, she began to give orders. "Sonic! Direct us to the Zeti! Everyone else, use your magic to move around and attack. If we do this correctly, we can defeat her in one quick stroke!" Everyone nodded I agreement, but really they just wanted Twilight to stop yelling.
Sonic used his hands to wipe a hole in the snowball, to see where to direct everyone. Everyone else with magical abilities covered the snowball in each of their aura, practically making the ball a bomb. "There's a clear shot! Full speed ahead!" Sonic directed. With the magic of four Alicorns and four Unicorns, the ball spun fast. About as fast as Sonic. Then, faster than a lightning bolt, it rolled along the ground and struck Zeena's snowman. Zeena fell to the ground to get a face full of snowball.
"Ooh! You're gonna pay for that!" Zeena shouted before teleporting away.
Twilight Sparkle's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Colors: Yacker's Plea)
Aha! I knew something was familiar with these Zeti! After Trixie had asked about who the Deadly Six were and Zeena's show, I finally figured it out! Princess Celestia has some explaining to do! And that's because those Zeti, are either part Unicorn or part Alicorn! No other crerature in the universe uses their horns as a source of power. Magical power. Sonic had met with everyone in the room, and we were all surprised to see Sonic speak so casually with Princess Celestia. He didn't refer to her by her title. Instead he called her by her name, and Tia, like Princess Luna would. I'm a princess myself, and I still call Princess Celestia by her title. Spike and Sonic hit it off in an instant. I might not understand how guys work, but one fist bump later, they were good friends. Luna and Sonic were practically the same. Although, I think a videogame war in something called Super Smash Bros. 4 may have just started between Equestrians and Mobians, or at least Princess Luna, Sonic, Tails, and this colt I know named Button Mash.
After everyone had calmed down and regrouped at the dinner table, I spoke up to clear the awkwardness of Sonic's popularity being higher than Rarity's. "So, Princess Celestia, Spike, how do you like my friend?"
Princess Celestia finished chewing her spinach and stood up before she spoke. "I will admit, the hedgehog has proved himself. He is exactly how I thought he would be: A hero and a cocky one at that, just like Rainbow Dash. Not that I had ever doubted the Knight of the Wind, Sir Sonic the Hedgehog. And I do hope that young Miles Prower is in the vicinity," Princess Celestia admitted with a bow. I was confused.
So was Sonic. "You've heard of me and Tails, Celestia?" Sonic asked. I could tell that with that small smirk of his, he was proud of himself for being known on Equestria by its ruler.
"Of course. You have performed a thousand feats from saving small towns to saving huge worlds. Who wouldn't know of you?"
Sonic began to list a bunch of names of ponies that he now knows who didn't know him as he kept eating his fruit: the ponies of Canterlot, the ponies of Equestria (minus Ponyville), and a very very very very small portion of the universe.
"Well, that certainly is a lot of Equestrians, now isn't it? I do hope that no one has feared you during your stay."
"Actually, Tia, no one really was afraid of me, except for the citizens here. But, from what Pinkie told me, these ponies up here are super uptight compared to Ponyville, so that was to be expected."
Princess Celestia's horn shone, and used her magic to get a paper and quill before she sat back down to write.
"And, I think that we should get your friends up here too for dinner. Right, Twilight?"
I jumped up at the sudden mention of my name. "Of course. Sonic, could you go and get them?" I asked him. I didn't want to interrupt my meal. There were daisies and spinach and almost every plant that was grown in Equestria! And plus, he's faster than I am.
"Yeah, I want to meet Miles too!" Spike cheered.
Zavok's P.O.V:
How could she be so stupid? When she gets back, so help me…
"I'm back Zavok." Zeena called out melancholically.
"How could you be so stupid? I expected something like this from Zazz or Zomom, not you."
"What?" She took a minute to think. "Oh, right. I used too much magic power, and gave away our identity. Don't blame me. I didn't want to get my hands dirty."
"That is exactly why I blame you! Now that that hedgehog knows what we are, he can easily find our weaknesses."
"But, all that he's been doing is beating us up."
"And if he finds out the sensitivity of our horns?"
"Then we get an ice pack."
I face palmed and threw a book at her face. She dodged and ran out the room.
Sonic the Hedgehog's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic and the Black Knight: Believe in Myself)
Tails, the Mane Six, Trixie, the Princesses of Equestria, Spike, and I sat in the castle's conference room, a fairly large room with four banners in front of four out of the six windows. One was of Princess Celestia and her cutie mark, the other of Luna's, another of Cadence's, and lastly, Twilight's. Tails and the Mane Six, except for Twilight, had their own small plate of fruits and vegetables.
"As Twilight noticed, the Deadly Six are in fact creations from Equestria. They were a project to create a small amount of life forms that would be strong enough to save Equestria from our ten year war with the griffons; a lot like Project Shadow; am I right?"
Tails and I nodded. "After six years, we had finished. We had created six, accidentally humanoid, beings that would be able to help us win the war," Celestia took a sip of a glass of water. "Our team consisted of the strongest and smartest unicorns ever, including myself. Our team consisted of me, Starswirl the Bearded, and an older unicorn named Dumbledore and his brother Gandalf."
"Thanks to the Deadly Six, we were able to win. The griffons had thought that our method was cheating, and we had always gotten into fights. Until, the griffons had managed to steal our creations, and somehow they turned them against us. I fought them myself with the Elements of Harmony, and sealed them away into a temple on your planet in a town called Shamar," Celestia had finished explaining.
"Did you get back together?" Tails asked.
"Of course. In fact it was because of Rainbow Dash and Gilda's relationship, and our allowing of the griffons to join the Equestria Games that we got back together."
"But, still, how do you know me and Tails?" I asked curiously.
"Do you remember the Mother Wisp?"
I brought my head down to the table. "Yeah, how could I forget? Even my super (saiyan) form, Super Sonic had a bit of trouble taking her down."
"Well, that was me. Go figure?" Twilight's face dropped. Tails and the rest of the Mane Six's eyes were bulging out of their sockets. "And, I have also been watching you save the world, even books-"
"You've saved books? How come you never told me about that? That would be so coo-" Twilight interrupted. I closed her mouth before she could continue her rant. She shooed me away with her magic. "And, I told you something seemed familiar with the wisp. Why'd you spy on us anyways?"
"After I learned about the teleport, I was curious. So, I simply followed you into space, and had a grand time. I don't get to go to amusement parks in space very often you know. But, I do usually arrive in Sonic's world for vacations and whatnot."
Twilight Sparkle's P.O.V:
"Princess, Doctor Eggman has manipulated the zeti to go after us, but they have also betrayed him," Tails said. "We will need Equestrian support. Could you help us? Could any of you help us?"
"You sound like you could use some help. The Great and Powerful Trixie accepts your invitation to - as they say- join the battle."
"Huzzah! The fun has been doubled!" Princess Luna also cheered.
"And anytime that you need me, you have my support. However, Luna and I must stay in Canterlot. But anytime you need us, just call."
"And Shining Armor and I have to take care of the Crystal Empire. Sorry Twi. But the same applies to us. You need us, just give us a holler." Cadence smiled.
"Trixie may join you though." Luna said. Trixie practically jumped out of her seat in delight. She ran over to Sonic, and gave him a big hug. Okay, fine, not that big of a hug, but a hug that said "Hello. I will be following you around from now on." What am I? Chopped liver? Oh yeah, and Spike's coming too.
Twilight Velvet's P.O.V:
This all sounds fun and all, but it's also VERY dangerous. I don't want my baby, a PRINCESS, getting hurt. I should probably have that hedgehog remember to protect her.
"Sonic? Could you come here for a second? I need to ask you of a favor," I asked sweetly as I walked towards a corner.
"Yes, Twilight's Mom?" Sonic asked.
"You do anything to get my baby hurt; and you'll be dealing with me. And, I'm pretty sure I can do way worse than any 'villain' that you've faced in your time. Got that, Hedgehog?" I growled.
Sonic gulped. "Yes ma'am." He gave me a goofy and scared, yet reassuring smile. I think he got the message.
The Great and Powerful Trixie's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Lost World - Frozen Factory Zone 3)
After dinner, Sonic took Trixie out with him. Now that Princess Celestia told the ponies of Canterlot that Sonic was safe, everypony left their homes braver. We ran through the now brightly lit and populated Canterlot streets at our top speeds. Well, Sonic went a bit slower than normal because of the excess weight on his back: Trixie, and the sudden crowds forming in the streets to look at Sonic. We kept running past ponies, ruining their hair and clothes. It was fun. Trixie's always wanted to do that when she was little. Now, at seventeen, Trixie can. Well, Sonic did.
3rd Person P.O.V:
Sonic ran up to the female zeti, and stopped at the fire hydrant that she was sitting on. "Move it or lose it Snowcone!"
"The last time we met, you ruined my nail art. And my feelings. Now, I have to apply a whole new coat." Zeena complained.
Sonic looked at Zeena with a pitiful face. "Oh my God. Are you serious? I am so, so sorry." Sonic 'apologized', bringing a hand to his chest.
"Well, in that case…" Zeena poofed away her nail supplies.
"No what I meant to say was I'm so sorry that you have nothing more important to do in life." Sonic explained with a straight face.
"Ugh! You're going to pay for that," Zeena shouted as she stood up. "As soon as my nails dry." She added before jumping off, and running away.
"Thot." Sonic thought to himself angrily before he ran off with his teammate close behind before she teleported onto his back.
Trixie's P.O.V:
Sonic stopped in front of a street with a single building taking up the entire street. We wouldn't have stopped if there wasn't anything strange going on. This building was covered in ice! Sonic ran into the frozen building, navigating through the insides of a frozen factory. A small amount of Pegasi flew above kicking away icicles while Unicorns and Earth Ponies stayed on the ground, managing all of the ice on the surface. In the middle of it all, Sonic stopped. "I think that Zeena was here." Sonic noticed. Trixie rolled her eyes.
Sonic started up again, using the force of his speed to help the ponies break through the ice as he headed down floors and up floors, helping the ponies out there. Sonic was happy to oblige, and we received some vital information.
After Sonic and I helped a stallion out of a block of ice on the second floor, he gave us some useful information. "You had to have been here, Sonic. This chick went crazy. She froze the entire building. I don't think she's left yet. She should be on the roof." He said.
"Thanks!" Sonic cheered before he ran up the stairs to the roof.
3rd Person P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Lost World: The Deadly Six Theme)
"You shouldn't keep a lady waiting," Zeena growled furiously.
"Uh-oh. Is she still upset about what I had said to her?" Sonic wondered.
She pulled down a giant snowman's head, and began to swing it around with an electric lasso that magically appeared. As Zeena swung it around, Sonic ran around in front of it. While her back was turned towards her, Trixie zapped Zeena, causing for her to drop the snowman. Immediately she got up, and now swung two snowmen heads. Sonic jumped high above the ground, and homing attacked Zeena in the head.
Zeena fell again, but got up in order to run away. "If my nail art was ruined again, you're DEAD!" She screeched as she flew away.
"That was really easy. Like easier than before. (*4)" Sonic said before taking off, jumping from roof to roof.
Sonic the Hedgehog's P.O.V:
(Music Insert: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Radical Highway)
I flipped from a roof of a Canterlot building with Trixie hanging onto my back for dear life, and next to my fraternizing compadres. "That was cool," I joked about my daring escape from the freezer that Zeena had just left the two buildings of Canterlot in. "Pun entirely intended," I added. Pinkie was the only one who laughed at my joke. Suddenly, the laughter was interrupted by a sparkling miniature glass glacier appearing in front of us.
The ice was a screen. On the screen were Zazz and Zavok's face. "Your efforts are impressive, little hedgehog," It's always nice to hear a compliment from your enemy. Even if they only last a second. Just wait. "But you are destined to fail, as that fat fool has failed before you." And, there it is…
Eggman stood up. "I'll get fat from eating your black hearts, you Eggman wannabees!"
"Whoa…" Rainbow, Pinkie, and I whistled. Twilight covered Spike's ears.
"Your threats are almost as amusing as your moustache," Oh, he did it now. No one makes fun of a man's moustache. And lives, anyway. Especially not Eggman's. "I must commend you on your invention, though. We get stronger and stronger as we leech the life from your dying world."
"Yeah, I noticed." I said.
"Where are you going to live when your world's dead, guys? Oh right, you'll be dead too! Too bad for you" Zazz laughed. Wow, only Metal Sonic could be THAT sick.
(Preparing Eggman badassery in 3… 2… 1…) "I will burn your world, you rebellious scum!" Eggman threatened as he began to walk towards the glacier, punching his fist. "I will destroy everything you love, and make you watch!" Suddenly, Eggman began to punch; that's right, PUNCH the solid ice. "I'll…!" The topmost piece of the left side of the ice fell off, and nearly crushed Fluttershy. "I'll…!" The screen began to crack. "I'll…!" With one final punch, the entire glacier fell apart!
"Boss, your hands!" Orbot noted, concerned for his creator's conditions.
"As long as I can still strangle a zeti, my hands are fine." Eggman said darkly, before clenching a fist.
Orbot's P.O.V:
We had been walking back to the Tornado for quite some time now. I was still carrying Cubot's head.
"I am getting tired of lugging your head around, pal, so I made you a snow-bot body." I said as I put Cubot's head onto the small snow-bot body I made him.
"I can't feel my legs." He said. But, he never had legs to begin with. We can both float. Nevertheless, I laughed.
"Truly, your robots are a reflection of your genius, Doctor Eggman," Tails said sarcastically. I resent that!
Then, Tails' eyes bulged out. From the look on his face I could tell he had gotten an idea. "But this does give me an idea!" He began to merge Cubot's head with the destroyed Crabmeat behind him.
Doctor Eggman began to talk with Twilight Sparkle and Sonic. "I think I know a way for Equestria to implode using null gravity effects. We could destroy the zeti in one quick stroke," Eggman suggested.
"And exterminate every living thing around them! Are you out of your mind?" Twilight explained.
"Of course there would be some collateral damage, but…"
"Collateral damage?' What kind of monster-" Sonic began to ask.
"TAILS!" Eggman yelled, interrupting the Blue Blur. Tails was about to get sucker punched by Cubot. Eggman dived onto Tails, pushing him out of the way, and Sonic homing attacked Crabmeat's body off of Cubot's head, catching him in the process.
"I'm sorry. I suddenly felt very mean." Cubot apologized. Sonic nodded, and then handed the small dragon Cubot's head.
"Not the best idea to put the dimwit's head on the battle robot's body."
"In hindsight, I've got to agree with you, Doc. Thanks for the save," I have a feeling that Eggman was feeling pretty proud of himself for that. "Umm… can you get off of me now?" Tails asked.
"I can't seem to figure you out. One second, you're contemplating genocide. And the next, you're saving one of your worst enemies." Twilight sighed.
"I'm a complicated guy." Eggman answered after he had gotten up.
"And you! What were you thinking, Tails? You could have gotten yourself killed!" Sonic yelled at Tails.
"I was just trying to help." Tails grumbled as he kicked his feet and looked at the ground.
"Okay, okay. Can we just get back to Ponyville now?" Sonic grumbled.
"I don't know why I wanted to join you guys on this adventure. There is already too much yelling at each other." Spike sighed as he facepalmed.
Pinkie Pie's P.O.V:
Uh-oh! Sonic and Tails are fighting again! I have to save this dying relationship with a party! Come next chapter, I'm going to treat them to Sugarcube Corner's bests! Just you wait unsuspecting reader! Auntie Pinkie Pie is going to save the day!
I honestly didn't like writing this chapter. Maybe because Dimps and Sonic Team suck at staying consistent and following simple orders. I couldn't base this on Frozen Factory much, which made writing a bit difficult. I really used the 3DS version of Sky Road. However, I did use Frozen Factory Zone 3 from the Wii U version. The theme was Speed Highway Classic Remix.

Reference #2: Gotta go fast. Gotta go real fast. How fast? Like Sanic fast!
Reference #3: Uhhh... No reason, Pinkie. It's not like the show that you star in is titled that or anything.
Reference #4: Yeah... Blame Sonic Team, Sonic. They forgot how to make bosses hard like they did in Sonic Unleashed.
