Chapter 4, and here we goo

Sorry for the delay and the small chapter, I will update again today!

It was around 10 in the evening when Garen finally decided to get home. He arrived at the big Mansion, after having a couple of drinks with his men, who wouldn't seem to stop congratulating him on his soon to be marriage. He could not understand why they thought he was so lucky to have the Sinister Blade as his wife.

She was, indeed, a very powerful and attractive woman. With her red flowing hair and bright green eyes, and that scar... That scar that proved how much of a worthy assassin she was. How much skill she owned.

And then, there was the other side of it. Men believed that the if Katarina fought with this passion, she must be this wild in bed too. Every man had some kind of wet dream with the assassin, and the fact that she was soon to be his drove them just a bit wild. But Garen was a man himself, and his ego did not let him feel pity about them. Just a small part of him felt really badass, knowing that this wildcat will be only his, and everyone else will just be allowed to watch. He was, somewhat, seeing her as a trophy. And that was one more mistake added to his list.

Looking around his armor for his keys, Garen started feeling just a tad bit worried. He remembered Shyvana giving them each a pair, and then.. Where had he put them?

"Oh hell no..."

Facepalming himself, he remembered letting those keys drop as soon as he had heard about the pregnancy thing. And then, instead of picking them up, he was carried away and ended up leaving. That left him with no keys to enter the house.

Sighing, he placed his fist against the door and knocked a few times.

Hopefully, the Sinister Blade would be inside. Or else, he would have to spy on her until she got back home to let him in.

The door opened suddenly and Garen's eyes widened at the view. Katarina was wearing a lace black nightgown that barely reached her mid-thigh. Her red curls were sprawled around her shoulders as her green eyes looked at him with the slightest tint of... Lust?

Must be the drinks..., Garen thought and shook his head.

"Don't you have keys, Crownguard? The fact that I am going to be your wife does not mean I will be your doorkeeper too."

Garen was just stuck, staring at the woman before him. His mind wouldn't function at the moment, and Katarina seemed to understand why, for a sly smirk spread on her lips.

She reached out and pulled him closer, whispering in his ear with a slow, sultry voice. "Like what you see, Crownguard?" Then placed a small kiss right behind his ear.

Garen could feel his body shiver at her touch, and as the words left her mouth, his hands wrapped themselves around her waist, pulling her body tight against his. "Let me in..," he told her, and Katarina looked at him confused.

Was that a metaphor for something, or was he was asking to enter the house?

The redhead had no idea, but didn't want to accept the fact that he might mean her heart and not the house.

"Lost your keys, hun?"

Garen pulled back to look at her. His mind was still cloudy with lust, but he couldn't allow her to play him like that. Though, could he stop it?

The Might of Demacia simply nodded and repeated himself.

"Let me in."

But Katarina stopped with when she placed a hand flat against his chest and got out of his grip with a smirk.

"No. You'll stay outside until you find your keys. Hope you are used to sleeping on the ground, Might of Demacia."

Then she went to close the door but Garen's strong hand stopped her.

"You won't dare. I told you I've lost my keys."

"Then why don't you ask your dear sister? She did have a pair of keys for our house earlier."

"She what?" Garen asked dumbfounded. Katarina smirked and took advantage of the moment to slam the door in his face.

Garen growled and kicked some dirt, then turned around and made his way back to the castle to find his sister. He needed those keys.

Lux hadn't managed to find Talon anywhere. For a moment she believed that he had lied to her, but then she learned that he was called back to Noxus, and would return in two days.

She was happy that he hadn't played her, but felt sad for not being able to enjoy that tour she had promised him. She only hoped that when he returned, he would remember the invitation he had offered her.

Sitting in her room, she was drinking a bit of whiskey and playing some cards with herself. Ezreal said he couldn't manage to come sit with her today, and she was left all alone, with no company, thinking over various things.

Ezreal, that assassin, Talon, her brother and then his soon to be lovely wife, Katarina. The one her brother was about to kill, but... Look how things change in a matter of seconds. Her plans of finding him a nice girl to marry, to have a nice sister to gossip with, spend some time with... It was all gone now. And Lux felt sad. Because Garen was her brother, and she loved him.

Her door slammed open, and Lux jumped, falling off of her bed in the process and landing on the floor with a yelp. Blowing a few strands of blonde hair out of her face she pushed herself up a little to see Garen, obviously drunk, looking at her angrily.

"What's wrong?" she asked, not even knowing what she had done.

Garen walked in the room and closed the door, moving closer to his little loving sister. He helped her up and placed her on the bed, than crossed his arms over his chest and stared at her sternly.

"A little bird told me that you have a pair of keys for my house. Is that true?"

Katarina..., Lux thought immediately and looked up at Garen who raised an eyebrow at her, already getting irritated of waiting.

The girl sighed and opened one of her drawers, grabbing the keys and tossing them at him.

"There."

Garen grabbed them easily and looked at her again. "Why did you have my keys?"

Lux looked at him apologetically. "Well, Shyvana gave them to me, telling me that you had forgotten these. I was supposed to give them to you,"

"But you didn't," Garen cut her off. He closed his eyes and shook his head then looked back down at his sister.

"Next time, you shall bring my things directly to me. Immediately. Are we clear?"

Lux nodded and watched as her brother left her room without even saying goodnight, She sighed and shrugged, lying back on the bed and falling asleep almost right away.
