10 years later

Laughter rang through the woods surrounding the small wizarding village of Rowena's Glen. Artemis and her two friends Julia and Alex ran through the forest each trying to get back to Artemis's house first.

"I'm going to win!" Artemis shouted back to Julia and Alex

"No you're not! Remember the rules are no shifting I'm going to win!" Alex declared

"I'm not going to shift! I'll win fine without doing that." Said Artemis

"You two are just so competitive." Said Julia as she rolled her eyes

As the got closer to the house Alex ran out in front and collapsed on the back porch grinning at Artemis and Julia.

"See I told you I would win."

"Yeah, well I'll win next time so don't get used to it." replied Artemis

Julia just shook her head and walked in to the house and Artemis and Alex followed. Prince got the three of them something to eat before they went into the living room. A few hours later Alex and Julia went home and Artemis went up to clean her room before Kingsley got back from the Ministry.

A lot had happened in the last 10 years. A few months after the will reading Kingsley moved with Artemis and Prince to the small wizarding village of Rowena's Glen up in Scotland. It was an all wizard community which also had its own small school for the children there that was perfect for when Artemis was older. The first few years were challenging for Kingsley. He decided to continue to work as an Auror; Amelia Bones became the new Minister. Prince would watch Artemis while he worked as she was still shifting back and forth. Around the time Artemis was 5 she seemed to figure out how to control her shifting. She only seemed to like making her eyes yellow when she was mad, which was easy for Kingsley to say that it was caused by her metamorphmagus abilities. Kingsley enrolled her in the school and Artemis fit right in. There she met Julia and Alex and they became the best of friends. As the years went by Artemis became obsessed with reading everything she could. Kingsley had to set a room in their house just with all the books that both of them read.

When Artemis was old enough to understand the war Kingsley explained it to her along with telling her about her parents. Kingsley still isn't too sure how she feels about them but she accepted that she has a brother; Artemis said she always felt like something was missing. A year ago Alex and Julia accidently came upon Artemis in the woods surrounding the village when she was practicing her shifting. Artemis freaked out and the two friends went to Kingsley and he explained everything. Kingsley was very glad that both Julia and Alex still considered Artemis there friend. This secret between them seemed to make their friendship even stronger and they began to explore the woods looking for different creatures. Kingsley swore that all three of them would be Ravenclaws with all the books they've read.

As Artemis cleaned her room she was very excited for Kingsley to get home tonight. Ever since she was eight and started to pull pranks on Kingsley or Prince with her magic, Kingsley had decided to teach Artemis some basics with an old wand he had acquired as he did not want her to have her own wand till she went to Hogwarts. So of course Artemis took it upon herself to then teach Alex and Julia what she had learned. Artemis always looked forward to these lessons although Kingsley had told her that he wasn't going to show her things she'd learn at Hogwarts just yet.

Very soon Artemis heard the crack of apparition and ran down stairs into the kitchen just as Kingsley walked through the door.

"Hi Kingsley! How was your day?" asked Artemis

"It was actually rather boring. Not much to do today besides paperwork." Replied Kingsley

Artemis laughed she knew how much Kingsley loathed paper work. Kingsley prepared dinner and when it was ready they sat down to eat.

"Artemis your eleventh birthday is soon any ideas to what you would like?" asked Kingsley

Artemis stopped eating and stared up at Kingsley.

"Well I have been thinking of something for a while and it makes sense with my going to Hogwarts in the fall and everything so I was wondering if I could meet Teddy."

As Artemis finished she glanced up at Kingsley hopefully. Kingsley smiled back.

"I think we can do that. If you're ready?"

"I think I am. I mean it would be weird to go to Hogwarts knowing that my twin is also there and him not know."

"Then I'll talk to Harry at work soon. I believe Teddy is staying there at the moment as Harry likes to give Andromeda a break from time to time."

Artemis grew quiet all of a sudden at this. Realizing she had almost forgotten something.

"I'd also like to meet my Grandmother."

"Of course. Your mother actually left her a letter. I'll contact Andromeda soon as well."

Artemis smiled and nodded then went back to her dinner as did Kingsley. Artemis didn't stop smiling the rest of the night.
