Chapter 4: Have Fun, Zoe's Training
SSX Resort Main Hall
The next morning, Zoe gathered team SSX to announce who would accompany her on her training session in the Rockies for her big Survival event on Mount Robson. She would only take three people for convenience.
"Okay people, I made a decision who's coming with me for training. This will be focused on perfection my possibilities on surviving my challenge." Zoe said.
"It'll probably be me, I just know it." Mac said as he looked proudly at everybody.
"The three who'll join me are Moby of course, Alex, and..." Zoe said.
"Oh oh, me, pick me! Come on Zoe, pick me, I wanna go!" Mac said excited with his hand raised.
"Why are you so excited, do you really wanna go there?" Kaori asked.
"Yeah, have you seen the course she just ended, that looked so cool, I wanna go there too. Besides, I haven't had any action since R&B and I need some exercise." Mac said.
"And the third person who will join me is..." Zoe said.
"Me?" Mac said.
"Not you Mac, calm yourself down." Zoe said.
"Ha see, I told you it was... Wait what, not me, how come?" Mac said.
"Yep, not you but Psymon will join me." Zoe said.
"Who yeah! Time to go Payne!" Psymon said as he was hanging on Zoe's shoulder.
"Take it easy dude, just go grab your stuff and meet me t the helicopter." Zoe said as Psymon let her go.
"Thank you Zoe, I'll prepare my stuff." Alex said as she grabbed her stuff.
"Okay good. Moby, do you have your stuff?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah, I just have to grab my bag out of my room, be right back." Moby said.
"Psymon, you got your stuff?" Zoe asked.
"Got them right here, come on let's go!" Psymon said when he showed his snowboard bag.
"How did you get them that fast?" Zoe asked.
"I grabbed them while you were talking with French fry right there." Psymon said as he pointed at Alex.
"Hey, who you call a fry!" Alex said offended as she puts her hands on her hips.
"Alright alright, that's enough, Alex go to the helicopter with Moby, I'll be there in a second. Just have to handle something." Zoe said.
"Okay, see so soon." Alex said when she left with Moby.
Zoe approached Psymon at that moment.
"Listen, I know about your electricity accident and stuff. I can tolerated your behavior, but do not push it around other people and try to keep yourself under control. They are more sensitive then I am. Understand?" Zoe said.
"Yes woman... Keep myself under control, boss lady." Psymon said when he saluted.
Zoe sights and they both went to the helicopter, Zoe's Pilot, Sammy, took off to the Rockies, leaving the resort on their way to the Rockies once again.
SSX Resort
Back at the resort, the helicopter left and the rest of team SSX were in the lobby again. Mac was depressed because of Zoe's decision as he laid disappointedly on his back on the couch.
"That's so not fair, I wanted to go." Mac said bummed.
"Hey what with you, are you really that disappointed that you couldn't go?" Kaori asked sweet.
"She picked Psymon over me, that's bad enough, but I am just very bored Kaori, we are here in this beautiful resort, but there is just nothing to do." Mac explained
"Bummer, I'll let you go on my training session when I'm next. I promise." Kaori said to him.
"Thanks Kaori, I can always count on you. So what now, you got anything to do?" Mac asked her
"I'll go talk to Elise, see if we can find something to do with our spare time." Kaori looked around and the moment Ty walked by them, Kaori dragged him over on her side. "Here talk to Ty, I'll be back later!" Kaori said as she walked away towards Elise.
"Hey man, what's up with her?" Ty asked when he sat down.
"I really don't know man, she said she was going to talk with Elise about something." Mac said when he looked at Kaori.
Meanwhile, Kaori quickly walked up to Elise.
"Hey Kaori, what's with you, you look a bit worried." Elise said.
"Elise, I need to talk to about something." Kaori said.
"Sure, what is it?" Elise asked
"Well, what if you like someone, but you don't know if he likes you back. I haven't dated in a while so I need some advice." Kaori asked her shy.
"If I may ask, is he a snowboarder in this room?" Elise asked sneaky.
"No, no not at all, I swear! It's uuhh... someone else... you don't know him!" Kaori said worried.
Elise saw that she was getting red and already knew it.
"Oh my God it's true, you like Mac! Kaori is in love with Mac! I mean it's about time, I have been waiting for centuries until you finally developed feelings." Elise said happily.
"No, no, stop yelling please, or he'll hear you." Kaori said when she quickly silenced her.
Mac heard both of them yelling and approached them because of the loud noise.
"Did someone called me just now? Could have sworn I heard my name around here." Mac asked the two ladies.
Mac looked at Kaori and saw she got tongue tied.
"Hey, Kaori what's wrong, you're so red. Is everything all right, or you sick?" Mac asked.
"She's all right, we were talking about the competition, right Kaori?" Elise asked as she winked at her.
"Right?" Kaori said.
"Okay well, see yah later." Mac said as he walked away.
He sat on the couch again and talked to Ty.
"So did they called your name dude?" Ty asked
"Nah, they were probably just having girl talk." Mac said bored and he puts his arms behind his back and relaxed.
Ty leaned on the side on the couch.
"Okay he's gone, tell me Kaori, do you really like him?" Elise asked curious.
"l admit, yes, I do like him. We have been friends and riding partners for ten years. He was my best friend, and we always looked out for each other. I don't know if he feels that way about me. Please Elise, don't tell him about this conversation. I beg of you. It might ruin our friendship forever!" Kari panicked.
"Don't worry, your secret is save with me. But why don't you try to find out if he likes you too? Mac is not that hard to figure out." Elise said.
"I don't know how, I'm worried that I'll say something stupid. I was never that good with all that stuff. Can you help me find out?" Kaori asked.
"Sure, what you need is a day with friends while Zoe and the others are training." Elise said.
"Okay, what are you planning?" Kaori asked her.
"We'll just have a fun day in the city. You, me, Mac and Ty." Elise said.
"Sounds like a fun idea." Kaori said excited.
"Then let's tell the boys, shall we?" Elise said as they both went to Mac and Ty.
Mac almost had his eyes closed until Ty shook him around to keep him awake.
"Mac look, Elise and Kaori are coming this way." Ty said.
Mac yawned and stretched his limbs. He saw them walking towards them.
"Hey boys, Kaori and I were talking, and while Zoe is training, we have some free time. How about we'll have some fun in the city, just the four of us. What do you say?" Elise asked Mac and Ty.
"Hang out huh? Sure, I'm in, it's been so boring here, and I almost fell asleep. This might keep me active. How about you Ty, you in?" Mac asked.
"I'm in too, this'll be cool man!" Ty said excited.
"Great, if we are quick, maybe we can catch the next bus." Elise said as she walked away with Kaori.
The four left the resort. Kaori, Elise, Mac and Ty went to the bus stop. When the bus arrived, the 4 stepped in and went on their way to the city.
Rocky Mountains, Extinguisher Tower on the Race Course Wrecking Crew
Meanwhile in the helicopter, Zoe, Moby, Alex and Psymon were almost at their training spot, The Extinguisher Tower to start Zoe's training session on the course: Wrecking Crew.
"Alright everyone, we are here at the place. Wrecking Crew is the drop you have to use, it's perfect for training and to get used to the hazards of Mount Robsen." the pilot said.
"Thanks man, drop us of at the highest point would you?" Zoe asked.
"I was going to, give me a second." Sam said as everybody got ready to start.
"Listen up everybody, this is not actually a race, but an observation. You three are going on ahead while I'll go a couple seconds later behind you. That way, you guys can contact me on our headset what the course looks like." Zoe explained.
"Got you Zoe, is everyone ready?" Moby asked excited.
"I'm good." Alex said as she puts her snow goggles on.
"Bring on the challenge!" Psymon said.
"Okay I'll open the door." Zoe said when she opened the door. "3... 2... 1... Go go go now!" Zoe yelled as everybody jumped out of the helicopter and started the training.
Thirty seconds later, Zoe also jumped out and started doing some small Indies to get some speed.
"Alright guys I'm on the mountain, what's the situation." Zoe said through her headset.
"Good job Zoe baby, the first thing you have to do is to duck and watch out for that tree in front of you, it almost surprised me! The best thing you can do is to jump over them. Most of the trees are low so try to jump over them as high as you can!" Moby said.
"Got you Moby!" Zoe said when she jumped over the tree and did some backflips.
"Success!" Zoe said as she successfully jumped over the tree.
"Zoe, this is me, Alex, the next thing you have to watch out for is the cross point after 20 seconds of racing, if don't look out, you'll hit the giant trees that try to block the way for you." Alex said.
"Cross point huh? Does it matter what side I take?" Zoe asked her while boarding.
"Yes, the left side has trees only on the ground, the right side has trees that blocks the middle but not as much trees as the other side. I took the left side because you can easily jump over the trees, don't try and take them head on. Be careful." Alex said through the headset.
"Okay then, left side it is!" Zoe said as she went left.
"Zoe wait a second." Moby said.
"What is it Moby?" Zoe asked quickly
"Your deadly descent are the trees, isn't it wiser to take courses with as many trees as possible? Then you will know how to dodge them, from ground to middle to high." Moby suggested.
"Hmmm... You got a point there, alright then it's best to take the right side with the most trees." Zoe said as she went faster and instead of taking the left side, took a right passed the crossroads.
After a couple minutes of advice from Moby and Alex, she started to wonder what happened to Psymon. She then puts her headset on and tried to reach him.
"Psymon, where are you, I haven't heard anything from you?" Zoe asked.
"Boss lady, I'm already at the finish line, just waiting for feisty Britain and French fry." Psymon said.
"What did you say Psymon!" Moby said mad.
"I'm really starting to dislike Psymon." Alex said.
"Calm down you two, just joking you two, lighten up and laugh about it! Zoe, at the end of the course, there is a huge jump, and a tunnel before the jump. My advice is to take short ways and don't go too fast so that you don't trade blows with a tree. If you see a tunnel on your real event, take the tunnel, way less trees." Psymon said.
"Wow that was... actually pretty smart of you Psymon. Didn't know you can pull it off but, thanks?" Zoe said.
"Ooogaabogadalooloo!" Psymon shouted in her ear.
"Spoke to soon." Zoe said as she sighted while Moby turns his headset off from pure anger.
"Moby, Moby you there? Did he just turned his headset off? What with him lately?" Zoe asked confused.
Eventually after minutes of boarding, Zoe arrived at the finish line and stepped into the helicopter. She sat down and saw Moby, Alex and Psymon sitting.
"Good training guys, I already know what I'm going to do. Moby what's wrong, I couldn't reach you on your headset." Zoe said as she gave all of them a high five.
"It broke." Moby said sarcastic without Zoe knowing the he was.
"Let Atomika have a look at it, maybe he can fix it." Zoe told him
"Yeah... maybe mate." Moby said uninterested.
"But thanks you guys, I know exactly what I'm going to do at Mount Robsen, all your advice will be used greatly." Zoe said inspired.
Somewhere far, Griff was also in his own helicopter, overhearing Zoe's conversation with his headset.
"Hahaha, yes thank you Zoe. Thanks to you, I also know how to win the race. Good that I kept a close eye on you with my helicopter from the race till the finish line. I couldn't get used to the hazard, so your help was very useful." Griff said sneaky as he went back to the resort.
The City
Meanwhile, Mac, Elise, Ty and Kaori were in the city having a good time. They walked around and visited many sights around the area.
"You guys, let's go get something to eat, I'm hungry and my stomach is starting to growl." Mac requested.
"Yeah I'm hungry too, I am in the mood for a burger, I haven't had one is months." Kaori said when she felt her stomach.
"There is a Burger Queen right there, come on let's go get something to eat." Mac said when he and Ty ran away.
"Come on Elise." Kaori said but before she could go after them, Elise held her shoulder.
"Wait Kaori, this is a test to find out if Mac likes you. Usually at restaurants, boys will pay for everything, so if he wants to pay for you, then that's a small sign he likes you." Elise explained.
"I don't know, I rather pay myself. I don't feel comfortable doing something like this." Kaori let her know
"Kaori I know what I'm talking about, it's just this once, then you can do whatever you want. It's only to find out if he has the same feeling." Elise said to her.
"Fine, I'll play along. But I am not okay with this, just so you know." Kaori said as they both went after the boys.
They entered the Burger Queen and ordered their food.
"Hello, welcome to Burger Queen, may I take your order?" the cashier asked.
"Hmmm... I think I want a Slopper menu, with some Queen fries and a Moca cola." Mac said to the cashier.
"Very good sir." the cashier said as she rang the items up.
"And I'll have a double cheeseburger with hurricane fries and a diet coke." Ty said next.
"I'll just have some Queen fries and a diet coke. Have to watch my figure you know." Elise said.
"And I'll have a hamburger and some chicken nuggets." Kaori said.
"Okay that's... 21,95 dollars please." the cashsier said.
"Here you go." Mac said as he paid his part.
"Also, my cut, here you go ma'am." Ty said as he gave his part.
"Heres mine." Elise said when she gave her part
As everybody paid their half of the food, Kaori still hasn't as she looked for her money in her pocket, even though she just pretended to look for it.
"Oh no!" Kaori said worried.
"Kaori, what's wrong? Don't you have enough money." Mac asked.
"I... forgot my money at the resort. What can I do you guys?" Kaori asked
"But... how did you paid for the bus then?" Mac asked curious.
"Uhh... bus subscription?" Kaori hesitated a bit.
"Bus subscription but since when did..." Mac asked suspicious as the cashier interrupted him.
"Is everything alright, miss you still haven't paid." the cashier said.
"I'll pay for you Kaori, no problem. Good that I brought enough money, so here you go ma'am, this'll do." Mac said when he gave her the rest of the money.
Kaori smiled at Elise as Elise gave her a thumb up.
"Thank you sir, here is your receipt, enjoy your meal." the cashier said.
Mac and Ty grabbed the 4 meals and looked for a table for 4 people to sit. They sat down and ate their food.
"Kaori, I thought you had enough money with you, did you bought something?" Mac asked her.
"No I just didn't bring... enough." Kaori said as she gave Elise a small wink.
She then looked back at him as Mac took a bite from his burger.
"But dont worry, I will pay you back my half, I feel really bad that you had to pay for me, I rather pay myself." Kaori let him know.
"Don't worry about it..." Mac said as he took another bite which made him spill some sauce on his cheek.
However, Mac hasn't noticed anything.
"I don't mind paying, that's what friends are for, they will always help you out no matter what." Mac said sloppy.
Kaori grabbed a napkin from the table and folds in double.
"Yeah have to take it easy, you are spilling." Kaori said as she softly wipes the sauce of Mac's face.
"Thanks, I can be such a pig when I am hungry." Mac said grateful.
After they were done, they through their left overs away and left the restaurant.
"Wow, that food filled a hole!" Ty said as he laid back.
"It sure did, and ladies, how was your food? Was it any good?" Mac asked.
"It was good, right Kaori?" Elise said.
"Yes, it sure was, and thanks again Mac, you sure you don't want your money back?" Kaori said as she smiled.
"No really, it's okay, don't worry about it. I am just glad we all enjoyed. I have to say it has been really fun with you all, I missed hanging out with you Kaori, with all of you. Well Ty is new but he is a cool guy, you know what I mean." Mac said to his friends.
"I have to say dude, you guys not only made me feel like a part of the team, but as a friend too." Ty said happily.
"Thanks Ty, it's good to have you with us." Elise said to him.
The group started to explore the area again.
SSX Resort
Back at the resort, the helicopter arrived as they all stepped as they all stepped out and entered the building.
"Hey, where is everybody?" Moby asked.
"Hello guys." Tane said when he walked up to them.
"What's up Tane, where is everyone?" Zoe asked.
"Mac, Elise, Ty and Kaori went to the city, they must be somewhere close to the mall, I stayed behind to speak with my family and friend from Fuji." Tane said.
"Fine, when will they come back?" Zoe asked him.
"I honestly don't know, they left right before you did. But I think you might expect them soon enough." Tane said.
"Yeah they'll show up eventually, I'm going to take some rest. Everybody, you can do what you want to do." Zoe said when she walked away.
Moby and Psymon went to their room, while Alex wanted to take a shower and go to bed for some rest.
On the way to the Mall
Back in the city, the four riders decided to walk around the city some more until they found something fun to do. Mac and Ty walked behind while Elise and Kaori were up front.
"So Elise, what do you think we can do?" Kaori asked.
"I don't know, watch a movie maybe? Could be something fun for you, in the movie theater, all alone in the dark, you sitting next to Mac and..." Elise said teasing.
"Don't say it!" Kaori said nervous.
"Okay okay.. Kaori and Mac are sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N..." Elise said while singing it in a tune.
"Elise please stop, what if he hears you?" Kaori asked worried.
"Oh come one, Mac is that kind of guy that likes snuggling in the theater. I know him too you know." Elise said.
"Oh, I'm so embarrassed." Kaori said as she blushed again.
"I was kidding, don't worry, I can keep secrets hahaha." Elise said as they all passed a window with strippers seen dancing in the windows of a strip club. Mac and Ty stopped at the window while the ladies were still walking without them noticing it.
"Mac, Ty, what do you think we can do? Mac, Ty?" Elise asked as she looked behind her.
She saw Mac and Ty looking closely at the glass like perverts who were glued on it. The ladies then walked towards the boys and stood behind them with their arms crossed.
"There is something else you need to know, boys are pigs in front of these kind of woman. Don't lower yourself to this kind of level, it's too humiliating for words." Elise said as Kaori only had her eyes closed and looked furious, like a vein on her head was getting bigger and bigger.
"Come on baby, shake that groove thing hahaha!" Mac yelled perverted.
"Show us what you got, I ain't gonna to stop yah hehehe!" Ty said while he was laughing and high fived Mac.
Elise also closed her eyes but then Kaori slowly made her move with her fists clenched tightly.
"You take Ty, I'll take Mackenzie." Kaori said as she grabbed Mac by his ear and pulled him away from the window.
"Ouch, ouch, ouch just... five more minutes come on, she was looking good!" Mac yelled from the pain.
"Don't make me pull harder Mackenzie, come on!" Kaori said mad when she still pulled him away.
"Mackenzie? You only call me that when you're really angry at me!" Mac said hurt as he got pulled away.
"Wow, she's learning fast. But she also changed her attitude since the previous tournament, she actually gets angry. Who would have thought that Kaori got it in her?" Elise said when she looked surprised at her.
She also grabbed Ty's ear and pulled him away form the window.
"Ow Elise, let me go, you're hurting my ear!" Ty said.
"Come on Ty, stop drooling and come back to the real world!" Elise said as they all left the place.
A couple minutes later, they walked through the city again.
"Are you boys calm again?" Elise asked.
"Yeah sorry for that." Ty said.
"What about you Mac?" Elise asked.
Mac only looked around him, but the saw Kaori looking furious at him and backed away.
"Okay, okay, sorry. Don't look at me like that! The only times you called me Mackenzie was On Tour with Sid and all." Mac said scared.
"Good, but behave yourself alright." Kaori said strict.
"Yes, we are sorry." Mac and Ty said at the same time.
"Good, let's do one more thing before we go back to the resort." Elise said.
"I know something good." Mac said.
"I'm not going to that stupid strip club!" Kaori said.
"No, no not that. I know a place where they have an arcade, it's really cool, it's got games, consoles, simulations and everything an arcade needs to be whole. It's at the Chameleon Mall a few stores away from here. We should go there." Mac said.
"The arcade, I'm totally in for that. I always went to arcade in Japan, I always played Purachina Ken with my friends. I loved playing with Farang." Kaori said as her anger disappeared into a smile.
"Come on, it's this way." Mac said when he went the left way and walked toward the arcade.
The Fosters Arcade
After a couple minutes of walking through the mall, they finally arrived at the arcade.
"Here it is, Fosters Arcade hall, home of the best games you can play." Mac said.
"Looks fun, let's go in everybody." Ty said as they all went inside.
"Wow, look at this place, all those fun games." Kaori said when she ran up to an arcade machine.
She puts a quarter in the machine and started playing the arcade game Alley Fighter.
"Kaori... didn't you say that you had no money?" Mac asked suspicious.
"Found it on the ground on the way here, look, I beat D. Hyper! Take that with your stupid thunder boots!" Kaori said.
"Hmmm... makes sense, but that's Alley Fighter right." Mac said as he looked away for a second.
"Yeah, you want to play too? I'll put it on 2 players okay." Kaori said.
"Sure, let's go, I'll take Akira." Mac said.
"I'll take Ran Fah." Kaori said.
The two fought a couple matches, and after the matches were over, Kaori stood victorious over Mac.
"Ha, I won, I thought you said you were better Mac." Kaori said teasing.
"That damn Goryuken. It's not fair, where did you learn how to play this game, it didn't even come out yet." Mac said saddened and surprised.
"Well yeah, I play it all the time at home, I have this on the Gamestation in my room." Kaori said.
"You got a Gamestation and Alley Fighter both, that's the newest console, it didn't even come out worldwide, how did you get it so fast, Alley Fighter and the Gamestation are both supposed to come out in the next 3 months!" Mac asked.
"My dad made a deal, he's really good and negotiating, now I got Alley Fighter for myself. Cool huh." Kaori told him.
"Wow, you are the coolest... You mind if I come by sometimes and play with you?" Mac asked.
"I would loved to, after we are done with the competition, you can always visit me in Japan, or you can come with me if you want to." Kaori said happily.
"Well I got some important stuff to do, but for you, I'll definitely have a spot left in my schedule." Mac said happily.
After they were done, Mac and Kaori walked away from the machine.
"Where are the others?" Kaori asked while they were walking.
"Well, Ty is sitting right there playing a racing game, and Elise is right here snowboarding in a simulation. Coincidence? I think not." Mac said.
"Why don't we do something together again?" Mac asked
"Sure, why not, you can pick something if you like." Kaori suggested him.
"Uhhmm, look a basketball ring, come on." Mac said as he ran up to the guy who was hosting the game.
"Basketball? But I'm not..." Kaori said but he was already gone. "Okay Kaori, play along, come on girl just... play along." Kaori thought in her head.
"Kaori, come look at this!" Mac said as Kaori approached him.
"What is it?" Kaori asked.
Mac pointed at giant stuffed animals, the monkey, the dog and the wolf.
"Look what you can win, those big stuffed animals!" Mac said excited.
"Wow they are so cute, look at that dog, such a cute little face, and that monkey." Kaori said.
The host of the basketball game approached his new customers.
"Hello there sir and madam, on a date?" the host asked.
Both started to blush.
"No, no we are not on a date, we are just having some fun, really." Mac denied.
"Alright, I am sorry, anyways, I see that you have taken an interest in these animals, you can either win Bob the Monkey, Max the Dog or Spike the Wolf." the host said.
"No thanks, I am not good at basketball, I tried it once, and it's just not for me." Kaori said
"Kaori I can play basketball, I did it in high school. You want the dog, the monkey or the wolf?" Mac asked her
"Come on, I can't ask you to do that, you still payed for my food, you don't have to pay for that dog. Come on, let's find something else." Kaori said as she tried to walk away.
Mac held her shoulder and stopped her from walking away.
"Kaori, I am getting you that dog for you, I just want to do something special for you. We haven't seen each other in a long time, and I missed hanging out with you. So stop thinking so negatively, I am okay with everything that happened. Drop your restrictions and have fun alright." Mac explained her.
Kaori smiled and stepped up. She stood next to Mac and looked at the basketball game.
"You are right, good luck, I hope you win." Kaori said to encourage him
"Yeah, just watch me." Mac said confident as he paid the host.
"Thank you sir, you have three chances, if you at least hit one, then you win!" the host said.
Mac concentrated as he tried to throw he ball into the next, but with no success, he missed the ball.
"Damn! I missed, alright 2 more chances" Mac said disappointed.
"Don't worry, you'll pull through, you always did." Kaori said as she handed Mac another ball
He tried it again and threw the ball, but missed the second shot.
"No, come on! Come on!" Mac said mad.
"Think about your aim." Kaori said as he got an idea.
"My... aim? That's it, thanks Kaori, I know what to do." Mac said as he gave her a pat on the shoulder and took some steps back and lowers his elbow a bit for a better shit.
"But that's not what I mean? You're only making it harder for yourself." Kaori said worried.
But when Mac saw the ring, he could aim better then when he was in front of it and a better aimed sight with his elbow lowered down. When he threw the ball, he hit a complete swish and won the prize
"Congratulations sir, you win Max the Dog, take good care of him." the host said happily.
"Yeah I won!" Mac yelled from happiness.
"Wow good job, I knew you could do it!" Kaori said.
The host gave him the prize stuffed dog as Mac accepted the prize. He then held the dog I front of Kaori.
"Here you go, stuffed doggy for Kaori Nishidake, from Mac Fraser." Mac said gentle.
"For me? But you deserve it, you made that shot." Kaori asked surprised.
"Nah, because of your tip, I made that shot. Plus, I already said that I was going to win that for you. Here, take it, it's all yours." Mac said happy.
"Wow/ thank you so much Mac, I really love it!" Kaori said when she gave him a kiss on the cheek and Mac fell down while blushing a bit.
"Oh my god, you okay?" Kaori asked when she looked at him while he was on the ground.
He quickly stood up and tried not to hesitate nervously.
"Yeah I uhh... I uhh... Look there are Ty and Elise." Mac said when he pointed to the left.
"Hey guys, what's going on here?" Elise asked.
"Mac won this stuffed dog for me, his name is Max, isn't he cute?" Kaori asked.
"Mac, that's pretty nice of you to do. What's the occasion?" Else asked suspicious.
"Oh nothing, just I wanted to do something nice you know, make people happy." Mac said.
"Well it sure worked out." Kaori said.
"Uh-huh, yeah right." Elise said as she looked at a happy Kaori.
"I did!" Mac said worried.
"A-hah, I see what you did there man, good job dude." Ty said.
"Thanks you guys, come on it's getting late. Let's go home." Mac said when they all left the arcade and went back to the resort.
