Zero's POV

I was in my underground lair with Kaeru (pronounced KAI-ERU) and Skylar Yameruko who are brother and sister and work or me.

"Zero, are you sure you want to do this?" asked Kaeru.

"I have no choice Kaeru. I have to get Naruto out of the way or else I will never get my mate back" I growled.

"But boss, this may not be the best idea-" I cut Skylar off by slamming my hands on the table.

"Do not question me Skylar! This is the best plan I have ever had and it will work!" I shouted.

Skylar cowered before me and I smirked at her weakness.

"Boss?" asked Kaeru.

"Yes Kaeru?"

"How will we get rid of Naruto?"

"Well, I want you and Skylar to follow and kidnap Naruto and bring him to me so I can start on his torture" I smirk.

Kaeru and Skylar smirk along with me. Those two can be stupid at times but they are total bloodthirsty werewolves. Kaeru and Skylar then mock salute me and I do the same to them. They then run off and up the stairs to the outside world.

"Finally, the chase has started. You may have won the battle Naruto, but I will win the war" I cackle evilly as I walk down the hall to my office.

Sasuke's POV

I can feel it in my gut; something bad is going to happen but I can't tell Naruto or else he'll worry even more. Unfortunately, Naruto can sense something wrong and I curse silently.

"Sasuke is something wrong?" he asks.

I sigh in defeat and nod.

"I can feel it in my gut that something bad is going to happen. I don't like this Naruto, I really don't" I really didn't want to start crying again but I couldn't stop myself.

I then felt someone hook their fingers underneath my chin and I looked up. Naruto was right there in front of me and he had his forehead against mine.

"Sasuke, don't worry. Remember what I said earlier about protecting you? Well, I meant it and I seriously won't let anyone hurt you anymore. I hate seeing you like this. It makes my heart hurt" Naruto whispers.

I hear the strain in his voice like he's trying to hold back tears. I gaze softly and Naruto and grab the back of his head to pull him into a soft kiss.

He softly kisses me back and I'm the one to pull away after 1 whole minute.

"Naruto, don't try to hold back your tears. You don't have to be embarrassed about crying in front of people" I said softly.

And that's when the water works started.

Naruto literally broke down and sobbed his heart out. His shoulders were shaking violently and I could see some of his tears leaking through his hands. I then crawled onto the floor and sat in front of Naruto. I gently tapped his shoulder and he looked up.

His face was streaked with tears and his eyes were red from crying. I've never seen Naruto cry this much. Naruto had always held back his tears and comforted me when I was crying but now it's my turn to comfort Naruto.

I run my fingers through his hair and out the corner of my eye I can see that everyone except for Itachi, Madara and Tobi have left the room. Naruto tries to sniffle quietly but fails to do so. His breathing is laboured and fast and is coming out in deep exhales.

I'm worried that this might be too much for Naruto to handle; even if he is the ultimate Alpha. I can see the fear in his eyes. It's clear as day to me. Even I'm scared and believe me; Uchiha's don't get scared easily but this is taking its toll on Naruto and I think the pressure of it all is making Naruto feel this sort of responsibility for his whole pack.

I mean, he does have to take care of the pack but with Zero's return, it just made his responsibilities climb and on top of that, he had to protect his family from getting killed. He's breaking under the pressure and I don't think it will be long until he fully collapses.

"Naruto, it is okay to be scared. Hell, even I'm scared but you're stronger than all of us Naruto and you're stronger than him" I whisper softly.

"Sas don't put all of your faith in me. I can't handle this; it's just too much. I have to protect this whole town from ultimate destruction and I have to protect my family too…I don't know if I can handle all that" said Naruto with a shaky voice.

I sighed and kissed his forehead while rubbing his back.

"Of course you can Naruto. I believe in you, everyone does. I know you might think you'll break under the pressure but I know you; I know you'll stay strong and keep a level head. That's why I'm putting my faith in you because I know you're stronger than anyone else here" I say in a reassuring voice.

He looks into my eyes and sighs shakily. He then gets up and grabs my hand and pulls me towards my bedroom. His tears are gone now and once he gets to my room, he practically shoves me inside. I fall on the bed and make a confused face.

"Naruto, what-"

"Sasuke, do you want to do it?" he asks with his eyes narrowed.

A light bulb the goes off in my head.

Naruto wants to do...that.

I whimper silently and nod my head. Naruto seriously has a way to turn me into a whimpering mess even though he hasn't even touched me yet. Apparently he knows this because he's smirking at me.
