As Nagato sprinted home three thoughts has entered his mind. Nagisa was hurt, sick, or both. He ran past every house until he reached his own. He opened the door and ran past the bakery and into Nagisa's room. She was there resting with a wet cloth on her head. Akio walked up behind his hand on Nagato's shoulder.
"She fainted while she out with that Okazaki boy, lucky he was with her the whole time or we might not have been able to get her home."
"What was she doing out in the rain in the first place?!" Nagato yelled, he then looked over at his sister to make sure he did not wake her up.
"The Okazaki boy said she wanted to play Basketball with him." Akio said trying to reassure his son. Nagato walked over next to his sister and asked.
"When are we going to tell her why this happens?" Nagato gave him a stern look. Akio sighed.
"When the time is right, I'll tell her." Akio said taking the unlit cigarette out of his mouth.
"If you don't tell her, then I will." Nagato threatened, he then put his hand on his sisters head to check her temperature. "I'm staying here tonight. Better yet, I'll stay here until she is better." Akio just stared at his son.
"It's not my fault I'm over protective of my sister." Nagato growled. Akio, not wanting to fight his son just sighed and walked away. "Wake up soon okay?" Nagato asked his sleeping sister before falling asleep himself.
/Otouto/
The next day came, and Nagato woke up with a blanket around him.
"Mom..." Nagato muttered. He looked over to see Nagisa was still asleep. Just then Sanae walked into Nagisa's room and said.
"Naga-kun, I think Okazaki is out in the bakery, lets go see him." Nagato got up and folded the blanket. The two walked into the bakery to see Tomoya and Akio arguing about something.
"Mr. Okazaki." Sanae started. "You wouldn't be here to see Nagisa would you?"
"Yeah, I heard she was sick in bed." Nagato walked in and stood next to Sanae and said.
"She just has a slight fever, not a big deal." Nagato looked like he had a hard time believing it himself.
"Nagisa has never been a strong child. She missed a lot of school because of it." Sanae finished.
"Is that right." Tomoya asked.
"Yes, and thank you for bringing her home, because of you she'll be alright." Akio said with praise.
"It's no problem." Tomoya replied. Akio held out a bag to Tomoya.
"Here's a bag of Sanae's pastries. Take them."
"I don't think I should take them." Tomoya replied.
"I don't think he wants a thank you present." Nagato added.
"Nagato you know as well as I do that these pastries won't se- ugh!" Sanae looked like she was about to cry.
"My pastries... aren't going to sell!" Sanae yelled running out of the store. Akio then grabbed a bunch off bread and put in his mouth, and chased her screaming.
"I love them Sanae!" Nagato walked over to Tomoya and smiled.
"That went well." Tomoya quietly laughed to himself.
"Um excuse me." A voice called. "Are the owners in?"
"Ah, Ms. Ibuki, no my parents are not in right now." Nagato replied.
"Oh I see, okay then." Ms Ibuki said. Tomoya looked at the bag he was holding and then held it out to her.
"You can have this."
"Are you sure?" Ms. Ibuki asked Tomoya.
"Yeah I'm sure, It's not a problem, I got these free of charge." Ms. Ibuki smiled.
"Well, okay. If you insist." She took the bag of bread and left the store.
"You wanted to see my sister right?" Nagato asked. "Well she's resting right now, so now might not be the best time. I suggest you wait until she's back in school to see her." Tomoya raised an eyebrow but the shrugged.
"Alright, whatever you say." Tomoya turned and walked out of the bakery, not before saying. "See you in school." Nagato smiled and said.
"Take care of Sunohara for me." Once Tomoya left Nagato went back to his sisters room to see her awake. "Ah Onee-chan." Nagato said sitting down next to Nagisa.
"Oh, Hello Naga-kun. How are you?" Nagato laughed.
"The better question is, how are you doing Onee-chan?" Nagato asked grinning.
"Ehehe, I'm fine Otouto." Nagisa sat up to look at Nagato.
"Well I'm glad you're feeling better, looking better too." Nagato paused. "How is your fever?" He put a hand on Nagisa's forehead. "It looks like your fever broke, that's good."
"Naga-kun you don't have to keep doting on me." Nagisa said talking his hand off her head.
"Doting? I'm not doting?" Nagato said crossing his arms.
"Did Okazaki bring me here?" Nagisa asked.
"Yeah, he was asking for you too, but I sent him off, I didn't know if you were up to seeing him."
"Oh." Nagisa slightly frowned.
"I told him you'd see him when you got back to school." Nagato said with a thumbs up.
"Oh okay then, that's good." Nagisa laid back down.
"I'll go tell Mom you are awake." Nagato said getting up and going to get Sanae.
/Otouto/
After being convinced to by both Sanae and Nagisa, Nagato made it home to his dorm. Nagisa was told she was well enough to go to school, Nagato took that as the okay to go back to his dorm. As he was passing through the hallway he stopped at the sound of Sunohara screaming.
"It's the legendary Yusuke Yoshino!" Nagato opened Sunohara's dorm and asked.
"What's this about Yusuke Yoshino?"
"Okazaki apparently met him." Sunohara wined.
"So you know this guy?" Tomoya asked giving his full attention.
"He used to be some wise word musician before he just disappeared." Nagato answered taking a seat under the kotatsu. The cat then jumped and sat in his lap.
"Really?" Tomoya asked.
"But I never thought he'd be in a dinky place like this." Sunohara said turning around and looking in his shelves for something.
"Anything can happen." Nagato said petting the cat.
"My younger sister made me a tape with his music on it, listen to this."
"Wait a minute? You have a younger sister?" Tomoya asked with a shocked expression.
"Yeah I've seen her once, she's pretty cute, in a kid way, she's only in middle school." Nagato then put the cat back on the kotatsu. Tomoya raised an eyebrow at this.
"Heh, she probably looks like this!" Tomoya made a face that scared the cat and caused him to jump right back into Nagato's lap. Sunohara then turned on the radio and started to play Yoshino's music. After listening to a few songs, Nagato decided to change the subject.
"So how are you going to prove to Tomoyo that guys are better than girls?" Sunohara was about to answer before getting interrupted by Nagato. "Without getting your butt kicked." Sunohara went silent. "Maybe you should try to get to know here before you do something stupid." Nagato said pointing at him. Nagato then leaned over while Sunohara was distracted and said.
"Thanks for helping my sister."
"No problem." Tomoya replied. Soon after the three went there separate ways.
"Naga-kun it's time to wake up." Nagisa said opening the blinds in his room.
"Ugh... Okay." Nagato sat up and got out of bed.
"I made you a bento." Nagisa said handing her brother that said bento.
"Thanks Onee-chan." Nagato then got dressed and the two went on there way.
/Otouto/
"Okay, I'll see you after class."
"Okay Onee-chan, see ya." The Furukawa siblings split off and went different ways. Nagato decided to go to the cafeteria to buy some breakfast. On the way there he bumped into and knocked over a short long haired girl.
"Oh, sorry about that." Nagato said holding out his hand to help her up.
"Oh why thank you." The girl said taking his hand.
"I don't think we have met, I'm Nagato Furukawa, third year."
"I am Yukine Miyazawa, It's a pleasure." She bowed.
"Let me buy you a drink, to apologize." Nagato said motioning towards the cafeteria. She nodded and followed. The two walked over to the near by drink machine and Nagato bought two juices, he handed one over to Yukine and made a cheers motion.
"Thank you very much." Yukine replied.
"It's no problem." Nagato smiled.
If you ever have the time, come by the old library. We can talk more there." Yukine said throwing away her cup.
"Sure, I'll do that." And on that note Yukine went on her way. "What did I come here for again?" Nagato shrugged and went back to his classroom.

The day went on as normal. Lunch time has arrived and Sunohara has yet to show up. Tomoya and Nagato went different ways. As Nagato was walking through the halls, he felt a tug on his sleeve.
"Huh?" Nagato turned around to see that girl from yesterday. "Oh It's you." Nagato said happily.
"Fuko wants her knife back."
"Fuko?" Nagato questioned. "Is that your name?"
"Yes that is Fuko's name, weird guy." Nagato raised an eyebrow at that name.
"Instead of asking me my name you call me weird guy?" Nagato shrugged. "And to think I went out of my way to fix your blade." Nagato added pulling out Fuko's knife. Fuko's eyes widened.
"Oh well." Nagato turned and walked away, Fuko followed shortly behind. Soon enough the two ended in the courtyard. But they were not alone.
"Hey Naga-kun." Nagisa said standing up. Nagato waved to his sister and looked over at the other person.
"Okazaki." Nagato greeted.
"Yo." Tomoya replied. "Who's the girl?" Tomoya asked pointing to Fuko.
"Fuko wants her knife back."Fuko said getting angry. Nagato sighed.
"How's your hand?" He asked.
"It's fine!"
"Alright then shake." The two the shook hands, Fuko winced in response. "See it, still hurts."
"No It doesn't..." Fuko cried. Tomoya got up and walked over to the two.
"Come on high five." Tomoya said raising his hand up, she looked confused. "You know like in Basketball."
"I know that!" Fuko's face lit up. She then started dribbling a pretend ball, and shot it in. "I did it!" Tomoya made a confused face but then shrugged it off.
"Alright good job!" Tomoya said, the two then highfived and Fuko grabbed her hand in pain.
"You didn't need to do that." Nagato reprimanded.
"Hmph." Tomoya huffed.
"Anyway here." Nagato handed Fuko the knife. "I tried to fix it the best I could." Fuko examined the knife, as if not believing his words.
"Thank you very much." Fuko praised.
"Oh and by the way, my name is Nagato, Nagato Furukawa." Fuko nodded and went on her way. "Now you two." Nagato started. "I think I know where we can start with the Drama Club."
/Otouto/
"This is the old Library." Nagato said walking into the said room. "Maybe we could find some old Drama stuff here." They all started looking through the shelves. Nagisa went to look at the old tapes, but Nagato stopped her.
"I don't think we need tapes yet." Nagato said putting the tape back.
"Oh okay?" Nagisa said confused.
"Maybe we can find a how to book or something." Tomoya suggested.
"Do you need any help?" A female voice asked.
"Ah, Miyazawa-san, welcome." Nagato said with a wave.
"Would you three like something to drink?" Yukine asked.
"How about a cup of coffee?" Tomoya asked. Nagisa face lit up.
"I love coffee!" Nagisa added.
"Coming right up. What about you Furukawa-kun?"
"Do you have tea?"
"Yes I do." Yukine went ahead and poured the drinks. The three then took a seat at the table. Yukine handed the three there drinks.
"I'm Yukine Miyazawa. What are your names?"
"I'm Tomoya Okazaki."
"And I'm Nagisa Furukawa." Yukine bowed.
"It's nice to meet you two. So you must be Nagato's sister?" Yukine asked.
"Yep, I'm his older sister." Nagisa smiled.
"Well it's nice to meet you all."

"So I'll see you two later, If you need anything just give me a call." Nagato waved off Nagisa and Tomoya and they left the school. After walking home and showering, Nagato sat down and continued reading his manga. Shortly after Misae knocked on his door and opened it.
"You have a phone call from your sister." Nagato got up and walked to the other room to answer the phone.
"Hello?" Nagato asked. It was quiet for a few seconds before Nagisa replied.
"They took down the posters Naga-kun."
Nagato Is very protective of his sister huh. He won't admit it but still. I know this chapter is WAAAAAAY overdue, but I've been busy trying to get a job, which should be easy for a High School graduate, but It's not. I also am writing another story which takes time out of my life to write that too. I ALSO decided that every 5 chapters It's going to go off cannon for one chapter so It does not seem like I'm following the story word for word. So yeah, leave a review or follow if you want, and I'll try to post a new chapter as soon as possible. -Devster77
