G: Okay. I am so sorry. I meant to update this along with the other one, but I had to leave right after I posted it so this one will be the double update.

Set: where is everyone else?

Jono: Yeah.

G: Well since this is your story you are the people I will be talking to in the author's note. Atem might make an appearance but that's really it.

Jono: So it's just me, you and Set?

G: Yep, for the next few chapters.

Jono: Awesome!

Set: *rolls eyes* G does not own YuGiOh or the characters. All she own is Jonihn and the plot and the name Mota.

G: Mota is Mokuba of the Egyptian past. If there is already one I couldn't find one so I came up with one.

Jono: Enjoy!

Pairings: . In Reality: Yamis/Hikaris, Jono/Set Joey/Seto (eventually), Duke/Tristan (eventually). In Agent Egypt: Atem/Jonihn (OC), Jono/Set.

Chapter 4 – Jono and Set's Story Part 1

When Jono awoke, he was moving. At first he thought it was just his dad shaking him awake so he would make dinner. There was only one problem with that theory, there was no yelling. Opening his eyes, he realized that he was no longer lying underneath his tree, heck he wasn't even at the market anymore. He was on a horse, in a place he didn't know, going to a place he didn't know. To say he was freaking out would be an understatement

"Hey calm down would you. If you don't stop squirming you'll fall of the damn horse."

With that, Jono froze, just realizing that there was someone else on the horse, behind him, holding him, another man. When that sank in, he resumed his struggling.

"Let go a me ya big jerk. What da heck r ya doin'. Let me go!"

But the Mysterious man didn't listen and kept on riding, "Shut your mouth, Dear Ra. It's not like I'm going to hurt you, not like whoever gave you those bruises."

Jono didn't freeze this time but he did stop struggling. 'He saw them. I can't believe he saw them' Jono thought as he said "Why do ya care what happens ta me. Ya don' even now me."

"I don't care," the man replied snarkily, "My cousin would never let me hear the end of it if he found out I found you in this condition and didn't do anything. Heck, he'd have my head."

Jono snorted, "I don' need yur help or yur cousins so let me off and i'll be on ma way" Looking around he asked, "Where r ya takin me anyway?"

"To see my cousin and his wife, they will help you."

Jono frowned, "I said I didn' need yur cousins help. I don' wan it"

"Well you see, you can't really say no to my cousin, no matter how hard much you want to. Trust me, I've been trying since we were kids."

Jono tried to come up with something to say: but he was too tired. He drifted off, waking a few minutes later to see where they were headed.

"What in da name of Osiris r we doin' at the palace?"

The man didn't answer. He just rode his horse to the stables and helped Jono off the horse. As he did, Jono get his first real look at the man. He was taller than Jono with chocolate brown hair peeking out from underneath the dumbest looking hat the blond had ever seen. His eyes were a deep, piercing, sapphire blue that seemed so cold, like a barrier of ice was surrounding them.

After leading the blonde inside, the brunet turned to the knights who had accompanied him, telling them to give his cousin what they had bought at his request. They nodded and walked away.

The blue-eyed man then turned to Jono, "Follow me," the tone of his voice clearly showing that it was not a request but a demand.

"No"

The man stopped and turned back, his eyes hard. He was not used to not being listened to. "And why not?"

"'Cause I don' know who da heck ya r. da only reason I have even come dis far is because at first I was on a horse, and then you had those two giants with you. Now that you've sent dem away, I ain't goin' anywhere with ya until I at least know yur name."

For a moment, the brunet was shocked at the blond's attitude, but then he smirked, "My name is Set, and yours?"

"Jono. Now where da heck r we goin'?"

"To my chambers. My cousin will meet us there." Jono nodded and followed Set as he led the way. A few minutes later, they arrived at Set's chambers. When they entered, Jono saw that everything in the room was of the highest quality, from the bed sheets to the medicine in the open cabinet.

"Okay, who da heck r ya? Da truth dis time."

Set rolled his eyes, opening his mouth to tell the blond, but before he could say anything, a tri-colored –haired man entered the room.

"Cousin, you called for me?" the new man asked.

"Yes Atem. I'd like you to meet Jono. I found him sleeping under a tree near the market place. As you can clearly see he's been beaten, and more than once."

Atem smirked, "Yes I can see that cousin, but why bring him here?"

Set sighed," Because if I hadn't, you would have found out somehow that I had gone up to that hill, pestered me until I told you why and what I found. Then you would have pouted and been angry with me for not doing anything. So to save us all the trouble and me the headache I just brought him here.'

"So you bought him here to avoid me getting mad at you?" Atem asked, raising an eyebrow, knowing his cousin was only telling him half the truth.

Set nodded. Jono shook his head his eyes returning to their normal size after widening with recognition at the tri-colored man who had entered the room. "Wait, yu'r da pharaoh?" turning to Set he said, "But that would mean dat ya r…?

"Priest Set, Cousin of the Pharaoh, Priest of Set, holder of the Millennium Rod, and the man you've been really rude to since you woke up."

Jono frowned, narrowing his eyes, "well ya would do da same ding if ya woke up afta bein' kidnapped!"

"Wait," Atem interrupted, "he was asleep when you brought him here?"

"No he was asleep until about ten minutes before we got here and I didn't tell him where we were going when he woke up."

Atem's eyes widened, "you kidnapped him! Oh my Ra, I am so sorry Jono. Come with me, I'll get you away from this moron." And with that, Atem grabbed Jono's arm and dragged him out of Set's chambers.

"Where are ya takin' me?"

"To the kitchens, you look starved."

As if to confirm his statement, Jono's stomach grumbled, making the two of them laugh.

When they reached the kitchen, there was already someone there.

"Hello Jonihn, my dear."

Hearing that, the person turned around, letting Jono see that it was a girl. When she stood, Jono saw the similarities and differences between the two. They both had gravity defying hair, shaped like a star, the black outlined in magenta with blond streaks shooting up. Their eyes were the same shape, they were the same height and their posture was nearly identical.

Other than the obvious male/female thing, the only differences in their appearances were that the girl had blond hair going past her shoulders, and her eyes were an emerald green while Atem's were a crimson ruby red.

"Hello Atem. Who is this?"

Atem introduced the two and explained the situation to Jonihn. When he was finish, Jonihn gave him a 'you've got to be kidding me look' while she asked," So Set kidnapped Jono and brought him here so you wouldn't get mad at him." Atem nodded. "That guy is nuts," the green-eyed girl continued, rolling her eyes. "I mean come on, you two are both older than me but you act like five year olds."

Turning to Jono the said, "You will eat then come with me, I want you in proper clothing instead of those rags, and, fortunately for you, I don't trust my husband. Despite his and Set's look of maturity, their just big babies. I'd trust your safety more with a horse."

"Hey!"

"See what I mean?" she asked, Jono nodded, sitting down to eat, asking," So you're the Queen?"

The girl nodded. With that, Jono ate. When he was done, Jonihn brought him to the healer, Isis, who held the millennium necklace, and then to the tailor to get him some real clothes.

When she was done spoiling Jono, they went back to Set's chamber's, where they found Atem and Set glaring at each other.

"What happened this time?" Jonihn asked, shaking her head. When they both started talking at once, Jono fully understood what Jonihn had meant by childish.

"Okay, QUIET!" she yelled, "I don't care anymore. Now Set, Jono and Atem have told me what happened. I understand why you did what you did, but it's still kidnapping. But I refuse to let him go back to where he's being hurt so I'm making him your responsibility Set."

Set frowned," I am not serving someone of a lower status."

"I never said you had to. Jono will be your personal servant…"

"What!"

"… but you will treat him with the same respect you treat my other friends with, because If I hear otherwise, well let's say you won't like what happens." Set looked a little scared...

The 'what!' was from Jono. He couldn't believe this. It was completely ridiculous. "Hold on. I ain't no one's servant."

Atem looked at him, "Well you are now. Since my wife won't let you leave and you are not of high status, the only way you can remain here is to serve someone, and as my wife said, you are Set's responsibility.'

Both Set and Jono weren't happy, but they accepted it. Jono because of how nice the royals had been to him since he had gotten there and Set accepted because his cousin was siding with the Queen and he knew arguing would be pointless.

That was how Jono ended up working for Set, but because they were both incredibly stubborn, they ended up arguing a lot. Jono only talked back to annoy Set, the work wasn't really all that bad. Mostly all he had to do was run baths, make sure his clothes got to the maids to be cleaned, making sure he had what he needed to get his work done and making sure he ate. The last two were what kept him the busiest. Set never seemed to stop working, and even more rarely got himself any food. Jono was constantly running back and forth, getting scrolls, ink, food and delivering messages.

But Set never over worked the blonde. Every day, he set aside at least two hours for Jono. For the first two weeks, they mostly used that time working on Jono's speech.

"If you're going to be working for and with me you will need to speak properly," Set had told him when they had had their first lesson. Jono hadn't been happy about the criticism to his speech at the time, but was grateful by the end, noticing that it helped people understand him better. He was grateful to Set.

When the speech lessons were done, they used that time to get to know each other. They talked about Jono's dad abusing him, and about their siblings. Jono told Set about his mom leaving, taking his little sister with her and abandoning Jono with his father. Set told Jono about his younger brother, Mota, and two days later, he met him.

Mota was the biggest ball of energy Jono had every met. His hair made him look like a bouncing fluff ball, and his gray eyes sparkled with childlike enthusiasm. Jono could see how much Set loved his little brother just by looking in his eyes. When he saw that, Jono felt a strange feeling in his chest.

Three days later, Mota introduced the blonde to one of the other servants, who was his friend. That's how Jono was reunited with his little sister. That night they talked, they laughed, they cried and they shared the storied of how they each had gotten there.

For the first time in a long time, Jono was happy. He was surrounded by people who cared about him. There was just one thing; Jono had fallen in love with Set. By the end of two months, Jono was head over heels for the blue-eyed priest, and it hurt because he knew that as long as he was Set's servant, the priest would not see him as anything more.

So one day when Set told him that he would be accompanying him on the annual structural inspections of the temples, Jono prayed that night for something to happen. Something to make Set finally see him as something more than a second class servant. He prayed to Osiris for this with all his heart. And his prayer was answered, just not in the way Jono was expecting.

G: Okay that's part one, next is part two
