Three Months Later

She dearly missed his scent, his touch - she dearly missed him. He wasn't gone that long, just a week but it seemed so much longer. He was off attempting to convince the Winchesters to accept their roles as the vessels of Michael and Lucifer - Gabriel was unsuccessful and returned in a foul mood. His mood always improved when he caught sight of Danielle.

Gabriel could tell that their son is beginning to wear on her. She's sitting in his lap as he absent-mindedly rubs her round stomach - she's well into her fifth month. Her breathing is calm and steady against his neck. He smiles as he feels their baby move inside her and Danielle stirs awake from her nap her hand meeting his.

"Hey, sleepy head" he whispered as she slowly opened her eyes. She just smiled at him as he stroked her cheek.

He titled her head up as their lips met and a spark of pleasure ran through them. She could never get used to it. They continued kissing as their eyes drifted close. She gasped as their son kicked hard and opens her eyes.

"He can feel it too" he whispers rubbing her belly tenderly. She simply smiles back "he wants his mama to be happy."

"She is" she whispers closing her eyes once more as their lips meet. Her hand finds Gabriel's auburn hair and she runs her fingers through his soft locks.

His eyes drift off as he looks at nothing inparticular.

The first time he had noticed her he was still Gods messenger and still resided in Heaven. He was preparing to leave to deliver one of his Fathers messenges to Earth when he felt a strong tug as if someone was pulling his Grace. He searched all of Earth until he found her. She was just a newborn with flaming red hair and blue eyes.

"Aderyn" he heard the mother whisper, as she rocked her new daughter.

From that point on he made sure to remember that name - Aderyn.

"Darling?" Danielle whispered as Gabriel came out of his trance.

"Yes," he responds blinking his eyes "oh, sorry" he looks down at her and she is smiling sweetly at him.
