I Beg You

A/N: Hey guys, long time no see. I'm sorry for the late update…. I had to really think about what I was going to put into this chapter. I had this feeling that this chapter is the decision maker of this whole fanfic. If this chapter turns out to be crappy I'm so sorry in advance. If it does turn out to be crap I'll do my best to rewrite this chapter! So please enjoy and tell me what you think of it!

Lucy's POV:

I ran out of the guild knowing that Natsu was right behind my heels. But I didn't stop, I didn't plan on stopping. I couldn't believe that he actually did that to me. Me! His team member! Best friend! I mean if he gave me time and thought of where he was coming from for his revenge I would have eventually agreed to do it. But no! He had to go ruin everything!

"Lucy! Wait! Let me explain!" I heard Natsu shout from behind me. I expected him to have already caught up with me. Him been the great salamander. Maybe he wants me to stop by myself and have me willingly listen to him. Maybe, Maybe not. I still kept on running to my apartment and ignoring Natsu, ignoring the questioning and curious stares from those around me.

"P-Please Lucy" Natsu's voice cracked slightly. His voice sounded pained as if the thought of me running away from him was painful to think, that the fact that I was not willing to listen to him was painful for him. I stopped in my track, not been able to go on after hearing him like that.

He came to stand in front of me. "Please Lucy, all I'm asking is for you to hear me out. Please?". Slowly releasing a sigh I nodded my head. He smiled gratefully at me before offering me his hand to hold. I looked at his outstretched for awhile before hesitantly placing my hand on top of his. He intertwined our fingers and then starting walking; with me behind him looking at the ground. Once every few minutes I would look up to gaze at him.

When we reached my apartment I pulled my hand from his hold and went to open the door with my key that was in my satchel. I opened the door entering and waiting for Natsu to enter before closing the door. Noticing that he waited for me while I was closing the door I lead him to the dining room and gestured for him to sit down.

"Want something to drink Natsu?" I asked him to which he replied with a no. Sighing I took a seat opposite him. I looked at him expectantly but sensing that he wasn't going to make the first move to talk; him been the idiot he is. I decided to talk first.

"So, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" I asked Natsu.

"Well... Can you come sit next to me first? It'll be much easier for you and me. Please?" He asked no, basically begged me. I sat there considering his offer. Did I trust him enough not to shove his tongue down my throat again? Wait what? Oh what the hell! Getting up from the chair I was sitting in I walked over to the side that Natsu was sitting at and pulled out the chair next to him. He gave me a grateful smile before holding both of my hands in his. I looked at him with my eyebrows raised. Confused by his gesture and wondering what he was planning on doing.

"Look Lucy I..."

A/N: I know! I know! I'm such a cruel person to end it there! Please bare with me for awhile while I think of what Natsu should say to Lucy! I"M SORRY!
