I've been pretty busy with end of year exams and all (also got addicted to another harvest moon game). Oh and I have started to add comments to these chapters as I was in a rush to upload them.

It was early dawn and still a bit dark outside. I was packing my things and Calem was still asleep. Good, he's asleep. I can leave without him noticing. I Returned everyone to their pokeballs and was about to wake up Tyrell but thought otherwise. Placing my bag on my back, I slipped through the doorway and headed down the hall. There were doors on each side and every one of them had a number on them. It was kinda like a small hotel on top of a pokemon center. Downstairs Nurse joy had just started work and was busy at the counter, her chansey kept coming in and out of a door behind the counter. I managed to get outside before the two spotted me. Outside it was quiet no one was around this early in the morning. But in the distance I could hear something, it sounded like someone was fighting. I walked over to were the noise was coming from. Two people were training using lucario. One of the trainers was a young girl around my age and the other was an elderly man. The girl was wearing roller skates and a helmet that looked like a Meinshao's head. I then realised she looked familiar, she was Korrina the gym leader of shalour and the elderly man fighting her was her grandfather, he was known as The Mega Guru (According to the game his real name is Gurkin, LOL). I hadn't noticed Rush had forced himself out of his pokeball and was standing next to me watching the fight. On one of Korrina's hand was a black fingerless glove with a multi-coloured, gem like stone in the center. The stone glowed and at the same time one of the Lucario did, like it was evolving. When both the stone and lucario stopped glowing, lucario's form had changed.

"Mega Lucario, AuraSphere!" Korrina shouted and the lucario charged up a blue sphere attack and sent it forward knocking out the other lucario. After exchanging afew words the mega guru returned his Lucario and walked off.

After the battle had finnished the lucario changed back into its normal form. "So that's mega evolution. Hey, Wait! Rush come back here!" Before I knew it Rush had ran of towards the young gym leader. He stopped infront of the Lucario.

"Hey, you. Fight me!" Rush got into a fight stance.

The Lucario looked down at Rush "Sorry, kid you're not strong enough."

"Are you callin' me weak?!" Rush jumped up and tried to throw a punch at the lucario.

It caught the punch and Rush landed back on the ground lightly "Weak, no, but not strong enough to fight me."

Korrina laughed slightly "Looks like you've got a challenger Lulu."

I had just caught up when Rush stepped back and said "Lulu? Wait, You're a girl!?"

"Yeah, so what if I am." Lulu stepped forward threateningly.

Rush was about to throw another punch when I picked him up "Rush don't be so rude! I apologise for his behaviour."

I turned and started walking when Korrina spoke "Wait, why don't we have a battle. Both of our pokemon seem to want to."

I turned and looked down at rush who looked back up with eager eyes. I sighed quietly to myself "Sure why not, I haven't had a battle in awhile. But don't underestimate me because Rush hasn't evolved yet."

Korrina smiled "Great! Oh I know lets have a double battle."

She got into place on one side of the battle field and I got on the other with Rush. She pulled out a pokeball and released another Lucario, this one a male called Blu. I knew it wasn't a great choice but I went for Chaos because of her speed and not for a type advantage.

Korrina called from across the battle field "I don't know what you're thinking using a dark type against my two fighting types, but lets get this battle started."

Rush charged towards Lulu, firing up a Aurasphere and shooting it at Lulu. She deflected the attack back without effort. Rush stopped and growled quietly. Lulu had her turn to attack and used Power-Up punch, an attack the increases the users attack power, and struck Rush in the chest. Rush staggered back slightly then used Forcepalm, with little effect. I sighed and focused on Chaos and Blu who were sizing each other up. I told her to use Psycho Cut, a move it took ages to teach and one she learned in our lab days. The attack hit Blu in the face nearly knocking him out. Blu regained balance and fired up a Power-Up Punch, at the same time Chaos appeared next to him and used Sucker punch, not very effective but still did damage, after that she finished the job with Psycho Cut. Rush was being hit by small AuraSpheres from Lulu while trying to charge up his own AuraSphere, he got knocked down by a larger attack. Chaos tried to help but Rush told her to stay back and she did. Rush stood back up and tried another force palm but got hit back by power-up punch, the attacks power had doubled. He stood back up slowly and painfully when a light engulfed him, Rush was evolving, the light disappeared and left a Lucario in it's place. (I'm starting to get tired of writing Lucario) Rush growled and fired up a AuraSphere, larger then the ones he normally uses, and shot it at Lulu who staggered back at Rush's newly found strength. Lulu tried another Power-up punch but failed when Rush countered with a Force palm. Rush fired a few other attacks which ended the battle quickly.

"Hah! Not so weak now am I?" Rush stood rather proudly.

"It was mere luck, but lets fight again someday." Lulu got up and walked over with Korrina.

"That was a great battle, I didn't expect to lose that easily." Korrina smiled "Oh, wait, I didn't get your name."

"It's Aria." It then hit me what time it was and we had to get out of town. "I'm sorry but I can't stay and chat I have somewhere I need to be."

"Oh, sorry if I knew I wouldn't of kept you." Korrina looked like she just realised something herself "Ah, I need to get to the gym I have a challenger today." She said a good-bye and walked off towards the gym. I returned Rush and Chaos to their pokeballs and started off in the same direction I was earlier.

I was stood looking at a small stretch of river that ran into the sea. I had walked quite far of the path that lead to a beach and on the other side the next town. It had gotten a little dark and I couldn't find a way across that didn't involve swimming, because I can't swim, well it's not the fact I can't swim it's the fact I never learned and I'm kinda scared of water. Yeah I know it's pathetic that someone modified with the genes of pokemon is scared of water but we all have our childhood nightmares, mines water. I sighed and looked around, no bridge and also no people, giving up I shifted my form to a TalonFlame taking the easy way out. Flapping my wings I flew to the other side. Not far away there was a Skiddo ranch where travellers could borrow a skiddo to help them get to the next town. Just below me was a male trainer with an Umbreon, the trainer was telling the pokemon to use Shadow Ball. It took me a moment to realise that the attack was pointed at me, I just barely dodged the attack when another hit me from a different location. The attack brought me to the ground and a second Umbreon jumped out behind me, this one had blue rings instead of yellow, a shiny. Every time I tried to get airborne I got shot back down by a Shadow Ball. I shifted my form to a Zoroark so I could at least stand and see my opponents. I looked at the trainer and instantly recognised him. He was wearing all black with yellow rings on his shoulders, he had red eyes and had black hair with a yellow ring just above his forehead.

"Don't kid me with that form show me your real one." The two Umbreon stood at either side of him.

"So you're on their side now, Mark."

I've meant to mention Mark in the story when Aria explained who she was. You'll find more about him in next chapter. Can people give me ideas of characters if you can (PM me) if you want you can add choose whether they are friend or foe. I am also currently writing ( I don't know if you'd call it a prequel or what) a story where Aria goes to Unova, this is when she was around the age of 13 and had just escaped from Shade. It's mainly because I wanted to write what would happen between her and N.
