HELLO! Once again, I have made some improvements to this chapter. Please take time to read it again, a lot has changed and you'll notice it's also a lot longer than before.

Celestial Dragon
Cobra's eye stayed narrowed in on the blonde as he regarded her carefully. The action however, did not go unnoticed by Sting and Gajeel. The Iron Dragon Slayer made a mental note to keep Lucy in his sights around the Poison Dragon, not liking the way the purple eye stared at the blonde. Sting however, noted that Cobra wasn't angry with the Celestial mage; instead, he was viewing her with bafflement. Something about her had confused him and it puzzled Sting. There wasn't a lot he knew about his fellow slayer, in fact, all he knew was that Cobra used Poison Dragon slaying magic, he'd been a dark mage part of the Oracion Seis and had been imprisoned for the last eight years, apart from when he was broken out to helping during the Dragon Attack at the Grand Magic Games. He also knew that Cobra didn't know Lucy enough to be confused by her. Sting didn't sense any malicious intent, but Lucy was his friend and he'd keep an eye out for her in regards to the Poison Dragon. Before Cobra got the chance to interrogate the blonde, he was once more interrupted.
"Lucy, Laxus, Gray and Rogue, please see me in my office right away" Makarov called out, exiting from his office briefly as he stared down at the guild. The four dragons in question turned to stare at the worried guild master before nodding. Lucy, Rogue and Gray walked upstairs together as Laxus zapped himself to the top floor.
"I wonder what's got Master so bothered" Gray murmured to Lucy, who simply shrugged in response.
"Who knows, I mean it's an odd combination of mages" Lucy replied as the three entered the Master's office, Rogue staying silent the entire time.
"Ah yes, come in" Makarov said, beckoning them in as he watched them enter through the office door.
"What is it Old Man?" Laxus questioned, eyebrows rising as he looked at his grandfather expectantly.
"It seems there are some problems in Exceed Village, I received a distressing message from them. Sadly, the message was distorted and Queen Shagotte's words weren't clear. I need you four to go check it out." Master stated gravely.
"EHHHHH?" Lucy screamed, standing up in shock. Gray, as usual was his calm self, Laxus' eyebrow raised further, almost disappearing into his hairline while Rogue stood quietly to the side, his face impassive.
"But Master, surely one of the present teams could take care of the problem? Like Team Natsu or the Thunder God Tribe" Lucy argued causing Makarov to sigh.
"Team Natsu are entirely too destructive, especially with Gray and Natsu's constant arguing and the Thunder God Tribe have never been there before, so I selected the mages myself" Makarov replied and Lucy sighed before her eyes narrowed.
"But… Gray's on this team, so won't he be destroying things anyway? No offense Gray" Lucy replied and Gray shrugged, not wanting to argue and get on Lucy's bad side.
"No, Gray's usually very calm and level headed, it's just when Natsu is around that he goes overboard" Makarov reasoned and Lucy sweatdropped before hesitantly nodded, not wanting to argue any further with her guild Master.
"Why do I need to go? I'm sure they can handle it themselves" Laxus replied, annoyance dripping from his voice. He'd just gotten back from a job and had wanted to take a short break. However, it didn't seem like that was going to occur anytime soon.
"Maybe, but as future Guild Master, you need to form bonds between the different factions in Fiore, and Exceed Village is one of them. They may also need the help of an S Class mage. Besides, they are our friends and they have asked for help. That should be enough reason for you to go" Makarov replied, glaring at his grandson in a look that screamed 'no more arguments'.
"Tch, fine" Laxus replied, cocking his head to the side, deciding to let it go for now. It would be strange going on a mission that didn't include the Thunder God Tribe and he'd never spent much time with Gray or Rogue, but Lucy he could deal with.
"What about me? I've just joined, surely you don't need me on this mission" Rogue finally commented and Makarov turned to him before nodding.
"Yes, but you've been in a team with Sting all your life, it will do you good to see how you get along with other Dragon Slayers and members of the guild. Besides, your skills may come in handy" Makarov stated and Rogue nodded, not wanting to argue with his new guild master and get in trouble. He knew Master Makarov wasn't one to violently punish and that if anything, he was the most benevolent crackhead of a guild master. Yet, he still didn't want to argue on his first day as part of the guild.
"Alright good, now, you should leave. Since there are three Dragons on the team, it would be best to avoid the trains and walk. They're currently in the village of Lisianthus so it should take no more than a couple of hours to make it there. Lucy, Gray, I trust you will lead Laxus and Rogue safely?" Makarov questioned, looking at Lucy who nodded her assurance.
"Alright, let's head back. Pack whatever you need and meet me by the guild's front entrance in about thirty minutes" Laxus ordered, taking charge of the mission as the rest of the makeshift team agreed.
"Cobra, I need to speak to you" Lucy called out to the dragon slayer as she left the office.
"What?" Cobra asked gruffly from his seat at the bar. He'd been in the middle of quietly catching up with Kinana, while Mira was more preoccupied with an angry Erza who was in the middle of demanding more cake, before the blonde interrupted him.
"I'm leaving on a mission and will be gone for the rest of the day. I should return by the night, tomorrow at the latest. There should be something in the fridge for dinner, if not there's always takeaway or you could ask Mira, she'll cook for you. I don't know if I can leave you alone, or if I should really… but I'm going to hand you my keys when I'm done packing. Please don't trash the place. I'll let Natsu know not to break in tonight," Lucy informed and Cobra waved his hand in dismissal.
"Yeah yeah, whatever" He muttered out, snagging the keys from her before returning to stare at his glass of hemlock and moonshine. Lucy rolled her eyes at his attitude, suppressing her inner urge to throttle the maroon haired mage, Cobra smirking at her thoughts.
"Stupid Cobra" Lucy mumbled under her breath as she approached her salmon haired best friend.
"Hey Luce" Natsu greeted, Lucy immediately grinning at her friend.
"Listen, I've been put on a job with Gray, Rogue and Laxus. I'll be gone for the day. I should be back by tonight, but if not, definitely tomorrow. We're not sure how long the job will take, but if it's any longer Laxus will inform the Master via thought projection. Cobra's also staying in my apartment for the night so please don't barge in there" Lucy pleaded and Natsu's ire only grew.
"BUT LUCE, YOU'RE MY PARTNER. YOU CAN'T GO ON A MISSION WITHOUT ME," Natsu yelled, drawing the attention of Mira who only squealed as hearts surrounded her head.
"Natsu, I don't have much of a choice. Master ordered it and so I can't exactly disobey. I'm sorry but we'll go on one as soon as I'm back, alright?" Lucy reasoned, trying to placate the dragon slayer who only began flaming in response.
"BUT WHY DOES THE STRIPPER GET TO GO?" He argued as fire surrounded him, Lucy let out a soft growl, growing more agitate at Natsu who was only damaging her sensitive hearing.
"Natsu… are you sure you want to keep arguing with me?" Lucy whispered through gritted teeth, a dark aura surrounding her as Natsu gulped, immediately sensing danger.
"N-n-n-no ma'am! I think Happy's calling me, see ya" Natsu called quickly, fleeing away from Lucy before he could anger her further. Lucy let out a small smirk; at least she knew how to control Natsu. She then turned around and left the guild so she could pack her stuff.
An hour and a half later, Lucy and Gray were leading Rogue and Laxus through a dense swamp and towards the Exceed village. Lucy currently sat inside Horologium, not wanting to trudge through the swampy marshes while Gray walked next to her, his shirt had been lost a while ago, his hands arms behind his head as he easily navigated through the murky water. Laxus and Rogue followed behind the two, Laxus listening to his Sound Pod while Rogue walked silently. Frosch sat in Rogue's arm, taking in the scenery as Frost flew besides Gray, keeping his Dragon Slayer company.
"So how much farther is this place?" Laxus questioned, annoyed that his favourite pair of black slacks had been ruined. If he had known they'd be trudging through marsh water, he would have worn something else.
"'Not that much further, maybe an hour or two' she says" Horologium's passive voice replied, Laxus huffing as he continued his trek.
"That Spirit is really cool" Frosch said, flying over to Lucy as he put his hands to the glass.
"Thank you. I can also cure anyone of lack of oxygen, bug bites, chapping skin, itchiness and acne" Horologium replied and Frosch's eyes sparkled.
"Wow! You can really do all of that?" Frosch asked in wonder, Horologium nodding.
"He even keeps Lucy from being cold and can summon himself when Lucy is in danger" Frost said, flying over to the green Exceed.
"That's quite a useful spirit you have there Lucy" Rogue commented, Lucy smiling, however as soon as she opened her mouth to reply, Horologium cut in.
"Miss Lucy, sadly your time has run out," Horologium warned before returning back to the Spirit world, dropping Lucy into the water.
"Ack! Useful until he's not" Lucy protested, grabbing the hand Rogue had extended towards her. As soon as she was pulled up Lucy groaned to herself, looking at her clothing.
"Why do my clothes always get ruined? This was a new outfit," Lucy moaned, crying as she realised more of her Jewels had gone down the drain.
"Are we getting out of this place anytime soon?" Laxus questioned, Gray nodding.
"Yeah, I think another couple of minutes and we'll be back on solid ground" Gray replied.
"Alright. We'll stop there for a short break, have some lunch and dry off" Laxus said, everyone nodding their consent. Soon enough, they exited the water and found a place for their little pit stop. Laxus left in search of food while Gray and Frost scavenged for wood that was dry in order to build a fire that would both dry them off and cook their food. This left Rogue, Frosch and Lucy alone, the latter who was slightly trembling as the cool air brushed against her skin. While still in summer, the forest was close enough to the sea that the ocean breeze caused the hair on their arms to raise.
"Are you alright Lucy, do you have a change in clothing?" Rogue questioned, looking at his new guild mate in concern.
"Um not really. I should have anticipated this, but considering we were only going to be gone for a short while…" Lucy said, silently admonishing herself for not thinking ahead.
"Princess, I have bought you a change of clothes. Punishment time?" Virgo asked, appearing out of thin air and causing Rogue to jump in shock.
"No and stop asking! But thank you for the clothing" Lucy replied, taking the clothing from the Maid spirit before she popped back to the Celestial world.
"Would you mind turning around for a bit please?" Lucy asked, Rogue blushing slightly before doing as asked. Lucy kept her eye on him, making sure he wouldn't peak, not that she thought he would, it was just an added precaution from her time spent with Natsu and Gray. She quickly stripped down naked before slipping on the blue skirt with gold swirls. Turning to the white corset she frowned, realising she'd need help with the strings at the back.
"Rogue, would you mind helping me with my top?" Lucy asked as she bared her exposed back towards the slayer. She didn't think much of it, considering she'd asked Gray and Natsu hundreds of times to help her clothing when Erza and Wendy weren't around.
Rogue however, wasn't used to anything of the sort and his mouth dried when he turned around, taking in Lucy's figure. His eyes roamed the expanse of her back, the red slit pupils widening at the delicious sight of her smooth, milky skin. His eyes darkened as thoughts of running his tongue down the line of her spine came to mind, gulping at the sight of her back dimples. He could just imagine his thumbs fitting in them perfectly as he gripped her hips and pounded her from behind. Not to mention the wonderful view of her perfectly sculpted ass, the cheeks looked round and tight, he was more than sure he could bounce a small lacrima off of it. His thoughts were further darkened when he realised she wasn't wearing a bra, he could easily turn her around and get a eye full of her soft, perky breasts.
"Rogue? Is there a problem?" Lucy asked, staring at him over her shoulder. Rogue swallowed thickly, he could just imagine her looking at him like that as she was on her hands and knees.
Shaking his head, he walked over to her, staring at the gold markings on the back of her neck as he focused on tying the strings up instead of the intoxicating smell that belonged to her. The sharp aroma of raspberries and crisp smell of stardust was cut by the fragrance of sweet rose and bubble gum undertones that were the telltale smell of oleanders. He breathed in deeply, inhaling the intoxicating scent, resisting the urge to run his nose along her neck and shoulder. Finishing the last pair of strings, he gathered all his strength and took a step back. Lucy turned around, smiling brightly at him in thanks before taking a seat on one of the logs to put on the white silk thigh high stockings along with the dark blue velvet heeled knee high boots.
"Those markings on the back of your neck, what are they?" Rogue questioned as he took a seat opposite her, pulling Frosch into his lap as he did so. Lucy smiled and began tying her hair up using her blue ribbon.
"They're tribal markings from Galuna Island, I got them while I finished up an S Class mission with Team Natsu. It was about a year and a half ago, when I first joined. Well, eight years and a half for you" Lucy replied simply before correcting herself.
"S Class mission?" Rogue asked, Lucy blanching.
"Yeah, we weren't supposed to be on it. Natsu stole the mission and we left without it being approved. We were obviously punished… in the form of Natsu's stupidity. You see, he read out this spell from one of the job flyers that caused us all to swap bodies… it was such a mess" Lucy said, shaking her head as she remembered constantly being worried about Gray stripping and bearing all her goods to the guild.
"What do they mean?" Frosch asked from his seat on Rogue's lap. Lucy turned to both of them, lifting her hair up as she bared the four lines of markings on the nape of her neck. Now less distracted, Rogue had the time to properly take in the tattoo. The top line consisted of a semi circles with a single full circle inside them, triangles under the semi circles. The second line was a zigzag with three triangles in the shape of a three-leaf clover while the third line was nothing but large hollow triangles filled in with smaller triangles. Finally, the last line consisted of a pattern of two lines with a diamond in the middle.
"The top line symbolises rain clouds, it also means a dark period in the person's life, which was my time back at the Heartfilia Konzern after my mother died. The second represents new growth for being born again and that was when I first joined Fairy Tail. Those two are in gold because they're the first ones I got. The other two are in silver because I got them after the Grand Magic Games, when Team Natsu had been called back to Galuna Island for a small mission. The third line is supposed to be shark teeth and it usually is a sign for strength while the last represents people holding hands, a display of unity. The last two are my guild and the strength and friendship that come with being a Fairy Tail mage. I also have this one, it means lucky star. For as long as I was in the Konzern, I was known as Lucky Lucy Heartfilia and with my magic… it just seemed right you know?" Lucy said, smiling softly as she showcased the small gold star and three silver lines on the inner wrist of her right hand.
"They're very pretty" Frosch said, looking at her wrist and Lucy smiled brightly at the green Exceed, Rogue silently agreeing with his partner.
"Do you have any tattoos?" Lucy asked the Shadow Dragon slayer and he nodded, proceeding to remove his kimono, unfastening the armour from around his neck before removing it from his torso and exposing the skin around his chest. Lucy took in the sight of the dark swirls that were tattooed onto his pale skin. It was located in the middle of his sternum, just slightly to the left, where his heart lay.
"What does it mean?" Lucy asked, drawing her attention away from his chest and towards his eyes as he re-dressed himself.
"It's the Enca symbol for friendship. Sting has the Midi symbol of friendship, to remind us that we built the new Sabertooth on the love we feel for our friends. But I guess… that didn't mean much in the end did it?" Rogue muttered, Frosch looking at his slayer in sadness.
"What happened to Sabertooth?" Lucy asked and Rogue shrugged.
"Minerva returned and challenged Sting for the role of Master. He didn't want to but had to and lost. She then kicked us out for being weak. The rest of the guild were too scared to do anything" Rogue informed and Lucy's eyes softened in sadness, especially when she caught Frosch's whimper, his eyes filling with tears.
"I'm sorry to hear that. But you know you're welcome in Fairy Tail. That symbol isn't meaningless, you have friends in Fairy Tail and here, we care about our guild mates," Lucy said and Rogue nodded, choosing to end the conversation. Frosch however, couldn't let go of his emotions as easily as Rogue and without thinking Lucy reached for him, shocking Rogue as she picked up the crying Exceed before hugging him to her body; his face nestled in her breasts.
"Rogue was kicked out because Frosch is weak," Frosch bawled and Rogue opened his mouth to protest only to be cut off by Lucy.
"That's not true. You were kicked out because Minerva doesn't know what friendship means. You don't need Rogue's magic or Erza's power to be powerful. You're very strong Frosch, because you love Rogue. My mama once told me that all magic is born from love and if that's true, which I believe it is, then you are are strong as they get" Lucy whispered softly, rocking the crying Exceed as she soothed him, until he was no longer crying.
"Is that true?" Frosch sniffled, Lucy smiling brightly as she nodded. The feline let out his own shaky smile as he returned her smile, nuzzling closer into her bosom.
"Fro likes Lucy" Frosch said, looking up at the blonde with wide eyes.
"I like you too Frosch" Lucy replied, hugging him closer to her body. Rogue's features softened, a small smile present on his face as he took in the sight of Frosch and Lucy. He couldn't help but think he liked her too.
A couple minutes later, Laxus and Gray returned and it was Lucy and Rogue's turn to do some of the work. Laxus lit the firewood Gray had found using his lightning while Rogue and Lucy began preparing their lunch with Frosch's help. Another half an hour later and they had sated their hunger, no one commenting on how much Lucy had managed to put away. Gray had sat in silent shock, he'd never seen Lucy completely decimate seven whole fish until there was nothing but bone left and yet he had to believe his own eyes. Finally, they began the final trek towards the Exceed village, arriving another hour later. Lucy and Gray's eyes widened at the dishevelled village, the small houses being broken. Turning to each other they stared in shock before running into the heart of the village, Rogue and Laxus following as they yelled for the Exceeds.
"Queen Shagotte?" Are you here? Please come out" Lucy cried, her heart pumping as she hoped the queen was around somewhere. They couldn't have been too late could they?
"Goodness! Lucy? Gray? Oh thank heavens, we were wondering when you'd arrive" Queen Shagotte said, walking over to the mages from her hiding spot, a desolate look on her face.
"What happened here?" Laxus questioned, watching as various, terrified Exceeds flew out from their hiding places.
"These mages ransacked our village. They had horrifying Take Over power that turned them into wolf like beings. They managed to take a few of baby Exceeds, some that were newly hatched, from the eggs that we had sent through the anima" Shagotte informed, the Celestial Dragon supressing a growl as she bent over to hug the white Exceed.
"Fro is scared" Frosch said, clutching tighter to Rogue.
"We'll bring them back. On our word as Fairy Tail wizards" Gray promised, taking his shirt off as he did so, the three other mages nodding their consent.
"I know you will, however, must you remove your clothing? There are children present" Queen Shagotte replied, reprimanding him in a tone that reminded him of Carla.
"Ah! When did that happen?" Gray yelled as he frantically looked around for his clothing.
"Do you have any idea where they went?" Rogue questioned, Shagotte pointing towards a cave carved into the mountain besides them.
"Through there. We did our best to hide after they left. They came a couple hours ago and should still be there. We wanted to leave, but I couldn't fathom leaving the children to those monsters" Shagotte said sadly, Lucy nodding.
"Like Gray said, we'll get them back. You can count on us," Lucy said before letting the Queen go. She glared at the cave entrance before turning to her partners, nodding at them as they walked inside. As soon as she entered, she had to resist the urge to gag at the strong scent of matted fur and carcasses. The stench was putrid, making her eyes water slightly.
"Shit, this place smells like a graveyard" Laxus muttered, scrunching his nose up, Gray and Rogue agreeing with him.
"And of course this would happen" Lucy groaned as they appeared before a fork road that consisted of four different paths.
"I can't smell anything over the scent of dying flesh and wet hide. We'll split up evenly. We have three dragon slayers, so scream for help if you find anything" Laxus ordered and his three companions nodded before they set off on their own, each choosing a path of their own.
Lucy gripped her whip in one hand, her other hand close to her keys as she wandered through the dark path. As the path darkened, Lucy brushed her hand against Loke's key, summoning to her side. Her Lion spirit appeared in a dazzling flash of light, smiling brightly at her before lighting her path using his Regulus magic. The two walked in silence as they kept a look out for anything suspicious. Suddenly, Lucy caught the sound of high whimpers and picked up her pace until she was running and soon found herself entering a dimly lit grotto, the missing Exceeds locked in a cage high on the ceiling.
"Help" Called out one of the Exceed, however before Lucy could approach the cage, she was thrown back by a strong force.
"So, the Exceeds called guild mages for help. How interesting" came a deep, gravelly voice.
"Return the Exceeds" Lucy demanded, Loke standing besides her, ready for a fight.
"I don't think I want to. It's not much, but they're a good source of protein" the voice said, Lucy frantically looking around for where the voice was coming from.
"I'm not going to let that happen" Lucy replied as she drew out her whip, the voice simply laughing at her.
"You don't have much of a choice" the voice cackled and once again she was hit, thrown to the side by the brute force. Lucy let out a growl before picking herself up.
"Lucy!" Loke called out, trying to locate his master.
"Light up this place Loke" Lucy ordered, Loke's hands shining bright.
"Your wish is my command beautiful" Loke replied and the cave lit up, the light blinding Lucy's eyes as she tried to adjust to the sudden brightness.
"Well that simply won't do" the voice chuckled, his voice low. Lucy shuddered as she felt the warm breath brush against her ear. She quickly turned around, coming face to face with her opponent. Her eyes widened as she backed away, hands trembling on her whip at the sight of the beast. He was easily taller than 7ft with dark brown fur covering his impossibly thick, muscular arms and legs. His eyes were red, sharp teeth covered in dried blood as he salivated at the sight of Lucy.
"Lucy get down! Regulus Impact" Loke yelled, punching the wolf like beast away from Lucy.
"Thanks Loke. Now, Open Gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus" Lucy summoned, the massive bovine spirit easily clashing with the beast. While Loke and Taurus tag teamed the wolf, Lucy ran towards the cage, extending her whip, she flicked her wrist causing the weapon to wrap around the cage. With a strong pull, Lucy managed to free the cage, sending it hurtling down. She ran for it, easily catching the cage and sending the Exceeds a reassuring smile.
"AHH" Loke screamed as the mage clawed at his abdomen with long sharp claws, sending the leads of the Zodiac back to the Spirit world.
"LOKE" Lucy cried, concern lacing her voice as he disappeared in a flash of golden lights.
"I will protect Lucy's hot bod, Tension Max" Taurus called, stampeding towards the man like beast with his axe, swinging his labrys with his immense strength, attacking the man. However the mage easily dodged before impaling Taurus on both hands before ripping them to the side.
"I'm sorry Lucy" Taurus said apologetically as he too returned to the Spirit world.
"Taurus no" Lucy yelled, the wolf hybrid turned towards her, mouth twisted into a toothy grin. The Exceeds whimpered, Lucy placing the cage behind her. She pulled out her keys, ready to summon another Spirit when they disappeared from her hand.
"What the?" Lucy called, wondering where her keys went until she heard their telltale jingling; she looked up and there, dangling in the mage's claws were her keys, the man grinning with sadistic pleasure.
"A Celestial mage is only strong when around her keys. I wonder what would happen if I started breaking them. Would they die?" He asked and Lucy's eyes widened as he pulled out Aquarius' key, his strong hands roughly handling the delicate gold key. He placed his between his two hands.
"Stop please!" Lucy begged, however out of nowhere, she was held at bay by a newcomer, the mage's hold keeping her locked in place.
'Where did this one come from? I can't smell anything in this place damn. I need to save Aquarius' key' Lucy thought struggling with wide eyes when the other wolf began moving his hands, in a motion to bend the key.
"STOP IT" Lucy screamed, her voice echoing through the cavern. The man only licked his snout as he watched her struggle.
"That's… Lucy!" Laxus realised, his head snapping to the side as he heard the screams that came from his blonde guild mate. Something was happening and he had to get to her immediately. He turned to his opponent growling as he caught the smiling visage of the female wolf in front of it.
"It seems our leader is giving one of your friends his special treatment," She said licking her lips and Laxus let out a low growl.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY. Lightning Dragon's Iron Fist" Laxus roared as he charged towards his opponent, fist imbued with lightning as he punched her. Releasing a large amount of lightning; he electrocuted her, effectively knocking her out before running further down the pathway, following Lucy's screams.
"Luce" Gray yelled when he heard her telltale screams, realising he needed to end his fight quickly; icy mist surrounded his fists as he unconsciously stripped down to his boxers. His enemy wondering what was going on.
"Listen man, I don't swing that way" The Take Over mage replied.
"Hurry Gray, Lucy's in trouble" Frost called out, the Exceed flying while Gray tried running after him. Only to be stopped by the mage in front of him.
"You're not going anywhere," The mage said, trying to stop the Ice Dragon slayer from running, only to be cut off by Gray's finishing attack.
"MOVE. ICE DRAGON'S UNLIMITED ONE SIDED CHAOTIC DANCE" Gray spelled, a large number of swords barraging towards his enemy in a spiral of ice. He ran towards where he heard Lucy's voice, hoping that she was okay. If not, there would be hell to pay.
"That sounds like Lucy" Frosch said, looking towards the end of the tunnel.
"You're right. We have to get to her. Let's finish this quickly. Natsu and Erza will kill us if anything happens to her" Rogue said, remembering how livid they had been when Minerva had tortured the blonde.
"Fro thinks so too" Frosch called, Rogue's fists afire with black shadows.
"Why don't you stay a bit longer, I'm sure our leader's treating her just wonderfully. Just listen to those screams of agony, don't they just make you shiver in pleasure," The woman in front of Rogue taunted, his eyes narrowing into slits.
"Shadow Dragon's Waxwing Flash" Rogue spelled as he turned his body into shadows; he then proceeded to wrap himself around his target before assaulting her with a torrent of shadows in the form of punches. Finally defeating his opponent, Frosch picked him up, flying him quickly towards Lucy.
"Please stop!" Lucy pleaded as she continued to struggle against the person holding her.
"Not until I break every one of these keys," He chuckled darkly; finally moving his hands quickly, ready to shatter the key into pieces.
"I SAID STOP IT" Lucy shrieked at the top of her lungs, her voice echoing throughout the cave. All three male Dragon Slayers arrived at the grotto Lucy occupied, their sensitive ears bursting as the sound of Lucy's desperate shriek reverberated through the walls. All of a sudden, her shrieks ceased and the Dragon Slayer's heart gripped as they wondered if they were too late in saving her.
"Dragon Force: Hidden Stellar Form" Lucy's low and eerie voice filled the area and just as they ran into the cave, there were thrown into the walls along with the mage who had held her down, the dragon slayer's arms shielded their eyes as a hot, searing white light blinded them. Suddenly, the light died down and they lowered their arms, eyes wide as they came into contact with Lucy's body. Or at least, what they thought was Lucy.
She was currently suspended in the air, two large dragon wings and two smaller ones that seemed to be made out of the night sky flapping behind her, protruding out of her back. Just above her butt was a long dragon's tail, casually whipping back and forth, four horns bulging out of her head. Her hair had grown longer and flowed around her head. She was covered in blue and yellow dragon scales, from her breasts all the way down to the mid thighs, lighter flesh coloured scales protecting the rest of her body while her hands and feet had turned into dragon claws.
"What the hell is going on?" Gray whispered, unable to believe the sight of his friend.
"Give me my keys back" Lucy commanded, her voice a few octaves deeper than it usually would be.
"Come get them" The mage sneered as he placed the keys between his teeth, preparing for a fight. Soon the wind started whipping around him before he disappeared, only to reappear behind Lucy, sending a swift kick to her back. Lucy flew forward before turning herself and angling her body towards the wolf.
"CELESTIAL DRAGON SLASH" Lucy growled out, sending a kick to the wolf's head.
"Wolf Claw" the leader called out, clawing at Lucy with maximum speed leaving her unable to block or dodge. Lucy took advantage of the situation and ran up to the wolf, grabbing him by the shoulders and glaring at him in rage.
"GIVE ME MY KEYS BACK. CELESTIAL DRAGON WING ATTACK" Lucy bellowed, her fists flaring with Celestial magic as she threw the wolf into the air.
"YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO TAKE THEM BY FORCE" The wolf snarled causing Lucy to send a Celestial Dragon Adamantine Fist to hit snout, punching him with brute force. The rest of the Dragon Slayers and Exceeds watched in confusion and awe as Lucy fought the Take Over mage, wondering what was going on. The wolf jumped high, grabbing Lucy by the waist before throwing her back into the ground and landing on her, causing Lucy to scream, her ribs almost cracking under the weight. The alpha drew closer to her face, snarling before opening his mouth wide, jagged sharp teeth snapping to rip her face off. Lucy took a deep breath before summoning her magic around her, a blue and gold glow forming around her, white lights present in the glowing wisps.
"Celestial Dragon Stellar Guard" Lucy gasped, the shield forming around her in time to stop the wolf from chewing off her face.
"Lucy oh my what's going on?" Shagotte said as she flew into the cave, stepping besides Gray.
"Queen Shagotte, what are you doing here?" Gray questioned, tearing his eyes from the battle at the newcomer.
"You were taking so long I decided to check on you. I was worried. Is that… Lucy?" Shagotte questioned and Gray had to give her props for her courage before nodding.
"We have no idea what's going on," Frost said, wondering when the Celestial mage had become a Dragon Slayer.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art Celestial Emperor Cosmic Star" Lucy yelled ignoring the fact that Queen Shagotte had arrived. She formed large blue magic circles in the air, which summoned large stellar orbs of Celestial magic. The large stars flew towards the alpha, sticking to him and sending him flying into the air, away from Lucy before exploding.
"ULTIMATE ALPHA WOLF FORM: DARK MOON FANGS" The wolf roared before he too jumped into the air. The onlookers watched as his fangs grew, his jaw becoming more powerful. The Fairy Tail mages and Exceed's watched in fear as his jaw locked onto Lucy's arm, swiftly biting down.
"LUCY" Queen Shagotte and Gray yelled, the latter almost stepping into the fight, only to be held back by Laxus.
"What are you doing Laxus? Let me go! Lucy's in trouble" Gray yelled, trying to free himself from Laxus' hold.
"No she's not, look," Rogue stated, causing Gray to stiffen before turning back to the fight. His eyes widened as he watched Lucy throw the alpha to the ground effortlessly, her arm completely undamaged while the alpha howled holding onto his chipped and cracked teeth.
"Witch! How did you break my teeth?" He growled, spitting out a few broken ones along with Lucy's keys. Lucy flew towards her key the same time the wolf ran towards them, however Lucy let our her Dragon roar, sending the wolf flying back as she gripped her keys close to her.
"Aquarius is going to kill me for this. But you, you're going to pay first for trying to break her key" Lucy snarled, her inner dragon roaring in pleasure as her magic began flaring.
"This isn't the Lucy I remember, she seems different" Rogue whispered, trying to link back the sweet Celestial Mage he'd seen at the Grand Magic Games to the Dragon Slayer in front of him.
"I'd have to agree. However, it's probably Lucy's Dragon Slaying magic that's affecting her personality. Just like Mira's Satan Soul" Laxus informed, watching the blonde female with mirth as she repeatedly sent Celestial Dragon Slashes and Claws at the wolf.
"You'd be right in thinking that, all magic influences personality. Lucy is usually bright and cheerful, because her Celestial Magic is light and full of the love she has for her Spirits. Gray is usually cool and calm, like his ice while Natsu is as temperamental and explosive as the fire he controls. However, all Dragon Slayers are closer to Dragons, who are easily irritable, proud and extremely powerful. The Lucy you see now, the Celestial Dragon Slayer, is channelling her magic into her personality" Queen Shagotte explained.
"Will she return back to her usual self?" Rogue questioned and the queen frowned.
"Yes and no, while she'll still be the same Lucy, her Celestial Dragon slaying magic will still influence her while she's not using it. However, I'm still shocked as to why she is a Dragon Slayer…" Shagotte stated before turning to Gray.
"Gray, you've known Lucy the longest, has she ever displayed her Dragon Slaying magic before?" Queen Shagotte questioned.
"No, this is the first I'm seeing or even hearing about it. As far as I was concerned before this, there were only eight Dragon Slayers" Gray replied and the queen of the Exceeds nodded before they turned back to the fight.
"CELESTIAL DRAGON ADAMANTINE WHIP" Lucy roared, her tail glowing before whipping at the wolf with extreme force, sending him flying away from her once again. Large magic circles appeared in the sky behind Lucy, her wings flapping lazily. Everyone watched as power started radiating off of the magic circles, dust particles and Celestial Eternano started forming into large planets on top of the magic circles. The planets started glowing in different hues of purple, green, yellow, pink and blues, spinning quickly as Lucy controlled them.
"Dragon Force Hidden Stellar Form: Celestial Emperor Planetary Drive" Lucy roared, sending forth her planets towards the alpha. Each planet hurtled towards the alpha, driving him into the ground before exploding, giving him large burns and crushing a few bones. Lucy's body quickly began glowing as she flew down to the floor, exiting her Dragon Force, causing her to return to her previous clothes. The Take Over mage was currently unconscious as he retreated to him usual, human form.
Lucy staggered slightly as she panted, trying to regain her breath. Running a hand through her hair, she groaned as she took in the sight of her ripped clothes and bleeding torso before turning to look at the shocked Exceeds and Fairy Tail members. Lucy cocked her head to the side, slightly woozy from the loss of blood, wondering what they were so shocked about however, before she could think her mind went blank. Her world soon turned black, and she distinctly saw Gray run towards her, shock and panic on his face as her eyes rolled back, collapsing from the loss of blood.
Wow, I'm pretty sure this one was more intense hehehehe sorry. But Aquarius' key hasn't snapped! I feel like this was a lot better way to showcase Lucy's magic because once her keys are in danger and out of her hand she would definitely fall on her instincts a lot more.
