Disclaimer: I do not owe 2012 and 2003 teenage mutant ninja turtles.
A/N: I use the 2003 turtles full names for example: Leonardo, while for the 2012 turtles I'll use their short names for example: Leo.
A/N 2: inspired by Zelgadis55 since I read one of your Tmnt story called "One to Grow On".
A/N 3: Also I'm starting my own ocs Ninja turtles and they would have AU at the end of their names for example: Leo AU.
Only when they interact with each other.
In The AU Universe
The next morning Leo from this dimension woke up early, stretching his limbs, and looked at his digital clock that's read 3:30 a.m. Leo looked around his mostly emptied room, since he only have a hammock, a digital clock, and his yumi (long bow) that's leaning against the wall. Leo got up with a sigh since he knows that he won't be able to fall asleep again.
Leo made himself tea, and at 5:30 a.m, made breakfast for everyone even the new turtles. Don Au was the second to get up and walked in the kitchen to get coffee. "Morning Donatello, how did you sleep?" Asked Leo while Don Au have his back to Leo but quickly turned to face Leo and glared at him.
"I didn't sleep, you know why, it's because of those other turtles, that I'm trying to built a machine that can send them back to their dimension and leave us alone, but no because every time I tried to build one, it blow up in my face." Yelled Don Au taking his frustration out on Leo.
"Can you calm down Donnie?" Asked Raph Au entering the kitchen with Raphael following behind him, looking shocked.
"Wow, that's a shocker, Raphie telling someone else to calm down." Said Michelangelo while coming into the kitchen with Mikey Au quietly following Michelangelo. As Mikey Au was going to sit by Leo, Don Au took the seat while sipping on his coffee and glaring at Mikey Au which Raphael noticed.
Everyone took their seats since they put some more chairs by the tables for the other turtles. When it was 5:45 a.m, Master Splinter appeared and slowly walked to his chair at the end of the table and start to eat his own breakfast. All the turtles was finished eating and the 2003 turtles stood up but noticed that Leo was shaking his head. The three turtles looked confused but Master Splinter looked up at them with a glare in his eyes.
"You three sit back down, this instance." Said Master Splinter with anger in his voice and the turtles looked at each other and slowly sat back down and wait quietly for Master Splinter to be done eating. When it hit 6:00 a.m, Master Splinter stood up and pointed to Raph Au to clean the dishes which he obeyed without getting into a fight and started to gather the dishes.
Master Splinter left the kitchen and goes to the dojo with the others (except Raph Au since he is washing the dishes) following him to the dojo and standing in a straight line with arms to their sides except the 2003 turtles since they only stood in a line but copied the Au turtles, so they wouldn't get yelled at again by Master Splinter.
"Today, you'll be practicing in pairs, since Raph Au won't be joining us. Raphael vs. my ninja Donatello, my ninja Leo vs. Michelangelo, and Donatello vs. my ninja Michelangelo, begin." Said Master Splinter making his way to a mat to sat down at to watch the match as they all went to their assigned partners and pulled out their weapons facing each other and bowing to each other.
The practice starts with Leo aiming at Michelangelo and firing arrow after arrow at Michelangelo, making Michelangelo eyes widened as he just noticed that he have a bow instead of katanas but quickly dodged them, not sure what else to do. Raphael stopped his match as he was also shocked that this Leo have a long bow instead of his katanas, which Don Au used this moment to swipe Raphael feet from under him, making him fall on his shell. Don Au then pointed his bo staff in Raphael face and helping Raphael up on his feet.
"My ninja Donatello wins against Raphael." Said Master Splinter while turning his attention to Mikey Au and Donatello, which fortunately Donatello wasn't shocked about Leo but instead focussing on the practice.
Mikey Au dodged the moves of Donatello bo staff and swung both of his nunchucks around Donatello bo staff. It was a bad move as Donatello spun his bo staff around with the nunchucks attached to it, making Mikey Au hit the ground as he was still holding it but let go when he hit the ground.
"Donatello wins against my ninja Michelangelo." Said Master Splinter finally turning his attention back to Leo and Michelangelo, who had dodged another arrow, or so he thought as that arrow bounced off something and hit Michelangelo in the leg, making him lose his balance, falling on his face. Leo helped him to his feet and they all turned to Master Splinter as he stood up from his mat.
"My ninja Leonardo wins against Michelangelo, you are dismiss." Said Master Splinter existing the dojo with the others slowly following him, Michelangelo stayed behind, looking sad at the back of this Leo shell where the long bow is resting. Donatello noticed his baby brother was not following them and turned to face Michelangelo while the others keep walking without noticing them except Raphael but he left them be.
"Hey, Mikey, what's wrong?" Asked Donatello putting a hand on Michelangelo shoulder, which made Michelangelo looked up at him with tears in his eyes.
"Donnie, since we got here, we never properly mourn over Leo." Said Michelangelo as Donatello removed his hand off of Michelangelo shoulder only to pull him into a hug, which Michelangelo let his tears fall on Donatello shoulder.
"Don't worry, Mikey, we'll get through this but it might take some time." Said Donatello pulling away from the hug to wiped some of Michelangelo tears away.
"But how, when he is gone forever." Said Michelangelo as his tears almost dried up but Donatello gave him a look and shook his head.
"Don't you see, he'll always be in our hearts and we will never replace him." Said Donatello while touching where Michelangelo heart is.
"Dude, now your sounding cheesy." Said Michelangelo smiling a little with his tears now dried up but Donatello gently pushed him while smiling too.
"Oh, shut up" said Donatello jokingly while smiling at Michelangelo.
"Do you think, he's in a better place." Said Michelangelo while starting to look sad again.
"Yes, I know he is." Said Donatello while Michelangelo smiled a little more then when he last smiled and Donatello put one of his arm over Michelangelo shoulders and walked out of the dojo with him
In 2003 Universe
"So activate the machine already." Said the Shredder while the same scientist gulped and immediately turned on the device which the machine starts to glow blue and only the Shredder laughter could be heard.
