Hi! Thanks for reviews. But still, I want more! I love reviews! Yeah...well, next chapter. And-when demigods use wands, it's automatically Greek. I don't want to say "so or so said something in Greek," all the time.

Chapter 4

Annabeth

"Lots of ingredients," Frank stated. "Uh...horse hair, koi fish scale, eagle feather, lion mane fur, dragon heart string, bee wings, changeable, and 12 inches. Bendy and soft. Well, probably has something to do with my shape changing, doesn't it? I've turned into all of those animals."

"Seriously?" Thalia laughed. "A koi fish scale? Where did that come from?"

Percy grinned. "Long story, including a giant kid-sized goldfish."

Thalia grinned widely. "Well, I'll have to guess Frank was the goldfish. Move on, Hazel's next."

Hazel handed her wand to Frank, then leaned on his shoulders to try to read it.

"Gold, diamonds, and mist. Ooh, has a unicorn horn! Awesome!" he read. Well, maybe he didn't read the 'awesome!' part, but the rest, yes. "Uh, nine and a half inches, straight but bendable, slightly."

"Nice," I murmured. "You can summon it like you summon precious metals, probably."

Next was Leo's. "Phoenix feathers, flame, and the outside is made of metal. Really hard to bend or break, the metal part," said Hermione. "10 inches."

"Shiny!" added Frank. Hazel shook her head.

"What I don't understand," asked Harry, "is why you can just say a command. Yes, that is rather unfair. Is it because Hecate is a Greek goddess, and your parents are also Greek gods?"

I shrugged. "Probably. Maybe these wands are also more powerful, or they are more connected to us. Like Percy, his wand stuff are directly related to Poseidon."

Harry sighed.

Thalia pulled her wand out and pointed it towards Percy's shoes. "turn it...blue!" she said.

Percy's shoes turned blue. "Awesome!" he said. "Nice sense of style, Thalia!"

I rolled my eyes. Seaweed Brain and his "lovely" sense of fashion. Well, I guess I couldn't blame him, all boys were the same.

Thalia's wand was made of air(surprise, surprise), lightning, golden deer fur, and the cover was made of pine tree. Percy would probably tease her about that. Looking back on it, so would I. It was also 12 inches, and unyielding.

Nico's wand was made of bones and shadows, and also that creepy metal called Stygian Iron.

Finally, mine was made of an owl feather, unicorn hair, and a bunch of celestial bronze. It even included some seaweed. That's so romantic! Ah, what was I talking about?

We were all trying out our wands, which we eventually found out was a really bad idea. It included a screaming-his-head-off Frank, a cursing Nico, and a very violent Percy. He kept summoning water, but I wasn't even sure if he was using his wand or he was just exploding taps. The wizards watched in awe.

"Blimey!" exclaimed Ron. "They don't even need practice!"

When the craziness finally died down, Mrs. Weasley called to us from upstairs. "Get ready! We have to go buy some school supplies soon!"

Moments later, we were standing in front of a brick wall. In the long minutes that me and Hermione were talking at the top of our speeds, she had told me how to get in to Diagon Alley. tapped a brick three times, and it expanded into a doorway. I saw the stores, and I grinned happily. Bookshops were everywhere! I lobe this place already!

I wanted to rush in to the bookshops, like, now, but we had to get money first. Ron's mom led us to a bank that was called something like "Got Grinos." But Hermione told me it was called Gringotts, so that was probably what it really was. Feeling cheerful, we followed her in. The first thing we saw is a...goblin?

I whispered to , "we don't have a vault, what do we-"

"Let Percy show the goblin his sword."

I told Percy to show Riptide to the goblin at the counter, and he obliged.

"Ah...not goblin made, this one." His eyes widened. "Celestial Bronze, eh?" He looked at us more carefully. "Demigod's vault?"

I nodded. He led us to a door, then called, "Gornuk!"

Another goblin came bustling over. He opened the door, then loaded us onto a wagon, or a cart. The thing started moving so fast that Leo looked like he was going to throw up. Personally, I didn't feel any better. When it finally stopped, I leaned against a wall, calming the butterflies in my stomach.

In front of me was a door marked by a sword. Gornuk held Percy's sword up, and the door opened. I gaped. piples and piles of gold, silver, and bronze coins were stacked. I looked at Hazel, who was starting to turn pale.

"Got it under control," she muttered. I squeezed her hand reassuringly.

Mrs. Weasley was talking about the money. "The gold ones are galleons, the silver sickles, and the bronze knuts. Got that?" I nodded. Hazel pointed her hand at the gold, then directed them happily to a bunch of bags in the corner. She then commanded the precious metals to fill the bags up. Soon, with hardly any effort, we had awesome money bags.

We rode the cart back up, and poor Leo, he really did throw up this time. Mrs. Weasley led us to the bookstores that I was just dying to get into.

Seeing all these books made me thrilled. The first thing I did was drag Percy to one of the bookshelves that had some of our needed books on it. There was the Standard Book of Spells, grade 5.

"Help me carry 12 copies," I commanded him. He groaned. I knew I wasn't pushing him-he's done much more than carrying some books.

"Ah, take that back. You have to carry all 12, I'll take these." I pointed to other books, the Defensive Magical Theory.

He groaned again, this time much more noticeable, but he agreed grudgingly, as he knew I would beat him to pulp if he didn't. He picked up 12 of the books with a sigh. When we got back to the entrance, the others had already gotten their books. Turns out Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the other Weasleys already had the other books from past years.

We made a stop for lunch with ice cream for dessert, under the persistence of Fred, George, Ron, and Percy.

"Next stop, shall we?" asked Hermione. "I would stay at the bookstore forever, but we do have more things to buy.

Oh gods, she's just like me! I had a feeling we would be friends, oh, very soon.

When we finally finished buying stuff, we did a fireplace/floo powder thing back to somewhere close to Grimmauld place, then walked back. We all greeted the people who didn't go. We found Sirius in dog form, wagging his tail at us. Frank must've been bored, because he turned into a bearlike dog as well and joined Sirius. Sirius barked happily, and they wrestled away.

Hazel smiled. "Ah. Sirius finally has a twin to play with."

"Well!" I said gleefully. "Anyone for reading these books with me?"

Hermione jumped up from the couch she was sitting on. "Me!"

We walked away, trying to find a screaming-painting-free zone. As we left, the others stared. "She does this every year," Ron confirmed.

I grinned. well, just my type. We opened our books, me turning mine into Greek.

After a few minutes, Hermione prodded me. "Look! What rubbish! This book says Counterjinxes are improperly named, and it's just a name people give to jinxes to make them sound more acceptable! That's not right! Counterjinxes are protective spells."

I thought it was a little wrong, too.

"I wonder who the teacher is," I said, frowning. "Well. let's go get ready for dinner, it's almost time." Hermione nodded.

We went downstairs, where Mrs. Weasley was already making dinner. Nico was there, Iris-Messaging Will. Oh, they made such a good couple...sorry, getting off task. But still, I'm surprised they didn't start smooching yet. Ah, getting off task again! Look what Percy is turning me into! (smack myself in the forehead.)

"Any way we can help?" asked Hermione.

"Oh, can you round up the boys, and the other demigods, please? Get them to wash their hands and get ready?" I nodded. The boys were quite easy to find, we just had to follow the sound of explsions. We found them in a room playing Exploding Snap.

"Guys, almost time for dinner!" I called. "Wash your hands and stuff."

They looked at me just as one of Ron's structures exploded with a boom.

"That took me so long!" he wailed.

I rolled my eyes. boys.

I pulled Hermione away to find the girls. They weren't hard to find because Piper and Hazel were screaming and laughing. They were harder to find than the boys, though. They were putting the most ridiculous makeup anyone could ever find on each other. Seriously, they looked like clowns! Piper jabbed her wand at Hazel's face. A fresh layer of white covered it.

"Perfect!" she exclaimed. she started drawing on Hazel's face again.

"Uh, time for dinner," Hermione said uncertainly.

Piper looked up. "Glitter bomb!" she cried. Well. I didn't know the correct translation of "glitter bomb" into Greek, but now I know. She must've been correct. because a blast of glitter erupted from her wand and hi the wall behind us. If we didn't duck, we would've been blasted straight in the faces. Just as it was, some of the bomb hit was anyway.

"Shiny!" Hermione said. Oh gods, she was starting to catch the Frank-itis. And no, that's not a good thing.

They wiped their makeup off, layer by layer. Seriously, even I couldn't count the times they had to say, "take off, take off, take off..." and so on. When they finally finished, they followed us to the boys' room. They were trying in vain to clean up. Finally, Percy got frustrated and just made water clean everything away. Unfortunately, it also, ah, washed the people, which included us. He strolled over, smiling playfully, and kissed me. I smiled, but said forcefully, "dry us off!"

He obliged. With a flick of his hand, the water rolled away, leaving our clothes and hair dry. Perhaps I should thank him, since he did wash the glitter out.

After dinner, we all showered(Percy just made the water wash him, he was so lazy), and Hermione and I went back to reading. After some time, George came in and said, "time for bed, bookworms."

I looked at the clock, not even realizing that it was already 10. I jumped up, grabbed my books, waved a quick goodbye to Hermione, and ran to our room to join Percy. He ran his fingers over my hair, and gave me a quick kiss. I was grinning wildly as I went to sleep.

Tartarus dreams were terrible. the only thing that comforted me was Percy drooling besides me. It had been endearing ever since we met. In our dreams, we always saw each other dying painfully. Surprise, surprise, huh?

Today, I was determined not to dream at all, just like yesterday, but determination doesn't always rule everything. I dreamed about Bob and Damesen today, and I was struggling not to cry when I woke. They had done so much for us, yet we had abandoned them.

I yawned and sat up. Well, another day to come, another day to face.

And no, I don't like cliffhangers. I'm not quite as evil as rick Riordan, who ended a whole book with Percy and Annabeth falling into Tartarus.

Hey, question. Reply by review. Who is your favorite out of the characters in this story? And how much do you want me to update? I know most of you will say hourly, but...I can't type that fast. I'll show the results of the first question every time I update.

Now, for those Solangelo lovers, do you want me to bring Will into the quest?

See ya next time!
